________________________________________________________________________________ _____ ___ _ Just as the Rattata had guessed, the boy did read his name off the delivery. What was unexpected was, why his name was mentioned in the boy's sleep. It was strange since nobody had mentioned his name at all, until now, that is. The Rattata decided to allow the peculiar question slide, for now. With his attention still on the boy, he noticed the Tediursa's face turning a paler color and his hand pressing over his stomach. Only then did he realize that the boy was trembling. Taroro's heart soften, yet again. It was a side of him that he didn't want anyone else to know. With the exception of the Haunter. But now, he was just giving in to it, because of this new 'injured animal'. He moved himself so that he was sitting right in front of the boy and bent forward, putting his hand over the boy's forehead as he did. His own forehead pressing against the back of his hand to compare their temperatures. The younger male was cold and still trembling. For some reason, the Rattata felt a little worried and he didn't fail to show it on his face either. "You need rest...," he said softly, pulling himself away from the boy. The Tediursa really wasn't in a very good condition and his actions confirmed it. The reason was still oblivious to the Rattata, but whatever it was, the frail looking boy was suffering from it. Badly.
"Shin, get some food from the kitchen," he ordered the Haunter. However, his attention was still on the sickly boy, trying to figure out what to do with him. Not even so much as a glance at the man. Why he was acting this way, he didn't quite understand himself. This was the first time he had actually taken care of someone, a person that is. He decided that he was going to go with the flow instead. Unless anything unexpected came up, then that would be a different story. Taroro could have fetched the food by himself, but seeing as how the Haunter was acting strangely hostile towards the younger boy, he didn't want to leave the two alone. No, he couldn't. His 'assistant' had something to say, something that would possibly trouble him or the boy. And with the Tediursa's current condition, he couldn't take the chance. Hopefully, the man would oblige to his request. Although it wasn't much of a request, it was more of an order. ________________________________________________________________________________ _____ ___ _ (( It's alright Moku~ o v o no rush no rush~ The internet is always evil anyway. "A trickster's smile" He kept his face expressionless for the most part, even as the boy doubled over in the bed, but his eyes were as observant as ever, darting back and forth between the two. He wasn't quite sure if it was a withdrawal kicking in or if the Teddiursa really was hungry, or even both, but it still made him wary. And, at the order he was just given, he almost sent the boy a bit of a resenting look. The Rattata didn't know what he knew, and he was aware of it, but didn't that order count as 'abusing power'? Shin didn't really stop to think about it, but it didn't feel quite right. This whole thing didn't feel 'quite right'. But, he kept his eyes from looking up at his 'boss', and slid back off the bed soon after. "You're not being cautious enough," he mumbled, walking back out of the room and leaving the doors wide open. He didn't want to risk them being in an enclosed area, or the doors being locked, for a variety of reasons.
The Haunter headed down the hall, walking again more quickly than usual, and found himself at the kitchen. He figured that Taroro was trying to keep the two of them apart, or at least not alone at the same time. He had maids and servants he could've sent to get food, but sent him instead. His eyes darted over to one of the cooks after a moment, speaking, "Your master wants food for his guest, make something. I don't care what." His tone wasn't nearly as friendly as it usually was, but he tried to keep himself calm. His emotions really were starting to get the better of him, which he didn't appreciate. Normally, he wouldn't be feeling the worry he felt, or the jealousy, dislike, hostility. He'd usually still be as carefree as ever. But, he was feeling all those things, and it was confusing for him. Shin traced a finger lightly over one of the counters, watching it while thinking to himself.'But why,' he thought, pausing his finger after a moment. It was frustrating, not having the answers he actually needed.
Soon enough, the food was done and he was handed a tray by one of the cooks, raising an eyebrow at the food on it before taking it and heading back out of the kitchen. 'More sandwiches,' he thought to himself, chuckling a little quietly while heading back down the hall.
"Sure you wanna trust it?"

There was a sudden weight in front of him, following in short a warm hand on his cold skin & it felt quite pleasant compared to the pain he was enduring at the moment. Unfortunately, he didn't know the pain, much worse pain, he was going to endure the longer he was kept from his drugs. The Teddiursa didn't know of the pain since he never went longer than 2 hours without them, so this much was new to him. The words were soft & kind, something he was not used to from another male. A weak smile pressed its way over his pale face but didn't last long as the pain continued to progress. But the mention of rest did cause him to edge back to a laying position, revealing the pained expression he wore & the mere word food set his bowels off to let him know what the pain was caused by. In an instant as the Haunter left he sat up, regetting the action once again as he felt a wave of dizziness for a few moments, but after it went he looked to the Rattata with a red bitten face knowing he'd have to ask or else he'd ruin the bed & that would be worse than just simply asking for the bathroom. "I need to... use... the..." He always hated asking when the ecstasy made it's way out of his system because it was always harder. "Can you take me to the bathroom?" His orange eyes had darted away from the purple haired male next to him while his face remained flushed from asking a question he found to be embarrassing.

________________________________________________________________________________ _____ ___ _ "Ah..." The Rattata stared blankly at the blushing brown haired boy for a moment, remembering that his room was one of the few bedrooms which didn't have a bathroom connected to it. The nearest one, was down the hall way. Maybe he shouldn't have used his room to nurse the boy but one with an attached bathroom instead. That would probably make things easier wouldn't it? He would have to change the Tediursa's room later, if it was more convenient that way. Sliding one of his hands under the boy's knee and supporting his back with his free hand, he lifted the boy up, smiling at him again. It really did felt like he was taking care of an animal. Except this one even told him when 'it' needed the bathroom. Which was good. "Since you're sick." Taroro laughed softly, making his way out of the bedroom, while holding the younger boy firmly in his arms.
The distance from the bedroom to the bathroom, wasn't very far. But the Rattata still insisted that he carried the boy there. Mainly because he had zero resistance to animals that were injured, sick or just unable to fend for themselves. Normally, he wouldn't bother being so nice to people. So why was he acting this way now? Maybe it was because of the strangely similar animal features the kid had, or maybe it reminded the boy about himself. He hated being alone, and as far the Rattata knew, the Tediursa was currently in that situation. At least, that was how they found him.
A familiar figure soon crossed their path, the Haunter, carrying a tray in his hands. 'Sandwiches?' The boy let a smile creep up his lips and it somehow made him wonder if it was the only thing his chefs could cook up. Taroro's golden eyes moved to look at the Haunter's and his smile faded. Pausing in his steps, he looked at the man, "Put them on my table," he stated before continuing on into the direction he was heading, his attention turning away from the man. But as he passed the Haunter, he let out a small "Thanks", that was hardly audible and he smiled softly. The Rattata was glad that the man didn't object to his request, not that he had shown any signs of objection yet. At least, none that he knew of. That 'thanks' was also meant for another reason or maybe a few more. He understood perfectly about the current situation he was in, although still completely unaware about the drugs that the young Tediursa had but nonetheless, still aware of his current position.
As the Rattata arrived at the bathroom entrance, he let the boy down gently from his hold and pushed the door open for him. "There you go." He said, sounding as if he led a cat to it's litter box, waiting patiently for the boy to react the same way an animal would. Although Taroro was pretty much aware himself that the boy wasn't an animal. But it wouldn't hurt to treat him like on now, would it? After all, the Rattata would probably pamper the boy if he did. Wasn't that a good thing? For the Tediursa, that is.

He was taken back at first, at loss for words so to say as his face heated even further being scopped up into the boy's arms. Sure he was light, but being held up like so by the male surprised him not only because guys usually didn't do that to him but because the Rattata didn't look to be all that strong. I guess it's true looks are deciving. Once his stomach decided to subside for a moment he gave a weak smile to the Rattata as he was carried. It was a nice feeling being pampered a bit for a change. No one he'd ever been with actually went out of their way to care for him, just merely threw things his way & turned their heads away or pampered him enough like an over caring mother. That much was usually just suffocating. It seemed though just because he was ill the Rattata felt obliged to carry him & he frowned at that. "I can walk on my own you know." His objection went unanswered though as they neared the room needed but halted briefly as the Haunter passed by them, & he felt that sudden anxious feeling again, like he wanted to hide or else the Haunter would... would... he didn't know but he didn't like the feelings that arose around the male. Fror that brief moment he tried to act like the Haunter wasn't there & looked to the floor from his side waiting until they were finally away from him, but seconds after was set down in front of a door that was opened for him.
A blank look, or rather a surprised one? Aret looked into the bathroom, then back at Taro almost as if asking it was really okay to go & use such a nice bathroom. It was silly, but he really was amazed with the decor of the entire place, even the bathroom, he didn't linger looking at the Rattata much longer though as his stomach started acting up again & he went into the bathroom with a rushed "Thank you." shutting the door behind him & flipping on the lights. It was unpleasant taking care of his business on the ceramic throne with the male outside the door, or atleast he assumed he was, but was glad to have his stomach relieved & took the after opportunity inside the bathroom to check his "tail" only to find it empty, excluding the stray pill of ecstasy that fell into his hand as he poured what contents of his "tail" had in it. "This isn't good..." He murmured to himself peering at the pill in his hand, then inside tail to make sure it was empty. "This is really bad..." He continued slowly cracking now that he realized he was completely out. In desperation he threw the ecstasy in his mouth to try & ease his worry, there had to be some way to get some more without getting caught. There had to be.
While waiting for the ecstasy to due it's job, Aret stared himself down in the mirror the bathroom had trying to think of some way to get more. But as soon as the pills took it's toll he calmed down enough to place his "tail" back in place & exit the bathroom, his anxiety & paranoia had been so to say... flushed down the toilet. With a bright smile again he stood before Taro now almost as if he hadn't been feeling ill to begin with, which would normally raise questions if anyone was already suspicious & if that wasn't enough Aret further approached the Rattata & attached himself to his arm. "All better now." The Teddiursa chimed lovingly.

"A trickster's smile" There were maids staring at him, and he was aware of it. His back was pressed to a wall, peaking around the close corner with an eye. 'What am I doing?' he thought to himself, sending a look to the maids which caused them to squeak their usual squeaks and dash off to pretend like they were working, again. 'Would this be considered lurking, or spying?' he thought again, bopping his own forehead with his palm after a moment and sighing quietly. He'd passed the two of them in the hall, his 'boss' carrying the newcomer bridal style, which didn't really surprise him. Shin had heard the 'thank you' that was mumbled at him, but didn't really have time to react to it. It made him feel guilty somehow, probably because he was acting like he was. But, really, he was only acting so off his usual self because of the Teddiursa. The boy bothered him, mainly because of the drugs, but also because Taro was showing him such affection, it made him..unsettled? He sighed again, glancing back around the corner just in time to see the mentioned Teddiursa latch onto the Rattata. He ground his teeth silently at the sight, before pausing and bopping his forehead again. 'Treat it like work, treat it like work,' he chanted mentally, 'Besides, I didn't have the time to check and see if he had any more drugs on him. He might've taken something while he was in there...which would explain his now 180 behavior.' Shin continued to observe quietly until they were at a close enough distance, turning quickly and walking back into his 'boss's' bedroom, plopping on the side of the bed opposite to where the Teddiursa had been laying.
The Haunter reached into one of his pockets and pulled out his cellphone, punching in keys at an alarming speed while keeping his eyes trained on the screen. 'Let's find out more about this new little 'animal'...' he thought to himself, listening carefully for the two boys. He was able to find out what kind of drugs were with the boy in the alley when he spotted him in the morning, as well as the fact that the boy didn't have a permanent address, which didn't make Shin's opinion of him any better. But, putting his personal feelings aside, it really made him suspicious. After all, Taro was technically quite wealthy, maybe not personally, yet, but would be, and he lived in a mansion. It was possible that the boy could be planning anything, and he had to look at it from every angle he could.
His eyes darted up once the two finally returned, snapping his cellphone shut and sliding it back into his pocket, returning his attention to the two. Shin was watching the boy carefully, but kept his face calm. In reality, his mind was going over possibilities, outcomes, worse case scenarios, solutions, and how to deal with it all.
"Sure you wanna trust it?"

________________________________________________________________________________ _____ ___ _ The door clicked open and the Tediursa came out, looking much better than before and latched himself onto Taroro's arm. The Rattata blinked at the boy for a moment, surprised by his sudden change in behavior. He couldn't help but find it a little suspicious but even if the Rattata wanted to ask why, there was no way the boy was going to tell it to him straight. Putting a smile on his face, he looked at the smaller male who was much livelier than how he was back at the bedroom and placed his hand on the Tediursa's forehead again. Strange, he wasn't as cold as he was before. Whatever the boy had done with himself in the bathroom must have really helped his body warm up. If only the Rattata knew exactly what it was. Although Taroro was sure that the boy could walk by himself now, making it unnecessary for him to be carried back. Putting the matter aside, yet again, he removed his hand from the boy's forehead, bringing it back down to his side. "I guess we'll be heading back now?"
Leading the boy back in the direction of his room by the arm, he felt as if something was waiting for them back there. Maybe it was how the Haunter had looked when they passed each other or perhaps it was the fact that the man had already figured out some sort of information about the Tediursa? Although, he did notice at one point that the man was acting a little differently than usual. The Rattata became oddly absorbed in his thoughts over the Haunter's strange behavior, almost forgetting about the boy he was accompanying. So engrossed that he himself hadn't noticed that his usual serious expression had soften again. It wasn't normal for him, to feel this softhearted. It had to be the Tediursa and the Haunter's fault, it just had to be.
Pursing his lips, he shook the thought off. What ever it was, he would have to clarify everything later, with both the man and the newcomer. As soon as they arrived at his bedroom, the boy peeped in through the doors. As expected, Shin was resting on the Rattata's bed, doing some 'work', being as diligent as ever. The boy would have to reward him someday, the man just worked too hard for his own good. Strolling back into the room casually after that few moments of 'spying' on the Haunter, he glared at the man who slipped his cellphone back into one of his many pockets. Aware that the man was probably searching for any information related to the boy who was standing beside the Rattata. With his usual serious attitude back, Taroro nudged the Tediursa softly, motioning him to return to the bed. "Get some rest, alright? The food is on the table if you get hungry." He smiled lightly, before turning his attention to the Haunter again, his smile faded from his lips. "Come with me, Shin." The boy was serious. He knew that the Haunter had something to hide, something that concerned the other boy. Even if the Rattata was reluctant to find out what it was, he would have to eventually. But what ever it was, it wouldn't change the fact that he had already taken responsibility for the boy and he was going to let Shin know. Whatever the reason was, he couldn't let the boy go now. Not after he had told the Tediursa that he could stay. Taroro just wasn't the kind of person who would go back on his words. Grabbing the purple haired man by the wrist, he pulled him out of the bedroom by force. Whether the man wanted to follow the boy or not, wasn't his decision to make right now.
Releasing his grip, the boy leaned against the wall, slightly out of sight from the bedroom entrance. He folded his arms, letting out a soft sigh. His eyes moved to meet the Haunter's glaring at him the way he usually did. "I don't want any trouble," he stated, his eyes moving away from the man, to the direction of the bedroom doors. "I will bare with the responsibilities... What ever they are."________________________________________________________________________________ _____ ___ _

"A trickster's smile" He didn't resist when the Rattata pulled him out of the room, no matter what the reason was. He didn't want to be around the Teddiursa, and when he heard his 'boss's' next words, he found himself uncharacteristically frustrated. This whole day was frustrating him, bit by bit. Shin reached his hand up quickly and slammed his palm against the wall in the space next to the side of the boy's head, gritting his teeth a bit. "You already have trouble," he said stiffly, turning his head to the side after a moment and letting out a long, irritated sigh. He was wound up tight, which was unusual for him, he was tense, tense and with no outlet.
The Haunter moved his hand over after a moment, sliding his fingers along some of the boy's lavender hair while glancing at him, moving his hand back to his side. It was a small gesture, but Shin had difficulties saying whatever he was feeling. It was like this pressure in his chest that wanted out, but he didn't know how to get it out, so all he could really do was try to act on it, which was probably why their 'business discussions' always ended up the way they did. "I'm...just worried," he finally said quietly, glancing to the side again. It wasn't like him to feel shy, but for some reason he was.
The Haunter reached over after a moment, grabbing the boy's hand gently and tugging him further down the hall, away from the door. He figured it was probably time to tell the Rattata what he knew, and he didn't want the newcomer to hear it. He stopped once they were at least half way down the long hall, turning back to the boy. Shin walked around so that his back was mainly facing the end of the hall where Taroro's bedroom door was, before reaching into one of his pockets to pull out the bag he had with the boy's drugs and syringe in them, holding them up in front of himself and out of sight from anyone behind him. "These are his. Cocaine and morphine. They were laying on the ground next to him, but you didn't see them when you were examining him," he said quietly, partly because he didn't want the Teddiursa to hear, and partly because he didn't feel very energetic at the moment. "He has no permanent address, and I suspect that "Aret Gais" is not his real name. It's only been showing up for the past couple of years," he continued, sliding the bag back into his pocket after a moment. "You really need to be more observant, Taro," he said a little softer, not really scolding the boy, though he should've been, "I don't trust him, and you should be careful. I don't know if he has any more drugs on him, but when he runs out he'll be trying to get more, and if he can't the withdrawals will start. And on a more formal note," he added in, his voice and face turning a bit more serious, "this cannot get out, to your father, servants, or anyone else. It could greatly damage your reputation, in the social world and the working world."
His eyes glanced behind himself briefly, checking to make sure that the Teddiursa wasn't trying to peak, though he wouldn't be able to hear what Shin was saying even if he tried to listen in. Shin was aware of those sorts of things, how quiet his voice should be for general distances, he had to for his line of work. He returned his attention to the Rattata, finishing what he wanted to say. "I've no doubt your father and the servants will eventually find out, especially if the situation turns for the worse. But, whatever happens, it must not leave this house," he paused, giving the boy a moment to try and absorb everything he had said. "What do you plan to do, 'boss'?" he finished, genuinely curious about what the boy's decision would be.
"Sure you wanna trust it?"

________________________________________________________________________________ _____ ___ _ His sight was greeted by the sudden slam of the Haunter's palm against the wall, making the boy flinch and his attention turned towards the man unknowingly. The Rattata wasn't dumb, he knew that the man wasn't happy about something and his expression definitely showed the hostility he felt towards the situation. But it was strange, the way the Haunter acted. The boy had never seen him behave this way before. In fact, there were so many strange things happening around him today that, he was starting to get confused. Taroro held his breath as the man slid his hand along his hair, his hands weakening, dropping from his chest down to his sides. He was paralyzed by the tense atmosphere between them. What made the situation even more confusing was, the Haunter's next words. The boy's eyes widen in shock. Those words... were something the Rattata had never expected to hear from the man. As the man turned his attention away from the boy, he too looked down at his feet and his expression saddened as he stared blankly at the ground. The Haunter was... worried? As much as it pained him to admit it, he was slightly annoyed by the man's concern for him. It just wasn't normal. He didn't want the man's usual upbeat attitude to disappear because of something like this, knowing that it was his own fault to begin with. Maybe he shouldn't have brought home the brown haired boy. But complaining over that now, was just too late.
Feeling the light tug on his hand, the boy allowed the man to lead them further away from the bedroom door, his eyes turning away to the side, not wanting to look at the Haunter. As they stopped, the man pulled out something from one of his various pockets and started to explain the situation clearly to the boy. The more he told him, the more serious the boy got. Aret, no, that wasn't even his real name. The boy was found to posses drugs. It didn't shock the Rattata for some reason. Many youngsters nowadays didn't know any better, some were even forced into taking them. There had to be a reason why he did and Taroro planned to find out. So, as convincing as the Haunter thought the evidence was, it wasn't enough to change the boy's mind. Although he had to admit, he wasn't being very observant at first. Shin telling him, made the boy realize that he hadn't thought about the consequences either, before he had taken the Tediursa home with him. Taroro took notice of the Haunter's serious tone of voice, his eyes still trying to avert the man's gaze.
The man was right, it could damage his reputation, badly. He knew that, but still... He was stubborn. He didn't like going back on his words. Not after promising the boy that he could stay... However, as the next heir to his father's company, he felt yet another sense of responsibility resting on his shoulders. It was a hard decision to make or rather, a difficult question to answer. 'What was he planning to do?' Staying silent for a moment with his eyes still fixed onto the ground, he gritted his teeth. "I..." He mumbled. Considering his position, he was in a tight situation right now. There wasn't much he could do, other than take care of the boy and see what might happen. Another option, was to kick him out but the Rattata wasn't ready to do that. Possibly, never. At least, not until the boy seemed less like a frail animal to him. "..I still have to take care of him," he continued, biting his lips at the uncertainty of his reply. Finishing off his sentence, the boy turned back into the direction of his room. Why he said that, he wasn't sure either. He just couldn't turn away someone he had already considered, 'under his care'.________________________________________________________________________________ _____ ___ _

"A trickster's smile" A small smile finally broke out on his lips at the boy's words, his face softening again. He hadn't really expected the Rattata to kick the newcomer out, he wouldn't be his 'boss' if he did. Shin just wanted the boy to understand the gravity of the situation, and hopefully learn a few more things along the way. Even though the Teddiursa would be staying, the fact that the tension he'd been feeling almost all day was somehow lifted made him feel better. It didn't hurt any that he finally got the Rattata to himself, even if it was only for a few minutes.
After the boy had turned back to his room, he moved closer quickly and wrapped his arms around the Rattata's smaller frame, holding him from behind. "I figured you'd say that," he replied, still keeping his voice down. "I was a little jealous," he finally admitted, leaning his head down a bit to rest his chin on the boy's shoulder gently, putting on a small pout, "you weren't giving your poor assistant any attention. And after all the work I did for you, too," he teased, a small grin on his face. Shin raised his head after a moment, bringing his mouth to the side of the boy's face, "'Haunter Liiick'," he mumbled, licking Taro's cheek a little, lightly, before standing back up straight and unwrapping his arms.
Shin walked out from behind the boy, starting to head back to the bedroom where the Teddiursa still was. "I have to admit though," he started again, glancing back at the boy over his shoulder, "I think I like that soft side of yours, it's cute." His voice was a little teasing, as usual, but his eyes were serious. He flashed a grin briefly before hopping a bit down the hall. His mood had improved greatly, somehow, and he felt much more willing to deal with the whole situation now that he didn't have to keep everything bottled up to himself.

________________________________________________________________________________ _____ ___ _ Caught off guard by the Haunter's sudden grasp, the boy froze at the feeling of Shin's hands moving over his frame, making him gasp in shock. The man's voice sent a chill down his spine and left him speechless for that moment in time. While the Haunter was confessing and half teasing the boy, Taroro tried to hold in the nervousness that stirred in him during their close contact. His heart pounded hard onto his chest, making it hard to catch his breath. He was absolutely lost.
The pressure on his shoulder lifted, but then he felt something warm and ticklish brush past his cheek. "Nngh..." He winced, clenching his teeth together, a little surprised from the sudden motion of the Haunter. This was just too childish for him to tolerate, absolutely childish. And if there was anything he hated right now, it would be the Haunter. The Rattata's face burned red at his own reaction and partially at the man's words. He didn't mean to... make that sound, it just slipped out due to shock. Being released from the man's grip relaxed him a little but as soon as the Haunter made his looked back to make another comment, the boy tensed up again.
"I am not cute!" He shouted back, trying to relieve the stress built up in his chest by the comment made by the Haunter. His fist raised and his hand clenched tightly. If the man wasn't so far away from the boy, he would received a good punch from him, right about now. Something disturbed the boy though. Why was he always like this? Bursting out at the man ever time he teased the boy. Before he had met him, Taroro had always been serious, emotionless. Nothing around him affected him so much, the way Shin did. Now he was feeling all this... weird feelings. As much as he hated to admit, he was starting to open up. Letting out a heavy sigh, he followed behind the Haunter, back to his room where the Teddiursa was.________________________________________________________________________________ _____ ___ _

After he was escorted from the oddly silent walk from the bathroom, but didn't mind so much being too high on ecstasy ot really care even as Taro seemed to be thinking. But upon arriving to the room he was told to rest & nudged towards the bed, he gave off a pout ready to object that he was going to be lonely, but didn't get time to as he up & left with the Haunter. His pout remained as he watched them leave, then slowly eyed the food placed there. For some reason though it just didn't look to appetizing like it should have, then turned away as he slowly crept his way to the door faintly listening to what was going on. And from what he saw, it looked they were some sort of couple after all, just nothing too official. Maybe something shared behind doors, but nothing public. However before anything much more was conversed they took off further down the hall, making it useless to try & peep in on them. But he wasn't about to just drop it, even if he couldn't hear anything, maybe something would happen that would give him some sort of clue.
It didn't seem much came into few though, the Haunter just pulled something out of his coat & put it back in after showing it to the Rattata. Whatever it was seemed to shock him which made him more curious as to what it was. Aret then quickly noticed the look back from the Haunter & jumped back into the room hoping to go unnoticed, & after a few moments looked back out only to find them heading back & ran for the bed, diving into the blankets & laying down as if he'd been there all along. The loud shout was humorous though, hearing Taro shouting he wasn't cute, & chuckled to himself but the short time he'd known him already, he actually found him cute as well. Perhaps just not the same way as the Haunter though.

________________________________________________________________________________ _____ ___ _ As Taroro walked back into the room, his frustration seemed to lift from his chest and he smiled back at the boy who was supposedly, resting in his bed. Whatever the Haunter had said earlier, he pushed it to one side. Right now, all he wanted was to take care of that 'animal' he had picked up this morning, until he was in a better state of health. However, with the Rattata's new awareness of the drugs, he would have to keep a close eye on the boy. As Shin had mentioned, the boy needed to be more observant. The Teddiursa might have more drugs in his possession. Moving towards the bed, he leaned down to face the browned haired boy, face to face as he rested his palms on the edge of the bed. He wanted to do something to agitate the man, to get revenge for teasing him again but part of him was just reluctant to do whatever he wanted to do. His hand brushed through the boy's hair, his smile still plastered on his face. It really felt as if he was taking care of an animal, somehow, the same emotions came up while being with this frail boy. "I thought I told you to get some rest?" he teased, his voice was soft and gentle. Lifting his hand away, his smile disappeared and he moved himself so that he was sitting beside the boy. The bed was at least big enough for two, considering that Shin even stayed over for a few nights.
Looking out at the window for a moment, he then turned his attention to the Haunter. "It's getting late." The boy pointed out, gripping at the covers of his bed. It was late and Taroro hadn't noticed it until now but he was starting to feel even more exhausted than before. Today was somehow, eventful for him. Yet another day with something different for a change. The Rattata couldn't say he hated it. Somehow, he managed to get a few days off work, which meant giving him more time to take care of the boy. "And I'm sleeping right here." He added, flipping the bed sheet over his head. Whatever either one of them had to say, he didn't want to hear it. Besides, it was his house and they had no right to object to whatever the boy wanted. If they did then, the door would be waiting for them in the main hall. And although his clothes were uncomfortable to sleep in, the boy didn't want to change out just yet. He would probably have to sometime in the middle of the night but for now, the comfort of his bed was simply too difficult to resist. ________________________________________________________________________________ _____ ___ _

"A trickster's smile" Shin followed his 'boss' back into the room, watching the two situate themselves before flipping off the bedroom lights. The Rattata's actions irked him, as well as sleeping in the same bed as the Teddiursa, but he tried to keep himself calm. Instead, he just pulled over a chair next to the side of the bed that Taroro was sleeping on and took a seat, pulling his coat around him a little more and crossing his arms comfortably over his chest. 'I guess I'm not sleeping tonight,' he thought to himself, eyes glancing to the side after a moment. But, realistically, he'd probably fall asleep at some point. He wanted to stay awake to keep an eye on the Teddiursa and Taroro, but with all the emotional roller coastering he had been doing most of the day, he was a bit exhausted himself. Still, he'd be up for a pretty long while. Shin was a bit nocturnal and was usually out more during the night. Though, that kind of changed when he started hanging around his 'boss' more, as the boy had more of a day schedule and he found himself even more active than usual in a variety of ways.
The Haunter glanced over at the window after a bit, catching sight of the moon and staring at it for a few minutes before returning his attention back to the two boys. Even now, he was still going through things in his head. He'd relaxed quite a bit after venting earlier, but that didn't completely take away the worry, or the fact that he had a job to do.

At some point late in the night, or was it early in the morning? Shin had nodded off after yawning a few times, his head hanging down a bit with his arms lazily crossed, breathing quietly. It wasn't a deep sleep, but it was sleep. Shin had the habit of sleeping lightly, much lighter than most because of his other 'home' and the fact that his job was sometimes a bit risky. It worked in his favor though. If anyone tried anything while his 'boss' was asleep, he'd be sure to wake up almost immediately, or if anyone were to try anything on him, as well. Most would call it paranoia, but he just considered it as being cautious.
"Sure you wanna trust it?"

 Aret•Gais
He hesitated to look at the Rattata, unsure if he'd actually been caught or not, but chuckled softly as he neared & teased him about getting rest. Truthfully he wasn't very tired & wanted to get up & do something, but kept quiet about it & instead watched the other swap to the opposite side of the bed from him & go on slightly irratably about how he was going to sleep right there then disappeared under the sheets. It left Aret slightly confused as he stared at the lump under the sheets, perhaps it was his fault that Taro was upset? Nah, couldn't be. Just as he was about to inch closer to the warm body next to him, the Haunter came into his view making him stop where he was remembering their sort of secret relationship he witnessed in the hall. Instead he wrapped his own arms around his frail body & turned over to avoid the Haunter's piercing stare, staying awake most of the night just staring at the wall while the ecstasy continued it's toll on him until sometime in the morning, where he slowly dozed off eventually closing on the body of heat next to him. It was hard to stay warm when you have no insulation at all, which was what drew him to the Rattata. Since he was asleep he didn't know of the consequences he was probably in for by either of them.
