Nice day. Nice beach. Fun-looking unicorns ahead. Should he introduce himself?

Yes. Yes, of course.

Stellar Majesty didn't see any danger, and was in a happy, social, carefree mode. The unicorn ran forward from a short distance away and splashed into the water, just knee deep, before turning around and trotting over to the others.

"Fine day for friends and frolicking! I am Stellar!"

Wilca had decided to take a journey to the beach this day. She left her Glory in the Icefury Mountains and headed south over the forest. Not many in her Glory had the luxury of flight, so it was rare that one was seen as far south as the beaches of the sparkling strand. Wilca liked the beach, because the sand was warm, and on cold days like today, it felt good to lay on the sand and let the warmth leech the cold from her body. Life in the mountains could be hard sometimes, but she had become accustomed to it over the years.

She reached the eastern edge of the beach and landed, feeling the soft sand give under her hooves. She walked the short distance to the water and let the tide crawl up to meet her feet. The water was not as cold as the spring water in the mountains, and she stood there for a few minutes just basking in the warm sun. Then a shadow passed over her and as she looked up, she saw another winged unicorn flying up the beach. She watched as it folded its wings to its body and dove into the sea. Not many of her kind had the bravery to do such a thing, and she decided she wanted to meet this courageous unicorn. So she took off at a slow trot up the beach, hoping to find him.

As she got closer to the spot where she thought he had entered, she noticed other unicorns as well. Not one to miss an opportunity to make new friends, she continued on. As she drew near she called out a greeting. "Glorious day to you all!"

When she got close enough to make out the features of the individuals, she came to the realization that the stallion who she had seen dive into the water, was actually from another Glory that called the Icefury their home. She had on occasion, seen him flying over the mountains they both called home, but she had never had the opportunity to meet him. She watched as he once more disappeared under the gentle waves. She trotted up to the other three unicorns, for another stallion had joined the mares, and introduced herself. "Hello ladies, sir. I am Wilca."

Kei watched with curiosity as the new mare made her way up the beach. she was pretty sure she had seen the mare coming and going a couple times before but had never had the chance to meet her. when the mare introduced herself, Kei was about to say something when Lei plowed over the top of her.
"Hello Stellar! Hello Wilca! Welcome to our wonderful home! I am Leilani and this is my sister Keilani. I hope you enjoy it here! I know we do. Kei! Say something!"
Kei tossed her mane and greeted the new Unis. "Hello! As my sister has already said, I am Keilani. You may call me Kei. The two of us, as she has said, live here. We run a little refreshment stand up the shore a ways." She indicated the little hut. "If you find yourself in need of something to drink, please ask."

"The stand really is Kei's thing." Lei announced. "It's her hobby to go looking for the ingredients in and around the jungle."
Kei politely let her sister ramble for a moment before gently nudging her aside where she was shortly distracted by a sea-going bird that had landed on the beach nearby. With a squeal, Lei took off after it in a game of chase.
"As Lei was saying," Kei picked up, "I search in and around the jungle for fruits and tasty flowers. And yes there is in fact a spring that I get water from. I then take time to experiment with what fruit tastes best with which flower. Once I have the best worked out, I collect several of whatever I plan to use for the day and start mixing refreshments. All of them are purified before given out of course. It makes them super delicious."

Once the bird had made its escape from her, Lei trotted back down the beach and into the water to stand in front of Stellar. "Are you having fun? I love playing in the water!" She splashed around to illustrate her point, getting herself entirely soaked.

With a glance to make sure her sister was sufficiently amused Kei started off toward her little hut. "I'd love to show you what I've done Wilca! As a matter of fact everything I have was gathered fresh this morning. I can't tell you exactly what I put in each one, trade secret you know? But I would love to have you taste a couple of different ones. I can even try to figure out a way for you to carry some with you if you find one you like." She disappeared inside and, after a bit of rummaging, set on the serving counter three small bowls that looked like they had been made of hollowed out fruit rinds that had been dried in the sun until they were suitable for holding liquid. In each of the bowls was a liquid of different color. The first was a bright pink. The second a bright blue/purple. The third held a milky white.
