"What now what?" West replied, looking down at the ghoul when she finally spoke. At least she wasn't dead. Not that he'd been worrie... okay, fine. He'd been a little worried. When she offered to go first, West shook his head and huffed out a mean little chuckle. "You're not goin' anywhere, Savior, even if I hafta fight y'again t'make you stay put. I'd win this time," he muttered under his breath, glaring at her with as much gravitas as he could muster. "Stay."
"Wha'd'you guys wanna do?" he hurriedly asked the other two ghouls. "What'sat sign say?" He hadn't really paid too much attention to it. What they really needed was a quicker way across, but with a room as geared to giant nerds as this one was, West wasn't too sure how... breaking the game would be perceived.

Levi thought she got what Savior was saying. No one's goin' down till we see an a** whoopin', ghoul. West had taken up the ghoul (huh- well would you look at that) and asked about the sign now.
The crackling of ice was happening - they should move and fast. Welp- it's got letters n' numbers. Some ya can make out n' some...dun make no sense. Figure they're talking 'bout the ice blocks 'round 'ere by tha look'a it? She didn't know, but the tatzel ghoul figured she'd throw it out there given the way the sign labeled the entirety of the room by letters and numbers. It was just a thought. Pacing slowly along the edge of the platform then, Levi tried to figure something out in her head.
...could maybe jump it. This wasn't Terror Warrior or that trial she was in; her feet and tail felt ready to bounce which had to stand for something. Why walk when you can jump it all? If this was a test and her method was a possible answer...

Everything was forgotten when they had all rushed over to Savior. Holly just watched at West tried his best to cover the poor cold ghoul. "Yeah." She took up the extra cape she had and helped put it on Savior, covering her with it in the process. Good. Not that Savior was heavy to carry it was just nice to have someone of a larger build to help carry her.
Holly stood up quickly at the crash. What in Jack's name. She turned around and looked at the ice pond thing. Oh... Some of the pieces were missing now. She looked up. Awesome, so now there was a chance to be impaled by something. The ghoul nodded in agreement. "Savior, you aren't gonna go by yourself." No, not after almost forgetting about her, Holly wasn't going to let the ghoul risk herself.
She went to look at the sign. Hmmm. "Yeah, we have to follow a certain path I think but it only has pieces of it." Did they want to spend time to figure it out, did they have time. Holly really didn't like this place at all. Jump? West couldn't just with Savior though. Wait. "West, you could, uh, try to fly and get Savior across quick. Levi and I could figure out this darn puzzle or something." With an added bonus of jumping if it all started to go terribly wrong.

Might be fer the best, yea. Quicker we git out, quicker she'll start ta heat back up? Of course, this was if the next room wasn't a frozen box as well. They could hope. It wouldn't help them any to wait for the ice to completely disappear.
A smirk developed on her face at Holly's gesture of just them two figuring out the puzzle. We could. 'pendin' West gits ta tha other side, we could just jump tha whole thing too. She tipped her head at West in a go on... kinda of way, tail swaying behind her. Whadda'ya think? Can ya give it a go?
Test subject #1: West Objective: Successful flight over the icy waters to the other side. If Success: Jumping over entire course If Fail: Sucks to be you
Perhaps that was too much of a gamble? She'd never really go for something that would threaten his life, really, but if they didn't at least try... Savior was already under threat in this place. She'd have to place confidence in the boil's ability. She'd seen him fly before and despite it being rocky (and twiggy), he'd managed to keep hold of her in midair so-
The demon could fly. She kept a positive attitude about it. We won't be long.

West shuffled back over to the sign, the burden of Savior barely a burden at all. "Eff seven," he said under his breath. He looked out over the pool, counting off cracks and gaps in the ice until he thought he had an idea of where that might be. The ghouls had a... good idea, he was willing to admit, one that he'd been leaning toward himself. He read the rest of the sign, working out a path in his head. "Yeah," he finally agreed. "Y'guys can bounce on over when y'see I don't die." Sure, his response was mildly overconfident and flippant, but it served its purpose, hiding the fact that he was a little meh over the whole endeavor. He might have been able to do this by himself, but he didn't anticipate being able to dodge icicles very well while holding another person. His wings silently popped into place close to his back. West stretched them experimentally before quickly closing the two steps to the end of the ledge and launching himself into the air. (( Map of path provided by Neko included in case he actually gets anywhere before he gets icicled out of the sky or something. heart ))

West had little to no trouble flying over the the frozen pool. Though for the rest left back on the other side... Icicles were now lose. A few small ones fell at random in a trail behind West. (( OOC: Your map is correct ~ Please rp move all of your team mates over o u o b West and Savior are safely across. Icly icicles are now lose. Feel free to make your way over more dramatic by having them fall ect ect only if you'd like.))

The trip over the frozen pool wasn't that difficult, but West still found himself dipping erratically once or twice as his wings grew almost unbearably cold. The sooner they all got out of this room the better.
Once he had dropped to the ground on the opposite side of the water, he got rid of his stupid wings and turned back to Holly and Levi. He thought about gesturing or giving them a thumbs up, but frozen Savior prevented him from doing so. He wasn't about to put her down at the moment, nor did he want to scream with her so close, so he settled for lifting his foot at the ghouls and waving his boot around in a couple of wide circles. There. That was fine, right?
When more of the ceiling began to fall he backed up a step or two, moving out of the way just in time to miss a pair of thick icicles thunking to the ground. He couldn't help thinking that they'd better hurry up.

The tatzel noted West's safe drop to the other side and smiled. Not that the boil could see it or anything, but it gave them the good-to-go. Good 'nuff fer me! Let's do this, Holly! Taking a knee, Levi motioned to the ghost ghoul to climb on her back. At least if they piggy-backed, Holly would be able to see just as well as she did, and if there was trouble with the falling icicles, ...worst case scenario... she'd be able to dismount easier.
Time to jump.

Holly chuckled slightly and just watched as West took flight. That was still weird to think about. She was thinking it would be funny to see him get hit or fall but well, he was carrying Savior who needed to get out of there quickly. Something had to have been watching over them since he made it. She winced as one of the icicles fell behind him.
Pfft. Was he waving his foot as a get over here motion? They could still him just fine. Holly was just glad that Savior was one step closer to not being frozen to death. "Yeah, he got over, can't be that hard." Carefully she climbed onto Levi's back. She had an urge to yell spider-monkey for some reason. Where did that come from?
They'd make it just fine, right? "Let's join them and get out of this place!" That would be all Levi needed, Holly was ready!

If Savior's brain could function properly enough in the cold to realize that she wasn't on the ground (even though she was in West's arms) then she probably would have been really, really amazed at the flying. She may have even tried to wiggle around a bit to get a better few but as it was all she could do was cling to West, her cold and frozen hands holding on to the front of his shirt as though he were her only anchor to this world.
Also, if she could think, she would have thanked her friends for worrying about her safety rather than pouting over how they weren't going to let her do anything. She had wanted to help so badly only to have not been allowed to, which made her feel a little bit upset. She huffed in West's arms, her eyebrows lowered into a pouting expression, but she didn't make to move anymore. Instead she spoke, her voice shaking with childish annoyance. "Could helped." Her fingers twitched slightly against West as she moved in closer, his scent and the scent of her in his blood acting as a comforting tool. "Cold. So cold. Horree. Luuvii."

Good, they seemed to be getting ready to cross. West looked out over the ice and water, his lips pressed together with a measure of his usual irritation. He addressed Savior without actually looking at her.
"Y'helped. A little. We woulda stood'ere all day fightin' in th'snow if y'hadn't tried dyin' on us," he muttered. The demon wasn't quite sure how he felt about all that. If they had really been brawling with fists he wouldn't have had such a problem with it, but he had been prepared to pelt snowballs at a couple of ghouls and he had been smiling at the thought. Where were the puppies and bows, honestly? Not to mention he was particularly conflicted about the undressi-- nope, he was not going to think about that anymore. He shifted his weight and once again lamented the fact that this trip was not going how he thought it would.

This would be one heck of a jump. It was not so much about jumping high as jumping far. Trying to avoid the loose icicles and keep enough momentum in mind to make it fully across, Levi tensed her muscles like she'd start off a marathon run. Her focus was on the end platform as her tail grounded itself behind her. Gotcha! Hold on tight, spider-monkey!!!Great minds. They thought alike. Wherever it came from, it marked her take off into the air with a gust of snow shooting off from below her. She was so ready to yell out a YEEEHAAAW at take-off, but... caught herself- those icicles were just going to drop right on them if she did most likely. Best to keep it in. They were airborne and rocketing past the icy waters below at such a speed comparable to a giant slingshotted stone. Whipping across, the tatzel was keeping her eyes up toward the ceiling in case anything decided to plummet towards them, but she sighed internally with relief at the end of the jump. Tail and legs first, Levi thudded down in front of West and Savior, legs bent and adjusting back into a stand. She carefully let Holly make her way down with a chuckle. Whoowee~! That was a refreshin' one. Her face felt like it'd been stung by tiny pins. The cold had just settled in and she patted at her cheeks to bring the feeling back out. (( all are now across, yay! 8D ))

The team had made it through the puzzle. Now that they were on the other side, it was clear there was an icy door. It looked like it had been quite a while since it had been used. What with the icicles hanging off the door knob and what not. Still, it was usable. And that's what counted in the end. Where would it take the group? Were they brave enough to find out? (( CONGRATULATIONS! Your group has successfully completed the challenge! Please wait while I prepare your next room. In the meantime, your group is cleared to go visit your Hub! Once Levi had landed safely, West wasted no time telling her what to do. "Now get that so we can get th'Jack outta 'ere," he said, jerking his head toward the door.
Sassy.

At her first step towards the exit, West decided to pipe in with an order directed at her. She stopped and glared at him with a furrowed brow, but then noticed what was in his arms.
Fine.
She could see his hands were full, but there was a tone to it, dangit. Yea, time ta hit tha road. She said this through gritting teeth and a toothy grin. Taking a hold of the icy handle and knocking off a few icicles in the process, she pulled, sinking her heels into the snow and ice below. It was dead bent on staying as it was, but she kept at it, placing one foot on one of the doors and using her tail as an extra ground. Slowly, it began to creak open... just enough for them to walk through.
She looked back at West then and moved aside from the opening. ...ladies first. She meant him. Or rather- Savior. kekeke
