I WANNA RUN... Name - Lena Adler Age - 22 Date of Birth - August 19th, 1990 Platform - - Higher education standards in city schools so as to compete with the private sector. - Food assistance for those below a certain income bracket. - Healthcare assistance to help those plagued by the terrors of the city. (SENSHI) - Helping to rebuild the private sector so that they will once again invest in a better Destiny City. - Kisses for votes. Agenda - Lena needs a purpose. As a permanent captain with a somewhat loose grip on reality she isn't really all that useful to the Negaverse. This serves as not only a civilian diversion but also a way to further the goals of her faction. Plus she looks pretty killer in a suit.

I WANNA HELP... Name - Alexandre EvansAge - 18 Profession/school - Student at Meadowview, also works at a plant nursery. What you care about - Alexandre cares about the safety of the civilians of this city and as such he'd like damages, caused by those terrorists, repaired. He'd like to see the economy of the city flourish and new business come to Destiny City. It would be nice to see the homeless and other needy peoples, especially those affected by this war, taken care of. It's all about the civilians and improving the city! he'd also like to see gay marriage rights, for those who want to marry who they love. Agenda - He's participating to support anyone who is against the senshi, but also anyone who is all for the civilians and their benefit. He wants to get the word out about the terrorists! And help the civilians.

I WANNA HELP... Name - Ian BachAge - 18 Profession/school - No school and currently no job. What you care about - He cares about many things. Freedom and equality for all (gay marriage, abortion rights, right to free speech, doesn't like anti gun/magazine laws.) He supports legalizing prostitution and then making sure they are screened and check out as healthy. Ian supports government/state paid health insurance for all those who can't afford it (everyone should be entitled to good health). He also thinks the city needs to start rebuilding and put into motion a large scale building plan for the whole city, in order to get people working. They can start with the roads, transit system, and anything damaged by the fighting taking place in the city. Ian wants to know why the police haven't gotten all that involved in these terrorists (the Negaverse and their allies) and would like transparency with everything going on in the cities government. He cares about a lot of things! And education! God the education system sucks! He's heard from a few friends that it simply doesn't prepare a person for college. Agenda - He wants to honestly help this city. But that aside he'd also like to help shine a spotlight, like a huge spotlight, on the bad people in this whole war going on.

Name - Azzo CrowelyAge - 22 21 (his birthday's coming up~) Date of Birth - April 30th 1991 Platform - - Disaster Assistance programs (this would include any 'terrorist' related damage, and damages related to unexplainable natural phenomenons.) - Assistance programs for those left homeless or otherwise displaced by these gang wars - Assistance for business owners + incentives - To keep an open mind on all matters that cross the table! Agenda - - Azzo is looking to serve because of his family history. He understands politics from his father's views since his father serves in the military; and from his grandfather's point of view - his grandfather having been a psychologist. - Azzo also wants to be able to give back to the community in forms of helping make the city safer after having seen first hand reasons why this city has become dangerous.

I WANNA RUN... Name - Wallace Suite
Age - 18
Date of Birth - April 10th, 1994
Platform - The focus of Wallace's platform is a crackdown on crime- specifically on the gang wars and costumed vigilantism plaguing the city. He supports a zero-tolerance policy, with increased police presence and harsh penalties for those arrested in conjunction with terrorist activity. He is also an advocate of transparency in politics, reform for child support regulation and additional services available for single parents (single mothers in particular), and a higher minimum wage. His views tend to favor equality and putting everyone on a level playing field, but there's room for variation with this.
Agenda - Wallace's campaign is exactly what it says on the tin. He is rather outspoken about his dislike of all terrorists- those who do research can place him as a victim of a suspected terrorist kidnapping that took place a couple of years ago- and he's passionate about his other views. However, he's also fond of the power political position lends a person, and has always enjoyed the political game, even though he doesn't have any particular talent for it.

What you care about - Making politics accessible to everyone! She also supports community organization and bringing more opportunities to young people, and will voice these opinions if asked.
Agenda - Sophie doesn't believe much in the power of legislation, which is why she's not running herself, but she does feel that getting people involved is the first step towards real change.

When the election is over a short man with balding white hair, Chairman of the City Council Waldo Emerson, comes on TV to announce the results. A hush falls over the rooms where such news is important. The city is littered in signs, buttons, and other paraphernalia. He clears his throat, straightens his blue tie, and starts to read the papers in front of him.
"Tonight the votes were tallied for the open position for the City Council. It was a close race, closest we've had in a long time, but in the end Penelope Seneca bested her competitors."
Cheering starts at one side, and then the other as the people that voted for Penelope start celebrating. Champagne and sparkling apple juice are popped and passed around and there are a lot of smiling faces. However, after a moment it's clear the Chairman has something more to add.
"However, it has come to our attention that one of our other Council Members is set to retire at the end of the year. In light of the race and how close it was he has offered to step down early and allow Avery Hollister to fill his place for now. Miss Hollister will have to defend her position to make it permanent in the upcoming November elections but for now let's welcome these two fantastic ladies aboard."
