Lucid was a little surprised himself at her muttered thank you but he quickly covered his reaction by sitting back, his eyes turning hard again. He smirked slightly at her response; rhetorical? He doubted it judging by her own reaction. He watched her eat for a bit, noticing that she paid more attention to the ice cold water than anything, taking the cubes in her mouth, She seemed relieved by the sudden coolness they provided and his suspicions were confirmed. She was going to need low temperatures to function properly, so in order to keep Lux more in check, he was going to keep his home a bit warmer than usual. He even contemplated turning it up in the basement, but she seemed to be suffering enough for the moment being caged.
Leaning forward as he noticed the sudden defiant gleam in her eye, Lucid knew exactly what she was about to do and his mouth set into a hard line as she pushed the food away even after he had given her a warning. Breathing out in a heavy sigh, he stood up and walked over to the cage, bending down the guide the plate back over to the small opening it had entered from. He also grabbed the glass then stood, glaring down at the demon. "I gave you one warning. As of now, your meals will be withheld for a week and you will get water once every two days." His voice was cold and devoid on emotion as he narrowed his eyes. He intended to give her lukewarm water to emphasize that she had done something very wrong. She was going to be taught to listen and follow his orders perfectly by the time he was done with her, he just needed to get past that damnable resistance she kept wrapped around her like a cloak.
Ignoring her words and pleas, Lucid turned his back on her, the dishes in his hands. "Maybe if you be cooperative and a good girl I'll allow you to have water once a day. I might even make it a little cold for you" He said, hinting that she wasn't going to be comfortable at all the entire week. "You brought this on yourself, remember that. If you only follow my orders and obey me then you wouldn't be stuck in this situation." He muttered, taking a few steps on the stairs before turning back to her, "Sleep well, let's hope the hard mattress doesn't make you too sore." His eyes traveled to the small cot in one corner of her cage. "I'll see you in the morning." Were his last words as he turned and moved up the stairs to the second floor. Today had been tiring for him and he needed some rest, noticing his temper was a bit shorter fused than usual because of the lack of it. He'd deal with Lux the next day.
