I was thinking Dewey because he mentioned he had a partner in research, and it lead me to believe maybe that partner was Lemony. But yeah that is a good point that Frank and Earnest aren't there.

rurouni_starchild Cool. All right...yeah and he said Shakespeare was an associate of his too. ^_^; What did people think of Poe's sister in the UA? Seemed suspicious...or at least easily manipulated. Sorry for bringing this back up again, but I think I have the answer. I put the website I got it from on the links thread. (The first post I did with links, and it's the one with two links) It could be a spoiler, so I'll put it in white: Geraldine, the person who has been writing about the Baudelaire case kidnapped Mr. Poe's sister, with the help of Count Olaf and is holding her hostage. Graldine then disguised herself as Mr. Poe's sister to make him believe what she said. It's not far-fetched, if you look in TUA, you'll see a frantic telegram in a pile that Mr. Poe threw out telling him that Graldine has locked her in the basement. Of course, since Geraldine has told Mr. Poe not to answer any telegrams, Mr. Poe didn't get the message, but I think a volunteer recognised her when they went out to lunch, that's why he had the microphone.
