When he was 10, he receieved his first pokemon, a houndour, from his father. He and Houndour became close friends, and when he turned 13, he left home on his pokemon adventure. She trained under Koga, the poison ninja master. However, she decided that instead of using mainly poison types, like Koga and his daughter, she would use a variety of Pokemon that had ninja-like qualities.
