First off I will say that I just love Toby as she is just so cute! I also love how she has a seeing eye scareon. I also love her pictures that you have posted up of the both of them. I didn't know that Iris was that big, but still very cute and heat vision is neat!

I really couldn't think of anything to crit as Toby is very well thought out and that other have asked questions already. But I think of something that I think is a little silly, anyways would Iris help Toby pick out her clothing to make sure that it would all match together or would Toby use her 'true eye' to make sure that every thing she was wearing matched well together?

I would definitely love and appreciate on Adyian.

Ffffff man, it's hard to think of things to crit for her lol. CAUSE SHE SOUNDS AWESOME.

Uuuh uh. Random questions, go! She likes having innocent ghouls/maidens as friends. What if a more punky or rough type ghoul wanted to befriend her? Or a pretty-boil (read: TRAP), or really just any boil. Would she have any kind of problem with them, or just simply not be as close as she is the maidens?

Hmmmm. Would a 'hot' person (like, oh Danny ololol or someone) "blind" her because of her heat-vision? Same for hot things like fire, hot stove, so on?

How would she deal with someone bullying her? Just try to stay away from them, talk to them about it, try to do something to please them and 'make them like her better' etc?

Since my brain's pretty much failing right now for coherent crits, I'll be tackling both of those tomorrow-- but seriously, thank you for your extremely helpful input! I'll fling out a couple of answers now for personal reference blah blah, but I'm not at my most articulate WHEEEEEEE~

MANDA:

Punky/rough ghoulfriends or (pretty) boils?:

Toby's content to be friends with anyone that treats her fairly, ghoul or boil! Like I said before, she's pretty much gender blind, so sex does little or nothing to effect her responses/perception. She's just more compelled to personally seek out the maiden types, and would therefore be a lot more likely to first approach those herself instead of the other way around... so uh. Yeah. The non-maidens might have to take that first step to introduce themselves or whatever, but she's cool with it.

Also, pretty boils may qualify for being maidens too! Just depends if they fit the listed specs or not. 8B

HOT PEOPLE?:

... That is actually a really good point to consider that I hadn't before! Very hot things are perceived as close to white by her, so something SUPERHEATED would probably give her the 'eyestrain' equivalent of someone used to darkness suddenly getting a bright light turned on in their face. She can look at things about as hot as a normal fire without it being painful, but beyond that (especially if it happens in a sudden burst and she can't 'adjust' to view the source, which she's capable of to some extent), she'd probably have to look away super fast or have her heat pits get scrambled.

Bullying?:

... This is actually one of her bigger and more damaging faults. If she's just being bullied verbally, she'll usually tune it out, ignore it, shrug the situation off or even yield to demands made (like "DO MY HOMEWORK D<" and so forth) if it will pacify her aggressors. She'll go so far as to play along with self-deprecating jokes and banter with them if she sees an opportunity to pull a sly topic derailment or earn enough sympathy to make it stop. With physical bullying... unfortunately, her response is about the same. She'll actually take that kind of bullshit laying down if she feels confident it won't leave more than a few bruises and just uses the same tactics. It's pathetic, but she pretty much just waits until they stop kicking her to get up, dust off, and go about her business.

After the fact, however, she does actually take much more aggressive measures to prevent a repeat. She'll change her walking habits, find new routes around things, travel in the shadow of someone she knows is intimidating, et cetera. She is really a smart kid, after all, and she doesn't enjoy getting pushed around or dealing with people taking advantage of her. Unfortunately though, if she still gets caught again despite that... she reverts back to just taking it. :C

TRIRA:

Do falsicorns have a herd mentality or no/et cetera?

... Actually, unicorn doppelgangers function more like typical predators than most equines (being meat eaters and all), so they're fairly solitary in nature. Pairs do usually mate for life and stay together, so they'll travel around like that and have small family groups with young, but seeing a big herd of them is really rare (usually this is only family reunion type stuff, never permanent). They are not, however, territorial at all, which makes them very neutral about group settings. Toby does enjoy being around others and has very passable social skills, but at the same time, she still enjoys an afternoon by herself if she's got nothing better to do.

I doubt she'd really have a special reaction to other equine students unless she met them in their natural forms, but she'd interact pleasantly all the same with them.

The talon thing?:

It's literally just a thick, extremely dense, pointed gouging claw! There's no poison or fancy trick behind it. Basically, it's meant to be a used as a versatile weapon during the chase to catch, snare, bludgeon, trip, or otherwise lash at a fleeing victim with big swings of their tails, usually aimed at feet, backs, or necks. Just think of it like a cross between a light mace, a grappling hook, and a really dull knife attached to the end of a bullwhip. It also grows in a way very similar to a cat's claw (and sheds the same outer layers occasionally), but it less sharp, and much, much thicker.

Being helped?

Hoo boy, Toby being the one helped would totally feel like a Twilight Zone thing. She'd probably be very flattered for the effort, actually, and offer to do it herself instead if she could-- but assuming the person insisted, she'd accept (hurr, PUSHOVER WHAT PUSHOVER) and just express a lot of gratitude/make sure to make up for it with return-help whenever she could.
