"Alright" Logan said as the women started to walk away. "And what about you up there?" he asked the elf that was in the tree as he looked up to her. "Do you intent to stay up there or do you not understand what I am saying." Anyone would have over looked the elf that was a good ways up the tree. If his eyes didn't catch a leaf falling and followed it back up the tree then he would have missed her.

Personality: Forgetful and humorous (sometimes at the expense of others), he tries to be outgoing and friendly so as not to upset people. He has a short temper that's set off by dishonorable behaviour. Despite his airy demeanour, he stays focused when it matters and he doesn't give up once he sets himself a goal.

Appearance: Sorry, no picture! Human, average height and a lean, muscular build. Pale skin, messy brown hair, wide eyes and always the hint of a smile on his face. He wears a brown leather vest and leggings, and a grey fur jacket over the vest with the front left open. He also wears thick boots and large gauntlets. On his back he carries a large sword, almost his own height and half his width.

Skills: Having trained with greatswords from a young age, he wields his blade with ease and his fighting style uses both wide and close swings to be effective in all surroundings. He is skilled in hand-to-hand combat, and the chunky design of his metal gauntlets make his punches even more deadly. He is also trained to survive in the wild: hunting, finding food and water, and setting up a safe camp.

Story: Noel lived with his parents in a small village between the city and the forest. His father was a previously an army scout and he trained his son to fight and to survive (while always surprised by Noel's choice of weapon). Noel always had a thirst for adventure, and from the age of 15 he has been taking freelance quests that lead him all across the country, returning to the city every few months to take another job.

Story: Rune was a very energetic kid while growing up. His father trained him to become a theif and assassin. However, his father left without warning of where he went. Hoping to prove himself and to have his father hear of him, he enters the tournament for the new Champion, hoping to make his father proud of what he has learned over the years.

Logan had heard the elves talking before, but he didn't understand the language. He caught glances of elves before, but they stayed away from him. This was his first time seeing one up close. He said "So I take it that you don't speak my language. Right?"

Noel arrived, exhausted, at the edge of the Elven Forest. However, he couldn't sleep before setting up camp. Wandering slowly into the forest, still panting for breath, he found a suitable tree; spaced too far from other trees to jump between them, and too smooth to be easily climbed. Summoning the little strength he had left, he ran, jumped, kicked off the tree, and caught hold of the lowest branch. He pulled himself up and moved in above the trunk. After lodging his blade between two branches to block the way up, he settled into the small space and quickly fell asleep.

Logan was quiet a moment before saying "You don't speak my language but you understand it?" He believed that to be the case but he wasn't sure. To him the Elvin language was a unknown that he didn't understand, although it had a very nice singing sound to it.

Logan thought for a moment, he was thinking of what he had to do. He knew the forest okay, but an elf would no doubt know more than he. He said "I am going to be passing through the forest. I am heading up towards the northern mountains, will you help me get there safely?"
