Spacer"You're welcome," Yui smiled, before returning to his original position. As he looked around at the ones who were present he noted that there were no other lieutenants here. I guess we're short on lieutenants more than we are on captains, he thought, I guess this means I have to participate in the more central battles. Looking to Jermaine, Yui knew he was thinking the same thing about himself.
SpacerAs the sole Arcana member left in Soul Society, a hefty load was on Yui or rather Sasuke's shoulders. Airisa had expressed her wish to leave many times to him but since she had been here much longer him, Sasuke didn't see it coming. They'd been on the same side since for as long as he could recall so somehow, Airisa's departure left a huge hole in his personality, he was going to have to keep up the facade 24/7. Unconsciously he let out a sigh, cutting it short when he realised he was standing in front of the room. Spacer

Caleb noticed the instant Jermaine arrived, it was hard not to. They were both shadow users, and they were extremely close, Caleb knew many of his favorite tricks. "Not to disrespect you old friend, but I believe all of us are here who are coming. Perhaps it's best to just get to the point of the meeting." He had a small smile on his face as he turned his head to face his friend. He gave the man a wink with the uncovered eye, he was obviously playing with the Commander.

SpacerYui eyed the 7th Division captain as he strolled in. Couldn't one be anymore natural about being late? he thought to himself. That guy was good at putting on a good face for himself, using his enthusiasm to cover for his tardiness, smart move. For two seconds Yui wondered if Caleb had noticed the change but the other was clearly just keen on hearing out the Commander. This made it so much easier for Yui and Airisa, who surprisingly sustained a reputation that allowed her to leave Soul Society at will, without much hassle. Spacer
While in the middle of thinking about Airisa's reason for leaving, Caleb's comment snapped him out of it. There was no reason to keep everyone waiting any longer. The Soul Society was short on soldiers, everyone knew that. "I..." said Jermaine. He stopped when he was interrupted by the Captain of Division Seven. He stared at the man for a minute, waiting to see if he was going to apologize for being late. It was the right thing to do, especially when in the presence of a Captain-Commander, but the young Commander didn't stress the issue.
"You've been called here, because we have a problem. A powerful spiritual pressure has appeared in the World of the Living. Central 46 strongly believes that its the Ouken. So I decided to deploy all current Captains and Lieutenants to the World of the Living."

Caleb's eyes opened wide when Jermaine explained the situation. Was he serious? "No offense Commander, but there are few of us as it is. Are you sure it's wise to send all of us to the world of the living? That's just asking for trouble." He looked around at the few other Captains, and at Yui. "I understand the importance of not letting the Ouken fall into the wrong hands, but It's just asking for trouble. If nothing else, why don't you and I remain here in case of a surprise attack? I don't mean to insult the other Captains, but I believe you and I work together the best out of any combination of us." Caleb lifted his hands and motioned to the few other Captains, as a way to hear if any of them had objections to his idea.
SpacerYui looked at Jermaine and opened his mouth as if to say anything, but the 9th Division Captain beat him to it. Since Yui was in charge of intelligence, behind the scenes of course, he could have a say in this. "Captain Masterson is right, on the note of being precautious," he stated, "However, I believe it would be a much better decision for everyone, or at least those who are present to head to the Real World. There are others here who have the ability to defend Seireitei temporarily." And by temporarily, Yui meant for a very short time, probably just long enough for someone to pass through a Senkaimon. "Of course, it's your decision," he added, smiling towards Jermaine. He'd given out his bit of advice. Spacer Spacer

Khairan was listening to the whole situation, he was sure that he heard the word "I" from his Captain-Commander, but Deborah, Captain of Squad 7, marched in and interrupted. Khairan wasn't surprise that he was late, he is more or less the late kind and those who loves to make their entrance grand. When the only Lieutenant spoke about dividing the captains to battle, Khairan corners his eyes to him, and said. "The less the better... If we were to go on all out to them, who knows what will happen to Sereitei. On top of that, Sereitei is lacking in Shinigamis. Besides, if the few of us going to Human World to battle, it'll be more interesting than a whole bunch of people.", Khairan commented, smirked when he thought of going to human world. "Either way, Captain-Commander, it's your decision.", Khairan added, keeping in silence once again, and awaited for the Captain-Commander's orders.

Zatoichi Misawa - The Misawa Clan's Youngest Warrior The Blind Swordmaster
Zatoichi listened to the Captain's speak. He spoke to thos present at the time and yet he got no response. Though Zatoichi is one of the rare Misawa members who enjoys social interaction, this didn't bother him much. Though he didn't know any of his fellow captains, perhaps this wasn't the best time for an introduction. As the others began talking the commander into getting to the point, Zatoichi was sure to pay close attention. "Commander, I do believe that it would be unwise to send all captains and lieutenants to the world of the living. To deploy all of our most powerful forces and leave third seat and lower shinigami here to protect the Seireitei is quite simply not a good idea. We don't even have a Fourth Division captain should something go horribly wrong. As the captain of the Second Division, allow me to investigate this spiritual pressure." As Zatoichi waited for Jermaine's response he began thinking to himself. "I'm beginning to see what Kinu means, to leave the seireitei withough the proper protection, what a ridiculous plan. Then again, perhaps we haven't given him the chance to completely explain his reasoning behind it. We did interrupt him with our opinions didn't we?"

Ⓗashimoto Ⓢeikō
Yonbantai-Taichō
"The cat who frightens the mice away..."
She was not herself. Anyone could tell that. It did not bother her, though. She had returned because there was nothing left for her in the World of the Living. Additionally, it was time to resolve the past. That is why her first order of business had been to reapply for position within the Gotei 13 ranks. While she was not deluded enough to assume that the Jūbantai-Fukutaichō position would be lying in wait for her, the Captainship of the Yonbantai was not what she had had in mind. However, she could not have turned it down even if she wanted to. If she wanted to undo what had happened during her first time with the military, she would need a position of power. Taichō trumps Fukutaichō any day. Apart from all of that, there was the latest development in the life of her younger sister, Tabitha. They had been crazy close when they were younger. However, during Seikō’s recent absence, the child had undergone the awakening of her Zanpakutō as well as learning some of her biological family history. If anything, Tabitha needed her older sister more than ever now. Unfortunately, this was not a good time for the elder sibling and as hard as it is to shun her baby sister, she planned to make it up to her as soon as possible. Simply, it was a lot of various agendas and each one demanded something different from her while all asking for the same thing: her time. Thankfully, with her recent induction into the Gotei 13, alternative living arrangements were constructed for her on the Yonbantai Grounds. For the first time in a long time, her parents’ mansion of a home was not the default location to find her. In response to the suggestion, she had chosen a modern Japanese house that allowed as much light into her life. It was not apparent how her parents’ architectural style had influenced her until the project was drawn out completely. It possessed three levels, and numerous rooms. It was bigger than enough for one person and she could not be happier about that. Plus, it did not hurt that most of the eastern side was made of glass. Every morning, Seikō was bathed in sunlight practically as her wake up call. However, on this morning in particular, it was anything but welcomed.
As the sun peeked slowly but surely over the horizon, its glow stretched effortlessly across the land and into the Yonbantai-Taichō’s bedroom. Once the warmth of the light passed over her, though, Seikō grunted deeply before flipping onto her stomach and covering her face with one of the pillows. She had received word since yesterday that there was to be a meeting of the Captains and Lieutenants this morning. At the moment, it had not seemed to be that much of a problem, but if she had to get out of bed this early for it, problem identified. By now, her bedroom was immersed fully in a golden wonderland and still, the light was stretching to cover all that it could reach. Breathing at a measured pace, the young woman gave herself a few more minutes before rising upwards into a sitting position. Essentially, that was all that it took. She was a morning person undoubtedly, but her interpretation of the term differed diametrically from that of others. While for someone else, it meant that you are up and ready for work, Seiko used it to describe that she adored soaking in the sunlight in bed preferably. With a determined stretch of her upper body muscles, the Taichō gazed upon the sunrise, sighed softly, and smiled. She would hate ruin such beauty with any thought of work, but her duty required her to do that exactly. She shook her head loosely before throwing her legs over the side of the bed, jumping off to meet the floor. That pep in her step carried her all the way down the nearest staircase and into her living room. Without much thought about it, she passed it straight to enter the kitchen portion of the kitchen/dining area. It did not even bother her that there was a pixie-sized woman, clad in a light yellow nightgown, sitting on the counter with a bowl of dried cereal and assorted grains. In fact, she went about her mission seemingly unaware, retrieving cooking utensils and ingredients alike. She showed no sign of being caught by surprise when she turned on her heel and came face to face with the other female.
“Do you have time for breakfast? Think about it,” stated the shorter, but older woman.
Seikō did not look up at the question. Instead, her gaze concentrated on her hands as flew over the assembly of goods laid out before. She wanted a sandwich before heading out to the meeting. They had already said to be there by daybreak and she had complied. However, that did not mean that she had to sacrifice a proper breakfast in order to meet their requirements.
“You’re going to be late,” Nikki commented on her mistress’ silence. She slipped off the counter with her bowl in hand and padded deftly into the living room. In a brief three minutes, she was joined on the couch by her dark-haired queen. There was a platter of three meaty sandwiches in the other female’s lap. She eyed it and her chosen meal with alternating glasses. “There is a similarity between us, right?”
The Yonbantai-Taichō smirked at this before burying her face halfway into one of the sandwiches. There was nothing like turkey on rye in the wee hours of the morning. “I’ll be at the meeting when I get there.” She took another bite, savoring the flavor on every square inch of her taste buds. An involuntary sigh of pleasure escaped her pursed lips.
Nikki blinked before putting her bowl to head, draining the last few grains of her breakfast. “That is not the attitude to have for the first official meeting of your Gotei 13 career, Sei-Sei. Who knows, maybe the Sereitei is in grave danger? Perhaps it was plunged into darkness? Do you want to take on the chance that you were not available to help because you have a truck driver’s appetite?” With a nonchalant pat on the girl’s nearer thigh, the Zanpakutō spirit walked back to the kitchen to wash the wares. She knew that as much as Seikō was defiant, the younger female understood personal responsibility better than most. Out of the corner of her eye, she watched thoroughly amused as the Taichō almost swallowed the remnants of the current sandwich and the entirety of another, leaving the third one alone. The pace did not slow down after that. Seikō jumped the couch and took to the stairs in a hurry. Nikki chuckled at the behavior, keeping her hands on the task at hand. Within half an hour, she was back on the couch and Seikō was stepping down the steps, taking them one at a time. She turned to view the girl’s entrance. “That’s better. Are you ready to go?”
Seikō sighed as her left foot found the last step. She scrunched up her nose bridge in response to the last question. All of her chosen garments draped her body flawlessly while her required hoari was caught in the crook of her arm. It was an oversized white cloak, marked by black along the edges as well as the kanji for her Division square on its upper back. She had not worn it since it was given to her at her induction ceremony. She was highly aware that once it clothed her, all of her personal desires and agendas took the back burner to whatever it was that the Gotei 13 needed in that moment. Wordlessly, the Yonbantai-Taichō slipped her arms into the lengthy sleeves and used an actual belt to keep it closed around her. Most of it gathered at her waist and before long, she was undoing the belt, letting the cloak loose. She breathed in as much air as she could.
“No one said that you have to tie it. The billowing look may be good for you. Turn around.”
She was so busy trying to cool herself down that Seikō obeyed mindlessly by twirling on the balls of her feet. The hoari soared around her. That helped a lot. “Yes,” she gushed, “This is so much better.” Her hair was rolled up into a bun. It was all about presentation but as soon as the meeting was over, she planned to undo it in one smooth motion. “What about you? Are you ready?”
Nikki nodded with a sizeable grin plastered onto a face. As the seconds passed, her figure began to fade. “I’m at your ready always. You will do well.” With a final smile, the spirit faded away completely.
Seikō did not have to look down to see the glint of sunshine as it returned to the heart of the glass rod stuck in her boot. “Okay, let’s go.” None of the appliances had been turned on so there was nothing to turn off. Simply, she readjusted her clothes and walked over to the front set of double doors. All three levels of her whole home were soaked in early morning sunshine and it could not have made her any happier. Literally, she skipped out of her house and down the stairs to meet the dirt road below. Knowing that she had to make up for lost time, the young woman did not take any pleasure in her journey from her Division’s Grounds to that of the Ichibantai. Everyone else seemed to be asleep and she had no worries that they would go about their daily routines unaffected by her lack of presence there. She had made sure to become acquainted with the members of her Division during the last few days. As the latest Captain of their grouping, trust and loyalty were their greatest assets. Plus, they had been without one for so long; they did not require her directive to know what needed to be done. She greeted people as she walked, but nothing extensive. She was at the double doors of the Captain’s Meeting Hall in less than twenty minutes. The guards pushed them into an open state for her, in time for the words of Misawa Zatoichi to reach her ears. Obviously, she had no idea about the reason for needing people to stay and to protect the Sereitei, but she was pretty sure that she existed. Her footsteps sounded throughout the expansive hall until she stopped. The heavy doors closed behind her promptly and she bowed in line of the Captain Commander. Upon rising from the waist, she stated clearly for her words to reach him, “First, I apologize for my tardiness to you, Jermaine-Taichō, and I extend that apology to my fellow Captains." With her back straightened, she took to the right side of the Commander and walked up the side behind the line of Captains there until she was next to Misawa himself. Without looking at him, she said words meant specifically for him, “For those who do not know, I am Hashimoto Seikō, Yonbantai-Taichō. Can someone inform me of the situation that inspired this meeting, please?” She stood at attention, but relaxed. Her hands were clasped behind her back and her hoari was open still to reveal a knee-length dress and her favorite pair of black boots. There was a slight smirk on her face and raised eyebrows. She was waiting quite expectantly for a response.

A woman appeared in the captain's meeting hall out of now where. Her long gray hair and with bright red eyes had stood out on this woman. Walking up she stood in her place as the captain of squad 10." I am sorry that I am late everyone, I am Yuki Caelum the new captain of squad ten," Her tone was cold and emotionless. She slightly bowed and then stood straight," But yes. If the higher ranks go to the world of the living , who knows. They might just step into a trap that they had planed out. I say that let some captains and lieutenants go to the world of the living and some take their stand here. Head Commander it is of course still your call. I for one would go to the world of the living as one of those captains if you wish...." Yuki kept her tone the same through out her speech. ✹
...I am afraid that my time will be up before I find my place on this place⊀❖
Jermaine had paused to think about what Central 46 had told him. Sending all the Captains and Lieutenants would greatly overpower the enemy, if there was one to even encounter. Doing that would also have its consequences for the Soul Society. He was about to voice he decision, but Caleb voiced his first. He made a good point about sending the others and staying. It was true that the two of them did have the best combinations out of any of the other Captains and they had the most experience fighting together. When Yui added on to Caleb's opinion, the young Commander thought of two people who would be great at protecting the Soul Society, if they did deploy all Captains and Lieutenants.
As he was about to reply to Caleb and his Lieutenant, Khairan voice his opinion as well. It was true that the Soul Society was lacking in powerful Shinigami, but there was always a back up plan. At this point the young Commander already thought of the Captains he was going to deploy to the World of the Living. He knew every Captains power and abilities because of the Captaincy Test. The ones he thought of sending would be perfect, considering the situation. He decided to keep quiet and listen to the other Captains express their concern with the plan.
It was a good choice too because Zatoichi had made some good points as well. The Soul Society would most likely be destroyed, if worst taken over. That's something the young Commander could not and would not let happen. Planning to send Zatoichi anyway, he looked towards the entrance door. As he looked at the door, he was a little surprised to see the Captain of Division Two talk. The Misawa family members never really interacted with others outside of their family. To see one of them socially interacting with others was good. It showed how the Misawa family was changing. Even if it was just one family member. Unfortunately, there were a few things about the Dazimagie family that would probably never change. Although, the young Commander planned on trying to change that.
He could sense that another Captain level Shinigami was headed towards the meeting room. He listened to Deborah, but he was just further proving everyone's point. Watching as the doors opened, he starred down the super late Captain. He was prepared to scold the female, but when she apologized, he ignored her tardiness. This would also nullify Zatoichi's statement at their not being a Captain of Division Four and shortly after was Yuki. "It's okay, Seikō and Yuki. . . Since this is the first meeting, I'm giving everyone some slack, but if anyone is late for a meeting in the future. Be prepared for drastic and most likely a life threatening consequence." As he spoke, his voice was as serious as ever. Everyone better have made sure they were on time or they would face the consequences.
"Seikō and Yuki, I was about to correct myself, but all the Captains quickly voice their opinions before I was done. I'm glad everyone is speaking up, but I hadn't yet asked for anyone's concerns. As I said before a powerful spiritual pressure has appeared in the World of the Living and its strongly believed the it is the Ouken. So Central 46, being as rash as ever, told me that the best course of action was to spend all Captains and Lieutenants to retrieve it..." He paused for a minute. "Obviously I was not planning on doing that in the first place. It's one of the most outrageous ideas that could have ever come out of their mouth. And on top of all that, they planned on trying to force my father out of retire meant just to protect the Soul Society while I was gone..." He paused again. "That's obviously not going to happen either. So I am going to send a team of people to gather information. I already have you picked out as well. Division Captains Two, Four and Ten, as well as my Lieutenant are being sent to the World of the Living...Any complaints or objections with who I am sending?

SpacerYui listened to the opinions of the other Captains present, but before that he quickly summarised what happened so far in the meeting for the newer arrivals. "The Commander has simply explained the rough outline and reason behind our soon arrival into the Real World. The Central 46 believes it to be the Ouken." Brief but the Commander had been brief himself. Although Yui didn't really know this new 2nd Division Captain, he understood what the man meant but allowing just him and his division to investigate would be disaster, rather could be disastrous. Clearly the others didn't understand the possible, and imminent disaster that may occur if the Ouken was to land in the wrong hands.
SpacerBut on the lighter note, Yui decided that these men and women were logical, and did possess that attribute of a Captain however people must be flexible, different situations call for different approaches. Out of somewhat desperation, Yui sent a look to Jermaine that clearly conveyed his thoughts, If the Ouken was to land in our enemies hands there would be no Soul Society to defend. Of course, he left out the hidden powers that will possibly play a huge role in this event either way. Upon hearing that he himself was being sent to the Real World, Yui had a moment of mixed feelings. He needed to his real job, which was to keep an eye on Soul Society as a whole so he replied, "Sorry but I believe it's wise if I were to stay in the second team. It's out of place but it's my duty to prioritize your safety over other things, as your lieutenant." Spacer
