she smiled "Dont know how good the reception is but ok. She turned the flame in her to a muted red and walked in after Ovan.

A long dark tunnel began to open up in front of them, "Goes deep," Ovan said listening to his own voice echo through the halls, "it looks like its been here a while now."

Zoje nodded "Most of the school has. When I was little I would explore the tunels with my friend Remina and we used to think that if we went far enough we could reach the center of the earth "she said smiling at the memory. Things wre so much simpler back then.

Ovan stopped for a second, there was something wrong with the crossroad coming up, "Look, the brick in that section doesnt match the rest of the tunnel. Its not part of the original design..."

Zoje frowned "Your right. But I dont remember any of this happening. How could you construct a tunnel without any one knowing about?" she asked walking into it.

Volrath comes picking his way behind them through the bodies, and stopped to examine a few here and there. "Um guys i've seen things kinda like this before. my former master tried experiments similar to this, but they all failed. think of it as some form of delayed corpse reanimation. if it was succesfully done, these bodies are an army timed to reanimate with a certain trigger."

"well the easiest explination it that whoever put them here didn't want us to know how long they've been here. the clothing would rot. so either they've been here so long the cloths rotted, or they're fresh and want us to think they've been here a long time."
