Exhausted from his flight, Coll snuck away from the herd of cows and into the nearby forest. Lying in a secluded thicket, the centaur decided to take quick horsenaps, ranging anywhere from two minutes of deep sleep, to twenty minutes of very light sleep, with a few minutes of wakefulness in between.

Kit woke up.
How long was he asleep? Well, all fun and no sleep makes things very hard on people. He got up and streched his legs out. It was time to look for Athan... He went to the forest, where he last saw him. Kit wondered where the centaur they were chasing went, meh, probably decided to graze some grass or something. Nimbly jumping over a large rock, he saw where that centaur went.

He was napping.

Kit slowed his bound to a walk, and slowly crept up to the horse person. He didn't even know why they were chasing it before, but hey anytime's good as ever to claim the prize.

Slowly, the fox leaped up upon the back of the dorment centaur's back and dug his small nails into it's skin, just in case it decided to run. Which he expected, he keeps his claws sharp.

((You need to watch yourself. You read OOC knowledge and your character tends to 'coincidentally' follow said knowledge. This is an official warning, Oliveman. stare ))

Coll was immediately woken from his slumber by a number of sharp claws digging into his back. Instinctively, he simply rolled all the way over, trying to squash or dislodge whatever had attacked him.

Wait! Wait!!! Kit yelled in his mind.
He was not going to get squished here, he's had such a good day, it's not going to end like this. He dislodged his claws and jumped off the back of the centaur, a poof of smoke appeared from Kit's forehead, and he was back into his human form once more. Kit growled and the smoke cleared, revealing him with his dagger in his left hand, and a pistol in his right. The smoke cleared fast and he lunged at the overturned centaur's body, trying to hold it down with his body by pinning it down with his own weight.

Coll would not be held by just any human; the centaur stood over six feet tall at the withers, weighed at least a ton, and had hooves the size of dinnerplates. He promptly kicked out roughly with all four of his legs, and rolled himself upright whether his assailant was out of the way or not. Sheer physical power would win out this battle, as he drew his own stone dagger, which neared a foot in length.

"Okay okay, fine!" Kit yelled, he already got kicked in the face twice, and his face was starting to swell. He got off the centaur and ran for it, this was definately not worth whatever it was. The thrown dagger barely missed him, but he felt some stinging pain near his stomach. He felt that spot and it felt wet. Kit looked to his hand, it was blood.

"s**t!" He started to wobble, where the heck was he going next? First, maybe a healer! Not caring, he went southward.

((Edit that, southward, I can't get onto the other thread.))

Coll wiped the blood from his dagger onto the grass, hardly phased by the attack. "If all humans in this land are as weak as that one... I won't have any trouble keeping myself safe," he thought aloud.

The centaur stuck the knife back into his bag, but as he was removing his hand, it brushed up against a number of foreign items. He felt around for a moment. ...Where did these come from? he queried as he drew them from his bag. Maybe these are what those people are after... He quickly returned the items to his bag, unsure of whether or not it was a good idea to keep the eerie things.

The minivan drove through the pastures, the maids peering through the windows to see cows, Charles peering for a nice view.

One slap on the face later and they were off to the Durem Church.

Coll stuck to the shadows as a weird bug-shaped thing rolled through the field, drawing his bow in case it decided to turn in his direction.

It didn't, thankfully.

As it left the area, he returned to the herd of cows and continued to move through them bent at the waist, so that his human counterparts couldn't be seen. Though, he remarked to himself, I am still an entirely different color than the cows are...

The herd of cows, finished grazing for the time being, all began to lay down to ruminate. Coll followed their lead, but let his guard down slightly, no longer feeling the need to -literally- break his back to stay hidden. He laid himself down near the edge of the group with his back to them. Couldn't ask for a better warning from behind... except for maybe if they were deer. But now is no time to be picky! he thought to himself. As a precaution, Coll readied his bow in his lap, in case he needed to use it quickly.

A greenish glow began to emanate from Coll's pack, but he was too preoccupied with keeping watch for more attackers to notice right away.

The centaur glanced down once, and realized that he was being bathed in a sickly green glow emanating from his bag. What in the name of the Fates...?!

Coll reached a hand into the bag and removed the source of the glow. He closely inspected the three items... which happened to be a set of juggling balls, one red, one yellow, one blue. Though, the colors were being diminished by the green glow emanating from them.

Suddenly, Coll found his hands moving of their own accord. "What is this sorcery?!" he whispered, as his hands began juggling the glowing items, quite efficiently in fact. He could have been doing it since he was a foal, at the pace they were currently moving. Using sheer willpower, he forced his hands to stop juggling and to replace the freakish items in his pack. He silently vowed to never touch them again.

"For a heap of juck... you sure have an equally shitty antenna."

Grumbling, even as he stepped on the gas pedal, he had given up trying to find something to listen to on the radio station. All he got was static and weird garbled messages every now and then, like end of the world s**t.

Damn... are we... really running out of time here?

He was driving with solely his right arm, leaned back inside the pick up, with a lot of wind whipping in from the passenger side.

Because it was missing it's door.

He had to get to Barton. As far as he knew, fromt he last message his information broker had sent him... that weird a** plant should have been in the Guild Sector. If that didn't contain a petal, then he honestly didn't know what the ******** would anymore.

He had wasted too much time at the Boardwalk, and lost his only lead to begin with.

Not too mention the fact he endagered Alex' life.

Throttling it, he drove along the winding road, leaving behind Durem, and hopefully not ending up on any police broandband wires and reported for grand theft auto.

That would just blow.
