Well the Haunter sure looked like he had gotten what he was looking for. The boy narrowed his eyes at the man walking away, his eyes trailed his movements as the man went off to settle the beverages. Turning his attention back to the girls, he asked, "What was the gossiping all about?" he hadn't noticed that he was so concern over the matter. The owner stared at the boy, and the Rattata knew that he was getting into their personal matters. "Sorry, that was rude of me." He bowed apologetically to the girls, setting their meals on the table before smiling back at them again.
"Why don't you ask him yourself? Roro hime." A Kedabra gijinka teased. The Kedabra waiter had overheard their conversation, he was eavesdropping. He wrapped a hand over the Rattata's shoulders, grinning at the lavender haired boy. "Get off me..." Taroro growled, brushing off the arm that rested on his shoulders. Laughing gleefully at the Rattata, the staff member went back to continue his business.

The boy sighed, adjusting his red tie. It was slightly messed up by the Kedabra and it wasn't neat like before. The Haunter just knew exactly how to make him feel agitated. He was being such an annoyance, the boy couldn't help but think about how childish he was. Over and over again.
The man returned, with a serving of drinks that were finely decorated. The cafe was not only famous for it's waiters but also, their food. They were unique and it delighted many. The drinks were set on the table, in front of their consumers accordingly. Then the Haunter made a small message to the boy. The Rattata shuddered, turning his head to face the man eye to eye. The red eyes were piercing, telling him that this guy was indeed, dangerous.

But still, curiosity built inside of him even though he tried hard not to care. It just got to him. "What's so interesting...?" He scowled. Honestly, he wanted a reply. A good reply, to all his questions. He couldn't wait for his break anymore. The man was just annoying him too much for the boy to let it slide.
Faint mummers were made by the group of school girls. However, the boy could hear them loud and clear.
"I've never seen Roro chan act this way before..."
Taroro knew, he knew too well that he had never acted this way during his shift before. But right now, he was much too annoyed to think of the consequences. Brushing the matter off again, he turned away, his face slightly flustered by his actions and how he was feeling. "Forget it. Save it for later..." Without listening for a reply from the man, he glanced away, heading to another table that had just called for a waiter.

Shin was about to reply to the boy, not with a straight answer, of course, but the murmurs from the school girl's caught his attention and his eyes followed the Rattata as he wandered off to another table. He could tell the boy was starting to get impatient, but it wasn't enough yet. He wanted to test his limits, see how far he could push him on his own territory before he snapped. In the world he was going to be in as soon as he succeeded his father, a good amount of patience was required, and the Haunter was testing him, to see where he was currently at on that matter. One could think of him as the boy's judge, although, no one had hired him to do so. He was curious, so he took it upon himself to test the boy personally and of his own free will.

That was about the time that he got an idea, an idea that...well, would probably be pushing the line between the two, especially given how much the boy seemed to not like the Haunter. But, he thought he'd give it a try, they were in a good shop to test it, anyway. Shin walked over as soon as the boy started walking back from the table, meeting him half way before wrapping an arm around the Rattata's thin waist and turning him a bit, so that their profiles could be seen perfectly by the group of school girls. He reached his free hand up and slide a fingertip underneath the boy's chin, angling his face up so that the Haunter's eyes would meet his own, smirking a little.
"A little more patience," he said softly, holding the boy's body lightly to his own, not minding the gaping mouths and stares at the two, "if you lose your temper so easily, it will only hurt you in the end." Shin was trying to give him an unfair warning, he shouldn't be giving him a warning at all, but in a way, this was also a method to make the boy snap even faster.

He found that he rather liked the feel of the boy's small frame to his own, which wasn't unusual for him since he often danced very close to other people when he went out to clubs. But, the boy was surprisingly thin, more than many of the other's who's waists his fingers had found themselves on. It almost made him feel dominating somehow, which rarely happened for him. Shin was almost never serious, albeit, when he was he was even harder to handle. When he was serious, he was a bit controlling, his dominate side taking over. It was just a game right now, but somehow at the sametime, it wasn't.

Calming down slightly as he took the orders of the table he had escaped to, then making his way back to settle the orders. He didn't know why it made him so disturbed, it just did. It must not have been coincidence that the man had found him today and had joined as a temporary staff. Deep in thought, the boy walked with eyes glued to the floor. He heard footsteps coming closer, but didn't bother to look up and before he knew it, he was quickly hooked by his waist, his eyes meeting up with the Haunter's. The boy gasped, feeling the shock hit him as the Haunter slid his finger under his chin. Feeling his breath cut short, he stayed silent for a moment as the man spoke.

There were gasping and squealing heard all over the cafe, as every customer locked their eyes on the two. They all held their breath, it was a rare scene. Snapping out of his trance, the boy stared down the Haunter. "Tch.." was all that came out of his lips. His voice trembled nervously. Somehow, he understood what the Haunter was trying to tell him. Indeed, he was loosing his temper faster than usual and the man could tell, but wasn't it all the his fault in the first place? With his hands free, he briskly smacked the hand that was holding up his chin. Still within the Haunter's hold, he stared back intensely. "What's it to you?" His voice was colder than usual. However, he wasn't as annoyed anymore as he was before. It didn't feel normal, the man was just too close for comfort. He could feel Shin's hand, holding on gently to his waist. Although he was simply bewildered by the situation to even try struggling out of the man's light hold.

His smirk deepened just a bit as the boy smacked away one of his hands, but he only found it amusing, and kept the light hold on his waist. Shin leaned his head down slowly after a moment, it almost looked like he was leaning in for their lips to meet, but at the last moment he angled his head just to the side so that they stopped at the boy's ear instead.
"You will find out soon enough, why I'm here and what I want," he whispered softly and teasingly, just loud enough for the Rattata to hear. He was almost anxious for their working hours to be over, he wanted to see the boy's reactions just that much more. Shin was sure it would be a sight to see, since the boy most likely wouldn't see it coming at all.

At the sound of the cafe door opening once again, the Haunter quickly released Taroro and walked over, greeting the new customers with another friendly smile.
"Follow me please," he said, guiding the customers to another open table, but not before smiling a little slyly at the boy as he passed him. Indeed, Shin was having far too much fun with his 'job'. The school girl's mouths were still agape, and eyes were still darting back and forth between the two, staring intently and hoping for another rare exchange between the two waiters.

The Haunter watched the clock go by, slowly yet somehow fast, waiting for the time in which he could finally tell the Rattata his purpose for being there. But, as following his own advice, he kept his patience. And soon enough, it was time for their break from work. They still had more work to do, but the break was needed after serving quite a few customers. Shin would also make good use of this time, and find out more about the 'little heir'.

The Rattata felt his heart pound heavily on his chest as the Haunter moved in closer to the boy. His mind was in all kinds of places now. He held his breath. For a moment, he was sure that the man was going to make their lips meet, but instead, he stopped to whisper in the boy's ear. He felt the warm breath of the Haunter's against it and he swallowed, feeling the heat go up to his face. It sounded threatening in a way, making the boy even more curious about the man's reasons.
The bell to the entrance chimed and the Haunter released his grip. Whatever happened before seemed like a dream, putting the boy in a daze for a minute or two, to adjust back to his surroundings. Shin was attending to the customers as if nothing had happened but smirked as he walked past the boy, making the boy grit his teeth with his mouth shut so It wasn't noticeable. His face remained a clam cover, but inside, he was annoyed again. This just had to be the most disturbing day ever.

Taking in a deep breath, Taroro shook his head, trying to clear his mind of all thoughts. 'Calm down and get back to work...' he chanted in his mind. This was risky, today could be the day that he would finally get fired. Unfortunately for the boy, the owner seemed to have a certain connection to the Haunter, making this situation even harder to handle. His golden eyes panned through the cafe, searching for any customers that might need servicing. His eyes fell upon the group of girls that were still stunned from the event. He walked towards their table and gave a warm smile. "I hope you enjoyed that?" He couldn't say that he hadn't enjoyed it himself. Truthfully, he didn't know how he felt about it but for the sake of keeping his job, he would have to go with the flow.

The girls nodded frantically, their faces were as pink as strawberries. At least they were convinced that it was all part of a show. They were about to leave after the exciting "performance" they had experienced today. "Roro chan, we didn't know you swing that way~ But just so you know, we fully support you!" One girl announced, and it echoed through the cafe. Surprisingly, it made the boy blush, remembering the contact he had made with the Haunter not too long ago. He wanted to tell the girl off but they were valued customers to the cafe, he couldn't do it. Keeping quiet, he waited for the girls to stop giggling, then led them out to the entrance. "Please, come again..." He forced out, still a little disturbed by the school girl's earlier comment.

Time flew by quickly as the crowd started to build up during lunch hours. As soon as their rush was over, they were finally free to have their break and do whatever they pleased. Taroro made his way to the locker rooms, loosening his tie a little. It was tiring as usual and it was only the first half of the day too. "I'd better confront that guy now..." Murmuring under his breath as he opened his locker. It was finally time to get the answers to all the new questions he had faced today. And there were so many.

The Haunter made a stop at the kitchen as soon as their break hit, asking the cook if he could make him a small snack for lunch. He hadn't eaten since early in the morning, before he gathered what information he could on the Rattata and heading out to find him in the vast city. So, he was rather hungry. The cook made him a simple sandwich at his request, which mainly consisted of lettuce, turkey, tomatoes, and some mustard of some kind, and Shin headed out back behind the store to eat it after chiming a
"Thank you~" to the cook. He didn't bother to mess with his waiter uniform, and would make minor adjustments to it before the next shift started. For now, he was intensely focused on the sandwich in his hands, taking a large bite as soon as the door to the back of the shop closed behind him.

There was a light and cool breeze blowing, which felt nice against what parts of his skin that were vulnerable to it. Usually he'd be feeling the breeze over more of his body, because of his usual outfit, but the uniform was far more conservative as far as that went. The Haunter scarfed down the sandwich, letting bits of crumbs fall to the ground and fixing up his face.
"Ahhh~ The food here is pretty good. I might have to stop by as a customer next time," he said to himself, grinning a bit.

Shin moved over and leaned against the back wall of the building, now taking the time to loosen his tie and open the top part of his shirt a bit. All that moving around in close quarters with all the body heat during the lunch rush hour was stifling. It felt good to at least expose his skin a bit more to the breeze. He let out a content sigh, running a hand through his hair multiple shaded purple hair, expecting the 'little heir' to confront him any time soon. He wanted to wait until the end of all their shifts before he told the boy what he wanted to know, because this was business, and Shin didn't want to conduct business when he was having so much fun playing 'waiter'.

Reluctantly, the boy moved out from the locker rooms and towards the back of the cafe where there was a door leading outside. As the boy slid out the back door to the back of the cafe, he was greeted by the sight of the purple haired man. He pursed his lips, not knowing what answered might await him. For all he knew, it must have something to do with the family business.
"I want answers, now." The boy said bluntly, fixing his eyes on the man. This had gone on long enough and he wanted it to end. Right here, right now. He definitely planned on getting a decent answer from the man.

Being the heir to his father's position, the boy knew quite a hand full about the business and all it's little tricks and secrets. He even knew about his father using force for certain reasons, which was why the boy was treated so strictly at home. His father obviously didn't want a wimp taking over the family business. If the boss was though, the company would only grow tougher and with a good set of "followers", you would rise to the top. That was what the Rattata understood. There was no room for mistakes. Confronting people like the Haunter, was part of his growth for the future.

Shin didn't bother glancing at the person who came from inside the shop, he knew who it was without even having to look. And, the demanding voice that soon followed gave the person's identity away perfectly.
"Is that an order, "Roro-hime?"" he teased back, now looking over at the impatient Rattata. Taroro's voice was firm, he could tell that his father had been 'training' him sufficiently enough, but it wasn't yet weighed with his full responsibility, not just yet. As soon as the boy succeeded his father and worked as the leader of a large company, his voice would be one that demanded anything and everything on the line. It was kind of a thrill to think about, Shin wanted to know just how the boy's voice would sound in a few years.

"You won't get them," he answered back after a moment, "I'm having too much fun," he finished with a playful grin. The Haunter stayed where he was, leaned against the wall, but his red eyes were trained on Taroro, curious about how the boy would react to his defiance. This was also a test of sorts that he was putting the boy, unknowingly, through. Shin always had mixed feelings on confrontations. They were both amusing and annoying for him. He didn't mind it so much when he had the upper hand, but if he didn't, he would get a little aggravated at the person trying to subdue him for answers. But, still, he always maintained his usual facade, unless he was pushed too far. Even the Haunter had his limits, depending on the day.

The boy was unhappy with the reply the Haunter had shoved to him. But of course, the boy didn't expect to receive free gifts from someone like the that. He squinted his eyes, showing that he was in fact, still agitated by what had happened earlier. Briskly, he made his way into the direction of the Haunter, he had to squeeze the information out, somehow. Grabbing the red tie that hung from the man's collar, he pulled the male forward, enough to meet his eye. "What sense of fun could you possibly obtain from me..." It wasn't a question, it was more of a statement. The Rattata himself didn't find it fun at all. He glared intensely at the man for a second before pushing him backwards, together with his tie. It was all about threatening the enemy into giving you information but what could he threaten the Haunter with? Nothing.
Turning away from the purple haired man, so that his back faced him, the boy put a finger on his lips. He had to think of something fast. Who knew what kind of dirt the man had on him or his family for that matter. The boy wasn't going to allow any leaks that could soil his family name or the company's. This situation was starting to turn fragile.

"I'm going to get those answers, I assure you." A smirk grew on the boy's face as he turned back to face the Haunter again. He wasn't going to go down like that. He had to be persistent in whatever he did that might concern his future and this was something he had to do. But what was it that he had to do? What could he possibly do to break this rock solid Haunter down? Yet another question arose.

The Haunter was mildly amused when the boy pulled him forward, then soon pushed him back. He smiled a bit to himself after being let go, replying nonchalantly,
"you amuse me," he answered simply. It was true, the boy himself was the main source of his amusement today, which was something that the Rattata couldn't change at this point. Even if he ignored everything that the Haunter did to him from this point on out, it was only a matter of time until he snapped under the weight of it all. That, was partly why Shin was having so much fun, he wanted to know how much it would take for the boy to break down.

Shin raised an eyebrow at the boy's threats, smirking a bit in return. As far as his information gathering had gone, the boy's father hadn't ever mentioned Shin to him. He'd done some dealings with the company leader here and there, though his business was more along the lines of 'scandals' and 'force'. He knew well enough that the boy's father was a tough man, which was boring for Shin. He liked his son much better, because he reacted so openly. His father was too uptight and stiff, and just..too boring for the Haunter. This boy was much more amusing, far more than he had hoped.

He stood up after a moment, walking over silently to stand close behind the boy, moving both arms to wrap around the Rattata's thin waist, leaning his face down close to the boy's from the side.
"Is that so," he said more than asked. Shin decided to go with the method he had used earlier, since it seemed to be the most affective in getting a good reaction, as well as silence, out of the 'little heir'."I wonder if you'll be able to," he murmured next to the boy's ear again softly, teasing him a bit. Shin wasn't sure if this 'method' was going to become a habit, but he didn't seem to mind using it on the boy. He moved a hand and slowly raised it up against the boy's side, moving it around to the front to play with the loose tie on the boy's neck."You don't even know who I am yet," he murmured again, twiddling with the red tie purposefully.

The man's arms slid through the boy's and around his waist, locking them firmly onto them. The boy flinched, surprised at the sudden action. His breathing got deeper, recalling the same thing the man had did before. Except, now it was from the back instead. He felt the man's presence behind him, then, right beside his face. Shuddering at the words that were picked up by his ears. He was close and the boy was stunned yet again. Maybe this was something else the boy had a weakness against. The man wasn't rough, in fact, he was being gentle and that didn't make the Rattata feel like fighting back.

Taroro raised his head as the man reached or his tie, playing with it. The boy just stood there motionless, trying to make sense of the unusual attack the Haunter had just pulled on him. His hands were free, so why wasn't he moving? Or at least punching the guy back like he did before? It just didn't make sense anymore. Realizing his position, he jerked backwards, recoiling himself from the man's hold, at the same time bumping into him. He quickly took a step back, creating a fair distance between the two and as a reflex for defense, he punched the guy. Unfortunately, it wasn't as hard as he hoped it would be. The "attack" from the Haunter had significantly depleted his strength.
"I don't have to know who you are..." The boy's tone of voice was a little shaky but still serious. Strangely, he felt as if he was lying to himself. Had he actually been affected by this guy long enough to even care who he was? No, it couldn't be. In business, you couldn't trust anyone or even get too comfy with anyone. They might turn their backs on you any time.

The boy's reaction was, once again, amusing to him. His breathing seemed to change and he didn't immediately hit him, which the Haunter had somewhat expected him to do. Instead, the Rattata seemed to be..confused? He wasn't exactly sure what the boy was feeling, but Shin himself was starting to feel a little odd. He didn't have many weaknesses, but he found that, again, he liked the feel of the boy's smaller frame against his own. He almost pulled him close until the boy bumped back into him, then stepped forward and sending a fist at his face. His head swung back a little, almost the same as when they first met, and he temporarily released the boy, holding his hand over the spot where he'd been hit. Ironically enough, it was the same spot as earlier, so it hurt twice as much. But that wasn't exactly what caused him to do what he did next.

Shin removed his hand soon after and moved quickly, pressing the boy's chest back with one hand and pinning both of his wrists above his head, now against the wall, with the other, stepping close to the Rattata to prevent him from kicking anywhere that would have a great affect. The Haunter stared down intently at the boy, his face serious for a change, leaning his head down a bit.
"Are you sure that's wise for a 'young heir' to say," he said, his face a few inches away from the Rattata's."I could either be an ordinary citizen, a great ally, or a great enemy to you, you should consider all possibilities before you say such dismissive things," he finished, his voice lacking all of the cheer it was usually filled with.

After a few more moments, Shin released his grip on the boy's wrists and pressure on his chest, stepping back and turning to the side. It wasn't the pain near his eye that had changed his mood, it was that now he would have an obvious blue and purple mark on his face that he had to explain that made him serious. How was he supposed to continue 'playing his part' if he had an unexplained bruise on his face for all to see? There would be questions and now he had to come up with an answer to them. Not only that, he was now less appealing to the customers he would have to be serving. The boy's second punch had made his 'job' harder, his disguise, it had put a dent in his performance. He didn't take lightly to people making his work more complicated than it should be. Sure, part of him felt he probably had it coming, but that was overshadowed by the part of him that was frustrated at the situation.

"We'll speak again when our shifts are over for the day, you'll get your answers then," he said, his voice still as serious as before. Shin walked back over to the door and flung it open, stepping inside and fixing his shirt and tie on his way back to 'work'.

He was yet again, taken off guard by the agile Hunter, who pinned the boy back against the wall behind him. His hands were latched tightly against the hard, cold wall. As tough as the young Rattata was, he struggled but to no avail, could not break free of the man's grasp. The pressure on his chest made breathing harder, stuffier. He panted, feeling exhausted by the situation he was in. He wasn't happy that he got tired so easily but maybe it was due to the "breathtaking moments". As the man spoke again, the playful face which he normally wore, faded into a stern, serious glare. Even his voice was lacking in his usual upbeat tone. It was a huge contrast from his usual behavior, so the boy had noticed. He glared back at the Haunter as soon as he felt the pressure release, slowly placing his arms back down to his sides, his eyes followed the movement of the Haunter until he stepped back inside the cafe.

Relieved, the boy rested his back against the wall, his legs giving up to gravity as he slid down to his feet. Now the boy had to wait for the other half of the day before the Haunter would give him a serious reply. Whether it was the truth or not, he didn't know but he just felt like he had to find out, no matter what. "Shin..." The boy muttered, his fist met with the ground, it hurt, but not as much as the pressure he was still feeling in his chest. Except now, it wasn't physically but mentally. This was probably the boy's most confusing, yet interesting encounter ever. There was no telling what could happen next. He pursed his lips, sitting still for a few moments more before lifting himself up from the ground.

It was time for his next shift, even though it hadn't been much of a break. Time wouldn't stand still just for you and whatever happens, you would have to move on. So the boy did. It was too late to take back what he had done or what he had said. The only thing he could do now, was to make amends or do the opposite. It wasn't an easy decision. Considering what the man had said earlier, he definitely wouldn't want a guy like that becoming an enemy.
Heading back inside, he made no eye contact with the Haunter or any staffs for that matter, including the owner. Straightening his uniform, Taroro made his way back to the cafe's dining room, flipping the sign at the entrance to "Open" once again.

"Yikes, what happened to your face?" one of the staff muttered over to the Haunter, his expression taking on one that mimicked the pain he suspected the purple haired man was in. Shin leaned against the counter on his elbows, setting his chin in his hands as he waited for the shop to open again.
"The 'princess' packs a punch," he replied back flatly, glancing towards the entrance of the shop with a dull stare. He could keep his act up no problem, and because he was now sporting a newly colored addition to his face, it wasn't hard for him to play the part of a sort of 'sad and disappointed waiter'. "That's odd..why would Taroro hit you?" the man asked again, looking at the Haunter quizzically. "I was probably out of line," he replied back, feigning a look of disappointment. "Were you trying to carry on that little scene from earlier on your break?" the man asked for the final time, raising an eyebrow. Shin glanced down at the counter, playing innocent,"maybe...but he's just too adorable to not try," he finished, feigning a brief pout. It was at least mostly true, Shin could work with it.

His eyes glanced over purposefully as the subject of their discussion walked in from the back door and across the shop, stopping at the front door to flip the sign back to 'open'. Shin took note of the boy's lack of eye contact, but smiled his usual smile nonetheless. If the boy had known that he was 'playing', he wondered if he still would've gotten hit.
'Probably,' he thought to himself, smirking slightly. He'd already decided he was willing to deal with the pain, and now that he had a workable explanation for the bruise on his face he wasn't in the same mood as he was not too long ago. Regardless of his frustration, he enjoyed the boy's temper, it was lively, which Shin was fond of in people.

A few more customers entered the now open shop, and the Haunter didn't waste any time in getting back to 'work'. He and a couple other waiters greeted them properly, but not before Shin tried to adjust his hair a bit to help cover most of the bruise above his eye. It was all he could think of, since he didn't carry makeup with him.
"Hello~ My name is Shin and I'll be your waiter for the duration of your stay here. Is there anything you would like to order?" he asked, smiling his friendly and light hearted smile.

"Sure you wanna trust it?"

Paying no attention to the conversation the staff had raised with Shin, the Rattata briskly made his way back to the locker rooms where he had accidentally forgotten his notepad and pen. Only remembering it while he had flipped the sign. He grabbed the notepad and pen that was sitting neatly on the bench in the room and stuffed it into his pocket, heading out again. It was time for the next shift and he hoped it wouldn't be as tiresome as the previous one. In no time, the place was crowded again, filled with as many people as there were in the morning. The night shift would be much worse though, since almost everyone seemed to have the time after the sun had set.
The constant stream of customers made no time for the boy to think about what had happened during and in between his shifts. He was soon immersed in his work, scrambling around to get orders done and to entertain a few individuals, who were mostly regulars.

Without any disturbance from anyone, he got through it all quite smoothly. It was only a few hours until closing time and the cafe was now inhabited by the night life that came in at their usual time. Rowdier than the morning crowd and more demanding than the afternoon crowd. The waiters were kept busy all throughout the second shift. Before they knew it, it was already closing time. The last few customers left, thanking the waiters and the cafe owner flipped the sign to 'closed'. Then, gathering the staff together, thanked them for their hard work and released everyone from their duties for the day.

Finally, the boy had to confront the man again. The time came faster than he had hoped for. He left the cleaning to the other staff members, it wasn't his duty for tonight so he could leave early. Making his way back to the locker room to change out from his uniform, his mind was fixed at the thought of the Haunter's answer. Was he really that interested in hearing it?
