"Oh Alcie..." She wasn't alright, she looked like a skinned cat. Sin walked over and took her friends hand examining it with a mild frown.
"I would wash it off...but those gnomes took my open water bottle back when we had to go through the portal. Maybe just wrap them up for now and hopefully we'll find something to wash off some of that blood with...sorry about your skirt Alcie." She sighed softly, this wasn't exactly a good start.
Sin looked up confused as Julians voice came...down? He was above them? Wasn't he down on the ground? She peered up and saw Julian looking at them through a hole...oh. That meant these were different slides...and Julian was still above them.
"Yeah more slides...but I can see where some of them end!" She called up and then knelt again to peer down.
Hmm...bad news was it looked like most of them ended going through nasty looking holes...all but one...she just didn't know which one that was. Sin chewed her lip a moment and then looked back up uncertainly.
"Some of the slides down here just lead into more holes!"

She had been so disoriented that she hadn't even realized that Julian was nowhere to be found. Alcie looked around and thought that they were back where they started but when she looked up she realized that they weren't. The slides had taken them to another level but she only saw four holes. So that meant the last slide stopped on the level above them. What happened if they never found their way out?
"No worries. It's not that bad." She had had worse injuries in the past and she had recovered so she didn't seem to be too worried. Alcie ripped the bottom part of her long skirt to wrap her hands. "It should be alright for now." Nodding and smiling slightly, Alcie turned her attention to finding Julian.
She saw the familiar face through one of the holes above them and Alcie called out too. "We're down here Julian! It should be safe to fly down!" They needed to regroup and figure out if it was possible to tell which of the slides hit the solid floor. Alcie wasn't too eager for a repeat of what had just happened.

Julian peered down at them, relieved that they were okay... Well, for the most part anyways. Alcie suggested that it was safe to fly down, but he looked uncertain.
"You th-thiink there's any way I can g-get you ghouls back up here?" he called down, head tilted to one side as he stared down. Alcie looked a little worse for the wear, hands and knees cut up. "I d-don't want to risk any more injuries," he added, his face showing his concern. What if they tried again and he didn't make it through the fog? Or the ghouls got even more hurt than the first time? No, he had to figure out a way to get them up to him.

Sin frowned and considered their options, she saw one slide that didn't lead into a pit, but where would they go from there? Julian could fly down to them, but as he said it was risky.
"Even if we get back up there we still don't know which way is safe to go?" Sin glanced again at the new set of slides.
"Julian can you see if there's any safe exits up there?"

Alcyone glanced around trying to figure out if there was any way they could get back up to Julian but so far it didn't seem like it. The only way would be to fly and she wasn't too thrilled about getting lifted up into the air anyway.
"Yeah Julian is there any way out or are there just pits? I guess the fog would make it difficult to tell... I don't think it would be a good idea to guess again and risk getting hurt. But it would be pointless to try to get up there if we're just supposed to continue down the slides."
Alcie tried to ignore the stinging as the scraps of material rubbed up against her wounds as she continued to survey their surroundings. The level they were on looked exactly like above and she couldn't tell anything distinguishing between the slides. Looking to Sin, Alcie commented, "Maybe we should investigate the slides and see if we can figure out if one of the slides are different or not." She really didn't think that would work but it was a suggestion.

They did have a point. Was there anywhere to go on this level, or was it better that he just slip through the hole and they try again? He sat up and looked around, but couldn't really see anything at first glance. Julian looked back down through the hole and gave the ghouls a small smile.
"D-don't go anywhere, I'm gonna l-look around," he said and disappeared from their sight. He stood up, his wings wrapping around his shoulders as he got a better look at the area he was in, careful not to fall into any of the other holes.
[Julian looks around on his level to see if there is an exit and any way that he can Sin and Alcie back up through the hole.]

There is a neon lit exit on Julian's level, but climbing back up the slide and out of the hole may not be easy. The OOC Roll 1 6-sided die. If you roll 4-6, that is how far you manage to climb up. If you roll 1-3, that is how far you slip down, and also the damage you receive for slipping. Once your total successful rolls reach 10, your character has managed to climb out. (Example: I roll a 5. My character climbs up 5 lengths. I then roll a two. My character slips down two lengths, and I lose 2 hp. My total distance so far is 3 lengths.) Your rolls will not go into the negative. (If I am at 1 length and roll a 3, I will not be at -2 lengths.) Julian SAVE: If you roll 1-3, there is a chance that Julian can help you by either catching your hand and giving you a timely warning! How: after Sin or Alcy slip, reeshie may roll ANY die. If the number is even, he was successful, and not only are the ladies saved from slipping and losing HP, but they gain 1 length as well! Odd rolls are sadfail. (Example: I am at 3 lengths, I roll a 1. Reeshie then rolls an even number, saving my character! ((YAAAY)) My HP remains the same, and my total lengths are now at 4! Good job, Example Julian!)

Julian was back at the hole before the ghouls could do anything. "It looks like there's an exit up here. Can you try climbing back up the slide?" he asked, hoping they could do it, his shy stutter fading from his voice as he sort of took charge of the situation. It came and went, really. He didn't have that problem around his family or old family friends. Mostly people he didn't know. Or ghouls. Definitely ghouls. He hovered (More figuratively than literally) around the hole, hoping to help them in any way he could, determined to get the ghouls back up here. He didn't like being separated from them, by even this little bit. Not only did he feel somewhat responsible for them, he really didn't like the idea of being in this place by himself.
"Come on, it's not that far."

Sin's HP: 29 Strained left wing
Sin took a deep breath, good news Julian seemed to have found a way out...bad news they still had to get back up. Climbing the crazy slide did not sound fun or safe, but it had to be done. She glanced at Alcyone's injured hands and bit her lip unsure how to go about it.
After a moment she glanced up at Julian with a nod. "Okay we're coming up!"
She turned back to Alcyone and pushed her hair back. "I'll go first...Id rather we went one at a time so if one of us slips we don't end up knocking the other off too. If your worried about your hands though just follow me up...grab my waist and we'll try and shimmy up together."
With a nod she turned and gripped the sides of the slide and hoisted herself up. Slippery and tough, but she managed to scramble halfway.

Sin's HP: 29 Strained Left Wing
Sin sucked in a deep breath as she clung to the slide and kept her focus at the top. Okay...okay she could do this, it wasn't any harder then a backflip, or hoisting up one of her fellow fearleaders. She lunged up again her muscles straining as she clung to the edge of the hole they had slid in through.
"Oh sweet Jack!" She huffed out as she wiggled her rear up and over and crawled out away from the slide. She flopped over and then laughed and relaxed moving to peek back down.
"Come on up Alcie it's not so tough!" At least Sin hoped that it wouldn't be hard on her friend. Then again her injured hands might pose a bit of a problem.
Sin flexed her fingers and gave Julian a quick hug. "Let's get Alcie up here and get out of this crazy place."

There was a way out? For some reason Alcie couldn't believe her ears and she was so eager to try to get back up there. It didn't seem like there would be any better way. She waited and let Sin climb up the slide first. As the other ghoul ascended the ladder, Alcie began to feel the pain prickling in her hands and began to feel rather nervous. She had no idea how they were going to affect her ability to climb back up the slide.
It seemed like only a few seconds when she realized that Sin had already made it all the way up the ladder. It did seem pretty easy... The water demoness began her ascent and found the slide rather easy to grip. She seemed to make it already half way up the slide in no time. Her hands were feeling sore but that was to be expected. Alcie tried her best not to think about the pain and continued upwards.

At first she had thought that her hands were going to be the problem but since they were wrapped up, Alcie began to feel the rubbing and rawness of the gashes on her knees. Gritting her teeth, she continued to climb up the ladder knowing that she was almost there. She prayed that she wouldn't slip anytime soon or else she probably would fall down the rest of the slide.
For some reason, it felt like forever while she was on the slide but then the moment she felt her hands touch the sides of the hole, Alcie felt overjoyed. Making one last big effort, she pulled herself out of the hole and fell over on her back next to her two companions. "Oh my god."
Her breathing and heart rate returned to normal as she realized that she hadn't fallen off of the slide into oblivion. Grinning widely at Julian and Sin, Alcyone jumped up and quickly hugged them both. "Thank goodness that's over." Though she knew inside that this was going to be only one of many obstacles that they would have to face.

Sin smiled as Alcie made it up and hugged her, thank goodness. She turned back towards the exit sign and grinned. "Let's get out of here!"

Julian hovered around, waiting to help the ghouls out when they needed it, but in the end he didn't need to. Sin and Alcie got up the slide without his help. They each hugged him, causing him to tense a bit and pat them awkwardly.
"I'm g-glad you made it up okay," he said, smiling at them happily, thankful they were together again. And it looked like it was time to go on, so he just nodded and followed Sin.
