I'd go with the Sega Genesis (it's not über old school, but it was my first system). Sonic 2, Super Street Fighter 2, Mortal Kombat. . . ah those were the days. *laughs* My sister and I played MK so much that it started to not work right. sweatdrop

I started with the First Gameboy. But my true love in gaming was the Sega Genesis. I fell in love with both Sonic and Tails. My dad and I never could beat those games, but we always came so close! The N64 was my first Nintendo console, and then I became a Nintendo fangirl.... sweatdrop They had some AWESOME games on that thing! I still wish I could have been there for the golden years of gaming...

the NES and the SNES. those were so fun. i loved all the classic games like mario, duckhunt, and zelda. there was this hockey game tho, i cant remember which system it was for, but you could make your guys look skinny normal, or fat and the graphics were incredibly bad, but it was cool

I'd have to say Nintendo and Sega. I've played pretty much all of the old school systems, including that tv game system that played Pong, but I probably played Nintendo and Sega the most. Sega was the first game system I actually owned (as opposed to playing other people's systems), so I was a bit of a Sega fangirl. I also thought it was nifty the way you connect the 32X to the Sega and the Sega to the Sega CD.
