I approve as well! It makes me sad to see so much opportunity lost in the clutter, but I can't shake this imposing feeling of optimism everytime I think about a clean slate.

I appreciate the wealth of feedback from everyone. I think we should all have an open discussion about this in the UG tinychat in order to move forward.
Let me know when an ideal time for everyone would be; I know some of you live in different zones.

I am all for the clean slate idea. Lolth should purge out the wicked and the dying and leave only the active and strong to remain and rebuild. I think it should be a yearly thing,to purge the guild of dead forums and houses. I also appologise for my not being active, I have recently moved and have not had much time for gaia seeing as I have been putting in 50 hour or more work weeks
I hear ya. I've been working overtime like crazy. :c

Um I have a question.
I've read over the chat and I'm wondering when all the changes will take place? You said something about October and having mid-October when the end of the changes will happen.
So are we unable to create characters, get approved, and roleplay in till then?
Or will we just lose what we did and have to start fresh.

It should only be the story itself that is being reset. As far as I know, you should still be able to continue creating characters...provided that they are drow or one of the more common Underdark races. Fiendish characters, on the other hand, will be suspended until further notice.

With everyone voting yes I don't think my opinion should matter much. Personally I didn't like the idea from the start. But after reading through other people's opinions I took that into consideration. I understand the intentions of it all and I think it would definitely be good for Au'shinduago and all that but I'm not sure about Ulorbbath. Only because that city in particular is the most active and has a greater storyline. Something that I really enjoy reading and how it can effect all of the Houses. I'm not sure how the clean slate will effect my characters and how I can adjust to that. Especially since my House in particular relies heavily on the past and their roots. The way I see it is its going to be a sequel without the original story that won't be there. And I don't really see how it will help the guild. I mean people who join who don't read Forgotten Realms or play D&D or don't have any reference for that matter still may not understand with how we work things. But if we keep it how it is we work with it. Because the guild is designed to allow people to jump in. That's how I learned. And that's how I think other people should learn. But that's just my opinion.
