Chivalry. Apparently I was born in the wrong era. As much as I want it to exist (because I believe in it and I love doing chivalrous acts), it doesn't. Every male that I've talked to/work with think I'm stupid and that my morals and beliefs will get me no where.

Dodos. Think about it. If we can clone a Mammoth from ancient remains and an elephant, what's stopping us from bringing Dodos back to life from pigeons? Humans hunted them to extinction for a food source. I WANT TO EAT AN EXTINCT ANIMAL!!

Of course, the time period that chivalry is known for also treated women completely unequal. I think everyone should just be treated fairly.

I want to believe that there will eventually be a pokemon game that finally drops the turn-based battling, has actual models of pokemon instead of pictures and moving pictures, and has pokemon actually roaming the world, dropping all random encounters. Side stories don't count; I want it to be their main game.
This will probably NEVER happen, even though it's every child's dream after Pokemon being real. You can't tell me that's not part of why Pokemon Snap is so great and loved by pretty much anyone who has ever liked pokemon. Basically, with this game, all they'd have to do is give you a camera item and you could play Pokemon Snap wherever you want. The 3DS carts can hold a lot of memory. I know it's possible.
Edit: And besides that, how lame would it be for them to make a 3DS game that's not even 3D?

I'm positive that women still appreciate when you treat them like a Lady sometimes; simple things like opening a door if you're nearby, or helping them carry s**t around. I feel like 'Equality' refers more to Occupational opportunities and professional stuff like that. But when it comes to 1-on-1 interactions with women in society, I don't think you'll get slapped for having respect for members of the opposite sex. I dare you to argue with me. stare

I don't think it's so much that sort of common courtesy is dead as it is that it's not just behavior you reserve for people you want to bang anymore.

So you think men should treat women EXACTLY the same way they treat other guys? I didn't say that you shouldn't give people you're interested in special attention. I just said that the sort of favors you are describing are nowhere near limited to men doing it for women anymore. If you get to the door first and there are people behind you, you hold it open if you're not in a hurry. If you see someone walking the same way as you with a heavy load, you offer to help if your own hands aren't full. Male, female, old, young, whatever, I feel like a douchebag if I don't offer to help with something so simple, and I don't see it as being 'chivalrous' or treating anyone specially.
