Lets see, here's what I've found so far. I've actually been having a hard time finding theaters. Theaters might be easier to locate once the movie starts.
-Regal Cinemas, Bridgeport Village Stadium 18 & IMAX -Royal Lloyd Center 10 Cinemas -Century Clackamas Town Center -Century 16 Eastport Plaza -Regal Division Street -Cinetopia
Cinetopia is the only theater that I could find that says they'll be showing The Last Airbender in 3D HD. The other theaters might be showing it in 3D but haven't posted it yet. Though I have to admit Cinetopia is probably one of my favorite theaters. In case someone hasn't been there, it's a little bit more expensive (not a whole lot), but it's pretty nice. If you get there at least fifteen minutes early you can order from the restaurant and eat your food in the theater auditorium seats, so it's a good place for a dinner movie (which might be interesting). The theater auditoriums are large and have fluffy, cushy couch-like chairs, some with foot-rests. The screens are huge, too. The more expensive adult auditorium (which has the foot-rests) allows alcohol, the slightly cheaper family auditorium does not, not that it probably matters. Both have the comfortable chairs. But yeah... razz

Well based off what you said and everyone else, Cinetopia sounds like a great choice! Just the "when"part hm? O.o

Whether or not it's the "best" choice depends on what others feel. I'm open to pretty much anything, really, I just thought I'd give a bit of information about Cinetopia if anyone hadn't been there because it is a little different than your standard theater. Like I said, it's a little bit more expensive so it also depends on whether or not everyone's willing to pay the prices (ticket prices are on the site, I believe) or if everyone wants to go somewhere a bit cheaper. Either way is fine with me.
As for when... no clue. When would work best for everyone?

@Gorath Tsu: You're welcome ^^
Soo yea the movie started. I'm going to be busy until the 11th, and I'm actually going to be leaving sometime late this month to go back down to Utah for a bunch of stuff, so anytime between the 11th aand around the 25th I believe will work well for me

Would the 17th or 18th work for everyone? Or the 24th or 25th? Both are Saturday and Sunday. July, of course.

Y'know, there's another theater I forgot about that might, perhaps, be interesting. I can't believe I forgot it, but I just remembered it today after talking with my mother and thought I might mention it.
The theater is the 99W Drive-In, a drive-in theater. It's $8 per person ($4 for age five and under), but it shows two movies in a row. Everyone would probably have to bring their own boombox/stereo so there's enough sound to go around, and their own chairs as well, but it's another idea. The thing is... it's in Newberg, so I don't know if anyone would be up to driving out that far. It's around twenty or thirty minutes, give or take, from where I live but I don't know about the rest of you. But I thought I'd mention it anyway while we try to decide on the theater and date.
I don't know what will be playing in two, three, four weeks-- right now they're showing Toy Story 3 and The Karate Kid-- but I could try calling if anyone's interested and see if they can tell me what will be playing later.
So, anyway, just another idea. Here's the website... http://www.99w.com/index.htm

I'm okay with pretty much anything, really. The 17th or 18th is fine for me as well, or the week after, or even the week after that (though not the week after that, I leave the 11th of next month razz ). So, is anyone else okay with the 17th or 18th? And which theater does everyone want to go to?
Though I must admit, I saw The Last Airbender over the weekend, but I'm up for seeing it again. Actually, I want to see it again. It's not as bad as the reviews, at least I don't think so. There are a number of things I didn't like, and it was really, really rushed, but I still enjoyed it nonetheless. One thing I will say though is not to bother with the 3D. I saw no 3D effects in it at all, none whatsoever. Even with the 3D glasses I felt like I was watching a 2D movie.

Soo yea

Alrighty. Well than, in my opinion we either do it this weekend or we wait until after I get back from my trip, as after next weekend I'll be scrambling to finish up loose ends on my costume, packing, and other such things.
Either way would be fine with me, but the movie might not be playing by the time I get back (maybe, some movies last longer in theaters than others do depending on popularity). Though if that's the case we could see something else.
But to move things along maybe I'll just post a date, time and location and if everyone likes it than great, and if not than changes to it can still be made? Location: Cinetopia Date: Sunday, July 18th Time: 2:30 PM (move starts at 2:50 PM, which I think is still matinee-- come a little earlier than this if you want to order from the restaurant and eat in the auditorium) Price: $11.25 per adult ticket (unfortuately, "The Last Airbender" is only being shown in 3D at Cinetopia, hence the price)

Well I think I should be able to make it. Unless I'm informed otherwise I have nothing planned for that day and I can afford it I'm sure. This will be the fourth time I'll have seen this movie XD But I like it a lot and seeing it with people from Gaia will be cool! Are we going to do anything afterwards as a group or just see the movie?

Well, we could do something else, never really thought about it. But I'm not sure what else is around there besides Wal-Mart and Fred Meyer's... Though I haven't done much exploring around that area.

So is the date and time alright with everyone or what? There's only a few days so I wanted to make sure. I'd hate to go over there only to find no one showing up. razz
