Eh.. the siren was still talking about ponies and islands. Ace was uninterested in ponies, he owned plenty back at his father's estate. Every other birthday his sisters would ask for one, and the poor creatures that they forgot about he inherited.. sorta. There was a fortune to be made in the horse-racing business, which he would never officially accomplish.

Golden nails went to Ace's mouth to hide the snide grin he was feeling as Sabine entered the scene. He said nothing to her of course, why evoke the wrath of a witty vampress when watching her taunt others was plenty exciting.

Reiko was a bit surprised to be pulled into a hug, but, well, Mei's cheer was infectious, so she hugged her back.

"Oh, yes, it was simple enough to get here. I'm glad you made it alright as well," she said. She let out a little laugh at Mei's suggestions of what they might be making. "Ooh, that would be a sight to see!" She agreed. "I'm sure they're enchanted somehow...After all, I don't think we'd come all the way to the Isles of the Four Clans for mundane jewelry." She was already excited, and it was showing in the one eye that wasn't hidden by her hair.

In an effort to be as respectful as possible, Thackery pocketed his phone, assuring himself that there would be plenty of time to fill Ash in later. He didn't want to make a bad impression with on the first day - marring the family name even further would not do him any good in his aspirations to be a good guardian.

It seemed like he might be trying a little too hard, however, neglecting to socialize in favor of just standing in front of the Clan member. His wide, excited eyes couldn't seem to find a place to focus, darting from the jewelry (oh boy oh boy was he gonna make some of that?) to the clothing to the darkly painted walls. The comforting scent of incense was a little overwhelming with all of the sensory overload, but not unwelcome. Too much of a good thing couldn't be a bad thing, right?

He sneezed. Maybe so.

Tyalessa really didn't like the smell when she walked in from the portal, she couldn't place where she remembered it from, reminding her even further that she couldn't really remember anything from the moment she got to Amityville. However she did enjoy listening to the strange folk in black robes, she would like to know more about the priestesses however she took note on the fact that they wouldnt see them often. She looked around, of course seeing no one but strangers because as usual she kept to herself. She wondered if she will actually get into the great school she hears everyone talk about.

Ev looked about the dark place curiously. It certainly was intriguing, and her moths definitely enjoyed the cloak of cover. They flitted about daintily, exploring the space around the ghoul, before returning to her to perch or merely hover about. It was sad, however, that these batch of moths would be the only she'd have during the two weeks here. With her natural ability disabled, she would no longer be able to summon them... Hopefully they would even last that long. Moths didn't live long at all...

She spotted the boil she'd met during the assembly, but noted that he was engaged with a few others already. Out of courtesy, and basic manners, Ev stayed at bay so as not to interrupt, and entertained herself by continuing to investigate her new surroundings.

Tess had never been so glad or grateful that she left her lower half back in Amity. Knowing the pair of legs, Tess would be spending practically all of her time keeping that part of herself out of trouble and not upsetting anyone. Legs did as she wanted after all. She just hoped the ropes she and Sheridan had used were strong enough.

Quietly, she listened to their attendant explained the basic ground rules. Respect, huh? Hopefully no one from the Clans talked down to them on this trip. Otherwise, showing respect would become most difficult, even if Tess would hold her tongue and force a polite smile. So, so glad Legs wasn't here. But while Tess was here, she figured she could stand to expand her social network a bit. She can't always rely on Lizzy, and after that... incident she wasn't sure Lizzy would want her anymore.

Reminding herself that she was in a new environment and could have a semi-fresh start with all these unfamiliar faces (most of them anyway), she decided to introduce herself to some of the students who joined. Two particular students caught the winged ghoul's eye, a boil with canine features and an equally legless ghoul.

"Hello, my name's Maritess. Looks like we'll be taking Death's classes together."

Kettil. Ignored.

Hel turned her attention from Mitsu to the approaching demon, since that was a gesture she obviously couldn’t ignore, and hey, the crucial moments of his first impression seemed to be starting on the right track. The valkyrie gave a dip of her head in greeting to Ace. “I was.” She replied, though now she wished she hadn’t, considering how poorly their team had done. Oh well. She just needed to bury that hatchet. “Heh.” A wry smile pulled at her lips. “This isn’t a face easily forgotten.” Hel’s tone was flat, but she nodded her head once more. “Ace. I am called Hel.”

This was very interesting…all the different students here. So many new faces…

“Where do you hail from, Ace?” She was curious, and glanced over at Israfel and noted his drooping wings and nod. Yeah… “Israfel.” She replied with another solemn nod. Woah, all the new faces!

Hel blinked and turned her attention to another new ghoul that approached her, Sabine. Freaka? Okay…Hel could take the first bit as a compliment, or so she thought…then…oh hel no. A brow slowly rose and the ghoul stiffened as she just stared at her with an ‘oh no you didn’t’ look. Man. Not even here for fifteen minutes, and she was being set up for an outburst already!

“I think you are a bit turned around as well, friend.” Hel started. “You see, when you entered the gates to Amityville, instead of taking a left, you should have taken a right. That was where the Red Lantern District was.”

Linking arms with Reiko, the small ghoul gave her an excited grin. "Great! Maybe we'll find something super interesting while we're here. Who knows?"

Her mood only brightened as Morrigan decided to join them. Un-linking her arm from Reiko's she knelt down to pat the Mimic gently on top of...well what would you call it? The top of it's box? Certainly not head...it didn't really have a head to pat. Upon standing back up, she straightened out her kimono and brushed back a few strands of dark hair that had fallen over her eyes. "Not at all, Morrigan. Reiko and I would be happy for you to join us. Always good to have another friend in a place so different and unknown."

She made an 'o' shape with her lips before letting out a little giggle. "My name is Meixiang, but you can call me Mei. It seems to be easier for most people to address me with the shortened version instead of trying to stumble about in pronouncing my full name."
