Siianna smiled and shrugged "Guess it just depends on my mood. I've been known to use all three." She giggled as her rustled through his papers, happy that he was happy with the situation.
She smoothed her skirt again getting ready to excuse herself since he seemed to want to read. Tucking a stray hair back she looked at him slightly shocked " Oh I don't want to interrupt your whole day, you seemed excited to read." She paused for a moment before a thought hit her. " I know it's raining but how would you like to go outside and enjoy the rain? I know a drying charm we can use when we're done."
She was already plotting the best way to get around the teachers and enjoy her stroll. She hated being inside and if the rain stopped Francis' allergies he might enjoy getting out too.

Francis could see that she was starting to go when his question stopped her. He was surprised that he had shocked her. Did she have other things to do? He waited to hear her answer.
"Well I have the whole day for reading." he replied as she paused. "So if there's something you want to do just tell me."
Francis was a bit taken aback when she suggested going out in the rain. He nearly objected to it right of the bat but then paused and thought about it. Sure it would be cold, and he'd probably get really wet and damp but she said she knew a drying charm that would help in the end. It wasn't like the rain would cause him that many problems either. Sure, his clothes would need to be cleaned and and they might get muddy but that was an easy fix. For the first time in his life, Francis decided getting muddy wouldn't be a bad thing.
"Sure, that sounds like it could be fun. I"ll need to stash these in my dorm room first. Want to walk with me?"

Siianna smiled and clapped her hands lightly excited. " Be happy to go with you. Want me to carry some of these for you?"" After all she'd hate for him to over stack the books and trip on someone or run into anything. Plus with her helping they can go a bit faster and get outside.
Her hand drifted up to her pendent and caressed it gently at the thought of being back outside. " I know the perfect route for avoiding teachers and other students once you're ready to go outside." Oh this was going to be so much fun! she could hardly contain her excitement.
She could already smell the wet grass and the rain. Berating herself in her head she turned back to her companion. He probably wouldn't want to go any place too muddy so they'd have to circle around a few spots but that's okay, they were just getting out for awhile no need to rush any one place.

Francis was stunned by the sudden loud noise of Siiana clapping her hands. "Umm..sure, You can carry those ones." he replied pointing to the stack closest to her. He pulled his now packed bag onto his shoulder and then grabbed the rest of the books and held them protectively against his chest.
"Okay, then lead the way." he replied with a small smile as he stood up and waited for her to show him the way.
He wondered what she was thinking about with that dreamy expression on her face. She seemed really happy.
"What were you thinking about right now?" he asked curiously.

Siianna grabbed the stack of books tightly and almost skipped out of the library. Turning back once or twice to make sure he was following. She blushed slightly as he mentioned her thoughts. " Oh! I was just thinking of being outside again. I get quite restless when inside too long. And with all this rain, I haven't been outside in a while."
She smiled over at the boy having moved to walk beside him to talk. Oh they'd have so much fun. Maybe she'd take him to her favorite spot by the lake. Or to see where the rabbits had their nest. " When you do go outside what do you like to do?" That might be the best way to decide what to go explore first.

Francis wondered why the girl kept looking back at him. Did she think he'd run off on her? He couldn't really do that when she had half of his books. He was surprised to see her blush at his question.
He held his groan inside, as she began to talk about being outside. So she was one of THOSE people. He sighed and shifted his bag a little, as it was digging into his shoulder cruelly.
"Ah, I see. Well at least you'll be going out soon." he offered with a shrug of his shoulders as they neared the Gryffindor Common Room.
He shifted a bit uncomfortably when she moved over to walk closer to him. Why was it people always insisted on being so close to talk? He'd started noticing that a lot of kids spat when they spoke and he had started to avoid standing next to them. He didn't know yet if Siianna was a spat or not. He rather hoped she didn't.
"Usually I am trying to keep from sneezing my nose off." He replied truthfully. "I have really bad allergies to pretty much everything outside."

Siianna's almost permanent smile wavered. His allergies kept him inside? And here she was going on about going out, that probably upset him a lot. " That stinks. I'm sorry about going on about it. I do have a few indoor exploring spots too if you'd prefer."
Siianna didn't spit when she talked having been raised the way she was. Siianna stepped forward and politely gave the password and stepped inside. She took a deep breath loving the homey smell within. "I'll hold on to these and you can come back for them after you drop those off."
Siianna really didn't have any intention of entering the boys' side. That was one place she'd gladly leave unexplored.

Francis was a bit surprised to see her cheery face waver. Had he actually made her sad or upset? When she spoke he was surprised that it was him she had been thinking of. "oh well..I'm used to it. The professors tend to make me go out even though I try to explain that it doesn't do me any good. No, it's fine we can go out, I'm curious to see what it's like to go out in the rain. Though I think I may grab my raincoat before we head out." He replied.
Francis was relieved that she didn't spit, and decided if he'd have to pair up with someone he'd more than likely choose her. She seemed nice enough, and was rather pleasant company. "Okay, thanks. I appreciate it." He replied following her into the Gryffindor Common Room. "Give me a few minutes to put these away and grab my rain gear." He replied disappearing into the boy's dorms.
He raced up the steps balancing the precariously stacked books as best as he could. He carefully placed the books onto his bed and went over to throw his trunk open. He moved his cloaks around and located his rain coat and his boots. He pulled them out, and then carefully placed the books into the trunk. Then he pulled the boots over his shoes and grabbed the rain coat up and raced back down the stairs and back into the Gryffindor Common room.
He laid the rain coat onto the back of a chair next to Siiana and then took the books from her. "Thanks for holding these, I'll be right back." Then he dashed back up the stairs and added them to the rest of the books in his trunk and closed the lid. Then he dashed back to join Siianna back in the Common Room. "Okay, let's go then!" He said feeling rather eager to explore the Rainy afternoon.

Siianna shook her head, sometimes the teachers didn't know as much as they proclaimed. She only shook her head feeling frustrated that even the teachers could be bullies like that. Shaking her thoughts she smiled and leaned against a chair as Francis took the first stack of books up to his room.
She smiled and nodded to a few housemates as she waited for him. She noted he seemed more upbeat when he returned. She handed him his books carefully knowing how much he liked them. And this time when he returned he looked truly excited to go exploring. " Ok!" She paused long enough for him to get his coat and dashed off out of the tower. She slowed long enough to make sure the portrait didn't slam on their way out. " So anyplace you really want to go check out? It's your day out in the rain after all!"

Francis felt a little strange about actually going out in the rain. For so long he had avoided going out in it, unless it couldn't be avoided. But to go out intentionally seemed rather odd. He felt a smile spread across his face as he followed Siiana out of their Common room.
He was rather taken aback when she asked him if there was a particular place he wanted to go. He really had no clue. Seeing as he avoided the outdoors as much as he could he really had no idea what there was on the Hogwart's grounds.
"Umm..I haven't really spent all that much time out there. What are some areas that you think would be fun to check out? It may be my day and all..but I haven't a clue where to start!" He said with a laugh.

Siianna looked over at Francis and smiled brightly when she saw him smile. " Well how about we go check out the lake first!" She waved her hand and turned left at the next turn and headed for the doors outside.
" Do you like reading about any specific kind of animal or anything?" Maybe if she found out what kind of things he liked reading about she could figure out the best places to take him. Her ears picked up the sound of foot stops and grabbed his hand and yanked him to the side. She held a finger up to her mouth and made a small shh sound.
Within a few moments a teacher could be seen coming down the hall. Siianna flattened herself into the shadows and motioned for Francis to do the same.

Francis rather liked the idea of seeing the lake when it was raining. He imagined that it would look really cool to see the rain fall and cause little ripples to spread out across the normally still water. "Sure, that sounds like a good place to start." He said eagerly mirroring her bright smile.
Francis wondered why she had waved her hand, he shrugged and followed her down the hall. The hallways were unusually quiet, making Francis wonder what the other kids were up to. It was strange for the hallways to be so silent..perhaps the weather had caused the other kids to become morose and depressed.
"Well I like frogs, and birds." Francis replied wondering why she had asked. "I have a frog familiar called Horace. I'll have to introduce you sometime." He added.
Francis was rather startled when she suddenly grabbed his hand and yanked him to the side. He nearly protested being touched but noticed her "Shh" motion and stayed silent. Why was she wanting him to be quiet? A moment later he heard footsteps and then saw a teacher coming down the hallway. His eyes widened and he followed Siianna's example and flatted himself in the shadows.
A few moments later the teacher had passed by and the both of them could relax.
"Whew, that was a close one." He said wiping his forehead which had broken out in a sudden sheen of sweat.
He looked down at his hand, which was still clasped in the Siianna's hand. A small smile tugged at the corner of his mouth and he swung her arm a little. "Come on," He said pulling her after him towards the side door that led out to the Hogwart's grounds. "Let's make a dash for it or we'll get caught."

Siianna nodded, that had been really close. And she wasn't sure she liked it all that well. At his small smile she beamed, nothing pleased her more then bringing a smile to another's face. At his swinging her hand she blushed slightly but was happily tugged out the door. "Dashing it is!" She giggled and ran next to him taking turns to tug and be tugged as she guided them to the lake.
