Welcome to the Attic Hub! As the door closes softly behind you, you realize that you are now in a shared common space somewhere in the Haunted House. A light mist has crept in, soothing and cool in comparison to the rest of the humid room. A nearby sunroof reveals that there is a clear starry sky out: it must be night in the Human World. As you look around, you can see several slightly glowing green doors situated on various platforms, each with a different number on them. If you attempt to enter a numbered door, you will find that it is locked; the only door you can open is the one you just came from that leads back to your puzzle room.
Aside from the sunroof, you can't see any more windows. Should you choose to walk around, the resulting boomf, boomf of your steps may clue you in to the fact that the ground beneath you is hollow. You must be in the attic -- that would account for the relative warmth. Gears stick out from the ground, locked in place. It doesn't look like they were supposed to move. Perhaps someone really liked gears?
After looking around, you notice that you're not alone...

The OOC After a Halloween group has completed a puzzle, you have the option to RP here in the Hub. The Hub is an ORP for the following Halloween groups only: Group 14 Group 15 Group 16 Group 17 Group 18 Group 19
And Boos. There is no limit to what Hub a Boo may RP in; a Boo may go from one hub to another so long as they post an entrance and exit post for each one. For instance, if a Boo is in the Boo-only ORP, they must first RP their boo leaving that thread with ((Exiting)) in their post. Once that is complete, a Boo may then come into this thread or another ORP and make a post of their Boo entering the thread (phase through the walls/ceiling/floor or coming through a door, etcetc) with (( Entering from )) with being their last ORP. ie, ((Entering from Boo ORP)) or ((Entering from Attic Hub)) etcetc.
General Hub Rules: No fighting. No battles may take place in the Hub; this is strictly a RP place. Halloween students may not enter a hub in the middle of their puzzle. A GM must post a closing post giving you permission to go to the Hub before you may leave (due to the exit door being locked and all). You may only RP in the hub your group is in. Otherwise 150 characters in one place would be far, far too confusing. You may only be in ONE thread at a time. Please remember to exit/enter from various threads. Going to the Hub does not reset your HP values.
If you have any questions or are confused about anything, please ask here.
When your GM has created your next puzzle room/challenge, they will quote-notify you. When this happens, please return to your room. If you wish to ICly RP this out, your character will hear a little summoning-bell that only their group can hear.

((Rain is entering!))
The first thing Rain noticed as she walked into the room was the loudness to her footsteps. Giggling, she stomped around, relishing the fact that she could make such noise. BOOMF BOOMF "Rawr, I'm a monster," she growled, raising her hands above her head, claws out as she took giant steps around the room. This was almost as fun as the slide! Was this even a haunted house? It seemed more like a play house.
A giant play house!
A giant play house with.. gears? They were everywhere and seemed to vary in size. She poked the nearest one with the tip of her shoe but it didn't seem to move. She didn't really know much about them. She knew they were in clocks. Did that mean they were in a clock? Perhaps Circe or Sheridan would know more about them. She was so wrapped up assessing the gears that she had failed to notice the doors.

((Entering from boo ORP))
Leonard phased through the walls, and found himself in a room with some sort of thing in it. It was obviously injured he noted, bloody bandages were wrapped around much of its body. It was barely moving, seemingly entranced by the...floor?
Obviously there was something wrong with the creature, it could probably use his assistance. But something held him back, and rather than attacking it to put it out of its misery he simply floated a little closer and called out to her. "It doesn't have to be this way," he crooned. "I know ways to make you feel better. To make all of the pain just...disappear."

((Entering from Main Entryway Hub))
....and phased back in again, his eyes fluttering open and then darting back and forth. Wait..this wasn't right! Where were the other boo's from the entryway? Ugggggghhhhhhhh, he groaned inwardly. They were hiding from him, he just knew it! Of course they were. Nobody liked him. It was his name, and his green coloring. So sickly, so disgusting! But wait, there was another boo in the room! And....something else... He recoiled backwards, floating himself straight into a wall and smacking his little boo tail. What was it??? It was all...bloody and disgusting! Was he really expected to try and get these things to leave the house? Well...that is what he'd said he would do, when he saw them all standing outside. And there was something about the creature that made him want to fly forward, flailing his blobby boo arms in an attempt to frighten her away. He could see that the other boo was floating towards her, speaking to her. He couldn't hear what was being said, however, so he floated a little closer as well, keeping a close eye on the bloodied and bandaged two legged thing.

((Entering from Boo ORP))
There was no way Alaizebel was going to stay idle for long. She searched the house and found that may places were off limits, still, which was extremely annoying; being denied access was boring. Very boring. So she tried to phase through wall after wall, until she finally managed to phase into the attic. However, once she arrived, there were only two boos and one of the unfamiliar creatures. Alaizebel frowned and sulked, circling around the upper levels of the attic, waiting for something more exciting to catch her attention.
That didn't last long. She lowered to the gears and made a game of rolling around the gear teeth, obviously unafraid of them; even if they were to start moving again, what could possibly happen to her? Besides, didn't look like they could move. What was the thing with blood on it? It didn't look like what she had expected, from that window.

(( Entering ))
As soon as he strode through their icy door, West dropped Savior and Holly's hands and crossed his arms over his chest. It was much warmer in here, humid too, and the boil was soon breaking his angry stance to uncoil the scarfish portion of his cape and remove it from his neck.
He glared around the gear-filled room, blinking a bit at the presence of Rain, a ghoul he couldn't remember having seen since the pee-bag-mysterious-disappearing incident back in Christmas Town.
"'Ey, you're not dead," West said by way of greeting. He slid his bag off of his shoulder and dropped it next to one of the gears. "What're these things?" he muttered more to himself, his gaze moving from boo to boo. "Weird lookin'."

(( Entering ))
As soon as West dropped the hand holding, so did Levi. Was it getting hot in here? Obviously so- the boil unravelled his red scarf/cape...thing. Cracking her neck side-to-side she relieved some of the chills and stiffness from her limbs. This room was very mechanical... or something. Gears were everywhere. They buildin' somethin' still in this place? West seemed familiar with a figure ... was this a student?
Out of the corners of her eyes... things floated. For some reason, she looked at Holly just then as if to expect them to be kin to her.

(( Savior is entering from Group 14, Room 1 ))
By holding someone's hand that naturally meant Savior had followed West in, toting Levi with her, and once they entered the warm(er) room she was a bit surprised and a little distressed over their sudden connections being severed. That didn't last, of course, as soon as she noticed her feet were able to sustain her body weight and the option of running around and exploring had become open to her. ". . . . Look." It wasn't a command, more of a statement, and as soon as the Marrowstripe could she bounded over the grounds towards the gears.
She was surprised during her exploration to see little floating things moving around, ghosts perhaps though her brain didn't register them at all, and the monster decided that the closest way to figure one out was to probably scale the gears and catch one. The gears being on the ground made this easier, not to mention they weren't mobile, and Savior jumped from section to section. Her feet hadn't entirely thawed though and she found herself slipping with a tinge of pain, her face connected with the floor once more. "Tired of this." If Savior had to hit the ground one more time she swore up and down that she would learn how to fly. Somehow. Until then she got back up onto her feet and brushed herself down to get rid of the dirt. The clothing that Holly and West and Levi had offered to her remained with that group leaving Savior to run around in little more than rags.
Of course when something loud came bursting in, talking Savior nearly shrieked with surprise and excite over this newcomer. It was a 'ghost' like before, perhaps she could catch it as well?

((Entering from boo spawn)) "AWWWW YEEEEAAAAAH!" cried out Fireboo as he showed up shortly after the other. Oh look! There were fleshies in here as well! Not too many, but it was still something! Besides, a few of their fellow boos were around too! "Yes! Looks like this lot is more than ready to get down and boo-gie with the best! Say, WHO IS READY TO PARTY LIKE THE HOUSE IS ON FIRE?!"

Fire? ... THIS PLACE ON FIRE?! This was certainly a contrast to the first room. It was so hot, it was on fire? She heard the voice say so, but didn't quite grasp yet that it was of a certain boo. Her tail wavered around anxiously as if to expect a roll of flames coming at her.

West narrowed his eyes at Levi. What? Fire? Party? What? No, West did not want to party. He didn't want to party even when he voluntarily showed up at one, so why would he want to party now?
"No. I dun like it an' I'm not... ready t'do it." There. Partying averted.
"What're you things?" Halloween rejects? Horrible fashion victims? Human waste products?

She had been expecting her teammates to join her but instead, she found herself face to face with a flying..marshmallow? "Pain? What pain," she asked curiously. Why, she had never felt better in her unlife! She was having such fun here.. until.. this thing came. Now she was confused. Perhaps he sensed Sheridan being hurt in the other room? She was sure he had been okay, she'd never have left him otherwise. Now she was feeling as guilty as she was confused. What a downer this marshmallowhead was!
Just when she thought it couldn't get any worse, another one joined them. It chose not to speak to her but it was staring at her. It took a lot to unnerve a zombie and they were doing a pretty good job at it. It was when the third creature joined them that she started to really worry. She shouldn't have wandered off away from her team. She had gotten too cocky.
She was relieved when West joined them and he seemed to have brought a few others with them. She used the distraction to leap over to stand behind him. He was much bigger than her and a boil at that. "Hard to kill what's already dead," she replied, patting him softly on the back as she peered around to get another look at the boos.
"Good question. Hey, marshmallow heads, what are you?" She found it easier to be brave now that others were here.
Some of the creatures didn't seem so bad. One of the newer ones mentioned a party? Parties were generally safe.. unless held at the school. Perhaps she had misjudged these things. She was just about to step out and introduce herself when another flying creature made an appearance and said the no-no word. Was it true? Did he just mention.. fire? Nothing scared an undead more than fire.
"F..f....fire," she mumbled and begin backing away, tripping on her own feet in the process. She wasn't sure what these creatures were or what they were capable of but if fire was a part of it, she wanted to leave. "Fire...bad," she muttered from a sitting position. Her eyes were fixed on the latest boo and it best stay far away from her.
