Frost and mud galore! What a wonderful time this was! As she sun melted away it seemed frost covered dirt turned into small mud bogs and mud puddles. Laughing as she trudged through the mud, she felt the earth move and squish beneath her. Such joy she had playing in the mud, even if it did leave her leg guards dirty and caked with dirt when she was done. The mud always felt so nice, cool, squishy and even... slimy. She giggled even more as she hopped around from one puddle to the next before even flopping down in the mud and rolling around to rub it all over her.

Blake being the opertunist prankster that she was, she was entirely engrossed in finding just the right puddles to disguise as regualr ground so just the wrong soq would step in them. By right puddles she ment deep and particlary mucky and by wrong soquili she ment just about anyone who was trying particularly hard to stay out of the puddles. Snickering to herself she pulled the last few branches over the last puddle in her direct area and stood back to admire her work with a wide grin. "Sweeeeeet" she said to herself then darted off to cause more mayhem. So much to do so little time. She thought with a sigh of contentment. It wasn't long till she came across a younge mare spashing about happily. "Hi ya!" Blake called with a winny and lept right in causeing a huge spalsh. Why come in when you can make an entrance she always said.

She'd heard a voice and before she could respond a green figure has bailed right into the puddle with her. It wasn't till after the splatters fell that she looked at the other mare with a large grin. "Hi!" She giggled and rolled to her feet, the mud sliding down her legs and covering up the scars she'd gotten as a foal. "Isn't mud such lovely stuff? all gooey and squishy!" She laughed once more and sloshed about in it, shaking her head and sending mud spattering off her in many directions at once. "I'm Merashik, but you can call me Mera." She said with glee. She lifted up a hind leg and slammed it down, sending mud and muddy water splashing in a wave towards the other mare. This was a game for her now, a lovely, squishy, muddy game.

Blake shook out her coat too sending little mud specks everwhare of course then she got the little wave of mud. " nice to meet someone who can appriciate a little mud mera! I'm Blake. And two can play this game!!" she shouted playfully splashing more mud at her new found freind. She Then dashes over to a tree to hang up her blanket scarf as sh knew poet would have het butt in a sling if she got it any dirtyier. She grasped one comer and flung it over a low branch before leaping back into to continue this spalsh fight.

She laughed harder as she was splashed in return. "Nice to meet you Blake." She grinned and mock stumbled, leaning on the other mare in an attempt to take her to the ground to get her even more covered in mud. She'd given up seasons ago on keeping her scarves from getting dirty. Now days even her father gave up on trying to help her keep them clean. She was for everything her father's daughter, a rough and tumbler that had an obsession with mud. " It is so nice indeed to find another mare who appreciates the muddy goodness of mud!" Her speech became even swifter as she became more excited about having and adult 'playmate' of sorts.

Her already unsteady legs combined with the slick mud made it quite easy for her to fall like a house of cards. She slipped about for a moment mangeing to barely maintin blance but it was all for not in the end. "wha-wha-whoa!" she excalimed as she toppled over with a splash. The mucky mess whent everyware and she couldent have had a better time of it. "That's how you wanna play huh!?" she smiled reaching up and gripping mera's scarf between her teeth to pull her down. It certainly good to have a playmate thesh-ah never did anything like this that was for sure.

"Waaah!" as her scarf was yanked, she felt herself slip and sink to the ground. With a heavy 'flop' and the squishing splatter of mud, she came down. Giggling she rolled about for a moment mock flailing before poking the other mare with her nose. "This is so much fun don't you think?" She giggled with glee. Her father was usually a good sport of things when playing but he didn't have the same nack that non family play mates seemed to have.

"and it's good for us belive it or not. The mud in the end will actually make us cleaner in the end after we rinse it all off." she added helpfully. Then A full on grin creased her lips and she could have sworn she could almost feel demon steed horns starting to poke out of the top of her skull. Ooo hoo ooo it's curuption time. Finnally someone she could maybe teach to appriciate a good prank!! Thank god thesh-ah isn't here she thought. "this is awsome but you wanna do something really fun!!" she asked rolling about for a moment.

((nice))
Her ears perked at the thought of more fun. "Fun? What kind of fun?" She wasn't above pulling pranks, but she knew the limitations of when pranks just became mean and no longer fun. Amongst her playful side she was noble of heart and wouldn't out right hurt another unless they'd provoked her first. Her father had stressed such values as she grew teaching her that some times, it was better to just back off rather than to press on with the shenanigans. She stood up gradually gaining her footing back in the slick mud, Shaking from tip of her nose down the length of her to her rear, slinging the mud off as she carefully stepped out of the now much larger mud wallow they'd made. What mud that hadn't been slung off clung to her fur caking it to her skin and causing her scarves to stick to her where it touched. She was still mostly covered in mud and wondered if maybe they should attempt to get clean before this new game. "Before we play another game.. Maybe we should get cleaned up a bit.. that way we'll be clean and dry later on in the day when the sun finally sets?"

"Oh Youll see-now as to washing some of this off-" she said looking down at her ussed to be green and orange patterned coat with a chuckle. "I think your very rights I'm afraid if we don't someone may misstakes us for muck mutants." she added with an attept to shake some of it off like her new found freind mere had done.. "Come on there's a river this way." she motioned. Starting to trot off in the proper direction grabbing her blanket between here teeth as she whent past it.

((lol it's ok ))
She nodded and followed after Blake. Her ears perked as she trotted giggling every now and then to the thought of being considered a muck mutant. "It'd be funny though.. you have to admit.." She grinned wide and picked up her pace some. She looked around as she followed the other mare, her muddied tail swishing, sending mud slinging some.

Blake nodded her head Zealously her mud soaked bangs flapping up and down with the vigorous movement. "me and you kid were gonna go places." she said around the scarf handing out of her mouth so it sounded kinda muffled but the basic message she was sure could be under stood. Soon enough they reached the river Blake eyed it suspiciously. most who knew he well knew she was terrified of anything that lived in the water . . .mer kelpie . . .fish . . . if it swam she didn't like it no matter how harmless it maybe. Tossing her blanket on another low branch she walked to the edge of the water and stayed there contemplating actually getting in

A glint gleamed in her eye as she saw a nice opportunity to play water wars with her new friend. "Think fast!" She called out before charging the other mare and playfully head butting her in an attempt to knock her into the water. She was full of pep and loads of it. The water was just too much to pass up making a game out of it. She didn't know the other had issues with the inhabitants of the water, she just knew that a game involving water was more fun often played together. She'd had her share of scares dealt out to her from the stones in a brook when she was younger but this.. this didn't seem to have any stones that were noticeable so, why not?

One moment she was looking at the water with certain amount of disdain, the next thing she knew she was in it. "Think HUH?-Whaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!" she exclaimed right before she collided with the clear (kinda chilly)water head first. Shock over took her at first and she brought where head back up to the surface gasping for air. she might have been angry if she wasn't so terribly afraid. don't . . .freak . .. out . .. .don't freak out don't freak out don't freak out. she thought trying not to scream and run for the shore while looking about to make sure nothing was near her. "Comee on i-i-i-in the waters great." she called up at mera really not wanting to be in there alone.

Grinning, she bailed in not long after she was summoned. The water was colder than she'd thought which caused her to take air in swiftly and let out a rather loud 'eep'. She laughed heartily though it soon faded as she saw the other's look of slight panic. " You alright, Blake?" All playing aside now, her face became more serious as she made her way closer to the other mare. Mud trailing in the water behind her as the current swept it away. "I'm sorry if I'd known you really didn't care to be in the water I wouldn't have pushed you." She'd figured this mare really didn't care much for water.
