I have to say I am quite worried about how this reading will turn out, since I have been given such incredibly vague information. Understand that it is not entirely my fault if the cards do not tell of the situation you stated in your problem section, because I am unsure of the an exact problem, but I will do my best.
Card 1: The present
Seven of Cups: Seven cups hold sensually pleasing images. One overflows with bubbles, another burst with brilliant flames. They call to you like sirens, distracting you from your true course. Like the Chariot, Major Arcana VII, a strong will is needed to overcome the distractions of the imagination. Your emotions are leading you to false fantasies. Find inspiration from these dreams and move onward. These distractions may be enticed and you enjoy them, but you may regret that choice in the long run.
At this moment I can not really say what I think this card represents. It is often found during happy times, with self projected fantasies, and putting something/someone up on a pedestal. Hopefully the next few cards will reveal its meaning, aside from that it is only the present, and not the solution that you are looking for.
Card 2: The immediate challenge facing you. You will often pull a difficult card here, which will indicate an obstacle that must be overcome. When you pull a "good" card here, examine it carefully because it will still represent a challenge.
The Emperor: The Emperor is dressed with a red cloth covering a blur garb. While he is driven by love and desire for what is best for everyone, as indicated by his blue under-cloak, he is more concerned with realistic functioning of everyday life. As a father he wish for his children is a strong foundation so that they can do their best. His message is healthy stability, rules and order.
In the place of Card 2 I think it is probably speaking to a lack of stability or the following of rules. But it could be showing us a lack of a father figure in your life. Again hard to determine based on the lack of understanding of the problem.
Card 3: Distant past, foundation. This card should indicate the root of the subject matter of the question
Knight of Swords: A knight proudly lifts his sword high into the air as he readys his steed to charge ahead. A hawk watches his from a near by tree, making him look to be prey.
You have rushed into something without fully thinking things through. This is never a good thing, and should be avoided in the future.
Card 4: More recent past, including events. This will indicate events taking place, not necessarily directly connected to the question. For example, if a love affair going wrong Card 3 would show the root of why it is going wrong, whereas Card 4 will show something that recently happened to reflect this. You could see this as a "check comment" card - a way of seeing that the reading is sound.
A woman goes to pick the fruit of her labors from he own fruit tree. She takes a moment to decide if the effort going in is worth the product coming out.
I feel this is a restatement of the situation you relayed to me as your problem, is it not?
Card 5: The best that can be achieved. This is directly related to the question. Note that this may not necessarily gel against Card 10 - it depends whether you are able to get the best. However, a negative card here probably means that it is worth cutting your losses rather than putting any more effort into the situation.
Ace of Pentacles: This card represents a new beginning in business. A big pentacle takes up the entire card with a weasel watching for predators.
A new beginning of any kind is a good one, and this indicates good fortune to follow as well. This speaks to your wondering if you will get beyond your current situation, and I feel the answer is yes, but we can not be sure now.
Card 6: Immediate Future. This indicates events in the next few days or week(s). This reading does not cover months.
Five of Wands: Five men duke it out with their wills, represented by their wands. They fight each other making themselves stronger as a whole. This is also a conflict, or heated matter.
I'm leaning toward the being the fact that you need other people to help you figure out the best path to take in solving your problem. So no, your way is not working in the near future.
Card 7: Factors or inner feelings affecting the situation. Compare this against Card 1 in order to understand underlying forces/trends. If there is conflict between them this tends to indicate that the querent is going in the wrong direction.
Six of Pentacles: A man is weighing his pentacles. He turns a blind eye to some of his pentacles falling into the hands of the less fortunate. He is being to free with your resources. He is squandering your gifts while falsely thinking that you are charitable. This is not a balanced decision.
Are you not using your gifts to the best of your abilities? This is possibly connecting to the need to seek advice from others and you not following through.
Card 8: External influences. People, energies or events which will affect the outcome of the question and are beyond your control.
Six of Cups: Two kids collect flowers and full their cups with them. There is a cat in the foreground representing the present, the scene is then a depiction of the past. This memory of the past is warm and joyous. You enjoy it, and lament on it. Keep it safe but move onward, you can not repeat the past, so learn to live beyond it.
I want to say this has something to do with your mother, but I don't want to pry. Do as the card says, and learn to let go. Lost love is still love, just a different kind of love.
Card 9: Hopes or fears around the situation. This may produce a card that confuses us badly. Always bear in mind that hopes and fears are closely intertwined, therefore that which we hope for may also be that which we fear, and so may fail to happen. Sometimes it is useful to draw a second card for clarification after the reading has been laid, and to read the two together.
Two of Wands: A traveler comes to a fork in the road. There are two options placed in front of him. One path leads to a mountain in the light, the other plains in the dark. Take the path of the mountains. Even though it may be harder to complete, it will take you to your destination.
You seek the right path to take. Keep in mind that the right path may be challenging. I know this is not the easiest thing to accept but life has no shortcuts.
Card 10: Final outcome. This is a fairly self explanatory card. However it is worth saying that if the card comes up somewhat ambiguous, once again it may be worth drawing three extra cards to clarify. These should be interpreted through the lens of Card 10. So if the card drawn is the Tower and we draw the Ace of Cups, Princess of Cups and Four of Cups in a reading about a relationship, the Tower would indicate that it is time to move on. The Ace of Cup suggests that a new relationship is promised with better things ahead. The Princess of Cups brings new love (and possibly pregnancy). The Four of Cups shows deep levels of contentment and happiness, and many options for progress.
Ten of Pentacles: This card shows a treasure chest full of wonders. A rat looks over the chest, looking at you as well. Your fortunes have come to an excess. It is time to share your gifts with others so that you may get a new harvest.
I was confused so I drew a clarifying card.
Wheel of Fortune: This card represents the end of a cycle. The ten of Pentacles and the Major Arcana IX fit together perfectly being both based on the wheel. I think this is showing you an end in you problem, but one can only hope. I just wonder what you problem was? Please tell me what you feel about the reading, and if I can make anything more clear, or do a simpler reading. I personally hate the Celtic Cross.

To everyone thank you for the appreciation. You see now why the single draw is a favored spread. I am also learning to like the Five Card Spread.
