A very cheerful looking Soq approaches you the jangling of tiny bells on the corners or her blanket/scarf accompanying each jaunty stride. No trace of hesitation or wariness for strangers hinting in her movements she is confidence at its best.
She pauses a few feet away to allow you the few final squares of movement. You extend your hand to lay it to her soft green muzzle and step forward . . . right into a very deep very muddy puddle that she had obviously cleverly disguised as normal ground.

Happily she tosses her short mane allowing you a rare glimpse of her glinting mischievous green eyes. You scowl and she while Laughing heartily leaps away off into the dense brush to cause more trouble no doubt.

Blake is a little odd and fun loving yet a very emotionally distant. Advice is something she can dish out like no other and is uncannily wise with her words however . . . that only works with other peoples problems. In her own life however If she cant handle a situation with a joke then she is-int quite sure how to handle and most of the time she just ends up running away be it literally or figuratively. She is also very honest an not afraid to tell you what she thinks no matter what.

Blake's History

Blake is the tepee's lazily cunning trickster, with a few bursts of intense temper and compassion thrown in for added spice.
She was born to a desert herd of nomadic Soq just over the mountains. Overly self sufficient at a young age she practically raised herself through no neglect of her mother mind you. As a young filly she was encouraged to explore, often helping others when scouting out feeding grounds and watering places. To this day that is the only thing she puts any energy or real time into.
Aside from her love looking around every available corner or rather over every sand dune, Her other favorite hobby was to listen to the stories of the elders for hours as they told of distant lands and amazing adventures with fantastic beings called humans. At night she dreamed of these distant lands and the adventures she would one day hopefully have with her own human.
When she felt she was old enough (which as you can guess was still younger than most) she left the herd in search of her own human and her own adventures. She traveled far and wide for almost a year eventually crossing the mountains and finding the pains lands. She saw other soq with tepees and decided someone would have to pretty amazing to get her to settle like that. As most relationships seemed almost too much like pet and master for her tastes. She decided that she would never settle down and that to have a human would only slow down her adventurous ways. That was of course before she met Poet.
It was a sunny day in midsummer that Blake remembers quite clearly that she came across the girl kneeling beside the river bank to do her laundry of tie dyed Cotton skirts in the cool fast flowing water with sweetly perfumed honey and vanilla soap.
Confidently Blake trotted up her bells jingling merrily. The girl looked up with clear green eyes and gave a smile then turned back to her laundry Blake returned the gesture raised a brow, and promptly used her nose to push the girl into the stream. The girl instead of getting angry began to laugh and splashed water at Blake.
Days passed and the two just kind of kept bumping into one another few more days passed and soon they were kind of traveling about together. Not long after that they were helping one another out and before they knew it they just didn’t like to be apart its been that way ever since.
