Name: Ovarian paint Soquili name: Tasebrini Tell me a little about their personality: Devoted to the ways of the troll, Tasebrini is proud, strong. A bit stubborn and hard headed but devoted to the call of shamanism, and will grow to uphold those old tradations passed down from generations, via stories and from watching those that already pratice it. How many Soquili do you have now? 33 and a co-own? Why would you like one of the troll family? A. I love Soq Malis and RL Malis! I'm a huge troll lover, and love reading all the plots and rp of the family. This is a soq line I've been dying to get a chance to be apart of. If you had a Bokbok, what would you call it? Shu'halo as a shout out to my world of warcraft server! Do you play WoW? I used to yes, but as my daughter gets older I find less time to do so. Shu'halo is my server. I used to play with Epine.. Any ideas for helping the plot along? Currently nothing is screaming at me, but this is very likely to change. Do you like RPing? I love to rp when I can catch a minute to do so, Im simply slow at it. Traditionally the Vitterfolk trolls mate for life (or at least with the same partner) are you ok with this?100% I actually prefer this to just flinging. I think Tasebrini would very much be only able to devote time to his/her love for family/mate and shamanism and not really be interested in the wasted effort of having to find a new partner for creation.

For The Horde
Form One
Name: Junglerunner Soquili name: Male: Vol'jin (Reasoning is probably clear to you, Vol'jin is the son of Sen'jin in WoW) Female: Zerdali (Reasoning, I know it's very similar to Zandali, but it means wild apricot in Turkish and for some reason I just find that very cute!) Tell me a little about their personality:
Vol'jin: Vol'jin is acutely aware of his lineage, his father being the next in line to take leadership of the Vitterfolk, and so he sees himself as the next to follow in the hoof steps of his father and of course his grandmother. He takes personal relationships seriously and treasures those close to him, doing everything in his power to protect them. With war coming to the Vitterfolk from the IceClaw Clan, he will fight to protect his loved ones and the land they call home, and of course see it as his duty to guard the lives of the WillowGlen herd as both his parents do at present. Growing up he appears to be a serious foal, saying little and always in deep concentration, focused on what he is doing. He takes all of his studies seriously, but has a particular aptitude for communing with the spirits like his grandmother. He will leave on a spirit quest just upon reaching adulthood, though it won't be long before he returns to the glade the sister herds call home, to face the herds adversaries, but he'll be prepared for it, physically and spiritually.
Zerdali: Zerdali is a quiet and estranged foal, and into adulthood not much changes. Due to life events and her chosen path throughout it, she prefers her own company. She is a resourceful mare who needs little to see her through the day, she makes use of what little she has to hoof and always makes the most of any given situation. She is hard fast and determined, little distracts her from the task she has been set, or set her. She is respectful of others, but others seem to shy away from her company, she is not unapproachable it's just the fact she is rather monosyllabic; making conversation with her is very hard, and she is generally mostly content with her own company which means she rarely actively seeks conversation out. There is more to her than meets the eye, but it'd take someone inquisitive of nature to pursue a relationship with her to discover it.
How many Soquili do you have now?11 Why would you like one of the troll family? I of course own Santiel who was born into the Vitterfolk herd, but due to events occurring in her life she will end up living outside of the herd. I love this family of yours, I know how much they mean to you and I personally love being part of it and being involved in the plots surrounding the herd(s), thus this is simply a good excuse to grab myself a member of Malis' direct family and a troll! If you had a Bokbok, what would you call it? Same answer as last time as I still don't own one: 'Oscuro (reason: you have a love of Trolls of course, who have a Cuban accent, one of their major exports are cigars and Oscuro is the darkest of the 'wrappers' and I simply like the sound.) ' Do you play WoW? Nope. Any ideas for helping the plot along?
Both: Either character both share this same plot, everything thereafter is totally different as the out come of this plot is different for both. Vol'tuuli will change the course of one of their lives forever, after trading off the baskets of Sen'jin and Ysiel to I'mani, the walker attempts to kill all the foals within the baskets. However even with Tuuli helping I'mani gain access to the woods the Vitterfolk call home, the baskets of two guardians were never going to be left without someone guarding them. Only one parent was present to fend off I'mani so some damage was ultimately done, even with the best efforts of the parent. Vol'jin gets off lightly the parent pushing I'mani back, however Zerdali doesn't, I'mani knows the fighting with which ever parent present has caused too much noise that soon more Vitterfolk members will be descending upon the area, she picks up Zerdali's basket and begins to retreat. Alarm is raised once the second parent and more trolls arrive at the scene and soon they are in pursuit of I'mani with the stolen basket. Some distance outside of the Vitterfolk lands the trolls catch I'mani. Within the commotion that follows Zerdali's basket is dropped and Zerdali within tumbles out. After having heard and felt everything from within her basket, she naturally does what any young foal would do, she runs.
Vol'jin: Having survived the walker attack Vol'jin grows up within the herd. He trains under his father, but also like all foals within the herd he also is sent to study with the WillowGlen herd in the arts of healing. Whilst with the WillowGlen members for a stint of training Santiel returns from her time with Warlock, perhaps not on her first visit back... He hasn't met Santiel but whispers and rumours around the herd are heard of her and they intrigue him, as young foals are naturally inquisitive. He returns to the Vitterfolk and asks permission to train with Malis for some time, for he is interested in learning about the spirits, as though his father isn't as strong with those talents he knows they are important to both his father and his grandmother, if not the whole herd/family. During training with Malis and whilst Santiel is also withholding her bargain with Warlock to learn Malis' secrets, Santiel and Vol'jin cross paths. Even at a young age Vol'jin is a diplomatic creature and gently probes Santiel as to the rumours he's heard, he makes light of them, but watches Santiel closely for answers. They grow a little closer whilst she is within the herd, but with time she leaves once again. This meeting and young friendship fizzles out, but he doesn't forget her.
Malis of course won't go into detail about Santiel's situation with Warlock and the agreement with Rynn, and Vol'jin knows not to press his grandmother so lets the topic die. Something about Kalona's beliefs however interests Vol'jin, and though he expresses great talent with communing with the spirits there's something he wants to pursue. This the path he follows whilst on his spirit quest. My idea is that he becomes something of a shadow hunter, like he is in WoW, he balances the darkness, hense his interest in Kalona beliefs, for the use of good which is where is skill with communicating with the spirits, or Loa come in. Of course later down the line I'd love for him to meet Santiel once again, as of course way down the line she will return to the Vitterfolk to visit Rynn, Irlina and Malis. Santiel of course will balance her own darkness but she will have learnt different skills to do so than Vol'jin and I believe it'd be an interesting SRP to have. His skills of course will have some use in the coming war!
Zerdali: So onto poor Zerdali. Battered and broken Zerdali runs as far as her little legs carry her, which isn't far, but far enough for someone caring to find her. (I have agreed this with Katarina) Anor finds her, he is in the lower regions of Imladris' lands, not far from the Vanaras herd lands when he discovers the poor battered foal. Anor and the minimal members of Imladris at that present time are of course healers, and though Anor is half kirin he is still skilful enough to heal Zerdali. Not knowing where home is, Imladris becomes home to Zerdali and she is brought up to believe their belief system, rather than the shamanistic views of Malis and the Vitterfolk, also because of this she doesn't speak with the same accent as her family. Something never feels right to Zerdali, and though her life is indebted to Anor and she hasn't know anyone/anywhere else as home, she still never feels like she quite fits in. (thus her general personality).
Due to her personality and her love for nature she often roams the upper reaches of Imladris' lands, thus she soon becomes a scout for the herd, roaming the rockfall slides for injured Soquili and aiding them back down, sometimes with the help of other herd members, for the healers of Imladris' to work their magic. The idea being is that she becomes something of a wilderness stalker, in tune and in love with the natural world around her, the mountains and woodlands become her favoured terrain. Though of course Imladris is themed on Rivendell and an elven home, so really I should say she becomes something of a high elf ranger, which is kinda funny in a way as the two classes are always in mortal combat with each other for superiority.
Santiel of course later arrives in Imladris, meets Alaistair and ultimately at some point will cross paths with Zerdali, noticing her lineage straight away. It is as this point Zerdali will opt to travel to the Vitterfolk, doing a spirit quest without really knowing it, to find out who she is and where she came from. Whatever occurs thereafter and whether she decides to say with the Vitterfolk or return to Imladris, honestly I think she'd travel between the two, her tracking and scouting skills will be invaluable within the coming war.
Notes: As you well know these plots are just ideas, to demonstrate I've given such things thoughts, as of course my original plot ideas for Santiel altered and changed to suit, though still went through the basic motions of development. Again these plots are ideas, and are not something I am stuck to should I be successful, more food for your own imagination to help with your herds plots.
Do you like RPing? I think you well know I am a slow to steady (1 or 2 tags a month, RL permitting) Rper, I plot heavily in the background and prefer plotted RP rather than just random meet and greets. I am easily contactable via PM and AIM. Traditionally the Vitterfolk trolls mate for life (or at least with the same partner) are you ok with this? I prefer LM's for my Soquili anyway, so that’s all good.
Form Two
1: What is interesting about the Vitterfolk and WillowGlen herds. They are sister herds, once the same herd it wasn't until Malis' daughter mated with a Kelpie (not helped by the fact Malis hates water), Immi, and the rest of the former herd, became aware of Malis' prejudice to other Soquili. This of course conflicted with the general view of half the herd and Immi, who were far more accepting and nurturing. This of course led to the divide of the herd, forming the two present day herds. It wasn't until later once things had blew over and Malis grew and became more accepting that she meet with Immi again, and the two agreed to herds should stay as they were, but work together as one, thus the Vitterfolk protect the WillowGlen herd, who ultimately protect anyone else, with their healing abilities and nurturing spirits. (info taken from both your Teepee and your plot thread) 2: How did Ysiel catch Sen'jin's eye? Ysiel had a crush on Sen'jin, they had grew up together but it wasn't until she demonstrated her courage when faced by Izusa, a Kalona, (Ysiel stayed and fought with Sen'jin) that Sen'jin decided to court her. 3: Who is the main villain against the Vitterfolk. (hint: currently, there are three) The IceClaw Clan, which consist of Solemn, I'mani and her sister Nekali. Crystaea will soon be sucked into Solemn's plots also. 4: Where does Ysiel's name come from? Ysiel Windsinger is a Zangarmarsh NPC quest giver located at the Cenarion Refuge. 5: What is the main tradition that the Vitterfolk celebrate at least once in their life? A spirit quest. 6: Many of the trolls have a familiar, what is Sen'jin's? A tusked bat called Voodoo. 7: WoW Malis is a Zandalari. What part of the current storyline in Azeroth does her tribe have? Due to the damage caused to Zandalar during the Cataclysm, the Zandalari now wish to make Pandaria their new home. To do this they plan on reforging their alliance with the Mogu by bringing back Lei Shen, the Thunder King. 8: Who decided the baskets would make good 'walker-fodder? Vol'tuuli. 9: Tell me a little bit about Ysätters-Kajsa. A wind troll which the Swedish people from the province of Narke believed in. She was also the character in a novel writen by Selma Lagerlof called 'The Wonderful Adventures of Nils'. The book, was a natural study but also incorporated unpublished folklores and legends, which is where the tale of Ysätters-Kajsa comes in. The troll from the legend is playful and mischievous, causing trouble to the peoples of her homeland, but she has a good heart. 10: Malis is in charge with teaching the foals about the spirits, who is in charge of protecting them? Sen'jin and Ysiel are the protectors, though it is the members of the WillowGlen herd which take general care of the younger ones. Mairéad is presently focused on babysitting. 11: What is the current raid called in WoW? If you can't find it, then the current patch name will work too. Patch 5.2 The Thunder King - Throne of Thunder. 12: Who is Voodoo and what do you think about his plan? Voodoo grew up in the same herd as Malis. You state in your Teepee that Voodoo pursued her for her hoof in mate-ship but she then disappeared. Under Malis you state a childhood friend came on to her a little too strongly and then ends up receiving the position she had hoped for within the herd, hense her leaving, I wondered if that was Voodoo? If that is so, I wonder how Malis would take it that he's given up that position to form his own herd simply to hunt her down and impress her. Personally I like Voodoo, I like cute sort of kooky characters and I've always loved the sig images you've had of them together, with Malis totally dismissing him. I do not think it's the best tactic to win Malis over, but as you say he's not the brightest tool in the shed, and perhaps Malis will see some merit in him at some point?!
Form Three, Prompt Two: Vol'jin.
'So, wa's it gonna be?' Malis stood over the young foal, she had a vested interest in the colt, he'd demonstrated great skill will communing with the spirits from the off set. She was proud of every one of her children, though she doted on Sen'jin a great deal, however he never had a good aptitude for connecting with the spirit world, though he made up for it in others ways. Seeing her natural skills continue down the family, though jumping a generation, was something which pleased the proud elder and she didn't want to see it wasted. Mellowed in her older age she knew that forcing the colt to follow the path of a shaman wasn't the way to do it, plus the spirit quest was an important ritual, and one not even Malis could sway. She waited somewhat patiently though her eyes bore down upon Vol'jin.
Vol'jin felt his grandmothers eyes upon him and it was hard for him to stand his ground. Battle training with his father had hardened him, but even his father felt uneasy under his mothers gaze. He shuffled his hooves, edging slightly away from his grandmother, though not noticeably so to give her or his father reason to critique him on standing his ground. He raised his head and braved a look at his grandmother, his face was a mask and he gave little away, he turned to meet the eyes of his father and then flickered a pleading glance to his mother to help him out of this terrible pressured situation. He sighed, he knew his mother couldn't help him now, he refused to look back at the ground, he was stronger than that, instead he kept his gaze at it's present setting though focused on the gap halfway between his father and grandmother.
It wasn't that he didn't know deep in his heart what path he should choose, it was the fear of announcing it to his family. Something told him that his father would desire him to follow the way of a guardian, one of the most important roles within the Vitterfolk, protecting the other members of the family and herd, and also of course providing protection to their sister herd of WillowGlen. He had spend hours, days, weeks, training with his father, they had formed a strong bond and Vol'jin had enjoyed every minute of it, even in the hours he was bone tried and weary. It was the comradeship he relished amongst other things, but this path simply wasn't what lay resting deep in his heart. The one or two days training he'd spend under Tai'jin, Ewa and Atal, all of them teaching him subtly different areas of shamanism provided him fuel for his interest in the area, finally once Malis found time for him amongst her other responsibilities in her herd, and handed over from the other shaman's within the herd, she provided the igniting spark from his interest. He trained under Malis, though there was always some hidden secret Vol'jin felt she was holding back, some connection that couldn't be taught but one he had to learn for himself, and this was why he had to do this, to follow the path which his heart and his head was most motivated for.
He looked at this point at his father and grandmother, and slowly announced in a confident voice, 'Vol'jin knows de path he is to take, he has known for sometime now. I will walk de path of de Shaman, but first der are dings dat I need to explore for miself.' He looked at his father then, 'Fudda, I 'as enjoyed every moment trainin' wit' ya, but dis is what lies at de bottom of mi 'art, I must do dis, but I promise I will make ya proud.' He gave his father a nod and then turned to Malis, 'Ya be an inspiration to mi, but ya be 'oldin' secrets from mi, der are dings I need to know to progress, but I dink dis is a lesson in it's self, I must go alone to find dese answers now.' He gave his grandmother a toothy grin and finally turned to his mother. He walked over to Ysiel, he had his fathers height and build and even though not fully at adulthood he was a hand taller than his mother and thicker set. He stretched out his neck and nuzzled his mother tenderly, he whispered softly to her, 'Fudda 'as trained mi well, I know 'ow to look after miself, do not fear, I shall return to ya soon.' He pulled away from her and looked once again at his grandmother and father, 'I be leavin' 'ere tomorrow at first light, now I will preparin' and givin' offerings to da spirits.'
It was done, this would be the path he would journey down until he felt he had learnt the secrets needed to commune with the spirits with the skill he desired. There was excitement for what was to come, but Vol'jin knew it'd be hard work, and he'd not return the same.
Notes: OMG, that was so fun Rping a character with such a strong accent. I used these sites as a good reference: [x][x] Plus for your own amusement please try and imagine a British person sat at a computer attempting to sound out a Jamaican accent and trying to put it to words!
Soq I'd ideally like him to meet during his spirit quest: Members of Kamiki and Sabin's Shadow herd, Kamiki's Baron Samedi, Kalona's and any other Soquili who practice some form of voodoo/shamanistic rituals/beliefs and to visit the Voodoo herd; though it'd be cool if an agreement to be formed for him to be fostered out to their care for a period of time.
Form Three, Prompt Two: Zerdali.
She woke with a start jolting forwards and instantly she jerked backward, her head slamming back down upon the ground below. Luthien was standing over her, staring down at her with her soft beautiful eyes, 'Your still troubled by those dreams, aren’t you.' it wasn't a question, it was a statement and the pair of them knew the answer so Zerdali didn't grace her with an answer. She collected her legs underneath her and rolled her weight centrally before coming to stand in front of Luthien, 'Do you know where Anor is?'
'He's treating the mare you helped down from the mountains the other day... Your leaving.'
Again not a question which Luthien needed answering. Luthien was so different from Zerdali, they shared little, if no common ground, though the Angeni had played a massive part in her life when she was younger, they had a connection because of this. Luthien deserved some form of good bye, though not an explanation as to why she had to leave, the Angeni would know why. She simply stated, 'Thank you.' She meant it, there was a sincerity in her eyes. With that she turned away from the mare and headed out to look for Anor.
The mare Santiel was with him, she nodded a curt greeting at the flutter mare and then stared at Anor, she didn't need to say anything. 'Harneth, you need to do this, I understand that much, but know you are always welcome here.' He didn't need to say that for she knew that was so, but it warmed her heart all the same. Words never came easily to Zerdali and right now the right ones certainly were hard to find, she looked down at the ground, the tough mare looked vulnerable, it didn't suit her, she muttered something but the words didn't project. Anor walked over to her, closing the distance between them, he stretched out his neck and placed his nose under her chin and lifted her head. Withdrawing a little he smiled a soft knowing smile and gently spoke to her, 'I know.' Zerdali held his gaze for a long time and then simply turned and walked away, she didn't look back, her thoughts had moved on already.
All the time whilst she had lived with those of Imladris she had never felt like she had truly belonged there, it wasn't for a lack of love or the herds members not accepting her, it simply wasn't right for her. Perhaps still haunted by vague recollections of voices and accents so different to those she was surrounded by at present, a tenderness as words were whispered through the wicker walls of the basket to her at a young age. Those words where lost to memory now, so only now she remembered the tone of love they carried, however also with those memories came those more disturbing ones, of the events which followed leading her to become separated from her family. When the mare Santiel had come to the herd seeking refuge, like so many other Soquili had done in the past, she had learnt that her features where not just the traits of two parents, but a whole family. Santiel had her own issues of course, for she wouldn't be stopping in Imladris if she hadn't, but she told Zerdali enough of what she needed to know for her to have made up her mind, and to leave in search of the Vitterfolk herd.
Walking away from Anor and the mountains she'd known as home since a foal, she headed towards the unknown, expecting to find out who she truly was, heart and soul.
Notes: Harneth is the elven name given to Zerdali, it is the name she has grown up with and is known by in general. Zerdali is her true name, the name Malis had given her whilst still in her basket, though of course she never learnt this, she heard it whispered through the wicker basket whilst inside, but it was something she lost during the trauma of trying to get over of the events which separated her from her family. It is generally a tradition that Vitterfolk gain their true name after a spirit quest, it'd be nice to think once Zerdali returns to the Vitterfolk she learns her true name. Trivia; Harneth means wounded female, according to this site.
Though not a tradition of those that call Imladris home, this is Zerdali's spirit quest, perhaps a deep rooted ancestry built into her, but I simply think the spirit quest is something all of us go through as we grow, and it's a fitting story in this case.
I have honestly been thinking about it for quite some time, as I don't want to jeopardise my chances, but I would prefer the male basket over the female, I'd be happy with either of course but I'm finding the concept of developing Vol'jin as a shadow hunter very interesting. But I stress, I would be stunned and amazed to receive either, cherishing them as I do Santiel.

For The Horde
Name: one over three Soquili name: Bal'Zala (Female) or Kaz'Din (Male) Tell me a little about their personality:Male or female would mainly have an impact on the smaller details and the general approach but the plot would be very similar so I'm entering the same basic idea for both. I am, however, going to use Bal and her to avoid having resort to gender neutral terms. The knowledge of the early on attack by a skinwalker and the general feeling of fear given off by the adults would make her a rather anxious and cautious child. While growing up this would cause her to stay close to her family, rarely if ever straying off on her own. She would form strong bonds with her relatives and seek after stories from any adult who would be willing to tell them. These stories would influence her in forming her own ideal self.
At first, this ideal version would only manifest as a timid care taker of the Vitterfolk's lands, a sort of troll druid. During this time she'll pull back from her family emotionally, ashamed of her anxieties.
As she grows though she'll meet a spirit animal (not literal, perhaps a construct of her own mind or a tangible bear familiar) and take to it as her personal totem from which to draw strength. In time as she'll become closer to her ideal self, over coming her fears and become a strong, fiercely loyal member of the family. How many Soquili do you have now? ~10 Teepee - There is a link to my journals at the very top but I've only started them recently and they aren't fully updated yet. Why would you like one of the troll family?I've been watching the troll family grow since Malis first appeared and more than once I've thought I'd offer mate for an existing member if I had one who was appropriate. My love of Warcraft and my love of old and historied families makes this a family I would love to get involved with. If you had a Bokbok, what would you call it? Trun'gl Do you play WoW? Yes~ Level 90 Druid, Deathknight, Hunter, Warrior, and Shaman and a few far less notable lower levels. >w>* It's not as bad as it seems. I've leveled up roughly one new character per expansion and I've been playing since beta. I've been playing games from the warcraft franchise since Tides of Darkness, and I used to spend hours trying to redraw this particular image from the game manuals.
I only really play with RL friends so I would rather keep my server name to myself. Any ideas for helping the plot along? Not really. I tend to do better at plots once thrust into the environment. However, with roots like this I can't imagine it would be hard. ^^ Whether or not there's a basket in my future I can offer Anzu as an enemy for the herd. He's no skinwalker but he's still a vicious and rotten soul. Currently looking to expand his family and create a herd for him. If this happens and the trolls are interested I would love to do some plotting. Do you like RPing? Yes~ Traditionally the Vitterfolk trolls mate for life (or at least with the same partner) are you ok with this? Yes. I try to mate my pets for life with exceptions having good RP reasons.
======================================
Trivia~ -1: What is interesting about the Vitterfolk and WillowGlen herds. They are sister herds and have a sort of symbiotic relationship. The Vitterfolk are mainly protectors and the WillowGlen being more along the lines of caretakers. -2: How did Ysiel catch Sen'jin's eye? They grew up together and she proved herself during a fight with a kalona. -3: Who is the main villain against the Vitterfolk. (hint: currently, there are three) Solemn, I'mani, and Nekali -4: Where does Ysiel's name come from? An NPC for the Cenarion Expedition. She used to take Armaments for CE rep, I think. -5: What is the main tradition that the Vitterfolk celebrate at least once in their life? Going on a spirit quest. -6: Many of the trolls have a familiar, what is Sen'jin's? A tusked bat named Voodoo. -7: WoW Malis is a Zandalari. What part of the current storyline in Azeroth does her tribe have? The Zandalari once lived on the island, allies with the mogu. Recently they've resurrected the Thunder King and Zandalari make up the bulk of the enemies found on the Isle of Thunder. -8: Who decided the baskets would make good 'walker-fodder? Vol'Tuuli -9: Tell me a little bit about Ysätters-Kajsa. Is this a wild card? The only thing I can find anywhere is that she seems to be a happy troll from Norse mythology from a tribe of wind trolls. Seems that most the things that make her happy just cause trouble for the townsfolk though. -10: Malis is in charge with teaching the foals about the spirits, who is in charge of protecting them? Sen'jin -11: What is the current raid called in WoW? Throne of Thunder -12: Who is Voodoo and what do you think about his plan? He's a stallion who's infatuated with Malis and plans to impress her by showing off his leadership skills. His plan seems rather silly and he seems rather delusional.
I really hope I didn't miss any details. This style always takes longer then I think it will. @_@ Thought you should receive some art from all this. Certainly hope there's lots of pretties when it's all done. <3

For The Horde
Name: II--Gen3sis--II Soquili name: (Female) Kai’jin ; (Male) Gadrin Tell me a little about their personality: As a young foal Kai’jin/Gadrin is a highly adventurous troll. Always trying to find something new to explore, creatures to meet, and expand their horizons. They don’t really know the meaning of the words stay home or stay out of trouble. To them, the idea of danger is nothing compared to the wealth of information that can be gathered. And what’s a little adventure without a little bit of danger? To Kai’jin/Gadrin it’s the only real way to live and to learn. That and they feel that nobody can get into the glen. That nobody would be stupid enough to. This naivety has more than once gotten them into trouble, and a very stern talking to from grandmother Malis. It isn’t until the attack on them and their siblings that the danger their family spoke of was realized. It was only then that Kai’jin/Gadrin realized the errors in their thinking. After their sister was injured they were struck with nightmares that never ended. The guilt eating them alive. The relationship was strained after that and Kai’jin/Gadrin wanted to prove to their sister they had learned from their mistakes. It was then that the desire to protect and fight against the threat on their family began to take shape. A desire to get back at the one who hurt them. And a desire to prove their worth to the family, for in their mind they wouldn’t be able to forgive her/him until they did so. How many Soquili do you have now? Sixteen, two are co-owns Why would you like one of the troll family? Malis and her family were among the first soquili I saw coming into the shop. Not only was her story interesting, but her character and the characters she came into contact with were as well. The troll family is one of the most expansive, full of history and yet still full capable of expanding further. To be able to become a part of that would be truly amazing and a lot of fun. If you had a Bokbok, what would you call it? Niwatori! It’s Japanese for chicken lol But I could see it fitting for trolls in a way. Do you play WoW? I did for a while. Played with you as well. smile Still the same undead affliction/destroy warlock. On your main server. Any ideas for helping the plot along? Foal Adventures Just miscellaneous explorings between the siblings and the areas in the glen. Kai’jin/Gadrin wanting to push the boundaries more and more while the other two are much more hesitant. In one adventure at the entrance of a cave system is where the nickname of ninny comes into play. But most of them are just fun, happy go lucky adventures with little danger.
An Attack Like in my prompt reply the siblings would be attacked in the glen by their skinwalker foes. Kai’jin/Gadrin would be off trying to prove to their siblings that there is nothing to be afraid of when it comes to a bit of growling. Only for it to turn on them, and their sibling(s) are severely injured. Malis, Sen’jin, and Ysiel would come and save the day just in time. But the damage would have been done. Kai’jin/Gadrin would come to have a strained relationship with their two other siblings and it would be the guilt of this incident that drives them to become a warrior and protector of the heard. As well as striking back against the one that hurt them. The nickname of Ninny would never be used again.
Adult Spiritual Quest Where Kai’jin/Gadrin really discover their purpose. Mostly through their dreams at night. Afterwards, when Malis gives them their new name, they speak of these dreams. One of which is of the strike back against the one that hurt them. Malis gives them guidance.
Training It’s more of a father daughter/son plot. Where they talk about their insecurities and Sen’jin continually beats his child in training battle. Kai’jin/Gadrin leave more confused than ever, especially at Sen’jin’s words. They are not very helpful in young adult’s mind.
And I have many, many more ideas floating around in my head. I’d be more than happy to share them with you over AIM or pm. This is just the very tip of the iceburg for the ideas I actually have. Do you like RPing? YES, so much so. I can be slow just like you so you’re very much in good company. Traditionally the Vitterfolk trolls mate for life (or at least with the same partner) are you ok with this? Indeedly!

1: What is interesting about the Vitterfolk and WillowGlen herds. They used to be one herd completely. However, upon a falling out between Imogen and Malis the herd split in half. The trolls went with Malis and the rest with Imogen. It wasn’t until differences were set aside that the two halves came together again, creating a mutual area of protection, with two sister herds instead of one. I find it interesting that both herds are run by two strong willed females, as most I’ve seen are run by males. 2: How did Ysiel catch Sen'jin's eye? Both of them grew up together. Ysiel helped Sen’jin push back an attack by a kalona during one of their many outings which really gained Sen’jin’s attention. It was after this that he asked her for mateship and Malis approved. 3: Who is the main villain against the Vitterfolk. (hint: currently, there are three) Nekali, I’mani, and Solemn 4: Where does Ysiel's name come from? NPC for the Cenarion Expedition 5: What is the main tradition that the Vitterfolk celebrate at least once in their life? The biggest tradition is the spirit quest, where they find themselves and their calling. It reminds me of a coming of age type of tradition. Afterwards Malis will bestow upon them their spirit name. That name is regarded as sacred, known only to the new adult and Malis until they mate for life. But even then it is not something required to share. 6: Many of the trolls have a familiar, what is Sen'jin's? A bat named Voodoo 7: WoW Malis is a Zandalari. What part of the current storyline in Azeroth does her tribe have? As of Mists the Zandalari are still a major race, being the starting troll race for every other troll faction in lore. The trolls are continuing to expand their territory and war efforts started in Cataclysm. The biggest issue so far is resurrecting the Thunder King. 8: Who decided the baskets would make good 'walker-fodder? Tuuli decided that, in order to save her own skin from the walker I’mani, she’d give I’mani the flesh of newborn foals. 9: Tell me a little bit about Ysätters-Kajsa. She is a wind troll thought to live in the Swedish province of Narke. The author Selma Lagerlof wrote about her in the novel Adventures of Nils. Ysatters-Kajsa was of the playful sort, playing pranks on Narke citizens. Loving wind so much when a gale would come through she’d dance all over the flatland. It is said that until the winds and rain die down into nothing the playful troll still lives to play in the fields. 10: Malis is in charge with teaching the foals about the spirits, who is in charge of protecting them? Sen’jin 11: What is the current raid called in WoW? Throne of Thunder 12: Who is Voodoo and what do you think about his plan? He’s the annoyance bane of Malis’ existence. He’s on a journey to find her, to prove himself worthy to be her mate. To do so he’s gathering those worthy and leading them into her territory. My personal opinion: Voodoo, honey, I’m just waiting for you to get your kicked by Malis for being incredibly crazy and annoying. I wish him luck. Getting Malis’ attention shall be entertaining as hell to watch unfold.

Prompts One and Two Combined
Momma always said der’s a beginning to evreh story.
Little did she understand exactly what she meant until this very morning. The young troll had always taken her mother’s musings and warnings with little thought or care to what they meant. Favoring instead to play in the trees and in the waters near their home instead of thinking of the future. Adventure was always everywhere. Beehives to find and plunder, squirrels to chase, caves to explore with the siblings. Granted, they seemed more inclined to wait outside until she was done exploring first. They called it safety. She called them ninnies. What was adventure without a little danger?
So when their parents forbid them from leaving the safety of their glen this morning her adventurous spirit wasn’t very inclined to agree. Her siblings kept telling her that it was a matter of life or death. Worrying their parents for leaving versus making them proud for actually staying and listening. But in reality Kai’jin wanted a taste of the unknown and the danger lurking nearby. And seemingly the danger would agree, for the sounds coming closer were evident.
“We should hide,” her sister whispered in her ear, “or find Gran’. She’ll know what to do.”
“Or we stay,” Kai’jin hissed back taking a protective step in front, “der’s no way some’thin could get into da glen.”
“But---“
“An’ besides,” she interrupted looked back with a small smirk, “Ah am no ninny. Now, lemme go investigate.”
“But—“
“Der is no buts abou’tit.”
Kai’jin slithered forward, hooves lightly touching the grass below, leaving her sister behind in the safety of their nest. Her ears perked forward in earnest, trying to find the sources of the growls they heard. They were faint, but not completely gone. In her young mind she couldn’t really come to terms with the idea that following danger was probably not the best idea given the hushed whispers her and her sisters would hear late and night when their parents thought them asleep.
A rustling came straight ahead.
Kai’jin paused, getting ready to pounce.
The growling stopped.
And Kai’jin threw her body into the clearing….
“Beware of da voo’doo!”
To find nothing but silence and the very light feeling of the wind floating around her.
That was when she heard her sister screaming in terror.
~*~
Kai’jin learned a very valuable lesson that morning. Running back as fast as her legs could carry her she found her sister being pursued by a horrible looking shadow creature. It looked like half horse and half animal. Their grandma had told them stories and Kai’jin hadn’t really thought anything more of them other than they were stories to scare them. A way to keep them from going too far and getting into trouble. But when she shouted and tried to help, she was knocked away with such ease Kai’jin only remembered hazy images afterwards.
Images of her mother and father rushing in.
Her grandmother making an appearance of her own.
And the screams of her sister.
They were forever etched into her mind, especially in her dreams.
Even to this day.
So, when the day came for her to take up the coming of age spiritual quest, the spirits guided her to exactly what she needed to do. The path of the warrior, the protector, forever using the spirits to guide her in her training. Never again would she allow her siblings to be haunted by the memories of what once was. She would protect them until her dying breath.
Momma always said dat every story has a beginnin’. And dis is mine.
Tell me a little about their personality: Tok'kal- She can be a bit sassy, and from the beginning bullheaded. Tok-Tok is a warrior in the making, loud and proud about it. She doesn't have a silent bone in her body, and she finds it hard to sit still for long. Tok'kal has a weakness for children and loves to tell them stories and tales of her adventures (real or not), and will even play with them, letting them be hunters and she the beast all in hopes that they will learn to become strong little warriors themselves. Some would think she isn't afraid of anything, but that would be a lie. There is one fear, one uncertainty that was instilled in her when she was young: Skinwalkers. She wouldn't run if confronted, but more have a bit of a panicked or beserker style fighting against one.
Tobaki- Like most troll men, he has a tendency to look and feel laid back, which some can see as charming and others as lazy; but he can be a great and silent hunter should Tobaki be called to such a task. Unlike Tok'kal, his specialty is sneaking and spooking others. He plays it off with a sense of coyness, and some of the herd may find him too aloof, but those closest to him will find that he can be fiercely protective of his family and those he loves. His perfect day is to lay out sunning and eatting.
How many Soquili do you have now? 2 (or it will be two once my basket gets certed)
Why would you like one of the troll family? Because WoW trolls are drop dead sexy and I want to have one join the herd of some other lovely troll ladies I've seen. So I'm excited for this opportunity.
If you had a Bokbok, what would you call it? Little Talon
Do you play WoW? Level 80 Tauren Enhancment Shaman on Gorefiend... though I just switched her to alliance to follow some old friends, so now it's a level 81 dwarf shaman on dutoran (sp?) but ti's so not the same! I miss my horde and Tauren.
Any ideas for helping the plot along? x_x can't think of anything right now.
Do you like RPing? I do. very much so. Right now I've been in a mental funk, but Usually I'm quick to reply!
Traditionally the Vitterfolk trolls mate for life (or at least with the same partner) are you ok with this? Yes!
1: What is interesting about the Vitterfolk and WillowGlen herds. 2: How did Ysiel catch Sen'jin's eye? 3: Who is the main villain against the Vitterfolk. (hint: currently, there are three) 4: Where doesYsiel's name come from? 5: What is the main tradition that the Vitterfolk celebrate at least once in their life? 6: Many of the trolls have a familiar, what is Sen'jin's? 7: WoW Malis is a Zandalari. If you can't find it, then the current patch name will work too. 12: Who is Voodoo and what do you think about his plan?
1) Malis had a hand in starting both of them. 2) She helped fight off Walkers. 3) Solemn, I'mani, and Nekali 4) Ysiel Windsinger! 5) A Foal's Spirit Quest 6) A blue tusked bat 7) I am slowly learning this now as I play, but with the damage caused to the island of Zandalar during the Cataclysm, the troll must find a new home and wish to make the 'new' island of Pandaria their home. This would involve reforging an alliance with the Mogu, but to do so they need to bring back the Thunder King. cool Vol'Tuuli 9) Wikipedia says"Ysätters-Kajsa was a wind-troll that people used to believe in the Swedish province of Närke, probably the only one of her kind in Scandinavia. The Swedish writer Selma Lagerlöf immortalised Ysätters-Kajsa in her famous novel The Wonderful Adventures of Nils." 10)Sen’jin 11) Throne of Thunger 12) Voodoo is a stallion who has a strong attraction toward Mallis, whether she wants it or not.
Tok'kal had watched their parents go off with curious adoration. She wished to have joined them in their investigations, but she was told it would be safer for her here. Hah... what fear would she have of these things? Horses that were other animals? She snorted and shook out her mane and trotted over to her sister. She gave her a n** and then a small head butt.
"Come on!" She chirpped. "Let's be playin' 'walker and and guardian'." Tok-Tok suggested, making up a game having to do with what her parents were doing. Her sister seemed unsure of it.
"Tok-Tok. I thinkin' we should stay put." Bah, what did her sister know.
"We be safe 'ere. Ma' an' Pa' said, yeah?" She head butted her sister again this time with a growl. "I be da cat." Tok-Tok teased and reared up. "You be da' guardian."
Her sister grunted and moved away. "I say no. Stop, Tok." She snapped and the filly snorted in return, laying her ears back.
"Sis, ya' bein' no fun." Her hooves dug at the ground lightly. "One game, ya'?" Tok'kal asked once more hopefully. But the look her sister gave her put an end to it. In defeat, the foal laid down and curled her tail around her rear and waited.
She watched as her sister's ears twitched.
"Tok, I said stop..." She said turning her head to her sister.
"I ain't doin' a thin'." Tok snapped.
"I can hear you a growlin'."
She stopped and perked up her ears and she could now hear it too. Tok'kal stood up fast and moved to her sister.
"Not me..." She murmured and looked around the brush area. There was something out there, she can hear them. "H-Hey! Stop that, ain't funny now." Tok shouted out at the grass. Both of them stood still, like deer, trying to be silent and alert. Tok' felt like she had pinpointed the location of the growling, she took steps forward, each step still much too loud, never let her be called soft-footed.
The little blue girl took a wide stance and lowered her head peering through the grass before charging forward only to ram head first into her brother who laughed at her antics.
"Ya' shudda seen yer faces." He drawled and smirked at them as he walked out into the open with his other sister. "If'in i was a 'walker, don't be chargin' it. It'll eat ya' fer sure." Tok'kal huffed and watched as her brother sontinued his lazy smile and her sister seemed to ease up in feeling anxious.
"I could'da took 'em." Tok'kal grumbled as she sulked over to join them, none of the foals noticing the pair of gleaming eyes watching them from afar. silently, waiting to make their move.

* Note: Okay, now I'm done, officially. xD
I like my male character for Zan'za over my female, though I love both of them, so I'm not picky.
Section One
For The Horde
Name: xxxxx techabyte Soquili name: xxxxx Zan'za Tell me a little about their personality: xxxxx { This is just basic personalities for them, their will be much, much more to the actual character. } xxxxxMale: As a foal, Zan'za seems to be quite the energetic boy. He loves running around, and exploring all the areas around him that his parents allow. He finds out about the path of a Shaman at a rather young age, and finds it very interested. That being said, the young foal then tries several times, no matter what, to connect with the Spirits ( though is going about it the wrong way ). He is rarely angry or upset about anything in particular, though there have been times that something really infuriates him and he flips out. He's ashamed of his anger bursts, and works hard to fix the the temper that he has developed. He's a generally sweet Troll, with a love for all the others within his sight. He's been known to drop off random presents to those around him ( specifically Malis, as she is his idol ).
xxxxx A very wise stallion indeed. Zan'za has seemed to find a great fascination with the idea of becoming much like Malis in ways. That being said, becoming a Shaman. Due to his fascination as a foal, Zan'za has practiced and developed as much as he could in order to gain the respect of his grandmother and learn all that he could. He finds himself wanting nothing more than to learn everything he can about the history of the Vitterfolk, and as well as the WillowGlen herds. He wants to, eventually, be able to learn by Malis herself; though also knows that it could be some time before he will be able to reach that level ( also due to the fact that Malis has a lot on her plate right now ). He doesn't do much in the "fighting" area of the Trolls, having no real interest in it. He is generally a very happy stallion, though there are times where he seems all too serious. He was always very outgoing and enjoyable when it came to conversation between himself and anyone else. He's gotten a grasp on his anger issues that he developed, and no longer finds himself losing his temper easily.
xxxxxTemper: Knowledgeable
xxxxxInterests: Learning, Speaking with Malis, Shamanism, Going out on Adventures, Speaking to the WillowGlen members.
xxxxxPossible Future Jobs: Shaman ( top choice ), Scholar ( meaning he would learn the histories of both herds and try to teach others about them ); Or a combination of both.
--
xxxxxFemale: This little filly is rather adventurous and bold. She's been known to get into trouble, mostly by accident, and often time apologizes for it immediately after. Zan'za loves to follow her parents around to try and learn about fighting and patrolling the border, though often times ends up having to go home due to the dangers of the Walkers around. She can be grumpy and pouty at times, especially when she doesn't get her way. That being said, she's still a happy little filly. After finding out, due to being mischievous and eavesdropping, about being given to a Walker while still sleeping in her basket, she found out that she was angrier than she thought, and in that, developed a strong feel for revenge. Though she hides it easily from the other Trolls, she swore to one day take down the person who gave her to a Walker in order to save their own life.
xxxxx A very secluded mare, Zan'za pushes most of her time into becoming the strongest Troll possible. She is very determined, and spends a majority of her day learning the ways of fighting, or trying to get along side her parents so that she can help them patrol, if they allow it. When it comes to talking to others, she isn't quite sure what to say half the time, and seems somewhat stand-off-ish. Though at the same time, if she grows comfortable with them, she could be quite the chatter box. She likes to keep her life very private, and doesn't easily trust others. Her itch for revenge causes her to be even more untrusting, even of some of the Trolls within the Vitterfolk. Due to this she only trusts who she knows for a fact her parents trust, and of course who her grandmother trusts. If she finds someone intriguing, she is bound to try and talk them into doing something to prove their worthy. It has been known that she would often times test someone's ability to be trusted by engaging them in a brawl.
xxxxxTemper: Critical
xxxxxInterests: Brawling, Training, Learning from her Parents, Exploring the Outer Areas, Hunting, Watching Harpies
xxxxxPossible Future Jobs: Patrol Troll, Warrior
How many Soquili do you have now? xxxxxFully Own: Twenty-Three { Uhra, Yazoo, Morkin, Conleth, Bellezza, Quetzalcoatl, Damian, Israfel, Vanwyn, Kuma Pau'a, As Sa'd al Matar, Dragoona, Acacia, Electro Nilla, Tecciztecatl, Xolotlcoatl, Yiska, Hunahpu, Berceuse Chopin Amachi, Feiurce, Naja Pallida, Vanrui, Tigrinus } xxxxxCo-Own: Fourteen { Kain, Windsor, Corrigan, Anchor, Vidoun, Mirat, Aqua, Eidolon Ossa, Chloroform, April Showers, Corvus Mortuus, Phosgene, Voodoo, Eton } Why would you like one of the troll family? xxxxx For the longest time I have admired the Trolls ( mostly cause they had dreadlocks! ). But after a while, I started to learn about them, and got a member of the WillowGlen ( Acacia ). After getting him, I found that I wanted to be able to get a Troll someday; in any way I could. So here I am, trying. Mostly my want to join has to do with the excessive plot. It's so diverse and long and amazing. I want to see just what will be happening within it, and, to be honest, have a part of it. If you had a Bokbok, what would you call it? xxxxx Chicken~ I would call it Sir Fluffles. Do you play WoW? xxxxx Sadly, no, I can't afford to pay for it. That, and my poor laptop so wouldn't be able to handle it. Any ideas for helping the plot along? xxxxx I generally like discussing plots as they go, but if you ever need anything that could involve Harpies, I have several that could help with the plots to progress! xxxxx Oh! I have some ideas; but I'm not spilling them~ They are secret. Shhh. Do you like RPing? xxxxx Very, very much so. Traditionally the Vitterfolk trolls mate for life (or at least with the same partner) are you ok with this? xxxxx Generally I try not to fling my Soquili, unless it goes with a very heavy plot; so yes, I'm game.
Section Two
1: What is interesting about the Vitterfolk and WillowGlen herds. xxxxx - Not sure if this was supposed to be a personal question, or if it was something that we are supposed to locate. But, personally, I love how the two herds are connected. The Vitterfolk seem to be a herd of protection and almost a close-minded style. They, from what I have gathered, are a herd who keep the family close, but that is all. That being said, they are also the sister herd of the WillowGlen, which seems to be the herd that accepts any and all within their lands. 2: How did Ysiel catch Sen'jin's eye? xxxxx - At first, Sen'jin felt as though Ysiel would not be approved by Malis ( after all the leader of the Vitterfolk didn't let just anyone into her herd ). After an attack by a Kalona, Ysiel proved her strength, and Sen'jin decided to court the mare. 3: Who is the main villain against the Vitterfolk. xxxxx - Solemn, Nekali, I'mani - The IceClaw Clan 4: Where does Ysiel's name come from? xxxxx - An NPC in a WoW quest; As the Crow Flies. 5: What is the main tradition that the Vitterfolk celebrate at least once in their life? xxxxx - As a foal, they go in spirit quests, where they are left on their own ( with an adult near by to ensure they aren't terribly harmed ). Those that stay close to the Vitterfolk get a spirit name given to them by Malis. When lifemated, the name is shared. 6: Many of the trolls have a familiar, what is Sen'jin's? xxxxx - A tusked blue bat named Voodoo. 7: WoW Malis is a Zandalari. What part of the current storyline in Azeroth does her tribe have? xxxxx- The Zandalari were content with their lives for several years. But after witnessing several harmful events, mostly that of the destruction of the Troll Race, they decided to establish themselves as a sovereign power. They suddenly had an interest in a mysterious prophet called only "Zul". He convinced the Zandalari that at this time, might is hte only way to recover true troll culter and return the troll civilization to greatness. Not much is known about Zul yet, but the fact that the Zandalari are following a mysterious prophet is disturbing. What is worse is that the Zandalari seem to be in favor of the idea of war, when they have always avoided it. They resurected the Thunder King, and now fight along side him, against the Alliance and the Horde. 8: Who decided the baskets would make good 'walker-fodder? xxxxx - I'mani is the attacker of the trolls, specifically Tuuli. Tuuli, in order to save her own life, gives up the baskets so that she won't die. 9: Tell me a little bit about Ysätters-Kajsa. xxxxx - A wind-troll that people believed in, generally in the Swedish province of Närke. She was a happy and playful troll, instead of a dark and gloomy one. 10: Malis is in charge with teaching the foals about the spirits, who is in charge of protecting them? xxxxx - Sen'jin and Ysiel, they are the protectors of the herd and the boarders. 11: What is the current raid called in WoW? xxxxx - Patch 5.2: The Thunder King Now Lives. xxxxx - Throne of Thunder 12: Who is Voodoo and what do you think about his plan? xxxxx - Voodoo is an old childhood friend of Malis'. He is in love with her, and currently wandering around while searching for her. He is trying to prove himself worthy to be her mate, and in his mind, already thinks that he is her mate and she is madly in love with him. As for what I think, it's really amusing. I find him to be an interesting character, and can't wait to see what he will be doing in the plot to come.
Section Two.Two - The Second Set. { I decided to answer all the questions, so that I can learn more about the Vitterfolk and WillowGlen, and all the people within these worlds }
1: Name the Vitterfolk's nearest neighbors and their unspoken agreement. xxxxx The Vitterfolk's nearest neighbors are right across the river, and known as the Flock; a herd of Harpies. They have an agreement not to hunt within each-other's lands, basically a mutual respect of each others cultures. 2: In Azeroth, who is Sen'jin? xxxxx The spiritual leader of the Darkspear tribe. He's an enigmatic witch-doctor with a strong link to the spirits and eternally rain-swept island. He lives a peaceful life, that was until the troubles began. 3: What tier am I making for Blizzcon this year? (Or what tier did I make last time?) xxxxx Tier Fourteen. You're also working on a Fetish Shaman costume, which looks awesome so far! I can't wait to see them all put together; pictures will be needed. 4: Shamans use totems in WoW, tell me what are the four elements they use. xxxxx The four elements are Earth, Fire, Water, and Air. I also find it interesting that a Shaman's totem is very unique to their person; meaning it's kind of like the names Malis gives the young Trolls when they finish their Spirit Quests. Hmm. Plots may be brewing. 5: What is a troll's favored mount in WoW (the race as a whole). What is Malis' favored mount? (Hint: It has something to do with 'bokbok'.) xxxxx A Troll's favored mount is the .jpg]Raptor Mount, a fierce and vicious creature. Malis, on the other hand, favors the special Hawkstrider. 6: The baskets have a nephew called Atal'rin, what is special about him? xxxxx He has no eyes. Yup, that's it. No, just kidding, but then not. What's interesting about him is that his mother, Ewa'kepi met with a strange stallion while on a Spirit Journey. At that time, she talked with him, and went to sleep. When she awoke, she was with child. Her daughter was taken away by the spirits, but Atal'rin stayed at her side, and was named such do to being "adored by the spirits". He has a sixth sense, due to not having his eyes, and is quite the unique stallion. He also does not live within the Vitterfolk, and instead lives in the WillowGlen herd, where he is learning the healing arts and herbalism from Dayunsi. 7: What is the name of the kalona who attacked Ysiel and Sen'jin and what is interesting about her son? (Hint: I own him) xxxxx Izusa is the name of the Kalona who attacked Ysiel and Sen'jin, finding them within the trees. What's interesting about Súileabhán is that he teamed up with Zandali, and fought the trolls, where they lost. They trained together, and when Súileabhán got Zandali pregnant, he fled. What's really interesting, is that he has children who are now part of the Vitterfolk herd. So his kin is part of the creatures that beat him; that and Tuuli is one of his children. You know what that means. Like father like daughter. 8: Tempest has a brother, what 'gryph is he based off in WoW? (Bonus: How do you get one in WoW) xxxxx His brother, Firewing, is based off a Flameward Hippogryph. To get the item for the mount, once must complete the Molten Front Offensive quest. You have to unlock several criteria in the attack in order to gain the item. The criteria include: The Sanctuary Must not Fall, Druids of the Talon, Calling the Ancients, Filling the Moonwell, Need... Water... Badly...., Through the Gates of Hell, The Shadow Wardens, Additional Armaments, and Little Lasher. 9: Who will be the next leader of the WillowGlen Herd? xxxxx Imogen and Dayunsi's most recent girl, Kai'kaede will be the one who takes over the WillowGlen herd when Imogen decides to step down. ( And Acacia totally wants to support his sister! ) 10: Peikko means something very special, what is it? xxxxx This was a tricky one, but I located it! I think... xD Peikko is a Finnish word; when translated to English, it means Troll! 11: Who were the first true enemies of the Gurubashi and Amani? xxxxx Honestly, I would say each other. Though they didn't war against one another, they didn't like each other either, and often times disagreed. But as for a war enemy, their common one was the third empire, the civilization of the Azj'Aqir. They were a insectoid race who wanted to destroy anyone who was not an insect; aka, the Trolls. 12: To Solemn, what is important about Crystaea. (Bonus: What was important about her in WoW) xxxxx Crystaea is from Solemn's past, before he got cursed. He believes that she came to him due to Malis, and plans on having Crystaea join his small group in order to take down the Vitterfolk. xxxxx As for in WoW, I couldn't find a character based off her in the game. But, I looked up her species, the draenei. They seem to be a rather interesting race, with several problematic situations happening in their past, mostly due to another named Kil'jaeden. He manipulated some orcs that had an agreement with the draenei and had them attack. The draenei is also very interesting, in that they are very magical creatures. Their culture centers around the Holy Light of Creation and magic. I'm curious to find out more about Crystaea in the stories to come.
Section Three One
xxxxx [ I’m combining both the prompts. :3 And playing Zan’za as a male in this one. ]
xxxxx Zan’za blinked up at his mother and father. They were going to go talk to Malis about something very important, and he was told to ensure his sisters stayed perfectly safe. Tilting his head lightly, he smiled and nodded to the two older Soquili. They gave all their children a gentle nuzzle, before moving away. The colt looked at his siblings, smiling toward them, before he dashed over and began to play; tag, hide and seek, and even some small fighting matches. He loved playing with his siblings, because he loved his sisters! Why not, right?
xxxxx As he played, he grew tired. Zan’za paused as he panted. He smiled at them, letting out a carefree laugh before shaking his head some. His eyes flickered, and he could see Malis not far off, talking with Ysiel and Sen. Blinking, he tilted his head, and watched them for several minutes, before smiling brightly. He loved his grandmother, idolized her. She was amazing. Strong, and sturdy, and so in tune with the spirits! It honestly made him somewhat jealous. He wanted to speak to them too! He wanted to be a great shaman like his grandmother!
xxxxx Nodding his head, he started to trot over toward the three adults, his head held high, tail giving a slight tail flick of pride and, honestly, a sort of cockiness.
xxxxx And then it happened all at once. A loud noise from the West. He stopped, his ears perking up. Zan’za stared to the side as several of the older Trolls moved forward, advancing on his parents and Malis. There was a flurry of talking, which Zan’za didn’t hear, before his parents nodded and started off in the direction the other adults had come from. He started to advance to follow, but Malis interjected, dropping her head to smile at the small colt, before nudging him back toward his siblings.
xxxxx”No’ you lil’one. You and your siblings be stayin’ within the inner glen. Stayin’ safe. No one leaves.” Malis stated, her voice holding a firm edge.
xxxxx”Aye, Grandma. We will stay put. Promise!” Zan’za stated, nodding his head happily toward his grandmother.
xxxxx Malis smiled at them, though it was off. Not a true smile that he knew his grandmother to have. She gave them each a quick look over, nodded, and then was off to find out what was going on. Zan’za shifted slightly watching as the adults seemed to leave them be in the inner glen. He could see another Troll patrolling around, ensuring nothing got close to the inner glen; ensuring the safety of the foals. Zan’za blinked at the older one, before turning his attention back to his sisters. Both seemed to be rather calm at the moment, and it made him feel more at ease.
xxxxx Shifting forward, Zan’za lowered his head to sniff at some of the grass at his hooves. He flicked his tail lightly, before lifting his ears upward. He shifted a bit and glanced around, his body going completely still. Did he just hear something? Frowning, he shook his head, before looking back to his siblings. They were at attention as well. His body shifted over to his siblings, smiling to try and comfort the two, before his eyes drifted to the patrol troll, who didn’t seem to hear anything at all.
xxxxx But after a few quiet moments, there was another noise. His head turned quickly, red eyes locking on the forest near the inner glen. He frowned some, uneasiness settling into his system. He heard one of his sisters let out a small whimper of, what he could assume to be, fear. Glancing toward her, he tried to smile and comfort them, but the movement only seemed to make the two girls a little more uneasy.
xxxxx”Wha’ was tha’?” The older sister asked, looking around.
xxxxx”I… I dunno. Should we look?”
xxxxx Zan’za blinked at them, listening to them bicker about who should go look. The entire time, there was a low noise coming from the forest, a noise that put his fur on end. The colt had heard several stories about a cursed Skinwalker by the name of Solemn. He was a ‘Walker that had been attacking the Vitterfolk and WillowGlen for quite some time. Zan’za had learned this rather quickly, due to the stories he heard from a rather large amount of Trolls. Shaking his head, he drew his attention back to his sisters.
xxxxx”So ‘s decided. Zan’za will go and look.”
xxxxx”Wai.. Wha’?” Zan’za said, rather shocked.
xxxxx Apparently as he had been thinking, the two sisters had decided to shove Zan’za forward to go and investigate. Gulping, he glanced toward the woods, before back at his siblings. Really? They were going to shove him into the growling trees? He felt a tremble shudder through his body, before he started forward slowly, head ducked down as he moved. After a few quiet steps, there was another growl, and then, suddenly, a rustling of leaves.
xxxxx Zan’za jumped and scrambled back a few steps. His sisters did the same, still hiding behind Zan’za. He glanced back at them, before looking forward. There was one more growl, in which the colt squeezed his eyes closed, and braced himself for something to happen; something painful. What he got was indeed painful. Both his sisters squealed. The sound made his eyes snap open.
xxxxx Not far from him was a small creature. A bobcat. It’s sandy coat was somewhat dirty, and it’s body looked tired. He let out a loud growl again, and took a few more steps forward. Zan’za smiled at it, before all three of the foals moved forward to investigate the bobcat. They started to play with it, enjoying the bobcat together. Playing with it was amazingly fun! Zan’za grinned and named him Vulzal, which he vowed to take care of keep by his side.
xxxxx By the time Sen and Ysiel came back, all three foals, and the little bobcat were laying in a small pile. The two parents glanced at each other, before smiling and decided to settle down there as well for the night, instead of waking the kids to move them back into their usual sleeping spots. Zan’za woke up for a few moments, before flopping his head back onto Sen’s flank. The family slept easily together, though the noises in the woods weren’t all too safe.

Section Three Two
xxxxx [ I’m combining both the prompts. :3 And playing Zan’za as a girl in this one. ]
xxxxx The day was mostly uneventful. Honestly, Zan’za wasn’t sure what to do. She wandered around for several hours, exploring around the herd lands. She was curious, and honestly, uncertain about what was going on in their world. She tried to follow her father out on a border patrol, but was told to stay put. Pouting, Zan’za sulked away from the location her father was wandering, and started to look around and poke her nose through random bushes in the glen. She paused after a moment, ears perking up. She thought she heard something.
xxxxx Trotting forward, she started to sneak, her tail giving a small swish as she peeked out through some of the branches of a bush. On the other side was Malis, talking with her parents. Zan’za’s head tilted quietly to the side as she tried to figure out what it was they were saying. She listened for several minutes, before frowning, her eyes widening somewhat as she took a half step back. What she heard startled her more than anything she had ever known before.
xxxxx From listening to the conversation between the three older Soquili, she found herself filled with a rather large amount of emotion. At first it was shock, but rage started to settle into the heart. A frown formed on her features as she backed away, and slowly walked away from the three. She learned something about before she had escaped that wicker basket that was her home for several weeks. Apparently, one of the fellow Troll’s had kidnapped the baskets to give to a Skinwalker. Though she didn’t know about it, or remember it, she felt upset, and, to be honest, filled with a rage that made her see spots.
xxxxx She spent the remainder of the day glaring at the grass and kicking rocks, thinking about what she had overheard. She couldn’t believe it. She didn’t blame her parents, it wasn’t their fault. She wanted to know just who it was that had given her to a Skinwalker! A small growl shifted out of her throat as she kicked another rock. She wanted to get back at that Troll! It wasn’t fair. They were just babies! How was it that the Troll could just give up a bunch of baby family members and shove them into the waiting claws of a Skinwalker.
xxxxx It was then that she decided that she was going to get back at that Troll! She was going to do whatever it was she could, in her Troll power, to be strong and show just what a mistake that other Troll made. Zan’za shook her head, huffing lightly before nibbling at the grass at her hooves. A noise spread out through the Vitterfolk herd. Lifting her head, ears swiveling, she stared around curiously, before feeling a nudge at her flank. Her mother stared down at her, nudging her again, coaxing her forward, and toward the inner glen. Confused, she moved forward quickly and joined her sister and brother within the inner glen, standing beside them with the same confused look.
xxxxx There was a moment of panic, before Ysiel informed them to stay put, and ran off to go and look for Sen.
xxxxx Stay put? As if! Zan’za whined lightly as she watched her parents wander off from their location. They were instructed to stay put, and she didn’t like it one bit. Zan’za already felt herself with the will to fight in her blood. She was still angry about what she had overheard earlier in the day. She sighed, shaking out her mane and huffed lightly as she paced back and forth. She leaned her head down to sniff slightly at the grass at her hooves, huffing a bit as she once more paced back and forth. What could she do though? She respected her parents, and knew that if there was danger, she needed to obey with what her parents informed her.
xxxxx They had always been told about Skinwalkers, and she had heard about them even more so a little while ago. To avoid them and not ever get close. They were dangerous, and a particular one was even more so. They didn’t give the foals much information ( especially not names ), but Zan’za knew that she wouldn’t be able to press them for information. She sighed out a huff, before looking around. This was boring! She wanted to go out and explore, and to find something. Anything… She didn’t want to stay put! She didn’t like it one bit.
xxxxx Glancing around, she frowned. What was that? Her ears perked up, and she paced slowly, tail giving a slight flick. There was some noise… and she wasn’t sure what it was. Glancing around, she moved toward the edge of the inner glen, ears perked toward the skies. It took her several moments before she heard the noise again, and it made her jump, before taking a few steps back to stare off at the woods nearby. What was that noise?
xxxxx”Zan’za… wha' is tha'?”
xxxxx Zan’za tilted her head toward the voice of her sister. Smiling to comfort her, she shook her head, moving over and gave her a gentle n** on the ear. ”I don’ know. Don’ worry though! Whate'er it is, I’ll keep ya safe from it!”
xxxxx In all honesty, Zan’za was scared. She had never heard a growl like that, and it was frightening. Though she was going to be brave; she was going to protect her sister! Lifting her head up toward the sky, Zan’za pranced forward, her hooves lifting high from the ground as she moved, before she stopped at the edge of the inner glen again. She wasn’t going to let some nasty, mean old Skinwalker hurt her sister!
xxxxx Another noise came from the brush, and she took a few steps back. Zan’za glanced over her shoulder, and blinked. The other mare stared at her with almost expecting eyes. Putting on a brave face, she turned back forward. The blue mare lowered her head slightly, before she started once more back to the edge of the glen. She shifted a bit, before dipping her head into the trees, and looked around slowly, eyes flickering.
xxxxx It wasn’t a walker. Blinking, she stared forward at the small growling creature not far from her. There, standing with its legs spread, and fur on end, was a small bobcat. He was speckled, with white along his mouth and tail, and colored like sand and dirt. He seemed scared, and uncertain about what was going on around him. Zan’za glanced around, eyes flickering. Where was it’s mother? Glancing back down at the bobcat, she moved forward carefully, lowering her head to the level of the kitten.
xxxxx”’s okay… Don’ worry, 'm not gunna hur' ya.” Zan’za coaxed, shifting forward carefully. After a few whispered words, and a gentle nudge with her nose, the bobcat calmed. She smiled at it, nuzzling the fur on top of its head. Bending down some, she lifted the small kitten up onto her back, and trotted back into the inner glen, smiling toward her sister. She explained that it was the bobcat that was making the noises, and not anything to be scared of!
xxxxx For several hours, the played with the small kitten, and decided to call him Vulzal. By nightfall, their parents were back. Zan’za introduced them to the small bobcat, and begged with them to be able to keep him. It didn’t take much, before both parents agreed. Zan’za was happy to accept Vulzal as her companion. They had many adventures together, training and having a fantastic time.
xxxxx But what of the Skinwalker?
xxxxx That’s a story for another day.
Section Four - Extra
Link - Just for laughs; cause you mentioned it on the front page. xD
* If won, Vulzal will be made to be Zan'za's familiar, though not be bound to her. I have a plot idea in mind, which I would love to talk to you about, Amirynth. <3. I think the actual familiars that they would get would be different depending on the characters.
Thank you for the opportunity! I can't wait to see what comes from these three amazing baskets~ <3
Name: Lt Gnatty-Bug Soquili name: Jin'do (the Godbreaker, via ZG - boy) or Kilnara (again, via ZG - girl) Tell me a little about their personality: Jin'do has issues. He feels like he needs to win at everything, ever, especially if it is physical related. He thinks he can take on anything in the land and win, or at least die trying. Jin'do would try to destroy the world if it meant he could win something. He has no boundaries; if he is shamed, he feels a compulsion for vengeance. He's rather thick headed, and thankfully doesn't always understand when he has lost a mental argument, but if he loses a fight, he'll do everything to decimate the next one to challenge him. Kilnara is obsessed with cats, specifically panthers. She practically worships them, and they have a keen likeness for her as well. Kilnara prefers their company to that of her own kind, but tolerates other soquili, so long as they respect the kitties. Kilnara is clever, and graceful, like her passion, but physically not totally threatening. She'd rather argue you into submission. She thinks the trolls are superior to every other soq. How many Soquili do you have now? Not including co-owns with non-playing rights, 6. My terribly not-up-to-date teepee Why would you like one of the troll family? Okay, technically I co-own Tai, and have one of her daughters, Avis. And while they are awesome, I want something a little more troll-like. You know I may not be as intrenched in the Soq-Trolls, but I still have a big part to play in other troll activities. On a side note, while coming up with personalities, I started to really get attached to them. I think Kilnara could add a really interesting flare to the upcoming plot-ness. That aside, I <3 teh trolls, and honestly, I expect these babies to be insanely pretty and I want a piece of that. If you had a Bokbok, what would you call it? Asinity. That's what I go to straight-away with belfs things. Do you play WoW? Chitani, Druid, lvl 90, and Kiowa Scaesaris, Priest, lvl 82 - both Emerald Dream. You know how to find the rest =P Any ideas for helping the plot along? If I got the boy, I would LOVE to play out his plot from ZG - him getting taken down because he was trying to destroy the world, and then coming back as a shadow of himself, working to build his power base again. I love his lore =3 But that would be starting a new plot, not helping the current one. As for Kilnara, well, I think deep down she *wants* to be cursed to a skinwalker. I think that would be a *great* plot to get rolling. I could see her running off, getting tortured, but somehow still devoted... It could definitely be interesting. Do you like RPing? I do! I just get distracted by real life a lot... Traditionally the Vitterfolk trolls mate for life (or at least with the same partner) are you ok with this? Definitely!
1: What is interesting about the Vitterfolk and WillowGlen herds. To start, they are sister herds. Malis kind of takes lead of the Vitterfolk, who are the protectors/fighters, and (up till recently) Immi runs WillowGlen, which is more of a nurturing/healing space. And boy have they been through a lot! I love that while Malis split off, she eventually came back to Immi, and is helping protect them from all the walker attacks. Vitterfolk are the traditional scandinavian trolls, while Willowglen is your renfaire guild (YEAH, I used personal knowledge! So what?) 2: How did Ysiel catch Sen'jin's eye? He was always sweet on her, but was worried what Malis would think. A kalona attacked, and Ysiel proved that she was strong enough to keep up with the big boys, as it were. Commence official courtship! 3: Who is the main villain against the Vitterfolk. Solemn, I'mani, and Nekali. The skinwalkers are attacking! 4: Where does Ysiel's name come from? Zangermarsh, aka where they sell her father =3 5: What is the main tradition that the Vitterfolk celebrate at least once in their life? Spirit Journey! Generally chaperoned, distantly, by an adult. They go out as an adolescent to find their place in life. 6: Many of the trolls have a familiar, what is Sen'jin's? Sen'jin's is Voodoo the bat. Malis has Zayll, and you didn't asked how many. I hate you. And love you. Worst trivia answers ever. 7: WoW Malis is a Zandalari. What part of the current storyline in Azeroth does her tribe have? They are involved in reviving the Thunder King, who is going to take over the world! And, ya know, probably destroy it. =O Oh yeah, and their island is sinking, so new home on pandaria! (THANKS DEATHWING! *Grrrr*) 8: Who decided the baskets would make good 'walker-fodder? Vol'tuuli, largely to save herself. Plus, she's ebil! 9: Tell me a little bit about Ysätters-Kajsa. Back to the traditional Scandinavian trolls, she's a wind troll. She's perky instead of gloomy, liking to basically dance with the wind. She used to play in the center of a whirlwind plain. In essence, she would be like if Chicago, the windy city, had a mascot, but instead it is for certain regions/areas of Sweden. 10: Malis is in charge with teaching the foals about the spirits, who is in charge of protecting them? Mairéad, though more protecting them in a babysitting fashion and less of a fighting-off way. 11: What is the current raid called in WoW? If you can't find it, then the current patch name will work too. Isn't it just called the Thunder King? Maybe the throne of the thunder king? 12: Who is Voodoo and what do you think about his plan? Voodoo wants in Malis's pants, but she is having NONE of it. He even started a tribe of his own to try and show off to her. They were childhood friends, but he came on too strong, and got the job she was posturing for. He's actually the reason she left her old tribe and met Immi. Personally, I think he's stupid. Malis can be vain, but not THAT vain. He's pretty much just trying to suck up to her, and I really don't think that's ever going to work. Plus, trolls mate for life, and she's already had two rolls in the hay with Kifu, why would she change paths now? But I'm sure you have something up your sleeve so he can win her over.

Task 1
For The Horde
Name: Kyrieko Soquili name: Alunja (would prefer female~ ) Tell me a little about their personality: Proud, like her father. Alunja loves being a Troll! She finds it to be the most exciting thing ever and will happily chat your ear off about it. When she gets really excited, she tends to fall into the Zandali language, but mostly prefers to speak in Kawanai. She's a rather sweet thing once you make it past her enthusiasm. And hearing over and over again about the Spirits. Alunja finds Spirits to be fascinating and may just follow in her grandmother's hoofsteps. The only issue she has with communicating with spirits is meditating for long periods. And sitting still in general. She would much rather be doing something and helping out! She is rather interested in being a Messenger, like her mother, as well. It is hoped, that once she matures, she'll lose some of the hyperactive energy and mellow, if only slightly. How many Soquili do you have now? I have three Soquili! Sandy Prokaz Alarion Why would you like one of the troll family? They are quite the gorgeous bunch and I would adore being able to plot and RP with family members! I am a huge sucker for family/sibling RP. ^^; If you had a Bokbok, what would you call it? Phoenix, after my Hunter's pet wolf that always traveled and fought with her. Do you play WoW? I did at one point with my roommate. Character: Night Elf Hunter (Named Kyrieko haha!) Level: 23 Server: Elune (but it's been a looong while) Any ideas for helping the plot along? At the moment, I can't think of anything. The plot seems to be quite in depth as it is. However this is likely to change as I were to become more familiar with it and everyone involved. I do love plotting. Do you like RPing? Yes I do! Can be slow at times though, but yes! Traditionally the Vitterfolk trolls mate for life (or at least with the same partner) are you ok with this? Absolutely!
Task 2
Task 2
1: What is interesting about the Vitterfolk and WillowGlen herds? They are sister herds. The Vitterfolk protect and guard the land while the WillowGlen are more of the 'family' oriented portion. 2: How did Ysiel catch Sen'jin's eye? By showing him how strong and fierce she was in helping to fight the kalona that attacked them. 3: Who is the main villain against the Vitterfolk. I'mani, Nekali, and Solemn. 4: Where does Ysiel's name come from? 'Ysiel' is the name of a level 68 quest giver, Ysiel Windsinger, that can be found at Cenarion Refuge. 5: What is the main tradition that the Vitterfolk celebrate at least once in their life? Each foal goes on a spirit quest! 6: Many of the trolls have a familiar, what is Sen'jin's? A bat named Voodoo 7: WoW Malis is a Zandalari. What part of the current storyline in Azeroth does her tribe have? They are allied with the mogu in reviving the Thunder King, bringing forth the combined efforts of the Alliance and the Horde to try and stop said resurrection. 8: Who decided the baskets would make good 'walker-fodder? Vol'tuuli. 9: Tell me a little bit about Ysätters-Kajsa. She was a wind-troll that the Swedish province of Närke belived in. It was said that she was not dark and gloomy but happy and playful, and what she loved most was a real gale. 10: Malis is in charge with teaching the foals about the spirits, who is in charge of protecting them? Sen'jin and Ysiel! 11: What is the current raid called in WoW? If you can't find it, then the current patch name will work too. Throne of Thunder 12: Who is Voodoo and what do you think about his plan? Thinks himself to be Malis' 'boyfriend' and the 'only man' for her. Leads the Horde and is trying to make himself as great as Malis so he can take his rightful place in leading all her territories.
Task 3
Prompt no.1: There has been a 'walker attack recently and your parents have left you to go investigate. Yourself and your young siblings have been charged to not leave the safety of the inner glen for -no- reason. You can hear faint growls coming closer towards you and your sister is looking worried. What do you do?
Oh. Oh this was not good. Not good at all. Why had they told her to stay put?! Alunja huffed, digging at the ground with her hoof. She hated being confined to one spot. It was almost as bad as meditating! Honestly, she didn't understand how her gran could do it. Though the Spirits were pretty cool.
But why did she have to stay here?!
They'd told 'em about the 'walker attack. And that this was the safest spot for younglings like them.
"I ain't likin' dis." She grumbled, tail swishing as the little foal paced back and forth. "Nah likin' at all."
Her ears suddenly swiveled forward, the Troll coming to a stop. What... ? "Ja hear tha'?" She whispered to her sister. Who also seemed to have heard the sound. Was kinda like growling. Was that growling?! "We should go an' investigate!" Alunja said with a gleeful spark to her eyes. Probably not the reaction a young one like her should be having with the prospect of danger lurking about.
"C'mon! Lessee what it is!" She nudged at her sister, who firmly put her hoof down in disagreement.
"No! No no no! We's been told nah ta leave! S'not safe, Alunja!"
"So's what if we been told na'ta leave?! Ain't gonna sees wha' it is unless we do!" Putting on her Brave Face, Alunja started towards the 'growling', leaving the safety of the inner glen. Much to her sisters shock and mixed fear and outrage.
"I-I'll tell ma!" Her sib threatened.
Alunja just snorted and kept prowling towards the sound. She wasn't gonna let some scary 'walker intimidate her! Why... she'd take 'em out just like her father! And mother! "I'll shows you, ya growly thang!"
Closer and closer she got, a slight shiver going down the back of her spine. She wasn't scared! No way! That hunching of her back was just muscles bunching in preporation to attack! Like the fierce Troll she was. "Jus' try an' defeat me, ya good fer nothin'- "
A large toad leaped out at her, 'growling' as it croaked its grumpiness. Alunja squeaked, stumbling backwards to trip over her own back legs. Her chest moved rapidly, heart pounding as she stared at the scary. Toad.
"Y'dare scare a Troll!" She growled back, shakily getting to her feet. The toad just croak-growled back. And hopped along. Alunja snorted, sticking her tongue out at it, before walking back towards where her sister was laughing heartily at her. "It jus' caught me's by surprise!" She defended her ego. Which only got more laughing and a lesson totally not learned. Oh no. She would be right back out there again, challenging that growling toad if it showed its ugly face again!
"I'll show 'em next time." Alunja butted her head against her sib, reluctantly deciding to await the return of the adults.

For The Horde
Name: stormflower Soquili name: Laojin(M) or Alunja(F) Tell me a little about their personality: -Ill go with the same base for both gender- Temper: Social This young one seems to take after Gram Malis with his/her love of meeting others and finding out how they tic. He/She also has a love of animals both big and small and seems to understand them(whether this is in a spiritual/telepathic way or just him/her loving animals and talking to them/understanding vibes is unknown at the moment-as a foal) Otherwise this little one is very peppy but is VERY big on family and will go to great lengths for the family/herd. He/She may be all happy-go-lucky on the outside but the minute she feels her family/loved ones threatened she doesn't hesitate or hold back...you will taste the strength of the mighty troll blood that courses through his/her blood and you will never wish to cross him/her again. He/She also has a thirst for knowledge that flows from his/her desire to meet others and learn about them. She/He may very well be on a path to follow Gram Malis on a spiritual path. (just a very basic base for a personality, should I miraculously win I will be more detailed as Ill have more time.) How many Soquili do you have now? 15(2 are co-owned) Why would you like one of the troll family? Oh my, this family is just too awesome for one to not want to be a part of it. The back-story and plot-lines are magnificent. I've tried at every possible opportunity to be lucky enough to join. They are just too cool and absolutely AMAZING If you had a Bokbok, what would you call it? Peckkins xD Do you play WoW? I used to several years back, but I eventually wasnt able to keep paying to play nor did I have much time for it. I do miss it though. Any ideas for helping the plot along? Do you like RPing? I do enjoy rp'ing, but I too am slow a lot of the time. I always at least want to do plots to have a set direction to go either way. Traditionally the Vitterfolk trolls mate for life (or at least with the same partner) are you ok with this? Absolutely

1. Malis and Immi created the Willowglen Herd until events lead to Malis leaving resulting in her starting the Vitterfolk. Now the Vitterfolk became the protectors of the territory while WillowGlen is the 'nurturing inner group' 2. Caught his eye as they both grew up in the herd, but he was fearful that Malis wouldn't approve, that was until an adventure led to a new herd member and a Kalona attacking where she proved herself 'a troll at heart(blood or not)' 3. Nekali, I'mani, and Solemn 4. Member of the Cenarion Expedition, Ysiel Windsinger 5. A coming of age spirit quest 6. A bat named Voodoo 7. Zandalari have come on hard times, their homeland on the verge of sinking so they are wishing to make Pandaria their new home. 8. Yuuli 9. She was a happy and playful wind-troll that people used to believe in the Swedish province of Narke. The Swedish writer Selma Lagerlöf immortalized Ysätters-Kajsa in her famous novel The Wonderful Adventures of Nils. She wrote that in Närke, in the old days, there was something that existed nowhere else and it was a troll named Ysätters-Kajsa. She had been named Kajsa because wind-trolls used to be called by that name, and her cognomen Ysätter came from the swamp Ysätter in Asker parish where she was born. She appeared to live in Asker parish, but she played jokes on people all over Närke. 10. Mairéad 11. Thunderking? 12. Voodoo is a childhood friend of Malis. Malis left her original herd when he received to rank/title that she was working towards. Voodoo later left to find Malis, but it doesn't seem like she will exactly be thrilled to see him.... xP
Option 1 - Write me a story!
Prompt no.1: There has been a 'walker attack recently and your parents have left you to go investigate. Yourself and your young siblings have been charged to not leave the safety of the inner glen for -no- reason. You can hear faint growls coming closer towards you and your sister is looking worried. What do you do?
(in the pov of a filly) 'Stay within our boarders. Under no circumstances do you leave or even wander too far from within the sight of the others. Understood? Ok, we shouldn't be gone long so just play nice and we'll see you before supper." said their mother before she and their father left to patrol. There had been talk of a skinwalker nearby and so several of the older herd/family set out to investigate. It was expected to be a normal patrol but they were prepared to fight if they had to. Alunja's brother was eager to grow so he could patrol and protect the herd too, but Alunja and her sister with quite content with staying where they were....for now anyways.
Alunja did look forward to the day she would be big enough to explore on her own and she would have no problem defending their land if needed but as for actual patroling on a daily basis, she didnt think it was for her. Alunja already knew she gets too distracted meeting new animals and soquili to effectively patrol. She would be able to do it if she needed to step in for another but it was not destined to be her position. In truth she wished to follow her Grandmother's hoove-steps as she longed to be one with the spirits and be better able to communicate with them.
Though she couldn't wait for the day she could explore on her own for the time being she was perfectly happy sticking to home with her family and playing tag with her siblings. Once their parents were out of sight Alunja quickly pounced her brother who was closer and yelled, "Race ya!" Within seconds her brother bounded behind her with her sister yelling back at them both, "Hey no fair....wait up!" and she too joined in with a slight sprint to catch up with them.
They played for what seemed like hours until they all grew tired. Their brother quickly found a shady spot and dozed off almost instantly while Alunja and her sister wandered around and just goofed off. They soon were near an edge of the land and they realized they had also wandered away from the watchful eye of the others. Alunja didn't think much of it but her sister started to act scared as she stared wide-eyeed at a grove of trees not too far ahead of them. "Hey sis, what's wrong?", Alunja asked but all her sister could do was whimper and stare.
Alunja walked up by her sister tracing her gaze to the trees and then she heard it.....there was something hiding and it gave a deep growl. Alunja was now frozen in her tracks just as her sister that was until she heard her brother calling for them. It didn't take long for him to find them. This snapped Alunja out of her daze and she snapped at her brother and nudged her sister telling him to get her out of there. "What about you Alu?", he asked. She calmly shook her head with a half-smile, "Dont worry, Ill be fine just get sissy out of here. Go Now!" she said in a whispered yell.
Finally her brother was able to get her sister and himself out of there, but now what was she to do?! She hadn't thought that far ahead she just wanted to make sure her siblings were safe. She jumped a little as there was some more rustling and then louder rustling. Her heart was racing and she braced herself for the worst, but what she then heard brought relief. "Alunja! What are you doing here? I told you to stay in site of the others, where are your brother and sister?" Alunja ran to her mother with tears threatning to trickle down her cheeks as she told her mother what had happened.
Her mother smiled down at her and nuzzeled her cheek. "You are very brave my young one and noble. Im very proud of you, but in the future be more aware of your surroundings." Alunja nodded and then her mother sent her off to play with her siblings before supper. Alunja skipped off light-hearted but also have grown some. She knew more then ever she would do anything for her loved ones, even if it meant sacrificing her life to make sure others would live. She would learn and grow into a noble hearted and kind mare, strong and proud of who she is and where she comes from.

For The Horde
Task One
Name: Phail Ninja, but call me Phail, or Ninja, or Hawaii, or Hula, or Cat, or whatever you prefer 8D Soquili name: Zin'ara (female), Hakkar (male) [Female preferred, but don't mind too much x3] Tell me a little about their personality: I guess this really depends on whether the foal has dreadlocks or not XDDDD I was toying with the idea of them not really being too into talking with the spirits and such, which is fine if they don't have dreadlocks, but could cause some mild tension if they head an amazing set of dreads on their head xD
Note: I will write about the foal as a female from now on, but the personality and everything else will be the same regardless of gender! x3
As A Foal: I imagine Zin'ara to be a rough-and-tumble sort, constantly getting into scuffs and scrapes. She's a tough individual who makes her opinions known loud and clear, which might get her into heaps of trouble as she's growing up, not that she cares. Constantly restless and active, she loves running about and playing games all day long. Most lessons bore her, unless the topic changes to one of fighting and battles, in which case she is suddenly all ears and the most attentive pupil you will ever see. A little dare-devil, she'll get herself into tons of sticky situations that she might not be able to handle alone as a little filly.
As An Adult: Zin'ara is still the fiery tempered, stubborn-a** character that she was a foal. With a snappish tongue and devil-may-care attitude to life, she has a harsh exterior that is hard to breach. On the one hand, she is incredibly fun-loving, if destructive in doing so (e.g. she gets her thrills by doing extremely dangerous things), and will readily start playfully confronting others as a quick way to make friends with them. She sees everything as a challenge that she can overcome; nothing ever gets in the way of her and her goal. Authority is a hard to swallow concept for her, she'll happily boss others around, but doesn't like to take the commands herself. I can imagine her butting heads with Malis and Sen'jin many times, and happily screaming her head off at them to blow off some steam. That said, she is loyal to a fault and would gladly die for her herd. That, no one can deny about her.
How many Soquili do you have now? 8 and one basket in the cooking x3 (It's my first basket, so much excitement!)
Cyllene - My first, a spunky-a** seathi mare x3 Sakura - First full size Soq, got her a few days after Cyllene xD A sweet-tempered Alicorn Edan - An inquisitive, restless wanderer Imp Casper - Sakura's IC brother, a misunderstood and confused stallion Timbira - Slimy kindly co-owned her with me! She's a shy but adventurous Soq Apatite - A dark seathi with a painful past Ladon - A happy, easygoing quillinimp who tries to find spiritual meaning in everything Lazulite - A mock-breeding between Cyllene and Apatite xD
Why would you like one of the troll family? In truth, I have looked up to and adored this family from afar ever since I found out about Soquili. This family, Balrog/Stormwind and Maion were the most iconic Soquili (to me, at least) when I first started looking into this shop. I've adored them all from afar and the opportunity to actually join one of them is like a dream come true. The plot and amount of time and thought that has gone into these characters is just absolutely mind-blowing, and it would be amazing to be a part of it. If you had a Bokbok, what would you call it? Oh god, I was so confused as to what this question meant I even googled the term 'Bokbok' until I realised from other people's responses that you were talking about a chicken XDDDDD FLUFF-BUTT. IT WOULD BE MY FLUFF-BUTT AND IT WOULD BE A FUZZY CHICKEN. Do you play WoW? Ahhhhhhh I used to, but I quit just before Pandaria came out. I was on the EU servers, Draenor. Soulslayer was my main character, a level 85 blood elf shadow priest. I was just starting raiding and stuff with her. My second main character was a boomkin (tauren), and the third a marksmanship troll hunter xD FOR THE HORDE. Any ideas for helping the plot along? These baskets are going to be stolen by the skinwalker, right? 8D Do they get to be rescued before they pop or will the skinwalker try to raise them against their parents? 'Cause that could be a super-fun alternative path. This Warlock plot seems really interesting to me, though I've only skimmed over it briefly. Will Zevron manage to save her, or will she ultimately be unable to hide her secret and have to tell the rest of the herd, and risk their judgement? Or will the herd help her, despite their distractions with the skinwalkers? I'm sure I could help think up more things for the future if I gave it more thought *wiggles excitedly* Do you like RPing? I love RP. I've been super slow for a while but my muse is kicking back to force lately. I'm rusty as hell, though, but will get back into the flow of things with a bit more time xD Traditionally the Vitterfolk trolls mate for life (or at least with the same partner) are you ok with this? Yes, yes and definitely yes xD
Task Two
1: What is interesting about the Vitterfolk and WillowGlen herds. You mean apart from the amazing plot-lines between them and stuff? xD They were once one herd, until Malis went a bit cuckoo because her daughter chose a kelpi for a mate, and she's afraid of water. Malis became all introverted and grouchy, and others began to fear her and avoid her. She split from the main herd, taking with her some of her family, ultimately forming the Vitterfolk herd. Then Malis got all knocked up, and learned the error of her ways and all that jazz, and they reunited as effectively one herd again. The Vitterfolk were the brave defenders and protectors, whilst the WillowGlen were the nurturing and caring sister-herd, doing amongst other things growing and cultivating plants. 2: How did Ysiel catch Sen'jin's eye? She kicked some kalona butt, showing that she was as fierce and strong as he was. Well, she caught his eye long before that, but that was the incident in which he found her to be worthy of Malis' approval. 3: Who is the main villain against the Vitterfolk. (hint: currently, there are three) I'mani, Solemn and... Nekali? She seems to just be chilling in the flock, so I'm not too sure. I'd say Warlock and Tai'jin are pretty dangerous at the moment! 4: Where does Ysiel's name come from? Ysiel Windsinger, an expedition leader, part of the Cenarion Expedition in Zangermarsh! She's looking into why the Naga are messing stuff up around there x3 5: What is the main tradition that the Vitterfolk celebrate at least once in their life? Erm... erm... having to pick a herd? No wait, that's not Vitterfolk specific. Heeeeerm. Let me ponder. Some sort of coming of age ceremony? Like the spirit journey Malis went on? 6: Many of the trolls have a familiar, what is Sen'jin's? Voodoo, the little blue tusked bat XD 7: WoW Malis is a Zandalari. What part of the current storyline in Azeroth does her tribe have? So the Zandalari were the original troll tribe from which all the others arose. With their home-land ravaged by the cataclysm, they've set out to make Pandaria their new home, by bringing back the old emperor, the Thunder King Lei Shen, to reforge their alliance with the Mogu. 8: Who decided the baskets would make good 'walker-fodder? I'mani's going to eat them (or try to), Tuuli's the deliverer! x3 9: Tell me a little bit about Ysätters-Kajsa. She was supposedly a wind-troll that people in the Swedish province of Närke believed in. She was a happy, playful troll, not a dark and gloomy one, and loved gales and dancing in the wind on the flatland! She loved playing all sorts of tricks on the citizens of Närke. 10: Malis is in charge with teaching the foals about the spirits, who is in charge of protecting them? That'd be Sen'jin and Ysiel, their parents of course x3 Though Mairéad's their babysitter. 11: What is the current raid called in WoW? If you can't find it, then the current patch name will work too. Throne of Thunder! (Patch 5.2 The Thunder King Now Lives 12: Who is Voodoo and what do you think about his plan? I'm assuming you don't mean Sen'jin's companion xD He's that old lover-boy of Malis'. He's set up his own herd, for the horde! He's trying to catch her eye and prove himself worthy of her love, totally stalker-style. Currently he's all wrapped up with Vanya and driving her absolutely crazy.
Task Three
Coming soon to a store near you! This is very much a WIP. Complete. Sorta. Could write more, but too tired Dx It'll have to be a cliff-hanger ending!
Writing - Prompt 1 There has been a 'walker attack recently and your parents have left you to go investigate. Yourself and your young siblings have been charged to not leave the safety of the inner glen for -no- reason. You can hear faint growls coming closer towards you and your sister is looking worried. What do you do?
Grrrrrr....
The faint growls reached the soft fur around Zin'ara's ears, sending an eerie chill running down her back. A feline snarl rippled through her throat as she bared her teeth, wriggling her haunches much like a cat about to pounce on it's victim. She paced around the clearing in a small circle, slowly prowling, one hoof-step at a time. Her head swung from side to side, and in her eyes blazed a ferocious challenge. I'm fiercer 'n any 'walker out der! She thought, ears flattened against her skull.
Daylight was starting to fade, long shadows appearing at the edges of the glen. Their ominous, twisting shapes seemed to reach out towards the young foals, beckoning them into the darkness beyond. Zin'ara growled lightly back at them, her pacing just about reaching their edges. She would keep them all safe, no one would ever get through her.
Casting a sly eye at her siblings, she noticed that her sister was quaking like a leaf, pressed up against her brother's comforting flank. Thrashing her tail from side to side, she quickly went back to staring at the dim shapes. "'T'll be okay, sis'. Ah c'n take care of us! If da 'walker comes, I c'n attack it whilst you run f'r 'elp."
"But sis'! Yer only a foal, da 'walker c'n kill you."
"Ah c'n fight!" She retorted sharply, lowering her head as she bared her teeth at the shadows again. Tension rippled through her soft, untrained muscles. "Da 'walker won't know what hit it! Ah'll be so fast, n**'in it here 'n' there, nothin' c'n get through me."
"Keep ya voice down!" Her sister hissed back, the whites of her eyes rolling with terror. "It'll hear you."
"Ah told ya-" A sudden loud growl made her break off mid-sentence. Fear flashed through the filly for a brief second, before she puffed up her chest again in false bravado. Dropping her voice to a low whisper, she almost spat out the next words. "Ah dare it t' come here, ah do." She cautiously walked around in a quick circle, eying the glen around her. "Ah c'n keep you safe. Ah promise." Twinges of nerves still spread through her body, but she resolutely ignored them. She couldn't show any fear. Her siblings needed her. Gulping down the large lump in her throat, she paced the circle some more.
But she could feel her siblings' lack of trust. They didn't believe she could do it. Their terrified eyes bore into the back of her mane. Gritting her teeth, she decided she would show them. "Ah'll prove it. Ah'll go track down da 'walker, show it what a troll c'n do."
"But Zin! Mom said we c'n't leave ta inner glen! Ya have t' stay here!"
"Ah know that, ah'm not stupid. Ah has to go, though. Ah has to protect you, sis'." She retorted back, before turning towards the shadows. Taking a deep breath, Zin'ara stood shaking for a second. "Come on." She muttered to herself, "Don't be a bwok-bwok-bwok chick'n." Without letting herself think another thing, she slunk forwards into the shadows, out of sight of her siblings.
"Zin'ara!" She could hear their screams behind her. "Zin'ara! Come back!" Be quiet, ya stupid idiots. It'll come for ya. She mentally cursed, swishing her tail nervously. But she was on the hunt now. She would track down that skinwalker, she'd show everyone how brave she could be, how she would be a fearsome warrior, just like her father.
"Zin'ara! AHHHHHHHHHHH-" The shouts turned into a terrified screeching that set her blood racing.
"No!" Shouted Zin'ara, scrabbling back towards the glen in fear. What if they'd be hurt? What if the 'walker'd got to 'em?. She had to save them!

For The Horde
Name: Gaian name Soquili name: Myu'zik Tell me a little about their personality: Voodoo for the sooooul. I imagine him/her to be youthful, active and strong-willed, with way too much energy and sense of adventure. They will constantly be underfoot as babies, wanting to know what this or that is. What does this do? Does this taste good? Who's that? ...I'm gonna poke it with a stick! They are avidly curious, loving knowledge and oh so hoping to be of help... even if it proves more of a daunting task of staying out of the way.
How many Soquili do you have now? 6 -Aurora -Freya -Ah'Uaynih -Shadena -Esperenza -Lucinda
Why would you like one of the troll family? If admiring them from afar is a good reason. ;D No, I've always loved reading the plots and learning of the characters and what will happen next. It's such an expansive family, and that sort of RP is something I have yet to experience in Soquili, or in RP in general.
If you had a Bokbok, what would you call it? Chikin Strips the Brave. ;3
Do you play WoW? I fail. D; I don't remember my characters, but I used to play with yoooou.
Any ideas for helping the plot along? Besides the purewalkers and such and wanting very much for the evil creatures to be destroyed, I see Myu'zik as perhaps an ambassador of sorts to other herds in creating bonds and friendships, creating allies against the evil. Do you like RPing? I do, if the plots catch my interest. :u Traditionally the Vitterfolk trolls mate for life (or at least with the same partner) are you ok with this? Yessums!
1: What is interesting about the Vitterfolk and WillowGlen herds. They were once one herd. However, they split in two, the trolls of the herd leaving with Malis and the others going with Imogen. It took some time, but the differences that pushed the two herds apart were finally cast aside, and the two became one, in a way. Still technically two herds, they became a larger protector, each serving as a way of protection to the other. 2: How did Ysiel catch Sen'jin's eye? Sen'jin felt as though Ysiel would not be approved by Malis ( after all the leader of the Vitterfolk didn't let just anyone into her herd ), but after an attack by a Kalona, whom was thwarted by Ysiel, Sen'jin realized that Ysiel was more than she looked. He began to court her, and soon they were mated, Ysiel approved by Malis. 3: Who is the main villain against the Vitterfolk. Solemn, Nekali, I'mani 4: Where does Ysiel's name come from? Ysiel Windsinger - Cenarion Refuge NPC who gives a quest. 5: What is the main tradition that the Vitterfolk celebrate at least once in their life? A spiritual quest. 6: Many of the trolls have a familiar, what is Sen'jin's? A bat named Voodoo. 7: WoW Malis is a Zandalari. What part of the current storyline in Azeroth does her tribe have? So the Zandalari were the original troll tribe from which all the others arose. With their home-land ravaged by the cataclysm, they've set out to make Pandaria their new home, by bringing back the old emperor, the Thunder King Lei Shen, to reforge their alliance with the Mogu. 8: Who decided the baskets would make good 'walker-fodder? Vol'tuuli 9: Tell me a little bit about Ysätters-Kajsa. A scandinavian wind-troll who was believed to be happy and playful, instead of the dark and terrifying as most were. She loved a large storm more than anything. 10: Malis is in charge with teaching the foals about the spirits, who is in charge of protecting them? Sen'jin and Ysiel 11: What is the current raid called in WoW? If you can't find it, then the current patch name will work too. Patch 5.2: The Thunder King Now Lives. 12: Who is Voodoo and what do you think about his plan? A troll-like Soq searching for Malis, believing him to be her 'boyfriend'. Leads the Horde, and is trying to become strong in order to show Malis just what he's made of. I personally find it hilarious. xD

For The Horde
Name: Devil NightShade Soquili name: Male: Jin'zek or Zul'Doth Female: Zul'Vinji or Zul'Lith Tell me a little about their personality: Male: He is very driven to be just like his father, a great shaman and strong protector of his herd. In the end this passion could lead him down a dark path when the spirits don't seem to care, or want to listen to him, getting entangled in the darker sides of shamanism (thinkin if i ever get Dlib as a Soq she might come in play here .. mwahaha) he begins to think forcing the spirits of earth, fire, water, and air to bend to his will is far more useful than simply asking for their help. This will lead him on a spiritual journey where only time will tell if he learns the error of these ways. Female: She would be a total opposite of her brother emotionally, a calm Soquili in ever sense of the word. She too has a hard time touching the spirits as a young / adolescent mare but instead of going down her brother's route the filly will try to decipher what is wrong by going on a spirit journey of her own, searching deep within her own soul to shed light on any shadow that could be lurking and hindering her abilities. How many Soquili do you have now? 16.
Vibrant Shades of Death - My first ever Soquili, I was able to get him cause many kind regulars pooled together to get a newbie a custom.

Why would you like one of the troll family? Because I ADOREthe troll family, (and being a WoW player myself .. Shamans n Druus ftw), their story is epic. I've been trying to figure out how to weasel into this herd fro mthe start, jsut not had the oppertunity to do so ... YET! MWAHAHAHAHAHA >8D If you had a Bokbok, what would you call it? I do have a BokBok in real life, his name is Jake. He's a medicine hat paint gelding and he means the world to me heart Do you play WoW? I do! Though I'm on hiatus right now while unemployed xD
Carddon - Lvl 90 Feral / Guardian Druid - Ravencrest - (Was previously on Silverhand, but transfered him to Ravencrest) Desilation - Lvl 90 Blood / Frost DK - Ravencrest Dlibyna - Lvl 87 Enhanc / Resto Shaman - Ravencrest
Any ideas for helping the plot along? With either basket, I think the near miss of dying will play a huge part in who they become.
The male will come to see it in the future as a sign of weakness, believing the spirits weren't strong enough, or didn't have the right 'push' from any of the family shamans to even try and save the lives of him and his siblings. Thus the incident might be one of the first of many changes that sets him down a destructive path, where all he can see is that the spirits have grown weak, radical, and undisciplined; needing a more powerful and dominating shaman to control them. After some time, thinking he has now mastered this 'art' the colt will go in search of the vile creature that attacked them, during which time the spirits will punish him and his brash foolishness immensely by leaving him entirely, and at the mercy of the skinwalker. How he gets away, nd with how much injury, I haven't decided yet and would want to discuss with yuuu rofl
The female will try and suppress the memories of the attack, but as she grows into a young adult and truly beings to have struggles in speaking with the spirits she is thrust down the path of a spiritual cleansing, forcing her to shine a light on these memories and face them. This could even lead to her having to face her worst nightmare, I'mani , the very skinwalker that tried to devour her. What will happen during this encounter would have to be discussed. I can see her becoming seriously injured thus needing healing, during which time she comes to grips with her fears and begins to learn how to overcome it. Do you like RPing? I do, I'm just very slow while I deal with many changes in my life. Traditionally the Vitterfolk trolls mate for life (or at least with the same partner) are you ok with this? Yes indeedy!
Questions:
Quote:
1: Name the Vitterfolk's nearest neighbors and their unspoken agreement. The Willowglen herd. The Vitterfolk are the protectors and the Willowglen are the healers. So, I call this little sketch Trollololol. Apparently while daddy is away safe guarding the herd, the boys have decided to have a little fun of sister's expense and toppled her basket over. .. had fun trying to morph parts of troll faces onto ponies rofl
