Taking a step back, GBL took note in the position his opponent was in. Seated and dazed. Shaking out his leg, GBL run out and aimed a shining wizard, not caring what shape his knee was in.

Major Devastation felt woozy, but he managed to recover some of his wits and noticed the charging kick coming at him. He would attempt to lean back and pull his head out of the range of Jay's flying foot. If successful, he would try to grab the foot as it passed by to, hopefully, set up for a potential heel hook.

Well, how annoying that was. He missed, and he was caught. Feeling his leg snatched, GBL would try to use his free leg to kick away at Major. He truly didn't need this for his leg.

The good news for Devastation was that he managed to avoid getting kicked in the head, and even caught his opponent's foot. The bad news...he was now being peppered with kicks from GBL's free leg which forced him to relinquish his grip before he could secure the submission hold.
After letting go of his opponent's limb, Major would scoot back a few feet before starting to get back up to a vertical base.

GBL felt his foot released and got himself back up to a vertical base. He turned to face his opponent as he now had to find himself a good game plan. Anything to work up to his main dance.

Once the challenger was back to his feet, Major Devastation began to mentally go over his options while his opponent apparently did likewise. His overall objective was the same, finishing what Brandon started at Place Your Bets, but he'd just have to go about a bit differently.
While GBL was thinking, the big Texan would charge at the Intercontinental Champion, looking like he was going for a clothesline, but that was meant as a feint. Instead of aiming high, Major would try to slip behind his opponent and attempt to catch a rear waistlock. If successful, he would attempt to deliver a German Suplex.

GBL watched and soon found himself with his opponent behind him. Feeling the arms locked around him, he would take offense for a defense. He would look behind him and try to aim a couple of back elbows at Major's head.

The elbow shots were enough to once again get Major to give up his grip on GBL, but he would promptly attempt to retaliate for that with a clubbing forearm shot to the back.

He thought he was free, and he was ready to make a move. Instead, he took a shot to the back and stumbled forward, holding his back. His head turned a bit to glance behind. How was he taking this guy down?

"GBL has his work cut out for him tonight. With his knee hurting, its hard for him to mount any kind of offensive that might be able to take the Major down to the mat!"

As GBL staggered forward as a result of the forearm strike, Major Devastation rubbed the side of his head for a couple of seconds in an effort to relieve a bit of the soreness from the elbow strikes he had eaten moments earlier. When the champ glanced back, without saying a word, the Marine would invite his opponent to "bring it".

Bring it, huh? GBL spun himself back to face his opponent. He had to go on a random offense. Dig into what made him who he is, today. GBL rushed his opponent and ended up feigning what would look like a left-arm clothesline as he spun himself in front of his opponent, dropping low, to aim a spinning back elbow to the stomach of Major.

When Major Devastation saw what appeared to be a clothesline coming his way, he went with the obvious response, which would be sidestepping to avoid it...and ended up perfectly positioned to eat a spinning back elbow to the solar plexus. The elbow to the gut caused the bigger man to stumble backward as he held his stomach.

( Major wins after ducking a Moonlight Dance (Roaring Elbow) and GBL noticed 2.0. at the announce table. GBL turned around and was hit with Major's Mother Of All Bombs(Super TigerBomb.) from the canvas instead of a turnbuckle. )
