I guess I should probably introduce myself, since everyone else is doing it. XD
I'm Likewise, and I'm 21, going on 22 in October. I'm just a crazy almost-college student. I won't actually start until spring, but I'm trying to get everything I can get done before then. For right now, I'm just going for general studies because I'll be attending a community college that doesn't offer any kind of art classes. I want to be an artist of some sort, whether it be conventional art or something modern like game design is still unknown to me. I've been drawing since I was 3 and it's been my passion ever since.
About the balls, I've never heard of them till this year, and it seemed like a really good idea to me. A user-run event is a wonderful idea and I wanted it to be known that I thought so. I've been off and on on Gaia for almost five or six years, and I'd never heard about this. It's crazy.
My hopes for this next ball... I just want to be able to help in some way. Doesn't really matter how.

Well lets see, I'm 31 and probably the oldest here, sad I know. Anyway, outside of Gaia my name is Jennifer, but here on Gaia I am Gwendolyn, you can call me Jen, or Gwen and I shall respond. This year was my first ball, even though I have been here on Gaia since 2005. In all my time here I had never heard of the ball till now. I love helping out where and when I can. That is why I joined this guild so that I could help out.

Well hello there! I'm empress-luna, but you can just call me Luna. In RL I am seventeen, a senior in high school, and live in TEXAS (ergo, I use the term "ya'll" on occasion) Don't judge me based on that though, your stereotypes about Texans are probably mistaken! I was intrigued to Gaia in '06 by a friend who sadly has since drifted away from the site, but I still remain! I have learned much since my no0b days and fancy myself a pretty-dang-good artist and an average RPer. I have heard about the ball for two or three years now, but I did not attend till this year and I must say, I am pleasantly surprised! It obviously takes alot of organization and effort and I definayely want to be a part of that next year! I am interested in drawing for the 10th annual ball and maybe even co-hosting a room! Nice to meet ya'll!

'ello. I'm 19, i got to work and i spend a lot of time on the computer. not much to say about be except that i have a huge imagination and love to start stuff and keep it going. also i love to help do cool things like the balls. they were cool.

Why hullo thar.
I am XxharmonicxX, but it's a silly and long username. People call me Harm, Harmy, Momo...I don't really care what you cal me as long as it doesn't sound too dorky.
I am in a relationship with my photoshop and camera. I spend a lot of time on the computer. I'm fifteen - I think that is about the average age of Gaians on here. Uhm. I hosted Gluttony's room this year as Restraint.
I dunno what else to say, haha... I can't wait to work with everyone again this year! C:

So, who are you?
Well, I'm Daku and I've been going on Gaia for almost 5 1/2 years. <333 ;D My real name is Casey and thats all your gonna get from me as well as I'm a 21 year old Scorpio! ;D <333
What's your involvement with the balls?
The first ball I went to was I believe the 6th Ball and then from there I helped out and participated in the next balls, including this years ball as Samantha Cera, Daughter of the lovely Lust! I hope that the this years Ball would be the by far best ball Gaia has ever seen! >w<
And what are your hopes for the upcoming ball?

My turn!
Hellos! I'm Vibrant Violet Violinst, or Violet for short. I'm an amazing high school student/violinist/puppeteer/writer/ninja. I hope to be going to college in the near future and majoring in something to do with education, since I really like helping people, and little kids don't judge as harshly as older people.
As far as these balls go, this past one was my first. I've been on and off here for a while, but I'm on for now. It seems to be a really good idea.
I'm currently in a romantic relationship with a violist. Kinda funny with the whole violin/viola war thing.

Life's been crazy to say the least; between staying super busy my senior year and doing everything that one girl could probably handle - academic, personal, and club/organization work - and then having things slow way down once I started college. However, I deeply love college despite having to listen to an annoying friend babble on about her boy toys and dealing with the horrendous parking situation. Other than that, I'm finishing my undergraduate by the end of this year and planning on transferring colleges on the coast. Life got out of control and so Gaia was pushed far from my mind. However, I got sucked back into gaming last year and back here just recently and attempting to just relax and enjoy life.

The ninth ball was actually my second ball, but my first as a host. I played Lust! It was the most amazing experience 'cause I got to work with the most amazing people (who didn't make me feel like a total noobie at it! xD)
And what are your hopes for the upcoming ball?
To make sure it's as amazing as the last ball.
To donate tons - I already have a set goal for myself.
....I really am terrible at these things.
