Finian could do nothing but seat himself on the marbled floors and wait in silence after the announcement over the guild's speaker system directed teams with items stolen from them to report to the main hall, a location where him and his company were already residing. During this time, Ein put little effort into holding back his chuckles that he felt he well deserved to have, having survived the boredom of this whole ordeal.
"Well it looks like your guild is more than capable of solving their problems without you. Are you sure you're actually even beneficial to this collective?"
The Celebi proposed, perched atop his companion's head as he spoke.
No response was to be given however as the hall filled with all that had items stolen from them and those who retrieved the goods respectively. Finian trotted his way over to the bags which already had a large mass huddled around them and patiently waited until he was able to snatch up his misplaced ribbons which were fortunately still in condition comparable to what they had departed from his body in.
"We went through all of this for some string?"
Ein scoffed at the idea. Although he was already made aware of what they were searching for, seeing the aged fabric before him upped his lack of pleasure all the more.
"Shut up... They have sentimental value."
The Absol responded, equally annoyed with his company by this point though still in the mind enough to give a vague explanation for his action; the ribbons in question hanging from his maw as he spoke, having no other place to exactly handle them for the moment.
"That's all fine and dandy. You've gotten your garbage, you're a disappointment to your guild, and you give horrible tours. For these and many other crimes I've had enough of your company for one day. Your punishment is to escort me back to our lodgings for the night."
Before Finian could even retort, the petite Pokemon seated upon his head reached down and grabbed the ribbon from either side of the canine's jowls, proceeding to pull it tight like a set of bit and reigns. The Absol yelped in alarm at first but quickly realized there was no real reason to fight back and put pressure on his precious ribbons. Humilated, he departed from the room under the direction of his rider.
