"No sense in leaving a mess. I'm sure we can finish this thing off before we figure out what's behind all of this."
Nadia smirked as she spoke, the slightest bit of bloodlust running through her normally innocent veins as she contemplated the destruction of the vine before her in response to the fact that it was terrorizing her team; her actions and thoughts completely justified by the fact that she was working off of pure defensive instinct. Now that she stepped up and was expected to take charge alongside her brother, it was the little statements like this that kept her going, kept her aware that they were fully functional as a team and deserved the titles and recognition that they held. No overgrown plant was going to threaten their peace in this sense. Aidan, although more in the mindset of just abandoning the room entirely and heading off to get to the source of the problem along with strengthening their power with numbers, had no reason to argue with his sister. After all, she was the one to get a hit in on the monstrosity and if she feels as if it reacted to her blow in a way that hinted towards it being susceptible to pain and, from there, defeat, then he may as well just pitch in his own efforts also. The fact was taken into consideration also that the damn thing had caught him off guard in his sleep and singled him out for a beating before he could even react. Now was different though. Now he was on his feet and ready to fight back. The plan from here on out was simple enough. Strike quick and retreat without casualty. Their lithe ways compensated for their lack of caution as the duo took their revenge in near perfect symmetry. An Ice Punch from Nadia stunning the tendril momentarily before it attempted to lash out wildly, only managing to snap at thin air as she had already retreated. In her place a Fire Punch from her brother was to follow, striking at the exact same place her own attack landed. Clearly the vine was showing fatigue by this point, it's thick, waxy, skin both singed and frosted in places. With a quick wash, rinse, and repeat of their respective attacks, the twins had felled the enemy; the vine retreating back through the floorboards from which it came, too injured to continue its terrorizing.
Meanwhile, another sect of their team was finishing up with their own troubles. Aidian and Nadia were to arrive on the scene just in just enough time to watch the finishing of yet another vine that was troubling their rooms. At least from the looks of things they would be able to leave out in a larger group now rather then being separated like what was previously expected. That and there were thankfully no casualties from this unforeseen attack; always something good to take note of for any team owner.
"I'll hold 'em still. Just work on making salad out of this thing as quick as possible. I have the feeling we're not even close to dealing with the actual enemy here. This is just a warning shot; the entire guild is under attack."
Ein spoke aloud of his sensing of a more ominous presence having a hand in what all was happening now before he unleashed a Psychic attack upon the enemy. It being understood that he wasn't insinuating that he would be holding the damn thing down by hand or anything; rather if the vine were to have any sort of feeling, its figure would be crashing in on itself under the completely covered and suffocating sensation of the Celebi's Psychic attack. This being followed up, per request, by consecutive Shadow Ball and Night Slash attacks from the two canines in the immediate area, one of which had to come to his senses before contributing to the cause rather than continuing to cower in fear from the monstrosity before him.
With the two vines troubling the team down for the moment, they collectively assumed it safe to move on, retreating out into the nearest corridors which lead them into the company of many other guildians who were also free from their perils but more than willing to help others in need.

(No more vines~)

Eros + Isis + Nephthys

Eros gasped as he dodged yet another vine, this was just pure madness! Seriously! He had just redecorated the room too...
...What? He can decorate...yeah. He then squeaked as he dodged the vine again, "Quit trying to get to my tendrils!" He yelled out as he dodged.
It was then he faltered for a bit as he had gotten pushed aside by Isis, "What the he-" As luck would have it, he was grabbed....by the tendrils....of course.

Isis blinked as she saw their team leader get hoisted up by the vines, she growled and opened her mouth before hitting the vine with a Dragonbreath attack.

The vine twisted as Eros was quickly getting dizzy from being spun around, "So-somebody...nngh...get this off...m-me...." He squeaked squirming at the vine holding his tendril 'hair'.

Nephthys then frowned as she beat her wings as hard as she could as slicing gusts of Air Cutter sliced the vine to pieces.

Eros gasped as he floated steadily...blushing heavily, "...Ok...Everyone! As soon as you are done with those vines! Let's get out of this room!" He commanded before ducking out of the ruined room with his two team mates, he idly wondered where the heck they'd have to go to...but somewhere was better than here.

Aphrodite + Lilith + Iris "Skittles"

Aphrodite wasted no time in hitting the vine with a surge of Brine as she watched the vine writhe, "Like come on! We gotta like get out of here, ya know?"

Lilith nodded as she finished charging her Solar Beam and hit the vine with it, which put a hole in the wall opposite them but at the same time obliterated that vine, "...Zere ve did it." She said in her heavily accented way.

Iris just looked at the room as he/she shivered at the chaos, "I don't like this...Can we go now? It's....nnnnn...." She/he said very quietly with just a hint of fear in his/her voice.
The other two nodded as they joined Eros, Isis and Nephthys in the hall.

Anubis + Heimdall + Hestia

Anubis cackled as he launched himself at the vine and hitting it with a Blaze Kick, "Oh this is too much fun! Can we go ruin something else hmm~" He said with an insane giggle, "It would be just wondrous~ Hehehehehehehee!"
Heimdall just frowned at his teammate as he shook his head, it worried him how reckless Anubis had gotten recently, ever since he was possessed by that Nincada, it's just gotten...weird. He'd talk to himself a lot and just watch everyone with insane eyes...He was just weird. Like he was glitched or something, he then noticed the vine looking to be on it's last 'legs' and sighed as he said a quick prayer before hitting it with a Secret Power attack.

Hestia glanced worriedly at Heimdall as she patted him on the 'shoulder' and gave him a warm smile, "Come on Heimdall...We should get going hm?" She said playing with her rosary some as she grabbed him by the 'hand' and rushed outside with everyone else.

Heimdall just smiled, "Yes sister Hestia."

The room was in shambles but otherwise no one was really injured...

(( No vines left~ They are willing to help if needed! <3 ))

Solaris---Barcel---Scarlet

Solaris gave a wail of despair, hanging upside from his tail from the ceiling where the vines bunched together and coiled into one thick mass of writhing plants. This had to be an Elite, the last one as well. The Grass Type Elite.
His mind reeled at this new information as it processed. They had not been prepared for this!

[Scarlet and Barcel are not there yet.]

(Anyone who did the OC MEME in the Art Forum, the Pokemon you did it for may be present in the battle but they can not fight as they will be restrained by the vines. They just get to watch the chaos. And no, they don't get HP or take damage either.)

Fiorin --- Evelyn --- Alec---Chase---Atreyu
30/30 ---25/25 --- 25/25 --- 30/30 --- 75/75

Harley was shouting orders before anyone could even realize what was happening, at her side the black and red Vulpix that was her second in command said nothing but swiftly nodded with each barking order she gave.
Get the children out of here, send the rest of the team to investigate. It was all fairly straight forward.
"Harley, you and I are the fastest." Kit finally said, nudging her to claim her attention. "Let's get Cheshire and the others out of here and come back. Fiorin can take Alec and Evelyn to the main hall to see what's happening."
"I agree, the children come first." The green cheeked Pikachu declared, pushing up Jethro to his feet and shoving the little Pichu over towards where the other children gathered near the door.
The Mightyena gave a growl, both in confirmation and annoyance. She had wanted to fight, but she saw the truth behind her team mates suggestions. A good leader knew when to hold her tongue.
"Alright, we'll be back. Be careful."
The Pikachu nodded, behind him Alec and Evelyn gave a nod of their own before the team split apart and took different routes, Harley and Kit with the kids on their backs made for the opposite end of the guild to find an escape route. Fiorin lead the others to the main hall and where the disturbance possibly waited for them...

A flash of blue and white shattered the front door of the guild, though no one cared at this point as the floor had already been ripped apart with an Earthquake as something large pushed it's way to the surface.
"We're too late!" The familiar Furret on the pale Rapidash's back declared upon seeing the beaked head of a Torterra break the surface of the ground.
....a very large....very scary...Torterra.
"Artix, go! Send for back up!" The fire type nodded to the order and turned to dash back out the door when a massive vine swung down directly overtop him. There would be no surviving that, fire type or not.
"ARTI-" The Furret's scream was drowned out by a rumbling crash as the massive Grass Type pushed it's hulking shell up through the ground.
"You b*****d!" The normal type hissed, a fire punch swirling around his fist and he thrust it forward toward one of the writhing masses.

Cronus
'Duis comedentis'

Vine Count: 500/500

Cronus can not be fought directly! There are too many vines blocking the path to him! You'll need to take them all out to make an opening, but be careful...you can't hurt him...but he can hurt you.

Point your face in this direction and you'll see a new post in the FAQ regarding the HP system.
(Please ignore the 'WIP' at the top. I'm just finishing some codes for it.)
Take your time with this. Cronus will not be attacking until next turn where he gets his own post, so take advantage of having the preemptive strike!

For your reference, this is a Torterra, therefor:
Ground, Rock = Half damage. (Ex...Roll a two and you get a one)
Flying, Bug, Fire = Double Damage (Ex...Roll a two and get a four)
Ice = Quadruple damage! (Ex...Roll a two get an eight!)
Electricity = No Damage
All other attacks are regular damage.

As an example I have Atreyu attacking once...since his attack is Fire type it will be double the amount I rolled.
You will roll a single dice for EACH POKEMON you have that is fighting.
(Edit: Whoot! 16 damage :3)

Eros + Isis + Nephthys

15/15

As Team Olympus gathered close together as the guild rumbled again, possibly from some vines? ....Was that an earthquake?
Eros frowned as he looked around, "Where.....where should we go?" The ghost type asked Isis, who just glared at him.
"As if I would know dear leader!" Isis snarked, trying very hard to keep her emotions in check, sure she was scared...that was only normal, not like anyone else had to know that though.
Nephthys just buzzed slightly concerned for the welfare of the team...not to mention the constant rumblings he felt in the guild, was it a mistake for her to join?

...Hopefully not.

Eros sighed as he looked around, "Well....Let's go to the main hall! We usually gather there when stuff goes down!"
Isis blinked, that was actually a good idea, "Wow Eros. I'm impressed."
Eros just glared at his co-leader, "Ok! Let's get going everyo-"

Just then Eros was cut off due to a vine that shot out of the wall to wrap around him, "Nngh! Ge-get this! Wh-what?!" He was then pulled into the wall the vine burst out of as the rest of the team stared in shock at what happened.

Isis blinked, "That....was....wow..."

Aphrodite + Lilith + Iris "Skittles"

15/15 15/15 15/15

Iris' eye's widened as he/she saw his/her 'mother' figure Eros get taken away by vines, "....Mo-mom? Where did....Daddy! Where did Mommy Eros go! Wh-what went...." The rainbow Ponyta was about ready to burst into tears.
Aphrodite, noticing this, quickly floated over the child Pokemon, "It's totally alright. He's like totally fine I'm sure....alright?" She said trying to comfort Iris.
Iris just nodded and sniffled a bit more, at least until they heard a scream and saw Isis get picked up by a vine and taken away in the same fashion as Eros.
Aphrodite just gaped at this, "....LIKE OH MY CRAP!"

Iris' tears meanwhile returned as she hiccuped before just bursting into tears, "Mommy and daddy were taken away!" He/She then just crumpled on the floor, now very much scared and panicking about the sudden departure of Eros and Isis.

Aphrodite just awkwardly pat the Ponyta's head with a fin. This was going to be a problem.
Lilith meanwhile was shocked at the disappearance of Isis, this was not right! She then glared at the wall, "Chto za huy! GIVE VACK MY MOM YOU SOOKIN SYN!" She swore in her Russian tongue.
Whoever took Isis was so going to die! If she had anything to say about it.

Anubis + Heimdall + Hestia

15/15 15/15 15/15

Anubis faltered at the sudden disappearance of Eros and Isis before shaking his head and rushing to the main hall, without telling his team mates.
Hestia quickly shook her head as she realized they still needed to follow orders, "We will search for Eros and Isis later! Right now...Right now we need to get to the main hall and see what's exactly going on!" This team needed to get it together.
With a nod from the other team members and a smile from Heimdall, Hestia giggled and started to lead the team to the main hall.

Anubis meanwhile had already reached the main hall and stared in amazement at the writhing vines and...what looked like a land turtle of some sort, having never seen a Torterra before the Riolu snickered as his eyes started to glow with an unholy energy, "Hehehehehee! This should be fun don't you think Mr. thing possibly trying to do something to this guild~" He then aimed a Blaze Kick at the outgrowth of vines.

(( Eros and Isis are...wherever the people kidnapped by the vines for the OC meme go. Yep...there. Also Anubis used Blaze Kick so double damage...If I read that right.))

Incultyr
60/60

Incultyr ignored the chaos that surrounded him, except occassionally releasing a Dark Pulse to deter any vines from getting anywhere near him. He needed all the concentration he could muster.

He wasn't entirely sure if this would work. If not, he was going to die here, completely helpless and unable to fight off the plant matter. The thought spurred him on.

Of course, it wasn't all that bad of a thing. They do say that sometimes Pokemon evolve because of external stress. And there's plenty of that right now. It didn't take long before the ruins of Team Polaris's room was filled with the light of evolution.

I'm coming Morana.

Zora reappeared in the midst of Team Polaris.

"There's something in the Main Hall." The Umbreon hissed a warning as Team Polaris came to a halt. Morana almost expected as much. She hesitated for a moment, and then turned to her team.

"Veritas, I want you to lead the others to safety. Go back and find another exit. Crown, Skye, if you are able to I want you to to carry Chronicler and Acer at least to safety."

Morana remembers the horror of coming home only to find out about Crescendo's death. She won't see it happen again among those in her Team who does not fight. She could tell that whatever was attacking the guild was strong, and the entire palace was in danger.

"I'm coming back right away though." Veritas replied determined and Morana nodded.

"I'm counting on it...stay safe."

Chronicler and Crown didn't have any arguments, though both didn't seem very happy about leaving Morana behind, especially not having already left their co-captain. Veritas dashed off with them, blasting a vine out of their way with Icy Wind, leaving Morana and Zora together.

"How are your parents?" Up until now Morana had not allowed any fear to creep into her voice, but now it seemed to have finally all come loose. Her words were almost a plea, though she was confident in her siblings' abilities.

"They are fine." She confirmed, and both of them began to make their way towards the Main Hall. Whatever was happening, they had a duty to help.

More and more vines blocked their path as they got farther down the hall, but they tried to avoid fighting them if they could. Eventually they could no longer ignore or simply push the vines aside- they had to destroy them.

The task wasn't too bad, with Morana being fire type and Zora's sheer skill with weaving between reality and the shadow plane to avoid damage. The Houndoom destroyed one last thick vines before finally crossing the threshold from the West Wing into he Main hall.

The sight was an unnerving one, with the entire hall being filled with such a thick mass of vnes that Morana knew that this was the source.

"There's a Pokemon in the center there." Zora snarled, appearing beside Morana. The Houndoom was alarmed to hear a hint of trepidation in the Umbreon's voice. What could make Zora scared?

A Future Sight alerted Morana to a Vine whipping at high speeds towards her and she ducked under the attack. Zora deftly jumped out of the way, and both of them breathing a stream of fire as the vine reteated, its ends alit and shriveling from the heat.

"Hope, get Melissa out of here." Atra ordered the Jirachi the moment they got out of the door. "And send me to Mother's room."

Melissa opened her mouth to protest, but was cut off by Hope instead.

"I can't! Something's preventing pokemon from teleportating!" The Jirachi replied. The last time something like this happened, Atra's father had died.

"Damn it! Hope, just try to find the safest way out. I'm going to find mother!"

Before Melissa or the others with them could raise any objections, Atra turned back down the hall towards the Guildmaster's Chambers. Who did her mother have with her as guards again? Thanatos was gone. Did she keep Leonard with her? And ever since Pluto's medical team moved out to their own room, she wouldn't have the protection offered by Adme either...

A vine caught up to him and preoccupied as he was, Atra almost missed it. He stumbled over the vine as it slid across his path, tripping him. The Flareon landed on his feet, but was not quick enough to stop the vine from wrapping itself around his midsection, trying to squeeze the life out of him.

While a fairly troublesome attack for most, it wasn't really a problem for the Flareon, who simply jacked his body temperature as high as it could go, his fur bursting into flames, and the vine fell away a pile of ash. Atra continued down the hall, leaping over another vine until finally he broke down the door to the Guildmaster's quarters.

"Mom!?"

---

"No Hope, I'm not leaving. Something's going on and they need our help."

The Jirachi floated there, undecisive. She could feel the power emenating from the Main Hall. Whatever was there is dangerous. Pokemon will die. She should be getting Melissa and Zosee and Zero as far away from it as possible. She had explained this to them, and it had not detered any of them.

She had no right making this decision for them, and she can't abandon them either.

"Fine, but I am coming as well." She will try to save as many as she can. With a nod the four of them began down the hall, though most of the vines in this area have been put down already. Many other Teams afterall, had fought their way through the West Wing.

However, once they hit the main hall, well...all hell broke loose. Zero and Zosee caught sight of their family fighting a way off, but too many violent, murderous vines separated them.

Melissa immediated realized that in terms of offense, she was useless. She couldn't see where the enemy is, so her powders wouldn't work except to be a hindrance to her own guildmates. But what she could do was to provide support. She took out her Sunny Orb and attempted to activate it just before Zosee unleashed a stream of fire at the vines before her, doing her best to burn a path to her little sister and her daughter.

Zero covered their back as they pushed through the mass of plant matter, unleashing a constant flow of cold, icy air.

Katara stayed protectively over Melissa, slashing at any vines that got too near them, though her efforts were not needed as Hope kept a close eye on them all, working a strong and devastating Psychic attack that left many of the vines near them whithered and twitching.

They seemed to be attracting more attention from their enemy because of how fast they were breaking through the wall of vines for more seemed to coalese on their position, maybe as an ettmpt to kill them before they caused too much damage. When Zero saw this however, he was determined to keep them alive because he rather liked being alive thank you very much.

The Glaceon inhaled a large breath of air and blew it out in a wide arc, then angled it higher and higher until effectively there was a wall of frozen vines behind them that the rest of the vines found very difficult to penetrate.

The attack left Zero a bit weak, but he shook it off and caught up with Melissa and the other just as they reached Morana and Zora.

Suicune
65/65

Suicune could feel the mass of power moving across the land. It was huge. And not just in physical size.

The Suicune had mainly been traveling across the land, doing what she always did and helping out from the shadows wherever she could. It was a troubled time and the Legendary was kept busy.

When she had felt the mass of power though, she could almost guess its destination before she confirmed it. The guild always attracted trouble. So Suicune made her way across the land. She had friends at the guild, and would be very sad to see the ones who had courageously summoned her once before to fall in battle.

When Suicune arrived at the scene, she couldn't really tell what was going on. Upon opening the main entrance to the palace, she was confronted with a wall of writhing vines that immediately went after her the moment the door was open.

Slight confused, and more than a little cautious, the Suicune released a beam of cold air that shimmered oddly in the air, freezin the vines where they stood. The Suicune then hurled her rather impressive bulk at them, shattering what she had frozen and sending the shards into the other unnaturally thick vines.

65/65 && 65/65 && 55/55 && 55/55 && 55/55 && 55/55 && 55/55 && 55/55

Zori flicked her ears back, her face blank with horror. She was crouched low behind a railing, the top rail shattered from the force of a vine. Now, she finally was face to face with the monster behind all of this mess, and he was a lot different than she'd expected. Celeste was crouched beside her, her tail flame dimmed so low that Zori was barely even sure if it remained alight. That Torterra was massive, his eyes blind with rage. Such a force of destruction was clearly impressive, but they had to move quickly, before the beast decided to renew his efforts on close-range attacks. The vines were by far much easier to defeat.

The vines. They twisted so thickly around the Torterra that one could scarcely tell where they began or ended. It was a tangled nest of weaving vines and plant matter, almost tying itself into knots at every other inch. It would be near to impossible to get through them alone, and to make matters worse, the Torterra was large enough that he could likely attack them on top of it all. They'd have to be careful.

"Alright. We have to take out as much of those vines as we possibly can. Agreed?" Zori glanced back at Celeste, her golden eyes were narrowed seriously. Celeste, who was clearly displeased, bit back an angry retort. The Leafeon was not attempting to exert control over anything; she was merely being professional. The fact was that they would all die, if this thing was not stopped. That was very real. Life before pride.

"Fine. But let it be known that I am alone in my ways. I will follow no orders of yours," the Chimchar hissed back.

"Perhaps not, but I will."

Zori glanced up, finding herself face to face with a very familiar-looking Swampert. The massive Water-type was strong, perhaps the strongest out of all on his team. Despite this, however, he respected the orders of his team captain, and to Zori, that meant quite a bit. Her friend. "Kai, the kids-"

"-are safe. Keiran is keeping a close watch on them. Between himself and Azra, they've enough Psychic energy to defend themselves until we can arrive to help them. Still; I'd not recommend straying far. The point is that nowhere in this building is safe enough to protect them entirely... but if we don't fight this with our all, none of us are safe, regardless."

Both females nodded solemnly, although Celeste was yet debating whether or not it was worth it to stab the massive male in the foot before she really started the fight. She could tolerate the Leafeon, if only for her small, dark form. She was much closer to the unevolved beings she normally fought with. This great violet hulk, this waste of air and space, was clearly nothing like she was used to. All the same, he somehow managed to hide effectively. Hopefully he'd be more useful on the battlefield.

"Alright. If that's the case, let's give this our all."

With a sudden, sharp cry, Zori bounded over the railing, her lithe black paws kicking off what was left of the handrail as she somersaulted over it. Her paws cut silently through the air, touching the dust-coated floor. The dust sprayed up around her, almost blocking her vision entirely. Yet, she managed to land safely on all fours, and the Leafeon's battle-cry resounded loudly throughout the area. Snow and ice swirled around her form with a strength to rival the vines that surrounded her. They were closing in, trying to contain the noisy creature that had landed in their midst. The growing Blizzard swirled around her, the shards of ice cutting deep into the vines. She could feel the power growing, frost beginning to form along the length of her leafy ears and tail. She had to keep moving, at least to try and keep herself from freezing as easily as the vines around her.

The pellets of ice and snow fading around her, she could feel the burning begin to grow in her legs. Already, she was resorting to diving and twisting around the remaining vines nearby. They were weakened, but not enough to deter them for long. Out of desperation, she crouched low, feeling a vine snap wildly over her head, and missing her by inches.

A massive, shadowed figure hurtled through the vines, freezing them solid and shattering them into dust with a single strike. Scooping Zori into his arms, and launching her back over his shoulder, Kai moved to retreat again. They'd dug too deeply into the tangled web of vines for their own safety, and they needed to stay back if they were to have any room to move.

Celeste, on the other hand, dove straight into the thick of it. Flames spun around her, blazing fiercely with a violet glow. It scorched through a part of the vines, as she Flame Wheeled a path through to get a better vantage point. The flames still swirling around her, she could only hope that they're protect her from the worst of their attacks.

As one reared overhead, Zori cried out to warn her, only to fall silent, flinching back as a familiar, dark-furred figure burst through the vines. The Quick Attack was blindingly fast, and within a moment, Keiran had the vines beat back away from his companion. He didn't like Celeste in the slightest, and she fet nothing but loathing for him. The contempt in the eyes of both partners was so obvious that it sent shivers down Zori's spine. At the same time, however, it was very obvious that they'd been raised fighting together. The two Pokemon, underpowered and unevolved as they were, moved efficiently and powerfully as a team. They would be fine. She just hoped that they all would be.

- - - - -

Azra shuffled Snowy in behind her, trying to shield her from the dust and shards of rock that were flying in every direction. The vines were practically tearing apart the building around them, and the massive crack in the stone wall seemed the safest place for them to hide. They didn't have much of a choice; they were neither effective against Torterra, or even experienced in battle. Staying low was the best that they could do, and they had to hope that it would be enough.

Keiran had run off to join the other adults in the effort, leaving behind a group of four who fully understood the gravity of the situation at hand. Istas clung tightly to Gary's chubby pink body, the Slowpoke deflecting as many vines as possible from reaching their hidden alcove in the wall. Skye was the one furthest from the safety of the alcove, twisting around the vines and breathing a Frost Breath along the surface of each and every one that she crossed. Any that Gary missed, she was quickly snapping up behind him. They couldn't allow any of the fierce, grassy appendages to make their way through to the tiny Pichu at the hind of their group; she wasn't strong enough to take the same beating that they could.

It was obvious from the expression on the Eevee's face that she wasn't used to fighting. Despite all of the practice that she'd gained away from the guild, she was far from being a sufficient fighter. They'd have to take turns, Azra decided, trying to fend off the vines around them. That way, they wouldn't tire nearly so quickly. She pressed her palms together, a faint glow arising around her arms and face as she sent a Helping Hand toward her family, fighting just out of sight. She could only hope that it would bring them some form of luck. In the end, she finally focused her hopes on Zori, worried for the safety of her friend's mother.

"I would get us down there faster but something is blocking my Teleport."
Ein spoke; his voice laced with concern and irritation as the amassed team traveled as a whole with the singular goal in mind of getting themselves to the Main Hall hurried along the corridors of the guild. No one in particular made it clear to them that this ought to be their destination, but from the general commotion and sound of crumbling rock and all hell otherwise breaking loose in that direction it was safe to assume that there would be where they are most needed at the moment.
"You can't Teleport..."
Finian repeated with a bit of an accusing tone.
"Yes. That's what I said. There are forces acting here that I've never experienced before."
The Celebi justified.
"No. I mean you physically can't Teleport... I've never seen you Teleport."
"Shut up. If I were able to, I would be prevented from doing so at this moment from something other than my own inabilities."
"I'm not even going to-."
"I said shut up."
Polite conversation seemed to be a way to pass the time amongst the guild members as they sprinted about the hallways with utmost determination. The sickening sounds of battle seeming closer and closer with each passing moment and mixed in with loudly beating hearts and something that resembled the noise something sinister climbing through walls would make...? Something didn't seem right, but before any of Team Kusa could process that fact, a set of vicious vines shot from the nearest wall to the group and succeeded in separating both Aidan and Nadia from the pack. Strength was more common than not held in numbers but the duo were straggling behind to begin with before they found themselves faced with what was practically a wall of greenery; it wasn't their fault that they were significantly smaller and less apt in terms of keeping up with their canine and legendary companions.
"Go on. We'll catch up."
"Give your aid wherever it is needed"
The couplet of team owners gave their orders before they found themselves practically encapsulated by tendrils, cut off and even being forced to back away from the direction in which they were heading along with the rest of their team. The two Riolu not wishing to miss out in the action entirely each contributed a Fire Punch against that which blocked their way. Neither of their attempts seeming to do much against the sheer girth of the plant life while leaving themselves open to retaliation from the enemy.
Per request by their leaders, Kyle, Finian, and Ein soon reached the Main Hall, epicenter to all of this madness which was better justified with a visual now of what they were facing. The trio were firsthand witness and soon to get in on the experience of a scene of pure carnage. Fellow guildmembers pitted in battle which already gave the hint of being an utter loss on their part as other members found themselves victims to the vines that laced the entire room constricting anything that stood in their way. Oh, hey, look, here come a few now. Finian had no intention of becoming slave to those sickening tendrils any time soon; a focused Psycho Cut attack, generously powered up by a Psychic attack courtesy of Ein (As the Celebi found himself at a lack of anything better to use against such an enemy) satisfactory enough in the sense that it fended off a multitude of vines slithering along in the direction of the team. Kyle was soon to follow after managing to catch on to the gravity of the situation at hand, imminent death all around and whatnot, a Flamethrower from the Fire type quite possibly topping the others in terms of potency.

Beatrice &&& Ailleen &&& Emily

15/15 15/15 15/15
Beatrice smiled at Riley. "Its ok. I understand giving the situation." The team followed MistMelody down the hall, Beatrice riding Ailleen like a horse. Emily had decided that she was going to protect Irilyss, and was running at her feet.

As the team reached the entrance hall, a vine shot out and grabbed Beatrice off of Ailleen. The tiny ralts struggled against the vines, but to no avail. She was trapped in the thicket. "Team! Get to safety!" Beatrice knew fully well that might mean leaving the hall and the guild, but her team member's lives were at stake.

The Vulpix gaped as Beatrice's weight was lifted from her. She tried an Inferno at the vines that were holding her team captain captive, but others shot out to block the fire attack. Ailleen shook her head in frustration at Beatrice's plea for the team to flee. "Beatrice, you know we won't do that!" Ailleen charged at the Torterra, but two vines lashed out and caught the Vulpix, flinging her up towards the cieling across the room from Beatrice.

Emily took a few steps back from her team members as they were caught by the vines. She lowered her head to her paws when she heard Beatrice's command. The Rattata shook her head unsteadily. "No.. Beatrice, I'm sorry... I'm staying here." The Rattata took a few steps back and charged. She darted through the thicket of vines, dodging when they lashed out towards her. Emily's teeth grew to an enormous size. She clamped down on the vines once, twice with Hyper Fang before jumping backwards in a double somersault. She retreated back towards Team MistMelody's line.

Era & Ethfael & Sereni & Riley & Faran & Celus & Eon & Irilyss
55/55 - 45/45 - 50/50 - 50/50 - 55/55

The band of four that Era led made good time after they had beaten the troublesome vine. Although the Pikachu was careful to check wherever they went, everyone seemed to have made their way out of the West Wing without too much of a hassle. There were signs of the wreckage all about, everywhere the four looked it seemed as though something was about to collapse. The Guild had pulled off impressive reparations before, but it would take a miracle to repair the West Wing based on what Era could see. The thought saddened the Electric Type, the light from her wings dimming ever so slightly. There were so many memories in this place: she'd first met Ethfael here, they'd built the start of their Team here, she'd visited friends and celebrated holidays here. Now it was gone; even if they managed to rebuild it, it couldn't ever be really the same. Era released a melancholy sigh, looking over the remains of what had once been home, and an unshed tear glittered in her eye though it didn't fall. With a final trailing look, the Pikachu turned her face forward and didn't look back again. There would be time for goodbyes later, once the problem was fully dealt with.

The quartet moved as quickly as they could in hopes to meet back up with the rest of their Team on schedule. There were no more obstacles in their way, as most of the other Teams had already made their way onward before them, so it wasn't long before the Main Hall was in their sights. Well, what remained of it. Before their very eyes the small group watched a Torterra rising up from the ground itself like some sort of demon sent from hell. Which, arguably, he was. There were vines just like the ones from before, only hundreds upon hundreds of them that were thick as trees in a forest. "There's no way we're getting through that," Era muttered to herself, her ears pressed back against her head out of sheer shock and dismay. The Pikachu knew already that this battle would be hard for her to fight; electricity didn't affect Ground Types in the slightest. This was a battle that she would have to take to the air for if she wanted to be doing anything helpful at all. "You wait here," she said quickly to her Teammates, over the uproar that was the battle, "Ethfael and the others may already be down there, I'm going to get a better look." With a smile, the winged Pikachu jumped from her position on the upper level, intending to get a quick view of the battlefield. She never got the chance.

"Era, no!" Eon called after her plummeting figure, reaching out a paw although it was already too late. The male Pikachu had seen something that she had not: a vine was rushing by in such a way that it was certain to make a connection with anything nearby. Eon cringed back as he watched the vine and his Leader collide in midair, sending the much smaller Pikachu it had hit spiraling out of control. In mere seconds though, more, smaller vines shot out from who knew where; they encircled the little Electric Type and caught her up just the same way that Ethfael coiled around his opponents when going for a kill. "Not good, not good," Eon muttered as he watched, his eyes shifting this way and that as his mind raced ahead of them. "We've got to help her," the Pikachu said after a few long seconds, "And we've got to kill this thing, whatever it is. And we have to find Ethfael and the others." Looking back into the wary eyes of Celus and Sereni, Eon forced a smile in a way rather similar to Era's own, "Come on, we'll start with finding the others. They can't be far. Just stick with me: it will be fine."

~~~~~~~~~~
Ethfael led his portion of the Team and Team Wonderland to the Main Hall, his motions swift and meaningful. He was on a mission, and the other three knew better than to try and dissuade him of it, even Faran. Their arrival was abrupt and their greeting even more so; none of them had expected the massive Torterra and only Ethfael and Riley had presupposed there would be all but a full-scale war going on in their home. "What is this?" Riley said, sounding appalled by the sight of it. There were so many vines it was hard to get a good view of the creature itself, but all of their Guildmates were hard at work dealing with the problem already. Many vines had fallen, but there were still many more writhing about; it would take a good deal of hurt before the Torterra would likely even notice their attacks. "This is going to take a while," the Eevee said darkly, looking up at the head of the massive Land Pokemon and steeling himself for the eminent battle. Naturally that was the moment when things started to go wrong.
The group's eyes were drawn to the vine that narrowly evaded them and snatched Beatrice up like a doll. Riley's eyes widened and Ethfael's narrowed; this was a problem. Irilyss froze in place, her eyes seeing a very different situation and another young Ralts being shaken like a rag doll; the Gardevoir's hand fell immediately to her side and she felt the coin in her pocket. It burned with with the memories. In moments, the Vulpix from Beatrice's Team was hurled across the room as she tried to help her Leader, and then the Rattata leaped forward in an attack before coming back to join their number. "I-I'm scared..." Faran whispered, the young Vulpix staring with a haunted look after where the other Pokemon of his kind had been thrown. Ears pressed flat against his head, he backed up to Irilyss, wanting her to say that it would go away; the Psychic said nothing, looking down at him with unspeakable terror in her eyes, still immersed in the past. The Vulpix shied away from her and stepped to the side, not realizing that he was precariously balanced on the edge of the upper level.
"Faran, watch out!" Riley's voice cut through the air as the Eevee leaped forward and shoved his young friend out of the way just as a vine knocked against the side of the structure and caught the Eevee off balance. In mere seconds the Normal Type was falling toward the ground with nothing to break his fall but hard marble.
Just then a flash of blue caught Faran and Irilyss' eyes; Ethfael wrapped his tail firmly around the stair railing and lunged down after the Eevee before the two could even register what had happened. "Riley!" the Dragonair called out, "I'm coming!" The Dragon looped himself about in the air, firmly wrapping around the small Eevee and halting their fall, leaving them both dangling precariously by the strength of Ethfael's tail. His sleek body strained from the effort as he began to pull them both up and back to safety from where they were now, and Faran let out a cheer of joy. Alas it was quickly cut short as, before either Dragonair or Eevee could react, a knot of vines looped around the pair and tightened, pulling them up into the air and forcing Ethfael to relinquish his hold that had been keep them safe. The duo was now caught amongst the vines of their enemy with no plausible way to escape, let alone to breathe without difficulty; out of the frying pan and into the fire as it were.
"What do we do?" Faran yipped, the young Fire Type's eyes wide with panic as he watched his heroes pulled away by the Torterra's vines. "What do we do, what do we do!?" The Vulpix whimpered nervously, afraid of the vines that had eaten his friends. He wanted to be somewhere else, he wanted to be safe at home, he wanted-"Era!" He cried her name pitifully and to no avail, tears welling in his eyes.
As Faran closed his eyes he felt a soft touch on his back, "Hush now Faran, don't give up hope just yet." The Vulpix's eyes snapped open to meet Sereni's calm and serene gaze, and he fell into her fins quivering with nervousness. "Never fear," the Lanturn said, rubbing the Fire Type's back soothingly even as she tried to ignore the noise of the battle around them, "We're all together now, it'll be alright."
As she comforted Faran, Celus and Eon approached a still-dazed Irilyss and Emily beside her. "Irilyss? Irilyss!" Eon's voice was firm, but not sharp, taking on the air of command that the group lacked in the current situation. The Gardevoir snapped out of her reverie, removing her hand from her pocket and looking down at Eon in surprise. As she opened her mouth to ask a question, the male Pikachu shook his head. "No time to chat, we've got to destroy these things!" his eyes clouded slightly as he spoke the bad news, "It took Era. We have to save her. Where are Ethfael and Riley?"
Irilyss' eyes widened in shock, "Era too? Oh dear..." The Pikachu looked about to press her for answers, so the Psychic readily supplied them, "Ethfael and Riley too, it's taken all of them." As Eon and Celus exchanged a look of alarm, the Gardevoir's eyes trailed to the Rattata beside her. "And they took her Team Leaders as well," Irilyss added, gesturing to the Normal Type and causing the other two to notice her for perhaps the first time.
"...Right, alright," Eon said after a moment of indecision, stepping up in a way that would have made Era proud. "Sereni, Faran, come here!" He gestured for them to come and they complied, the Team huddled around the male Pikachu. "Our best chance is to take down as many vines as we can. Once we take those down we can get to the Torterra, and once we get to the Torterra we can bring him down and save Era, Ethfael, and Riley." The group nodded collectively, fearful expressions growing determined and worry changing to fierce calm. "Come on then," Eon declared, "Time's wasting!"
The group made their way down to the main level and were instantly enveloped by the fighting. Though the Teams stuck together for the most part, everything was so chaotic that it was hard to tell which was which. Once they were in the thick of the battle it was impossible not to fight for their very lives. From the very foot of the stairs, Celus sent a barrage of Razor Leaf flying toward the vines that began to shoot towards them: the sharpened leaves did their job and sliced the larger vines to ribbons, leaving the path clear for a moment before new vines rose to take their place. Eon and Sereni separated ways and split off to either side as they attacked vines to the right and left of the group. Eon's set fell to the ground with a repeated powerful Slam and Sereni's Take Down did the same to her side's vines. Both were determined that no sneak attacks would get a hold of any more members of their small group.
The problem with killing the vines was that they were like the heads of a hydra: kill one and two will rise to take its place. Every time that one went down, more seemed to appear before their very eyes, it was like they weren't accomplishing anything at all. As yet another tangle of vines headed for them, Faran breathed out a Fire Spin that enveloped the entire writhing mass of them in front of him and left them smouldering on the ground, even as Irilyss bound several vines together and sent them crashing to the ground nearby with a Psychic attack. The band of five was small, a shadow of the normal Team; but together they were determined to do their part for the Guild and for their Leaders.
Tris & Maestro
Tris and Maestro continued along their way to the Main Hall without further incident. They passed by the remnants of several vines that had been dealt with prior, likely by other Teams making their way to the same place. The duo wasn't talking to one another; a chilly silence fell between the two of them that could be almost tangible to any who happened upon them. Tris stewed silently to himself, glaring at the back of his partner in anger and betrayal. The Zorua likely wouldn't even care if he died, would he? The b*stard would probably be glad. The Ditto's whole body shook with the extent of his fury as he walked behind the cause of his every problem, feeling the burden of his cross moreso than ever. Someday maybe, after this, he'd find a new Team to call his friends. At the very least he needed to get away from the monster that was his partner. Anything but staying with him. Anything.
So lost was Tris in his brooding thoughts that he failed to notice his partner had stopped moving. The resulting crash into the Zorua earned the Ditto a slash across his side with the Sneasel claws that Maestro currently possessed. "Foolish," the Dark Type said, acid in his words, "You're foolish to think such traitorous things Tris." The Ditto paled in shock at his partner's words, wondering how he possibly could have known, and the Zorua flashed an unsettling smile. "Who do you take me for exactly?" he asked the Normal Type, leaning in and forcing Tris to pull back. Maestro chuckled darkly, staring his partner straight in the eye, "You can't hide from me in your mind. I can read through its pages like those of a book. It's folly for you to try and hide it you know. I am always there." The Ditto felt shivers run down his body's spine, afraid to breathe, let alone move away from the eminent threat of Maestro's reprimand. The Zorua smiled through his Sneasel guise, eyes alight with menace. "That's better," he said in a soft and deadly tone, before turning to continue on, "You'd best watch your step Tris. Arceus forbid that I decide you've lost your usefulness." With that he kept going, leaving Tris to swallow his fear and follow. After all, he had no choice.
By the time the pair arrived in the Main Hall, the battle was already in full swing. Other Guild members were downing vines, one after the next, in order to try and get at something that stood behind them. "Oh Arceus," Tris gasped as he caught a glimpse of the massive Torterra that towered above them. It was like no Pokemon he'd ever seen before, even the giant Ninetails he'd heard tell about from a while back couldn't possibly been as big as this titan was. "What do we do..." the Ditto murmured in disbelief, "What can we possibly do?" The task looked neigh impossible from where he stood, and he had a rather clear view.
His partner looked at him expectantly, and with some impatience, gesturing to the vines with his claw when he saw Tris' expression. "After you," he said coolly, eyes flashing with dark amusement. The Ditto felt his spirit leave him almost instantly upon being instructed in that manner. There was no point, was there. He would die here: they all would die here. But as Tris looked around at the other Guild members fighting valiantly against the vines, a spark of their courage came to him. A small spark, but one that began to kindle within him and grow as he stood there upon the balcony. No. They wouldn't die, not without a fight. With that thought fresh in his mind, Tris spread his wings and took to the air-only to grasped by a vine that coiled about him like a snake and held him fast, high above the ground. The Ditto struggled making his form shiver and melt, but to no avail: the vine cut off his ability to breathe almost entirely and he couldn't escape its iron grip. So much for not being doomed.
Maestro spat an oath as Tris was snatched up by the vines, less than pleased with this turn of events. While he wouldn't care at most times, he needed a dog to fend off the vines now and his most ready choice was now held captive several feet in the air. "One must always do anything they want done right themselves," the Zorua said dryly, unamused by his own use of the phrase. With a running jump, the Illusion-clad Pokemon sprung into the air with the intent to drive his claws into the vine that held his partner. Snap! Quick as a whip another vine beat the Zorua down, shattering his facade and resolve. In another swift motion, the self-same vine wrapped itself around Maestro and held him more tightly than was comfortable. There was no way for him to move within the Torterra's hold, but the less he struggled the less painful the squeezing was. The Zorua waited impatiently in his prison for release, his expression devoid of anything at all. This was not a good day for him.
ImitiqwertOliverqwertyChuck
Imiti cleared the last of the vines, hacking it down with a psychic blade. A telekinetic blast cleared the no longer moving vines from their path, allowing them to proceed unhindered.
They didn't need to get very hard before their path was completely blocked by a wall of vines. Noises of battle could be heard on the other side, suggesting that their destination was beyond it. The best thing to do would be to get through the wall so that they could figure out what on earth was going on. With that in mind, Oliver pointed a hand at the wall and fired a small boulder of ice at it. It flattened and froze vines as it rolled over them, eventually coming to a stop about ten metres away.
There was now a path half the width of the hallway for them to go through, but they still couldn't see past the vines. Hoping to clear them, Chuck threw a fireball at the spot where Oliver's ice ball had just disappeared. Frozen vines shattered, unfrozen vines burned to scraps, and they could finally see into the main hall. The first thing they saw was the massive field of vines in front of them. The second was a Glaceon--Zero, was it?--letting loose a great burst of icy air. The third was the monstrous Torterra in the middle of it all.
"Oh my--"
Imiti: Used Psycho Cut, 4 damage, downed the last initial vine. 45/45
Oliver: Used Ice Ball, 8 x 4 = 32 vines down. 45/45
Chuck: Used Flame Burst, 6 x 2 = 12 vines down. 40/40
.::Stark & Mako & Siegfried & Nariko::.
N/A --- 40/40 --- 45/45 --- 40/40
Stark's brain was whirling as he ran, his speed increasing with each shattered vine he passed, with each realization that the jungle of vines was getting more dense as the team went along. Someone- or something powerful was here, and it was threatening their guild. That was reason enough to want to kill whatever it was. The floor gave another shake as something moved beneath them. Stark tried to keep up his balance as he led the team toward the hall.
Suddenly, there was a massive tremor, and a massive vine erupted from the ground near Stark, clipping him in the shoulder, casting him aside, right on top of another segment of floor that was shaking suspiciously.
"Master Dravin!!" In a blur of movement, Stark was suddenly swept away, just as a huge number of sharp, thorned vines erupted from where he was just laying, dividing the corridor in half. He shook his head, and looked up at Sieg, who was still hunched over him protectively. Before either of them could say anyone, Mako rushed up beside them, followed by Nariko.
"We managed to make it across before the vines clogged the hallway, but..."
"...Everyone else is trapped on the other side. At least, I mean-- I hope they're--"
"Enough. I'm sure everyone else is as hale and hearty as the rest of us. But right now, we must direct our attention to what is threatening the Guild."
Stark sighed, and stood shakily as another tremor shook through the Guild. "Fine. Let's go- we're wasting time." He nodded in the direction of the main hall, then led the rest of the team the rest of the short way to the hall, and--
"...What the ******** is that supposed to be??"
There was a moment of relative silence, as Stark, Sieg, and Nariko gave an askance look at Mako, who started to shrink back in embarrassment as he realized what words had come out of his mouth. Though, to be honest, Stark was feeling harsher on himself- he had just thought that upon entering the hall. Stark rolled his eyes.
I am not a very good influence on this child...
Whaddaya mean? That was ********> HILARIOUS!!
Stark rolled his eyes, then took a step forward. "Alright- here's the plan. Sieg, you--" He was cut off suddenly as a massive tangle of vines erupted from the ground, launching him into the air, slamming him against the wall, then coiling around him, ensnaring him in its web.
"Stark!! Are you okay?"
Stark shook his head, dazed, trying to wriggle out of the vice-like grip of the vines around him. They didn't move an inch. He focused, sending a Psycho Cut down the side of the vines- it didn't even make a mark.
"Don't worry, Sensei! We'll get you down!"
"No! The vines are too strong- I can't even make a scratch on them. Turn your attention to the vines in the center! Used ranged attacks- I don't think it's safe to attack them directly. I'll try and get out of here myself, so go to it!"
The team hesitated for a moment, then turned toward the mass of plants, Sieg and Mako opting to increases the power of their next attack- using Swords Dance and Bulk Up, respectively, and Nariko instead opting to launch an Ice Beam at the vines.
Leaving Stark... hanging there. With Boros for his only company. A situation which Boros summed up nicely.
...This blows.
Quite.
Ver -- Freya -- Flor -- Alice -- Rufus
45/45 - 45/45 - 45/45 - 45/45 - 35/35
Ver panted as his team reached the Hall’s entrance, already exhausted from the initial push. Their assumptions were overall right though as he turned his attention forward and stared in disbelief at the scene before him. Most of his team shared the same shock Alice aside whom merely fidgeted behind the small group, half expecting, half wanting to leave before they all died. “It’s underground.” “Not anymore…” The Roserade’s voice cut in in reponse to her Psychic’s friend delayed statement, watching the beast before them pull itself free from the ground. They fought a lot of crazy stuff, but this was insane. How did one even hurt something so large? They were like flies. Watching Era get shot down only furthered the fact. “Think of something—“ “What? What do you do against that?” Ver turned sharply toward the Grass type beside them, their bickering continuing on as the remaining three watched various guildmates of theirs attack and destroy vines, which would either result in a meaningless, slow, exhausting death or maybe the answer to their prayers. It was hopefully the latter. Nodding inwardly, Alice’s eyes met a nearby vine and released a Psychic on it, watching it writhe and seize under the force. “Attack the vines!” The Chu’s command hung in the air upon Alice’s confirmation, breaking into a burst of speed as he threw himself into another vine in a Quick Attack.
Ver watched in silence, repeating the Electric’s words to himself before his temperature rose and Freya quickly stepped off to the side with nothing more than a Sunny Day before Ver released his Flamethrower. Flor retreated back with Alice after doing nothing more than a Magical Leaf, idling and looking over the guild as the others advanced. She probably couldn't do much anyway. “I hope you know you can’t stay still long.” “I don’t plan on it.”
((Ver (6x2)- Flamethrower (12)
Freya (5)- Sunny Day, success
Flor (2x1)- Magical Leaf (2)
Alice (7x1)- Psychic (7)
Rufus (9x1)- Quick Attack (9)
((- 30 vines if I'm doing this right. Pardon the horrid posting, but I need to go out and I dunno if I'll beat Shawn back to be able to post later.))
Aire -- Anues
The silver haired male came to a halt at the hall's entrance, clinging to the wall's edge as he panted in order to keep himself upward after his initial sprint. The closer they came, the more violent the shaking grew and why the walls hadn't caved in yet was a godsend. Simply running down the halls and slashing away at what stood in your path wasn't an energy saver in the slightest. Now he regret it. As Aire joined him, Anues' ears caught sound of a mummer and he turned his attention forward, finding the giant Grass type pulling itself from the ground. His ears dropped in horror as his eyes followed it upward. Noting the male's anxiety, Aire quickly snapped away from her own shocked state in favor of acting. "We have to run." "No... no, we'll get ourselves killed." They were honestly going to die. They all were, this was it.
Anues' attention quickly snapped back at the sound of something far too close breaking through the wall and Aire yelping, leaving him staring down more vines from the source before them. He didn't act immediately, not until the ground below them seemed to vibrate lightly. It was different from the other tremors and as his mind caught up to him, the Gardevoir's expression turned grave: "Run." The duo took off sprinting into the hall the moment the word was spoken as the ground behind them shattered in a mess of vines. They progressed but seconds into the hall before the female screamed again as a vine burst up from the ground between the two, coiling her waist before pulling her to the ground where she then on sat squirming and struggling to pull herself free in a series of curses at seemingly nothing in particular.
The moment she screamed, Anues skid to a halt and turned to run back, but a second vine emerged from the wall, giving him no time to react, eye contact aside as he was then swiped off the ground and thrown into the wall, stunning him instantly. The threat removed, the vine retreated into the wall, leaving the male to fall to the ground and walk no more than 2 uneasy, aimless steps before collapsing.
Cronus
'Duis comedentis'
Vine Count: 111/500
The Torterra huddled down within its shell as the volleys of attacks rained down on him. Despite the vines being shredded and torn from every side he made no physical reaction to any pain that must surely be spreading through him at that point.
His plant-like extensions writhed in pieces on the ground, twitching like decapitated Ekans'. Dead, but spasming as the muscles seizured in their death throes.
The massive elite pushed it's head forward as the guilds prepared their second onslaught, but before a single strike could fall he'd unleashed his own.
Shaking as though frightfully cold, the behemoth stomped his feet beneath the ground he was still partially hidden in.
The entire guild shook violently and the floor itself began to shatter into pieces as the earthquake ravaged the area!
A soft chuckle began from atop the Torterra's head though it was not the grass type itself that made the sound. The familiar outline of the black and white Eevee was visible past the vines ensnaring the walls and ceiling in a leafy net. He had a calm, almost bored smile on his face and a bag around his neck. With wide eyes Solaris, still hanging from the ceiling, recognized it as the bag that held the remained of the relics!
The vile normal type had them all now, but at least he didn't have the rest of Suecra! So long as one piece was missing his plan wouldn't work.
This sense of comfort was lost as the Eevee motioned to what had at first appeared to be a black shadow behind him. Closer inspection revealed that dark Lopunny from before.
Eridanus said something, to which she gave a slight nod and vanished into a Shadow Sneak.
His attention back on the guilds, a soft glow emitted from his paws and spread down across the head of the Torterra beneath him. A Recover. The beast was not so near to death now.
Cronus used Earthquake!
------All Pokemon take 10 damage! Those weak to Ground Attacks take 20! (Levitate is permitted)
Eridanus used Recover! (+100 to Cronus)
Vine Count: 211/500
Cronus and Eridanus can not be fought directly!
There are too many vines blocking the path to him! You'll need to take them all out to make an opening, but be careful...you can't hurt him...but he can hurt you.
Point your face in this direction and you'll see a new post in the FAQ regarding the HP system.
(Please ignore the 'WIP' at the top. I'm just finishing some codes for it.)
For your reference, this is a Torterra, therefor:
Ground, Rock = Half damage. (Ex...Roll a two and you get a one)
Flying, Bug, Fire = Double Damage (Ex...Roll a two and get a four)
Ice = Quadruple damage! (Ex...Roll a two get an eight!)
Electricity = No Damage
All other attacks are regular damage.
