I qoute 'It's important to learn different languages because it'll help you when you grow up' (In horrible accent)
That's what meh daddie said anyways. There's truth in there, I know, I just don't wanna listen. ^^;;
I think it'd be better if you do learn it, with all the pirated animes in Chinese sub only, damn, if only I knew Chinese. -sighs-
Yesh! Oh how I wish I could just read the goddamned subs instead of having to listen to the crappy cantonese dub of Naruto! crying

Atleast you found dubbed ones. >.>

Everything is just SO cheap! So irresistable! gonk

The only bad thing about the VCDs I got is that there's only 2 episodes on each cd, so I'm constantly getting up from my seat to switch cds. And being the lazy kid I am, it usually falls down to my bro to do the dirty work. xd

I BLACKMAIL my own brother to bring my water up from downstairs:

Viv: *calling to Ken's room, Ken is playing computer* Ken, do me a favour!
Ken: What?
Viv: Can you go get me some water please?
Ken: Do it yourself, Viv, you lazy a*****e (yesh, we both are quite rude to one another, it's a blast, lol)
Viv: I'm busy! *whines* Please??
Ken: No. stare
Viv: *turns nasty* You'd better do it, Ken, or else I'll do ____ (insert evil thing, like throwing PSP out of window or smashing his computer to pieces - he always believes me xd )
Ken: FINE! *goes downstairs in a strop*
Viv: mrgreen SCORE!

The VCDs we have have about three/four chaps on each. 4laugh

OMG! eek

That's exactly the sort of thing I do to my brother!! rofl
Although if he doesn't do stuff I usually say I'll beat him up or not let him use something, like the videogames or TV. He's getting a little rebellious these days though, saying stuff like, "I don't have to listen to you!" scream but I just reply with something like, "When I'm in the house I'm in charge, so you'll do what you're told!!" scream
Then he usually caves in and does what I say and if he swears then I give him a punch as I don't tolerate swearing. talk2hand I'm so harsh haha... sweatdrop

Heh, I've only just recently started buying anime dvds in stores, and most of them contain at least 3 episodes each. I got a few that have 10 episodes in them. However, I only buy official english produced versions, not crappy Chinese subs. Somehow I've learned a fair bit of Japanese just from watching the Japenese anime dubs.

My roommate told me that an anime DVD(pirated one) only cost RMB 5 at China. Wish I can go there xd

Nobody can be perfect at everything.
Chinese and English are sone important languages. XP

I can read, speak and understand chinese. But I can't write some of the words, but I at least know how to write 2000 of them. XP
PostPosted: Sun Mar 12, 2006 12:25 pm

i can read and write a little bit (very little)
i can understand a bunch and talk some (cantonese)
