One thing that cheesed me off about the first game was having to choose between Kratos and Zelos at the end. The worst thing was that Zelos had to die if you didn't choose him, whereas Kratos was only hurt.
I love them both, why are we continually being forced to kill or critically wound them?! I HATES IT!! scream
My pet peeve of the 2nd game was the inability to run around the map. Not only does that add to the whole world, but it was a great source of leveling up for me in the first game. No, instead I am forced to hole up in dungeons until I'm strong enough to take on the next boss. T3T
I also didn't like Richter. For a main character, he's pretty under-developed. And his dialogue...it stinks. Not to mention he was a complete Kratos rip-off.

Evilweirdo 0 Also, Regal: 1. Self-defense. 2. Request of victim. Seriously. In the manga, they also state Alicia was KILLING people in Altamira. Not just a danger to Regal and herself, she was also causing causalities among civilians.

Maybe they'll remake it for a newer system in a few years and give you the option to get both? /wishful thinking

If Kratos haven't left in Derris Kharlan, and became a playable character in Dawn, I'd have me an All-Swordsmen Party. xd (Emil, Lloyd, Kratos, Zelos)

Yokai Yakuza Mines from tos dawn of a new world Gladshiem!! Hardest part ever! Not a big enough payoff in the end either. That one took me hours to beat. x.x Especially since you could easily get lost in there. No map or anything.

I have quite a bit of hate here, so please don't think too badly of me.
-- Kratos' entire characterization.
I'll admit, I hate all of the Seraphim for different reasons (e.g. Yuan probably doing nothing like Kratos for thousands of years, Martel refusing to accept Tabitha as a body in the past so she could knock some sense into Mithos, and Mithos for trying to play God with people's lives).
He took part in an organization that was slowly killing the world, and did nothing. He falls in love, becomes redeemed, and has a child to complete his happy little family. When he loses them because the very organization he part created / allowed to be created, murdered them - he returns with his tail between his legs. He's never straightforward, tries to keep an emotional blockade even as he is in the very act of betraying them all, and never ever says what needs to be said. He is always purposely antagonistic and apart from him collecting material for the ring of eternal swordsmanship, he does nothing of value. Then at the end of the series, he just flies away on Deris Kharlan to do his job, and then eventually commit suicide and that sounds delightful to think about. mad It is for these reasons that I hate having him around.
Okay, done. gonk
I also hated the entire plot and side-quest concepts of DotNW. Romance was overbearing, Lloyd tried to emulate the wrong father, and Trix are for kids food is for your replaceable monster team.

Mmm. From what I can remember about the game...
...well. There's nothing I dislike actually. I guess I just wish there the cast was more fleshed out and had more screen time; I loved how the characters were presented. (Especially Kratos and Sheena.)

all. of. tales. of. symphonia. dawn. of. the. new. world.
i honestly felt as though it could have been so much cooler had it not been a sequel to tales of symphonia. the way the first game ended, it made so much sense to just leave it at that, with an open-ending for fans to write and be creative about. the sequel just made a bunch of nonexistent connections to the original. as a sequel to tales of smyphonia, i hated it more than i hate spiders. if it was a game all on its own, i would probably like it a lot more.
