"Rosie...charming name." Izaya stroked the pokemon's soft, busy tail, placing the remote for the TV on the table before him. "And Saleen. Lovely." He beamed over at her. "Name's Izaya Orihara. You seem tired, Saleen. Why don't you go have a rest? I can keep an eye on Rosie for you while you sleep."
He gestured to the TV. "We can watch a movie. Have a party of our own, if she likes. What do you say, Rosie? Do you like popcorn?" The young man ruffled the curl of fur on the fox pokemon's head. "Or do you want to go take a nap with your trainer?"

Oh what? Well... That was kind of nice-but-creepy? She really ought to think of a word for that. A party? Hrm. ... But a movie party could be interesting. Tambrey eyed her book as she rested it on her lap; it wasn't like she hadn't read it before and a party really would be a change of pace. Maybe she'd forget her arm for just a little while.
"I.. uh.. would not mind having some films on or something. The 'movie party' idea." She still didn't know how to take the 'pretty girls' comment. "Or. Well. Whatever people want to do. I just.. came for the TV and t' read maybe." (OOC: and here I basically fell asleep for a while, so catching the pose up) She watched the interaction between people and pokemon after saying such, smirking and keeping her eyes on the little illusion pokemon for a while. It was a fascinating little thing, and pretty too. "She's cute." She complimented to Saleen as she considered letting her own pokemon out. Hm. Certainly not the spider for now... And maybe not Lasi or Palu... Pygi would probably certainly appreciate some rec' room time with her. The poor baby bird had really been neglected somewhat attentionwise when compared to her other flyers. A flash of red brought the Pidgey to her non-pained shoulder. "Pidge!" The feathery pokemon greeted. "Be good. I think there's going to be a film." Tam' told her bird... who was now eyeing the other pokemon in the room, of course.

Sleep...Saleen wasn't sure she could trust Ambrosia while she napped. The dark type liked to cause trouble....and it seemed unlikely she would simply 'behave'. Oh sure, she was pretending to be well behaved NOW, but she was just waiting for an opening...though right now Ambrosia was enjoying being pet, but it didn't mean she was going to stay the 'cute little well behaved Zorua on Izaya's lap'.
Ambrosia perked up a bit when she heard to pidgey, giving it a questioning look. Was that one as stupid as the one Saleen's roommate had? She was curious, but not enough to get up. "I will stay awake. If I nap now I will be up all night anyways. But thank you." said Saleen in response.

Izaya grinned as the book-reader put down her reading material. "If you came for the TV, you should have said so. It's not like I was watching anything important." Flashing Lennyka a sly glance, he tossed the remote Tambrey's way. "So is it a movie, then? What kind of movie do you enjoy?"
"Suit yourself," he replied to Saleen, draping an arm over the back of the couch and resting his head against a cushion. "You can join us if you like. And since it seems like everyones' pokemon are coming out too, might as well wake Celty up." He put his feet up on the table, gently nudging the rock on the magazines with the toe of his sock. "Oi, Celty~ We're going to watch a movie! Don't you like those?"
The Spiritomb gradually came to life, emerging from the stone in a rather sleepy state. It seemed to stretch and elongate, if only just its head, yawning before turning to its trainer. Blinking curiously, it surveyed the other pokemon and humans in the room.

Oh wow. Now she had to choose the film? Her eyes widened as the remote was thrown her way. How could she catch this with one arm unusable. "Eeh!" What a terribly embarrassing noise. Tambrey moved to the side a little to let the remote drop onto the seat beside her, disturbing her pidgey.
Pygi warbled and decided to escape from the area where TV remotes flew toward her and her trainer. The bird decided to investigate the Spiritomb and Zorua nearby. She thought of her mother's behaviour around ghost types and so made her approach cautiously; not getting overly close to the spirit pokemon.
"Er. Thanks." The dark-haired woman said as she reached for the remote with her good hand. "Well... Lessee. I kind of like sci-fi and, uh... period dramas." She wasn't sure anyone else would want to enjoy an adaption of Wuthering Heights though. "... Comedies. What about you?"

The slim male laughed aloud as Tambrey dodged the remote, emitting a unique cry as she did so. "Oh come, now; I expected better reflexes than that! It's your arm that's injured, not your eye, right? You shouldn't have had trouble with your depth perception if you caught it with the other arm." He looked away, sneeering. "Hehe, though I guess the throw was a bit sudden. Sorry to startle you. It was worth it to hear you make that cute noise, though~"
He ducked a little as the Pidgey flew overhead, watching it settle beside his own pokemon. Gently picking up the Zorua off his lap, he placed it on the table beside the Spiritomb, got up, and went to sit on the seat beside Tambrey after she retrieved the remote.
The ghost/dark-type called Celty shrank back a little at the new proximity of the other pokemon, apparently as shy of Pygi as Pygi was of her. 'H-hello,' she greeted timidly. 'Are you going to attack me...?' Her caution was not without reason; Izaya usually called her out only when he had an assignment or task for her to do. Often it involved facing down other pokemon in battle. She still wasn't used to fighting others, however, and only did what she needed to defend herself. She had just been stolen recently, and though she couldn't recall much about her previous owner due to being in storage, Izaya concerned her. She respected him as a somewhat dangerous trainer and did what was asked of her in return for being taken care of.
"Those are good choices," Izaya remarked, nodding in approval. "Celty likes sci-fi too. And who doesn't enjoy a good comedy? I like action and dramas myself," he answered happily. "But I'm fine with anything. I wonder what Saleen-chan wants to watch..."

Saleen raised a brow as Izaya managed to freak out this Tambrey girl a bit before he apologized and moved to sit next to her. Saleen was at the end of the couch, the opposite end, because she could lean against the arm of the couch. Ambrosia, however, threw a fit when she was removed form his lap. How dare he FORCE her to move! She puffed out her chest and stood her ground as she glared at Izaya. “Zoooor! Zor! Zor! Ruuua!” she shouted before she jumped at him, and moved to bite his hand.
Saleen quickly got up and rushed over to grab her pokemon. “No Rosie! Don’t do that!” she said as she tried to pry her finicky pokemon away from Izaya. “And I am fine with whatever you want to watch…” she said in response, not really reacting as he put ‘chan’ at the end o fher name.

At the little tantrum the Zorua threw upon his relocating her, Izaya's attention was drawn. He watched the pink pokemon bark at him furiously before she jumped at him, taking him by surprise. He might have reached for his knife as an instinctive reaction, but the bite from Ambrosia stopped him cold. He clenched his teeth at the pain, but restrained the temptation to swat the little fox away. She was someone else's pokemon, after all.
"Heh...I didn't realize you were so attached to me, Rosie," he spoke softly with a pained smile, trying to calm the Zorua. "I'm sorry I moved you without your permission," he apologized quickly, assuming that was the root of the problem. "I promise not to do so again...so can you forgive me?"

"Stop it NOW Rosie!" said Saleen as she grabbed Ambrosia by her scruff, causing her to let go as she was lifted up and away. "I am so sorry....she just...I dont' know what that was about to be honest. She doesn't normally bite people..." said Saleen as she dopped Ambrosia, who let out...what almost sounded like a 'hiss' at Izaya. "Zoru! Zorua! Zor![No way! I don't like you! Jerk!]" she said with a huff as she turned and walked away, leaping up on an arm chair and curling up.
Saleen sighed and turned back to Izaya. She didn't have any bandages...but it didn't look like Rosie broke the skin so it should be fine.... "I am sorry about that...." said Saleen as she scratched her head and sat back down. Why was she always apologizing for her pokemon?

"Pidge! Pidgey!" The small bird chirped happily. This ghost seemed nice already. {{Oh! I'm not going to attack you at all! No! This room is not for battling. There's a room that is but we aren't there and if we battled here, the people would be angry. I wanted to come say hi! I don't meet many other pokemon yet. Mumma and Tam' say I'm still a baby, but I'm getting bigger! I should be allowed to meet pokemon and play! I'm Pygi by the way! What's your name?!}} Clearly, she was excited to meet another pokemon and was eager to be friendly. The Zorua biting got a very interested look. And a small bird-frown; biting was a bad thing!
Tambrey flushed a little at being called out and nodded. "It /was/ a bit of a sudden throw. Well... Cute or... not. Please don't try to make me make it again?" She then nodded and began to channel hop. "Unless someone's got a tape or... a dvd.. or somethin', then people will have t' shout when they see something they..." She watched the exchange between Zorua and man "...like."

"I'll...take that as a 'no'," Izaya stated, watching the angry little pokemon as her trainer removed her from him. "Hahaha, don't worry about it. She must just be very passionate about hating me. I tend to inspire that sort of emotion in people. First time in a pokemon, though," he added, raising a brow as Rosie appeared to 'hiss' at him. "My, my...that's some spirit she'd got there."
Glancing at his hand, Izaya waved his non-injured one carelessly. "It's fine. I probably deserved that. Maybe I can find some way to make it up to her later. In the meantime, was there a movie genre you had in mind...?"
'There are...special rooms for battling?' Celty asked, surprised at the pidgey's immediate friendliness. 'Oh. Thank you.' She swayed to and fro, hovering about her rock. 'Hello. I haven't met many others yet either.' The tiny bird sure seemed energetic. The spiritomb smiled slightly. 'They are probably right. I am Celty. It's nice to meet you, Pygi. If you don't mind me asking, though, who are Mumma and Tam?'
Catching sigh of the Zorua attacking Izaya, Celty momentarily flinched, debating whether or not Izaya would need her. He didn't seem to, however, as the matter was soon resolved and he hadn't so much as looked at her. 'Do...do pokemon often bite humans?' she asked Pygi. 'Is that a customary thing to do with humans you do not know? Do you bite your human?' She felt like it should have been common knowledge to her, but she had been in storage so long that she had forgotten basic human-pokemon interaction.
Laughing at Tambrey's request, Izaya shrugged. "I'll try, but there's no guaranteeing that I'll succeed. It was especially cute." Cradling his bitten hand, he leaned back against the cushions. "Anyone seen 'The Luvdisc-ussion?"

Ambrosia didn't answer him, but she did give him a 'I am going to get you one of these days!' face. "I am sorry. She is still a fairly new pokemon, so I guess I just haven't quite gotten the handle on her that I thought I did." said Saleen with a sigh as she leaned against the arm of the couch once more. "Movie...hmm...I don't know." naturally Saleen wouldn't mention her love for animated movies "Fantasy movies are always fun though." she added. "Never heard of that one. Is it good?"

Pygi puffed herself up and shook her little head firmly. She even frowned a little toward the Zorua. What a naughty pokemon. {{Nono! Must never bite humans or pokemon unless told too! It is very naughty! Tam is my trainer. She has hurt arm right now. My Mumma is Palu! She's in /that/ ball!}} She stuck her beak out to indicate her mother's pokeball on Tambrey's belt. {{And sure there are rooms! It's where we train sometimes!}} Honestly the little bird seemed delighted to be able to teach somebody anything. Usually she was the one having to learn everything.
Tambrey set the remote down to rub at her injured arm for a moment while she thought about it. Chewing her lip in thought. Then shook her head. "Can't actually say I've even heard of it either..."

"Not at all. It's a difficult task, keeping pokemon in line. Especially unruly little ones with a lot of spirit," Izaya responded to Saleen's apology. "Let's pretend it never happened. Fantasy, eh? That's a wide genre," he added, hearing the pink-haired Rocket's preference. "Anything particular you like about fantasy?"
"I think it's a romance comedy. Never watched it myself, but some teenage girls have told me they liked it. A regular 'chick-flick', I'd call it." His gaze wandered to Celty and Pygi, who seemed to be chatting very animatedly. He sneered at this and turned back to Tambrey. "I guess we both have injured hands now," he remarked playfully with a good-natured chuckle. "Speaking of which...mind me asking how you hurt yours? That looks like a pretty bad injury if you need a sling."
"Romance doesn't seem to be on any of our lists, though, so we can always choose something else. There's a sci-fi one called 'Moonstone Madness' and I think a horror about ghosts called 'Repossessed'." He paused. "Then there was one about a ditto who tried to fit in with humans...I can't remember what it was called, or what genre it was. Seemed a bit childish, but the concept was intriguing enough." He peered at the girls.
"Or...we can always look around and see if we can find some fun surveillance tapes," he suggested with a coy smirk.

"Surveillance tapes?" Tambrey chewed at her lower lip for a moment; that could be... troublesome. She wasn't even sure they -could- get their hands on tapes anyway and certainly not without incurring somebody's wrath. Plus, what might be on them? There could be something terribly embarrassing for anyone. "I'm not sure about that..." She admitted, then remembered to answer the question about her arm. "Er... As for the sling. There was a giant... metal ariados... Galactic's doing... And then this Shaymin decided to explode." She rubbed at her injured arm carefully. "There... wasn't time to get to cover and so... A short flight an' a heavy landin' and I'm left one armed f'r a while. Wasn' the worst injured though."
She then began to muse over the film offerings. Oh dear. She was sure she knew where he was going to go over what to watch, but maybe she could find something in that film selection to take them away from the surveillance tape idea; surely that could only bring trouble on them.
"I like fantasty too..." She agreed with Saleen "It's n'more broad then sci-fi, I think... I do kind o' like the sound of that ditto one... And 'm a sucker for ghost stories... What out of it were y' interested in seeing most?" Asked of anyone.
