Verla sighed and opened her eyes again to stare at everything around her one last time. She still felt dizzy and wondered why she didn't plan ahead...her parents always made sure she had everything she needed before heading anywhere, "Yeah...even though I'm usually better at it than my brother."

The darker one scratched his head, not sure what to say or think, "Uh...You should head in then, figure out how he's doing and catch up on old times. My friend and I have some things we need to do ourselves. Like figure out where the hell my little sis is."
"There, there...you'll figure it out, yeah?" The blond slapped the ebony haired male on the back.
"Ah, shut the hell up, Gaulz!"

"Hm? You have a brother too?" Ibsen asked. Well, it wasn't very often that a sibling was mentioned in a conversation. At least, not in his experience of helping people out. "Is he still back up in Empyrean?"
He looked ahead, the trees were beginning to clear out for the light. Not so far from town, that's good. The sooner they got to town, the sooner Verla could get some help.

"Hey, maybe my friend has seen her. I know he travels around a lot so there might be a chance?" the young mage asked. "I mean, it couldn't hurt to ask, right?" Her long pointed ears tilted down a little. It was like she didn't know if she was making a mistake of asking or not. Then again, she might as well gotten strange looks from entering the bar by herself.

"Yeah. He's my older brother." She paused when she was asked the question, "I dunno....As far as I knew he was still in the Royal Guard."

Gaulz and Aittus looked at one another before looking back at the girl.
"Sure, let's check it out." Aittus smiled, "If she's really here, then that would mean she's at least as ok as she can be.

"Royal guard? Hm, I wonder who he is. I might have met him. . . If we were stationed in the same place," Ibsen mused out loud. It really wasn't every day that he helped out someone who had some connections to the guard. His thoughts began to drift off to his sister and mother. He had a feeling that things weren't doing so great back up home. However, he just really hoped that he was wrong. The last thing his family needed was to think that he was just as dead as his father and brother. Damn those blood hawks.

The mage smiled, "I hope so. Oh, sorry, I kinda forgot to introduce myself. I'm Sibelle. I'm glad that you're helping me out. I hope I can return the favor some time."

"The name's Gaulz, I'm a-well....I was a Mercenary back at home. Now I spend most of my days drinking and shooting at things."
"I'm Aittus, I was part of the Royal Guard, but some problems with my sister rose up and I went on leave to handle her final dues...." He scratched his head, "Then I went off with my friend here and got myself in some trouble and got myself killed. Bad luck, yeah?" He laughed slightly with his hand's in his pockets, but then he looked down at her, "Well, let's meet this friend of yours, alright?"

Verla gave a small nod and looked at him, "Yeah. He was a mechanic for the Royal Guard, one of the funniest, but he was skilled at his work. I don't know what happened to him after I wound up here...I don't know if he went vigilantly justice on me or not...." She sighed and rested her head on the crook of his neck, not trying to be romantic or anything like that, but her head and neck was rather uncomfortable,

Sibelle nodded in agreement to Aittus, "Right." The mage gave a wide smile and started to head towards the bar. Her staff bounced as it floated behind her, ever so close to its master. Every now and then she swung her arm far back enough to smack her fingers right into the wooden weapon. Sibelle didn't react much to the pain, it seemed like she was used to that swinging sensation of pain. Or maybe, her head was in the clouds.

"He's a mech? Hmm, I wouldn't have known him then. Unless it was one of the guys my sister brought home," Ibsen gave more thought into the matter. "Your brother isn't Xenos, is he?" the ranger asked. Oh hell, this was going to be rather interesting. Though a few things didn't match up right. Then again, he might be mixing people up with different occupations or something.

"No, his name is Aittus Langel." She smiled softly, glad to be having a civil conversation with someone for the first time in a long time.

Aittus shook his head as he watched. He knew the girl's head was in the clouds, but he didn't seem to mind the fact that there were more like it floating around in Arad.
Spotting the Launcher he saw come in, Gaulz nods slightly in said direction, "That him Sibelle?" He asked as he pushed a few strands away from his face.

"That name does not ring any bells. He probably was stationed somewhere else," Ibsen mused. By the time the ranger got his attention back to the road, he was already in Hendon Myre. He raised his brows a bit in some surprise. Ibsen wasn't expecting the trip to be this short. He rolled his cigarette in his mouth and started to search for the healers house or whatever was an equivalent to a medic.

The launcher had his head down on his arms as if he dozed off on the table. From the looks of it, he was out like a light. No alcohol needed.
Sibelle looked over to where Gaulz was pointing at. Sure enough, the launcher at the table fit the description. "It looks like him," she nodded and walked by the exhausted launcher. The mage poked the white haired launcher's hand, "Dyaus? Is that you?"

Aittus and Gaulz followed after her and watched the sleeping gunner.
"Man, and I always have to have some booze in my system to get some sleep" Mused Gaulz as he tapped his chin, "Lucky b*****d...."
"Wow, he really is tired...." Aittus watched the sleeping Launcher.

Verla looked up, "That was a shorter trip than expected I think...." she mused slightly, "Why is it that when I start a good conversation, it ends shortly"

Sibelle only had to poke the launcher's shoulder once to get his attention.
Pain shot up through his back, causing him to flinch and groan. Dyaus pushed himself off the table and looked at the mage with a tired face. He had to do a double take, "Sibelle? Oh man, don't tell me I'm actually hallucinating." Dyaus rubbed his eyes with one hand in a vain attempt to focus.
"YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAA! DYAUS!" Sibelle squealed as she clung onto the launcher's arm. She really didn't care if everyone else in the bar was staring at the two of them. The mage was just happy to see one of her friends made it out of shadow thunderland alive. "Teeh hee! Oh, have you seen Seif?"
"No," Dyaus was finally wide awake, though he was pretty groggy and visibly still exhausted. "I really don't know where he is if he made it out of there. Slayers aren't exactly known to fall easily. Have a bit of faith in him, yeah?" The launcher looked at the other two empyreans with the mage, "Are you two are friends of Sibelle?"

Ibsen laughed, "Don't worry, we can continue this after you get fixed up." He entered a doctor's clinic and let the doctors take Verla off his back, "Take it easy now, Verla."

Aittus and Gaulz looked at one another and then to Dayus and Sibelle. Aittus opened his mouth first, "Nah. She happened to stop us on our way out. Lookin for you actually. We saw you come in, but man, do you look tired."
Gaulz scratched his head, "So you're a launcher, eh? Damn thing is pretty heavy, but I guess you eventually get use to it....or you're suppose to." He laughed slightly and rubbed his neck, "Yeah...I know how these damn things feel...they're a bloody nightmare...."
Aittus laughed, "My name is Aittus Langel. I actually have a question for you. Did you happen to see a girl with black hair, skin like mine....wears a light brown hat and is always smoking like a chimney? She happens to be my little sis I've been lookin' for her"

Verla looked at him and smiled giving a small nod, "Fair deal, Ibs. Thanks again for saving me back there. You and your slayer friend saved my life, big time...."

"It does not help that they get heavier as you go," Dyaus groaned as he continued to wake himself up in vain. He leaned back onto the chair and sighed. "As for your sister Aittus, I've got no clue. I just got back to town from West Coast. There's a lot of empyreans over there, if I had to guess. . . .You sister may be as well." The launcher closed his eyes and shook his head, "No guarantees though."
Sibelle looked up to Aittus, "I guess that's a start, right?"

"You can thank Kathel after I haul his a** out of poison thunderland," Ibsen grinned. "We'll be at the bar in town once we're out."

Aittus gave a small nod before looking back at the launcher, "Yeah. Thanks you two. Hope you have a good day." He turned around as Gaulz tipped his non existant hat and walked away as well, "West Coast, eh? Fine. Sounds like a plan"

Dyaus watched as the two empyreans left. "I hope he finds his sister all right." He looked over to the mage, "So what were you planning o doing after you found me?"
Sibelle placed her hands on her hips, "Find Seifert of course!" She let her arms down with a sigh, "Hopefully I'll find him around here. If not, I have to go back to West Coast anyways."
"Hmm, knowing how big West Coast is, they might be around by the time you get back. Hell if I know though, I'm just guessing their luck." the launcher shrugged.

"Yeah but he doesn't have the best sense of direction. Anyways, I'm heading out." Ibsen nodded to the ranger and walked out of the clinic. He tossed out his used cigarette and lit up a fresh one from his pack. The ranger checked his remaining count, and replaced it back into his pocket fairly satisfied with the number.
He then started walking towards the forest again, taking his sweet damned time. If luck would have it, the slayer was probably wandering around the forest all lost again. Probably away from the center of the madness. . Maybe. "Ehhh. . ."
