Takeshi looked down, letting his hair cover his face. He didn't want his emotions, or lack there of, to show. He hadn't had any fond memories of the former mizukage, because he had only been in the village for a few years. He didn't want to seem like a complete jerk though, so he just stared down toward his feet.
He listened in to what the others were saying. He knew that he shouldn't have, but he couldn't resist at the same time. He frowned slightly as he heard how emotional everyone was getting. He looked up and swept his hair to one side. His face was totally emotionless.
Once the man named Zaine and the other one was done, he stepped forward to show that it was his "turn". He stared blankly at the flowers and the memorials. "I'm sorry I didn't have a flower for you. You're lucky, you know that? I still have to live, wondering when MY death is going to be. Always being afraid of what's to come. Always wondering why people like you, me. Everyone in the village, have to kill and ruin peoples' lives just so that we can live comfortably. Did you ever wonder this?" He paused and took a deep breath. " You, who has most certainly killed, and rose to the top. I was wondering when someone else would kill you so that their life could become better." Takeshi chuckled eerily, breaking through the silence of the funeral. "I hate you because you're a ninja. I hate you because you could do nothing to help me or my parents. I hate you because you have killed people. But..." He sighed and looked down. "Those are the same reasons why I hate myself. So please, don't take this the wrong way..." He stopped speaking.
He took off a small sword from his back, which had the symbols for his name, "Takeshi" on it. "This is my family's heirloom. We used to be a great clan of samurai. I'm not worthy of the title 'samurai', or even warrior. So please, take it. It's not like you can decline, anyways." He laid the sword on the memorial, and took his place back within the crowd.

Axel stood there looking down at the memorial. He sighed but did not move an inch. Axel couldn't really find any words to say seeing as he did not really know the previous Kage very well, and the fact that he never really said anything anyway. Axel had worked for her while training under his step-father. the only time he had really spoken to the woman was when he was on a Recon mission with her as the squad leader. But even back then she seemed like she would never die.
Axel simply pulled out a single yellow colored kunai from his kunai pouch. The kunai had some symbols carved into it which read 'Glory is only for those who die for what they truly want to protect the most.'.
Axel placed the Kunai right next to Takeshi's sword on the memorial then stepped away. Axel took a deep breath then simply turned and left the area heading off to another place in the village seeing as he had a lot on his mind and just wanted to find a place where he could think straight.

Having the good hearing he did and a inability to eavesdrop, Genji many of the words spoken around him. All of the melancholy was making his heart hurt. He loved smiles and loved to bring them to others, but this was no time for smiles. Tears were the norm.
So then they trickled down from Genji's cheeks as he step forward. Not bringing a flower made him embarrassed, like almost everything. He was ashamed of himself, like that was not.
"I can't say that I knew you. We spoke once, after all." Genji grew very soft in volume. "I don't know why we, all of the villages and lands, have suffered to the degree we have. And for what? It seems were never learn or grow. War seems to come into fashion around here." Genji clenched his fists. "I hate it. All of this suffering and death is...is... And when we try to talk things out, this happens." Genji was silent for a moment. Then he began again. "You can never give up. It is my dream that someday all the fighting will stop, the people will learn. I won't forget it. I known you must have had the same dream for the world. As long as we keep leaving, that dream will never die." He gave a bow. "There is always light tommorrow. We will accomplish this dream. For you," Genji straighteng, "I will do my part to accomplish that dream."
Genji turned back to the crownd went back to his place by Zaine.

Having lost her attention, Karin was simply staring forward at the post. Zaine's words made her fall back to Earth, rather than being welcomed back with the chilly air of the winter, it was Zaine who was hugging her. "Un..." The young lady murmured in his shoulder before he let go of her and held her hand.
When she listened to the words of others, and heard the others' tears and sniffs. Karin wanted to cry again, it was proper to do so in this moment. She wanted to show her teacher that she grieves for her. But... it seems her tears were all let out earlier. Karin shook her head while her eyes were shut tight. Finally, looking straight at the snow at her feet, slightly angered by her lack of tears.
Maybe this just meant she was ready to take action and try to get the village back up. Maybe, Karin was trying to move on, the sooner she stopped greiving the sooner the village could get moving. 'Is this wise of me?' The new Mizukage asked herself in her mind. "I'm glad that so many people were able to meet her..." Karin spoke, with her soft voice. The voice was simple and quiet, yet it was enough for the others to hear if they listened.
Those were the last words she'd say at the memorial for now, she brought her hand up, to cover her foreheadas she ran her hand across her face. 'Why can't I cry at the time I should?'

Takeshi looked at the new mizukage. She looked...distressed. "Humph. Well if there's nothing else, I would like to be dismissed." He said simply. Yes, it was disrespectful. Yes, people may deem him as being an "a**". But there was a good reason. He knew that crying was going to get them nowhere, and that the former mizukage would have probably not wanted everyone to stand there, bawling their eyes out like idiots. "If not, then I will dismiss myself."

Zaine's grip tightened around Karin's hand and he flashed her a weak smile, his eye's too were dry. "Maybe that little display of mine helped more than I thought, I feel better than I have for a while..." he smiled at the respects of the other shinobi and village members, glad that Rei had left so many friends and loved ones even after she had left this world.
"She was a great woman, and a loving leader, and a wise Teacher. Rei will be forever remembered and missed by those that she touched and may she find happiness and peace in her next adventure!" he said with absolution. He did not even aknowledge Takeshi's comment, continuing. "YOu are all dismissed!" he said.

With a swift nod, Ronmaru spun on his heels, and proceeded quickly back to his house. His head was lifted, as if that small goodbye he'd just given had lifted his spirits tenfold. He stared at the sky, and for a moment he thought he could feel the past Mizukage's hand, patting him on the forehead like she had when he was little.
With that in mind, Ronmaru moved with renewed swiftness to his home, now focusing on the next spar with a clone of his. Of course, the fight wouldn't be that easy. Ronmaru performed sword training multiple times a day, every day. He was well versed with his katana, and could use it rather astonishingly for a Genin.
(Exit, Ronmaru.)

Realizing that she should have said that, Karin looked at Zaine while gripping his hand tighter. "I apologize...I should have said something more shouldn't I?" Karin asked him, as she bit her lip. But, she couldn't really do anything about it now. Next on their list though was to go back to the Office, change, then go out and train their students. 'I think, right?' Karin asked herself.
Karin lightly knocked herself in the forehead for her, what she called, stupidity for not knowing exactly what to do. "Ughh..." she pouted as she gave Zaine another hug. "Thank you Zaine," she smiled, to Karin, Zaine was so much. He had been with her during the rough times, he wouldn't hide anything from her, so honest to her he was. Karin appreciated him, even more now than ever.
"We should get the village rolling now shouldn't we?" Karin chuckled as she tugged on his arm. "Let's go get changed and meet up with our students, no?"

Shimo's head felt heavy from the depression of a fallen resident and leader, so heavy that he couldn't keep it up throughout the entire ceremony. Waiting for either the Mizkage or her partner to say something Shimo sniffed occasionally. Once Zaine finally spoke and the funeral ended he felt a rush of emotions ranging between sadness and anger. Refusing to let out these emotions Shimo around his peers decided to linger in the area nearby before returning home.
Mounting himself on the railing Shimo removed his funeral attire revealing most of his normal attire which included a chain mail top and dark blue pants. Moments later his clone joined him and removed the cover on his gourd placing it next to the rest of his funeral attire. Although it was alittle cold due to the snow on the ground it didn't bother Shimo since he was use to the cold so he sat there staring out towards the village. Without a word his clone removed the cork and transformed into water as it returned to the gourd.

Genji felt relieved that it was over. The heavy blanket of gloom over the funeral seemed to lift slightly. Now Genji had to look foward to keeping is promise to the Mizukage, to bring peace to this chaotic world. It was far simpler said than executed.
Genji looked back at Zaine and Karin. Both of them, the students of the late Mizukage, were going to lead the village back to prosperity together. A smile finally came back to Genji's face after the gloom had taken over. In his heart he knew that the village was in very capable hands.

Sometime later Shimo managed to pull together his composer. Looking at his gourd he decided that it was time he head off to meet with his sensi. Before he left he decided to dash off towards his apartment and drop off his things in a flash, grab his other equipment then leave.

"Well I did say Raiton earlier and Im not in the habit of breaking my promises," he smiled as he pulled out a yellow scroll from his side pocket and unraveled it. After looking down it for a moment he smiled,"So lets get two things down, what you know, what you dont know, and what you want to know."

Ace nodded and smiled at Okami's reply. He then placed both hands into his pockets, then grinned goofily. "That's not a problem at all! Because I want to know EVERYTHING!" he exuberantly stated, his brightness very obvious, and he was so loud that most of the village look up at him, then after realizing it was Ace, they looked back down as though it wasn't anything new to see. "I don't know anything much, I know basic things like running up trees and stuff, and I want to know everything possible!"

"Hmm alright then, I like your attitude," we will start with some simple Raiton Ninjutsu, if you dont mind." He then opened the scroll and looked at the techniques he could teach the boy,"The lowest level Ninjutsu is Electricity Resistance training, but that will require something we can do after these other two techniques." He turned the scroll towards Ace and motioned him to read the techniques before trying them,"First is Nagare Isou no Jutsu (Current Transfer Skill)." He nodded and took out a kunai,"its rather simple, just channel your electric chakra into anything you are holding to give it the electric properties of your chakra." He held the kunai out to the boy, channeling chakra it began to glow a white color and as he touched Ace the kunai shocked him in the arm. He suppressed his chakra now and the kunai turned to normal, he flipped it over and handed it to Ace,"Now you try my boy."
