Alright, here she is. She won't be crew for now. I'll PM the password to you guys. If you'd like to start working on anything, I'd appreciate it if you'd post in here about it first and leave notes about what you did afterwards (from your own accounts, so we know who did what and when). I'll be doing that, too.
I'm not going to be especially strict about how anything is done, since it can always be changed later if it doesn't work. I do ask that you don't delete anything, though. Just copy and paste from the old threads into the new ones if you need to. I'll go through and move any unnecessary or redundant threads to the archives later.

I'm going to finish the Valentines Event thread for this year on my account as that is easier for me. Then I can take upon the transferring to the mule when it's time.

Ok, just FYI, I went through and added an asterisk to the titles of threads that I want to move to the archives. I did move two threads that had nothing in them. They'll most likely get deleted when we finish fixing up the database and start working on the archives, but I don't want to delete anything just yet.
I might go ahead and move those threads, and the asterisk will help us keep track of them. The plan, though, is to create new threads for NPCs and major plotlines and put in all the verifiable info we've got, then go through the asterisk threads to see if they have anything useful we can add. Most of the info in these threads is unverified, with no links or screenshots or anything, but there are a few things that would probably be useful assuming they aren't repeated in other threads.
I'm going to create threads for different groups of NPCs. I was originally going to make one thread for all of them, but I quickly realized there are just too many for that and with new ones being added all the time, it could get messy and inefficient pretty fast. There will be one for general Gaia NPCs (like Sasha and Rina and them), one for isolated event NPCs (like the ghosts and werewolves), one for the Zurg, one for the Von Helson family (Ian will be included here), one for the Kuro gang, one for demi-gods, one for zOMG! NPCs, one for RIG/EI based NPCs and maybe one for the Star People (since they have become more like normal NPCs, running a shop and everything, even though they started in items). If I feel the need to add more (or if I forgot a group), I will.
Once the threads are created, you can feel free to add information. Just make sure you use Agent Precis to make any new posts and make a note of your additions here in the thread. If there is information about an NPC already in the database, you can just copy it into the new thread. Remember, though. Don't delete anything.

I added posts for each of the Zurg and included their Gaia profiles for now. If anyone has any information they think should go in the posts, please share! I'm open to any and all ideas. It should be information specifically related to the NPCs themselves. There will be a separate thread for the plot as a whole (as there will be for all other major plotlines).
Also, does anyone know if Bobo (UFO 12) has an "out of UFO" profile? I could only find the one for his UFO. If he doesn't that would make him the only Zurg besides Mother who never came out of his ship. eek

So, who would qualify as the General Npcs?
Just the shop keepers maybe? Where would the Gambino's go?
Do you think the Gambino family should have their own thread?
I also finished what I can with the Valentines Event.
I guess the next step is to remake the events with the NPC....

I was just going to put anyone who didn't belong in another thread into the general thread. Meaning if an NPC owns a shop, but is also part of a group with its own thread (like Ian and the Von Helsons), they would not go in the general thread. NPCs with no known relation to a larger group would go in the general thread. If we change our minds and decide to put someone somewhere else, we can just change their old post to "reserved" and add a new post to the thread they belong in. I don't want any posts deleted, though, because that would effect the total number of visible posts (assuming guilds work that the main forums in that regard) I'm debating what I want to do with the Gambinos... I mean, they're important enough that they could have their own thread, but there's only three of them, so... it seems unnecessary. But I gave the Kuro Gang their own thread and there's not many of them, either. neutral I'm also going back and forth on whether I want to keep the Star People thread or change it into a thread for all NPCs who originated as items. I'm also not sure what I want to do with the holiday figures. Right now I'm just trying to focus on what I'm sure of. After the Von Helsons, I was going to do the event NPCs (ghosts, werewolves, hunters, etc). Nothing I've done or plan to do is set in stone, though, so if a better way of doing things presents itself, I'll happily change the plan. I'm just trying things out since nothing will get done if I just sit around wondering what the best way to do it is. (Sorry, I'm so long-winded. sweatdrop )

Alright, we'll leave the event NPCs alone, then. For G-Corp and S-Corp, I wanted a history of each organization in the first posts and each lab/elftech to have their own post with a link to their journal, if it exists (I'm pretty sure they all still exist in the guilds). That thread you linked won't be going away, even if we don't make another with the actual contents of the journals. It'll be in the archives if it's needed in the future.
