Liallia chuckled and shook her head as she watched Malphas go to the bar's front counter. "Are you alright?" She asked, dropping another coin into the bartender's hand and receiving another drink. Her pen lay sideways across her journal and she frowned at the ink blot it created.

A small shadow dragon danced around Creed's drink as it sat there. he watched it as it blew fire into the air.

Leaning heavily on the counter, Malphas shook his head.
"Oh, I'm good. Great actually. Love this place, best wine and spirits around. The food isn't too shabby either."
He smiled as the barkeep handed him a few more bottles, examining each one.
"Let's see...vintage Chardonnay, good. A century old scotch, I've seen better. What's this? Ah! Absinthe from the green fairy herself. Bless you, my good man!"
He dug into his pockets and deposited a few gold pieces onto the counter.

Liallia shook her head and chuckled again before looking at the shadow dragon with interest. "Is that summoned?" She asked the man that it danced around. She pushed away her pen to keep her from tapping it and smiled kindly.

Koji was ready to take on harder things. He wanted to wash all his stress away in the alcohol and have a good time with this group Koji came over to Malphas, "What's the strongest drink this place got?"

Giving a wicked grin, Malphas turned to face Koji.
"Are you sure you want the strongest? It could knock you flat on your tail."
He motioned to the barkeep, who nodded and went to the back of the establishment.
"Well, this place has a mixed drink called the 'Black Death'. It's a special mix of Styx wine, dragon's venom, green fairy absinthe, and just a hint of moon temple sake. Sounds like a weird combination, I know, but you can't get it anywhere else. Hell, it's not even listed with the normal drinks."
The bartender returned with a glass of a blood red liquid that seemed to issue forth a green fog. Malphas grinned as the bartender proceeded to light the top of the concoction on fire. The flame started normally enough before becoming a venomous bright green. The vampire looked once more at Koji.
"Well, there it is. Sure you want it?"

"I'll take it." Koji took it and drank a large gulp. He started to feel the effects right away. "Man...t-this is awesome!"

Malphas laughed.
"Oh, good! Another serious drinker!"
Pulling out a few more gold pieces, he placed them in the hands of the bartender.
"One Black Death for everyone! My treat!"

Koji was only drinking this hard to stave off his depression, "WHOO!! That's really good. Man...who knew there was a place like this."

Smiling as his own drink was brought to him, Malphas shook his head.
"You should have been here three centuries ago. Those were good times. Unlimited alcohol, good company, and nearly endless celebrations in this tavern."
He downed about half of the concoction, eyes tearing up as it burned down his throat.

Lifting the rest of his own drink, Malphas toasted as well before downing the contents. It burned through him as he slammed a fist on the counter and shook his head.
"I had forgotten about the bloody aftertaste."

"Does it have a name?" Liallia asked, moving closer subconciously and admiring the dragon. "I had always wanted a dragon," She said wistfully. She observed it with great interest, eyes following it's path of movement.

"His name is Tsuki no Kasai. He's my favorite out of my five." he said admiring the dragon. he touched its back and it slithered up his finger. He held it in his pal in front of her. "you can go ahead and pet him you'd like."
