The Temple of Destiny In the vast nothingness between the tri city area of Barton, Durem and Gambino lies the wasteland known as The Void. There is no life; energy swirls but is unharnessable. Magic goes astray and mages fear for their lives. Even mortals dare not enter, for many a tale has been told of men losing their minds or souls to The Void as price of passage.
In the center of The Void however, is a temple. It is the Temple of Chaos, which claims to have knowledge of before Gaia was created. Knowledge of the truly divine. Rumors abound, but few have dared enter and none have returned to prove this tale myth or fact. All that is known is a simple description from unknown sources.
Squarish in shape, the Temple reaches to the heavens and appears to be made of some obsidian-like crystal, except for the fact that it appears completely transparent. Or at least that one can see other crystals through it. But, nothing on the inside can be seen at all. At the front of the building are two large gate-like doors made of the same material. Other than this entrance, neither window nor door mars the sheer perfection of this mysterious structure.
On the inside are four rooms. One is a large room, in which rests an altar. There is only one door, behind the altar. However, this building holds many secrets. There is no way to tell how large or small the rooms are, they simply appear to be as large or as small as needed.

The others had all left by now. The other participants of this...'game'. Leaving Allen alone now, unless someone had stuck around that he hadn't seen. Which was fine with Allen, really. His reason for staying behind, you ask? He'd had his laptop out, replaying the recording of that conversation and looking for any hints. And finding none.
"Bah," His soft voice cut into the relative silence. "I really shouldn't have let myself get dragged into this. Damn me and my urges to meddle. Guess I'd better get moving."
Slowly, he stood, slipping his laptop back into it's case. And then he looked around some, thinking, and trying to choose a direction. This direction would most likely decide whether he got a petal or not. It was all up to this choice.

Finally giving a shrug, Allen simply stepped out of the relative safety of the temple and started walking. Chaos. That was the key. If he thought too much about what was going on, or where he was going to end up, things wouldn't go as well. But he kept his eyes open and his senses sharp, waiting for any sign of a petals presence.
He might not like the danger, but he planned on getting one, if only to satisfy his curiosity about what was going on.

Hard to miss, plain as day. Did it get bigger? Maybe Gamma just wasn't paying attention the first time.
Suddenly the world flashed into a flurry of primary colors. That IR filter kicked on finally. "Gear is up. Yours too?" Gamma sked, still several paces behind, staring up at where the palace should be. Didn't show up in infrared, but in plain view it looked like a big square hunk of quartz sticking out of the ground.

Purely for dramatic effect Gammu made a show of sliding the pump on the shotgun despite the fact that it was currently set to automatic. The ten round magazine would serve him well as he braced the barrel along the edge of the riot shield. Looking at the building he wonder what to expect on the other side. "Shouldn't be too much unlike the building clearing we've done before."

Gamma nodded an agreement, Gammu still facing away. Entry for a building was typically easy. Armed hostiles in doors or not, through a window, a door, traps, it was pretty damned entertaining. This was would be the first palace Gamma had breeched, as well as the first giant-a** crystal.
Three people down in front. Gamma could tell without zoom, they were pretty close.

Moving off to the left Gammu was covering their rear incase anyone was coming. Their sensors seemed to work perfectly for all except this one building and there was no true way to tell whether or not others would go undetected. Pressing up against the wall as anyone else would he mentally prepared himself for the rush that would come.

"Back already?" A very soft and feminine voice called out to the Gamms. "That was much quicker then I expected."
Sam turned to the blob of manhood a few feet away from her. "I wonder which side will win, Conrad." She still wasn't quite sure she believed the whole fairy tale, but just in case...

"We are. We're very much interested in finding a new home for these..." Gamma cut short, head swivelling slowly with the threatening slowness of a turrent mount on a tank. His eye fell on what could once have been a man. A fat, suit wearing load of dough.
This fat ******** was the spitting image of damned near every higher up business CEO from back home. From Deity Inc.
The kind of fat ******** that put computers into children's heads.
While the metal jaws were still smiling that twisted grin, minus a tusk, Gamma's face was devoid of emotion.
"Who," Gamma paused, emitting the kind of silence which only implies immediate violence, despite his pink and orange glow. "Is that?"

"Him?" She thumbed over at Conrad. "That would be my compeition in this little game." She looked at the pink and orange get up and couldn't refuse the smile that crossed her face, but she said nothing.

Gammu's thoughts ran along simialr lines to what his brother spoke of. Even now his brain waves would be recorded and reviewed, periodicly a single would be sent and they would know his condition. This was supposibly for situational awareness but Gammu dread not think upon what other possibilies lay there. "When can this end?" Porjected over the spearker his voice was flat and emotionless.

"When we kill this fat ********>" Gamma replied in Corporate Standard; fishing. Conrad wouldn't understand if he wasn't who Gamma thought, but if he realized the threat and responded Conrad was very dead.
So close, Gamma could take a few steps and bury a knife in his chest.
Just for starters.

"Entertaining Browning." Conrad seemed bitter about something. Not that he had been happy in a long time now. The man was doing his best to be content sitting on a white lawn chair that barely supported his wieght. All things considered it looked more like he was observing a golf tournement or something.
Behind him on either side were his two devoted loyalists - almost hidden behind his girth in the seat. Hector to the left and Claudia to the right - each working on their tasks. While the boss sat nice and pretty Claudia pounded the keys of a her laptop to keep a track on events. Hector had been locked in a steady conversation on his cell for the longest time now - talking with someone about stocks in a mysterious thing called the 'Lollipop'.
A fat hand cradled an umbrella adorned drink - probably mixed - as he eyed Browning's company in distaste. Because there was really not much more he could think of them. How ugly the suits were - costume preformers?
"Your taste in people is...deplorable women." His employees not withstanding as they seemed content to carry out their duties and ignore him gratefully.

"Competition?" Gamma stated, voice plain and mechanical. Eye never leaving Conrad; he was too busy imagining what it would look like if that glass was suddenly kicked into his fat face.
It figured that this was a game, whats-his-face didn't seem too worried. Whoever the guy was, the one they met here. Letting a little slack in his arms he let the riotgun slide with his arm, pointing it at the ground.

"It's a bit of a contest." Sam smiled while she kept petting the sleeping Leon who was laying in her lap. "It feels like a cosmic joke, but I'd rather not take chances with the world I live in."
