I expected the movie to have changed from the book so I really did like it, though Annabeth was basically Clarisse & nothing like in the book.
And, mystikal_waters, I'm on your friend's side about Logan mrgreen

Okay, I'm tempted to get my aunt to drive the one hour and thirty minute drive into town so that I can see the movie. I have to agree with mystical_waters there, if you pretend that you havent read the books, then the movie should be okay. When I first saw the previews I started to complain that Annabeth seemed nothing like she did in the book, that Riptide wasn't a clicky pen but it was a capped pen, and many other little things. So I'm pretty sure that if you ignore the fact that it's different from the book, you'll probably like it alot more.

Sucking movie.
Flaws:
Perseus Jackson was only 11 years old. NOT 18
Annabeth Chase was supposed to: have blond hair, be on Percy's side in Capture the flag, DID not ask Luke for help.
GROVER UNDERWOOD IS A TIMID GUY FOR GODS SAKE!!!!!!! NOT SOME LUNATIC WHO LOOKS LIKE A D.J.!!!!!!!!!!!
They did not fight a hydra. They did not sneak out of camp. Mr.D received 100 years punishment. Gee, where's Clarise?? isn't she kinda important in the next book? forgot? oopsie! they didn't kno percy's dad was Poseidon. they didn't have to collect the pearls. Persephone was ABOVE!! Grover didn't stay for Sally, Hades didn't even want the master bolt. Why do they keep makin Hades the evil guy???? I could keep doing this for eternity. unfortunately, i don't have that long.
Just wanted to say that this movie was a BIG disappointment.
SUE THE DIRECTOR!!!

They left out the St. Louis Arch scene, the best one!
The only way you could really enjoy the movie was if you knew nothing of the book OR Greek Mythology.
