West Field Upper - Barton Generally just an area of land enclosed or otherwise and used for agricultural purposes such as cultivating crops, a paddock or generally an enclosure of livestock and even land left to lie fallow or as arable land. Nothing terribly exciting as you count the cows.

Gamma didn't bother hopping over the wooden fence; he kicked most of the lumber out of the way and kept walking. No point in jumping if something that old can just be destroyed.
Cows, here. Gamma wondered how much they weighed and if he could lift them. If so, how far could a cow be thrown?

Cows weren't really an interest. No point in killing them considering they wouldn't put up a fight like a human would. Or something human-esque.
Just a gradual saunter west, to the courthouse. Since the reclamation plant was having reality difficulties.

A blue light fell from the heavens and jammed itself into the ground. Moments later the earth cracked and rumbled at that point. A full sized statue of a priest burst through the ground.
Only instead of a bible it held a platter with both hands. Laying on said platter was one quarter of a golden circle, inscribed with runic patterns. The quarter coin was about the size of a human fist.[

And in Owle and Rage wandered, still talking about rolling.
Owle noticed the statue first, and approached it cautiously. Something shiny glinted on the platter in its hands...
"Hey, Rage, can you read this?" she asked, picking up the coin to show it to him.

The coin.
It was solid gold whatever it was. All with ornate designs that seemd to cut off abrupty on the flat edges.
Under the coin the word "truth" was inscribed.
The minute Owle or Rage read it, the statue would crumble into pebbles. Leaving only the coin in Owle's hand.

Whatever Rage answered, Owle stared at the coin, turning it over and inspecting it. Normally she would feel bad about taking something like this from a religious altar...
...but it wasn't like any of the gods were friends of hers, besides Rafe. And Rafe would forgive her if she took his shiny.
And look at that. The altar had crumbled anyway.
So into the wide pocket of Owle's jeans it went.

"That was... odd..." said Rage with a slight shrug. He (or, rather, she) didn't seem to really care either way. "Any ideas about what to do next?"

"Not a clue," Owle answered jovially. "Pick a direction."
"Ah...and I should probably tell you...something freaky happened, back there in the store..."

"This is different from anything else that has been going on... how?" Said Rage, pulling her jacket around herself more tightly. Even being female at the moment, Rage still couldn't figure out why women were always cold....
"Sorry," she said more seriously, zipping up her jacket. "What happened?"

"It was personal," Owle said.
She decided to leave out the part where Rafe appeared to her suddenly and admired her underwear. There were some things you just didn't tell your older brother.
"When I was in the dressing room...I was swept into...a memory, I think. Or an illusion. Either way, I was...dressed oddly, and Rafe was there, and I was covered in blood..."
Owle shuddered a moment, recalling the clinging sensation of the liquid.
"It didn't last long. Rafe appeared for real and managed to knock me out of it. He...got me back to the real world, and squished a spider, like maybe the spider caused it."

"Sounds like it was an illusion... we're talking about a time where statues turn into pebbles and penguin armies attack... and who knows what else." she pointed to her own changed form. "I'm sure it's nothing to worry about, but if it happens again, let me know. Can't have you go all marble-eyed on me."
She pointed East. "Let's go that way," she said decisively, starting to head towards that direction.

"True enough," Owle said, not at all reassured. "I'm all for moving on, though..."
And she followed him off to the east, because they weren't authorized to access the thread to the north.

Coll, still shaking the grandeur of the church from his mind, found himself among a small herd of differently colored cows. The centaur quickly moved among them and bent at the waist, trying desperately to blend in. This would be a much better hiding place than the herd of deer. Cows didn't bolt quite as easily.

Nothing exciting here nethier... And no sign of Athan. Kit smiled as his feet transfered from the hard ground to the soft grass. The little fox decided to strech out and rest for the moment, the moo of the cows made a comforting lullaby to him, he tried not to doze off, things could go on and he wouldn't have any idea what happened, he didn't want that.
