I noticed the whole Hypnosis losing accuracy from D/P to Platinum/HG/SS thing in my Platinum. Let's say somebody fights a player using Platinum while using Diamond themself, both players have a pokemon with Hypnosis. Would both players go back to 60 accuracy or up to 70? Or would they both keep the same accuracy of the game they are playing in? I have no clue... confused
As explained on the Rate-A-Pokemon: Ninetales thread, It would depend upon who hosted the game. If the player with Platinum hosts the battle, Hypnosis' accuracy would then be 60 for the duration of the battle for both players; if the Player with Diamond hosts the battle, then likewise, hypnosis would then be 70. I hope this clears that up for you.
