The Grave of Fairies Trial [Failure]Journal Entry [ COMPLETED ]
November 17, 2011 Failing to even enter the Grave of Fairies comes at a great disappointment. Many others of the my classmates succeeded in entering and will be graduating to become full fledged witches. I may not have known them, but I'm still sad that I will not be graduating with them. It almost feels like all the hard work that I've put into my studies so far have come to nothing in the end. But I will not stop me from studying even harder. Next time. Next time, I will definitely be among those that pass the trial of the Grave of Fairies.
While failure was a disappointed - And really, who wouldn't be disappointed at failing? - I must confess a part of me is relieved at the failure. I would have loved to graduate as well, but I still don't feel ready to be called a full fledged witch. The other students at Makai Royal Academy seem to know what magic the excel in, but I haven't yet found anything that I can do well. I struggle with every spell that I try to cast and with the studying the teachers require of us. Sometimes, I have to read things over several times before I even get an inkling of what they're trying to tell us.
But this failure has only given me more determination to find the magic where I excel so that I can succeed at my next attempt to enter the Grave of Fairies.
