I would like a Suikoden game about Killey, Lorelai, and Zweig. Could play it through and switch between their view point in the game. They could even get a sindar based true rune, like the circle rune. Man, that wouldn't be too bad.
Also, I'm rolling the dice playing Chinchorin(?).

Screw Konami!
Although their last Suikoden (V) was pretty damn good, the screwed up 4, not sure about 3(never played(I'm looking into a PS2 Emulator!)). Tiekris or whatever was lame, i played for a little with my friends DS he has.
Anyway, I don't lik their chances! Lets make our own! And rename the characters and claim it as our own!
LoL. Na, maybe we should send it in?

Ok, I just submitted a contact form to Konami stating what our ideas were. This is what I got from sending the letter(Not a reply, just the after form thingy. Quote: Your inquiry has been received - Tracking Number E101006_0002 Thank you for your inquiry and/or comments. Please note that it may take a long time to reply or we may not be able to reply depending on the circumstances. Looks like either (A) I'm never going to get a reply (B) they will steal the idea and never credit, or reply, or (C) It isn't gonna go through to them. lol Ah well, now I play the waiting game..... *Waits 30 seconds* Screw this! To the PSP!

lol, thats allright your inquiry looks like my last comercial i sent to stride gum, still waiting a reply from that and its been three years lol. hey if they lose the license, there is nothing to stop us from picking it up and making that game. but all i can do is test and give ideas, no programming knowledge

...Er... I highly doubt Konami would sell us the trademark, of any kind. And even if we could buy it, it would likely be insanely expensive... and then they could probably sue for copyright infringement because it's only the NA trademark that's expired, the Japanese one is totally safe.

Who said anything about programing, couldn't we get out a huge loan, hire people, and we could be writers and costumers etc.
I mean, we don't need to do it ourselves. I don't know about you, but I'm only 17, I have a high chance of fail there.... although, I know someone at my school, a few years younger, but he is smart, doing workplacement at Big Ant Studios in Australia(I'm in Australia btw, so he isn't going overseas).
But I think I could ask for tips and all!

22 here but taking out loans is a tough thing to do, especially with something that would be a such a big risk most companies that do stuff like this start with nothing more then a garage and some free time and hand do it all,

Yeah... I'd love to do a fan project for Suiko (writing is my forte), but. Well. Taking out loans? Hiring people? That goes beyond fanproject funtimes and into a serious thing. Also, if this would go beyond a fun little fanproject and into a legitimate business venture (which could be claimed by paying employees and taking out loans), well, that's grounds for a lawsuit. And I don't want to be involved in a lawsuit.
What say, since I do like the idea of doing a fanproject and you guys do seem like nice guys, we keep it... more casual?

SUIKOINFO WHAAAT Looks like Suikoden hasn't been completely abandoend, folks! Konami has released info about TWO new Suikoden releases! First off... a Suiko4 pachislot machine? Uh, okay... If anyone goes to Japan, give us a report? Second, as you may know, Genso Suikoden's fifteenth anniversary is this December 15th. And what would you expect Konami to release? Nothing, personally. But what we ARE getting is THIS! The Genso Suikoden COMPLETE OST SET! Yes, this set includes the OSTs for ALL THE GAMES, including Rhapsodia and Tierkreis! It can be preordered for the (hefty) price of 25,000 yen (that's about US$309, AUS$310, and €220) UNTIL December 15th - a Suikosource translator says this item is based on INTEREST ONLY - if there are not enough preorders then it may not be released. If it is, look for a March 2011 release. So, in the unlikely event anyone's got 220-310 bucks on 'em... maybe consider it blowing it on a CD set? Any conclusions? Suikoden hasn't been completely forgotten, and I'd say to definitely keep your eyes peeled for this December! Oh for the love of God!
This is in no way(for me) a suikoden thing!
That is like saying Tierkris(or however it is spelt) is a true suikoden game, it isn't, from what i played, it is nothing of the sort, no jeane, no viki, no proper runes, ARG!
This is Konami's way of keeping the name without any actual work, what a rip.

At least the pachislot is based on the normal series. ...Even if it is getting bashed from here to tomorrow on the Japanese boards...
Maybe enough preorders for the CD set will keep interest alive?
