Chael continued on, feeling like the road could go on forever. It was getting a little late. Picking up his pace he decided he's get his badge tomorrow after sleeping at the Pokemon Center. Or sleep in the woods, but there weren't bandits in the Pokecenter. He wondered what the gym leader was like. Maybe like Falkner? Just less idolization with their father. Well there better be less of that, it got annoying after a while! Most people did but in truth he just didn't like people. That was why he didn't join in with the trainers he had passed earlier. They were probably still on Route 1, laying about.

Post 20 Chael could see the sign to route 1 in the distance. Only a few more yards and he'd be at the halfway point. His resolute grew stronger as he could imagine his first badge in his grasp. It was as good as his. Tsuki yawned as he lowered his head. Rolling his eyes, Chael put the Eevee in his backpack, leaving it a bit open for air to ventilate. His other Pokemon were fine for the moment. True this day had been adventure filled but it wouldn't end soon. They still had a ways to go. Coming from Starting Out Newbie Route 1 -> Route 1 Alex started running into the grass looking for another pokemon. He didn't really care which one he found at the moment as he would either catch it or have the Spearow fight it so that it would hopefully start to listen to him. It took him a minute or two of searching to find something that moved the grass that wasn't him but when he did he sloooooowly crept over to it to see what it was. It was a sleeping Bidoof. Alex stared at it. He didn't like it. It didn't look smart enough to do anything and the ones that he had seen back home were little more then pests. It would be the perfect thing to train the bird on. Being as quiet as possible Alex opened the Spearow's pokeball and pointed to the sleeping beaver. The Spearow didn't even bother flying over to it and just walked up and started pecking it on the head. The Bidoof couldn't do much except get up and try to jump away before the bird had pecked at it enough to knock it out. It didn't seem to like that pokemon either. Post 21 Chael continued walking and soon foud himself at the Route 1 sign. He was halfway back to Blyse City. He gave himself the time to sigh. His Pokemon were currently sleepy so he returned them all, save Tsuki who remained in his backpack. So they wouldn't gain the proper amount of experience. That as a caution he walked on. Post 22 Chael passed the other new trainer, without even giving him a glance. At the moment this trainer looked unarmed and Pokemonless but he had 5 on him at the moment. The other boy had 2 by the looks of it, and not as strong as his. A Totodile jumped from his Pokeball in his pocket. It had scars all over his body but had a wild grin. His Pokemon wanted out and so he sent the other three out. His Ratatta, Timburr, and Blitzle as his Totodile was already out. His Eevee, however, was resting in his backpack. At least the Spearow wasn't attacking him right now. That was an improvement. Alex watched the bird wondering if it would look for something else to fight, and he turned out to be right in the worst possible way. It was another trainer and started flying towards him. Alex was able to get it back in its pokeball before it got halfway there though. "SORRY!" He yelled as he waved to the person.

Post 23 Chael played it off as it he didnt even notice. A nearby patch of grass shuffled and a Poochyena barked at him, charging as he did so. He admired it's up front ness but a dark type would soon enough join their team and he didn't require another. Argos leapt and backhanded it, giving the dog a taste of his claws as a Scratch. The gators eyes opened wide as his heart raced. Chael, nudged his back with his left foot, getting his Totodile out of the trance. Argos love violence and Chael needed to keep that in check. A Feraligator was a strong and fierce reptile. So he'd had to prepare Argos to control his bloodlust before it got out of hand. The Poochyena ran towards Argos now but Fear, a female Ratatta used Quick Attack and defended her reptilian friend. This mut was putting up a real fight, something Chael craved. However it was wounded and thus is ran away, tail between it's paws. "Well," the trainer said to his first two Pokemon ", you guys are getting more useful, eh? We'll get to Genesia in no time." Then he rubbed Fear's back as he walked on the route to Blyse City. An Eevee's head popped out of his backpack and waved towards Alex. Well that was good. The person didn't seem to mind. If the Spearow got to him it might have been a bigger problem but Alex was glad that it was just a small bird right now. He still had to train it before it would listen to him. Lin didn't seem to have that problem, but that probably why it was one of the starter pokemon. There were probably starter pokemon that didn't listen to their trainers, but they were probably held back and not given to new people or something like that. Anyway it was time to find something else to fight, probably have Lin fight it this time so she doesn't feel left out.
The next thing that Alex found was a Pidgey. Too bad. He already had a flying type. "Alright Lin, Tackle" he said as he pointed to the bird. Lin was able to tackle the Pidgey just as it was taking off forcing it back to the ground and rolling a little. It looked around a little and started flapping it's wings obviously trying to do something, but Lin was able to tackle it again and knock it out. "Good job Lin." Alex said at he pet the otter more.

Post 24 Chael continued walking as another Poochyena jumped at him. Only this one tackled him down. Dog on his chest, Chael stared it down. It was no different than the Houndoors and Growlithes of Goldenrod City. Argos rammed into it as the dog was about to bite him. The Totodile started thrashing uncontrollably upon the Poochyena. Fear pulled him away and soon Bruce Pounded the dog with his large plank of wood. Splinters on his face, the Poochyena backed off. But not before Lizzy used Quick Attack and sent it off into another patch of grass. The boy got up and dusted himself off. Just another day as a Pokemon trainer. With that he continued on. Post 25 Soon a hiss could be heard as a Shinx jumped out at Chael. Bruce stepped up, holding his plank like a Pro baseball player. The Shonx leapt at him but the player whacked it and got a home run! Running in a large circle Bruce gave a bow to the nonexistent crowd. Who also happened to be cheering, by the way. The lion cub growled and knocked the Timburr over but he kicked it off of him and slammed his plank onto it like a golf club driver. FOUR! And thus the Shinx went flying, no, soaring across the sky. Leaning on his plank of wood, Bruce enjoyed the sight. Ah, he should have gone pro. But then he wouldn't be part cowboy with Lizzy as his steed. Post 26 Chael sat down to let his Pokemon cool down. They were fighting admirably at every turn. They all lay down, to rest for the moment. After a minute he got back up. Tsuki jumped out of the backpack, ready to walk now. About time. The Eevee had been sleeping this entire time. And thus he found out his Pokemons natures. Argos was Rash, Fear was Docile, Tsuki was Lax, Bruce was Quirky, and Lizzy was Lonely. Ta~da! A Patrat walked up to the trainer and attempted to use Tackle but was soon doused by Argos's Water Gun and was repelled back. Tsuki ran at an amazing speed, behind the Patrat and rammed into it at the same velocity as a Quick Attack! Then Lizzy used her own Quick Attack and well... the Patrat was knocked into dreamland in no time. Getting up, Chael kept at the path. Etrua Team Post 27 A Pidgey caught Chael's eye as he motioned for Argos to make a move. The Totodile aimed and shot a blast of water from his mouth at the bird, rushing all over it moments later. Forced to land the bird pecked the gator who simply used Scratch and whacked it away. It chirped angrily and pecked him again. Angry he slashed the bird once more, with a Scratch, sending it packing. Argos was certainly getting stronger. Chael wondered how such a rash Pokemon could have been placed as a starter for new trainers. Had he not been a good trainer, Argos could have seriously hurt someone by now. Luckily it was he who owned him now, instead of some babbling fool who called themselves a trainer. Patting his scaley head, he continued on to Blyse City. Post 28 Mr. Loverboy Sentret found his love, Fear, once more. Heart shaped eyes wide, he began to chase her. She had this distrusted look on her face that read 'gethimoffgethimoffgethimoff!!!' Lizzy yawned and ran into the Sentret with a simply Quick Attack. Mr. LoverBoy tried using Tackle on the zebra but he was just too darn small to do any real damage. Oh, he'd find his love alone and unaware one day! That he vowed to her! With that he ran off into a patch of grass. The boy Pokemon on the team laughed quietly to her dismay. Chael almost smiled. Almost. Well with that fiasco out of the way he walked down the route once more. Post 29 Another Shinx soon found Chael. I he had caught the last one and this one then he would have half a team of electric types. Something that would be great for getting the Aero Badge. Although he had his team set, although not in stone. The boy had learned of two dog Pokemon, Riolu and Zorua. If he could get them and evolve them, with an Espeon named Tsuki then he'd be a real force to reckon with. Although they were as rare as Eevees. And the one he had was simply by chance. Nonetheless he would capture them. That in mind someone would need to be taken off the team. Probably Lizzy, as he merely caught her for this gym. He might release her or give her to another trainer after getting the badge. Back to the Shinx, it ran to Argos, growling. Tsuki stepped in and knocked the lion cub aside with a swift Quick Attack. After a growling contest, the Shinx lunged again but at the Eevee. Playfully ducking Tsuki waited until the electric type landed to ram into in once more. Bruce whacked the feline with his wooden board as a Pound. The cat hissed as it walked away to lick its wounds. Ruffling Tsukis hair, Chael continued. He could see the town. But another Pokemon was between him and victory. It was a.... Post 30 It was none other than.... that Sentret! His eyes still huge hearts, he made endless kissy faces to Fear. She decided to step up to the occasion . Jumping over him, she rammed into his back with a Quick Attack. The Sentret laughed and called her a flirt in Poketalk. She hissed as she gave Argos the signal. The gator tackled him into a bush, it shook wildly at you could hear punches and growls. Eventually you heard a yell in pain and a wild Sentret flees the area. Argos stepped out. At least he got control of his bloodlust, letting it flee. His Pokemon looked stronger than before. They must've leveled up by the looks of it. Good.... they'd need everything they had to beat the gym leader. With that he exited Route 1 and entered Blyse City....
