BE Intellivision! Oh, those were the good days. That is old school. Anyway, I loved the NES...especially Castlevania. I will never forget how you had to hold the orb in front of a wall and kneel to be whisked away to the next part of the game. Genius. The original Game Boy was tight too. I had to break down and get a GBA just because they stopped making games for the original Game Boy. No GB Pocket for me, thanks. I was a HUGE Nintendo fan girl (even though we had a Genesis). Not so much anymore, although that $99 price tag on the GC is pretty nice. Too bad it can't play DVDs.

My first game system was the Sega Genesis. And it was the only game system that I ever broke. sweatdrop I also liked N64 (even though that's not really considered old...) quite a bit. There's one in my basement, and I still play it occasionally. whee

My favorite back in the day was the Genesis. I loved the Sonic games, Zombies Ate My Neighbors (you have to play this game!! XD), Splatterhouse 2 (very gory & icky, but fun), Bubsy, Ecco, Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine - man, if I didn't have my Genesis back then, all I would have done was read (which I did way too much of anyhow).
However, now I'm playing a lot of the old SNES RPGs, & am loving them all. Tales of Phantasia is currently my favorite. heart

whee I totally forgot about Dr. Robotnick's Mean Bean Machine!! xd That game was so insanely fun.
Bomberman. . . Toe Jam and Earl. . . Earthworm Jim. . . . ah those were the days. xd I even had the dubious joy of playing Revolution X. xp

Well personally I loved the SNES just because of all the great RPGs that the system gave us, but my absolute fav was the Genesis. Phantasy Star 4 was an awesome RPG, and then there were the sonic games. Not to mention one of my favorite games, Comix Zone! ^^ That game was just great
