Silia smiled at the other dragon. "Well, we aren't all extinct, Dear. There was at least one other, but.....I'm not entirely sure if he still exists." Her voice trailed off in sadness for her missing mate. After a moment, she shook off the melancholy. "If all goes well, there will soon be two more adding our numbers. I'm Silia, by the way. So, what are you up to this fine day?"
(I was sort of hoping to get someone to play the scientists that were keeping Achiu captive, but since I haven't gotten anyone yet, I guess I'll just have to do him on the side for now.)
Achiu was curled up in the corner of his cage, plotting different ways for his escape when they came for him. The ritual was the same every time. They banged on the cage with a large metal pole before shouting at him. "Up, Dragon! Come on, get up. Time to get to work."
Achiu growled at them, but had long learned that it was useless to try and fight, so he slowly got to his feet. Cautiously, with the guards' electrified pikes aimed at him, the scientist opened the door and stood aside to let Achiu out. With the pikes behind him, they shepherded him down the now familiar hall to the lab. Poking him in the sides and rump, they forced him to what they referred to as the table. Once he was laying down, they strapped down his legs, tail and neck. Soon a large clear mask was put over his snout and a gas was pumped through the tubes and it was just a short time before he slipped into unconsciousness.

Ci'nala chuckled, then looked up at the dragon called Silia and smiled; it was nice to have someone to talk to. "Oh, just getting food. It's not easy hiding all the time, so I stock up about every week or so." She heard her talk about chicks. "Really? Wow; you're lucky. If I could carry-" She stopped herself mid-sentence. "Sorry about your mate." She sent her tail out to wrap around her shoulder in a comforting manner. "And what's a mother-to-be doing so far away?"

"...are you sure this is the right way?" Kai asked after awhile of walking.
Eclipse glanced at him "I had to make sure I wasn't seen in my actual from. You wouldn't want me to be hunted, do you?"
Kai sighed "Of course not...it's just been awhile and my leg's still sore from falling the other day."
Eclipse grinned "You're one of the most clumsiest humans I've met..tripping over a smooth rock and falling into a thorn-bush in one move takes talent.." he chuckled, then paused "He is near.."

Silia nodded. She brought her tail up and laid it over Ci'nala's. "Thank you." After taking a moment for herself, she answered her question. "Well, since I'm on my own, I don't really have much of a choice, do I? If I'm to take care of them, I have to keep my strength up. I needed to get something to eat, and fish sounded good, so, here I am." She shrugged and smiled a bit. "I've figured out a way to keep them warm for a few hours so I can get away, but I can't stay away too long. I'll have to go back to my cave soon and take care of them." She tilted her head a bit, examining the younger female.

Lo, and behold, further off in the distance of the coast, some dark clouds had formed. Although the day shone bright, a change in wind had brought forth a rather dismal weather front, which raced steadily towards the shore. Although there was still some time before it arrived on the island, and the shifting winds may still yet take another turn and divert, out from the clouds appeared a long serpentine figure.
Sa-ar wove through the air, propelled by his feathered wings. A pair of gleaming green eyes, set in his snake-like head, locked on the form of two dragons on a ledge overlooking the sea. Without much further ado, he veered off towards that direction, belting out a large roar that sounded almost like thunder to announce his presence.

Anya walked due north through the mass of trees and ferns, not her first choice but a necessity, she had to figure out where on the island she was. "Log entry two, experiment time..." she said into a Dictaphone fumbled with a stop watch sill she found the right button. "Ten minuets, 35 seconds" came the artificial voice of the watch, "No contact as of yet, next update at first contact."
Anya had to admit that the roar scared her, what a magnificent sound, she could also hear the water s she must be reaching the northern cliffs. This was good "Log entry 3, experiment time.. twenty three minuets, 43 seconds" she started "no actual contact but I have positive identification, one probably male still some distance from the island wind speed has increased slightly over time." Anya breathed in deeply "Test one will begin momentarily," she said approaching the cliff edge carefully.

Max continued the hike for the longest while, observing everything that he could, occasionally scratching the bark on a tree or cracking a branch or twig in a wierd way-small things-to mark his path so he would be able to make his way back when he was done with his walk. After a short time, he began to get the strange feeling as though he were being followed, or watched... Max stopped and looked around a little bit, checking to see if there really was anyone following him or watching him. He saw nothing. He didn't trust it, but he still went on. Not too long afterwards, did he hear a thuderous roar that sounded pretty far off. A tinge of excitement went through Max, and subconciously sped up his pace, partly hoping to see the dragon, even though he was probably not headed in the right direction.

"Well, if you need any help, don't be afraid to tell me. I know what it's like....to be alone with no one to help," Ci'nala admitted sadly. But she turned to face the direction that the roar came from, instantly on the defensive. "Did you hear that?" She lowered her head and snarled in the same direction.

Silia smiled at Ci'nala. She seemed like such a sweet girl, and it was easy to feel her sadness and loneliness. "Thank you. I'm alright now, but it will be more difficult after the chucks hatch. But until then, it's always nice to have a friend. You're welcome to come up to the cave any..." She cut off in mid-sentence as she too heard the roar. She positioned herself so that she and Ci'nala were both protected as best as possible. "Yes, I did," she growled. Scanning the horizon, she saw a green shape far off and coming right their way. She nodded her head in that direction. "Over there. You see that. Do we stand or try to get away?"
When Achiu finally began to make his way through the darkness that had eclipsed him, he found that he was now in a cage. It was much smaller than the pen he was usually kept in and looked as though it were made for transportation.
When he tried to stand, he found that he was so weak, he could barely get to his knees. Looking around, he found that he was outside, in a part of the human's complex that he had never seen before.
A ways away from him, he saw some of the scientists talking. While pretending to ignore them, he listened closely, trying to find out what was going on. "So, when are they taking this beast away?"
"Later today, I think. A helicopter will be coming to take him over to the mainland. After that, I think they're taking him up to a secluded lab in the north."
"Really? I heard that they were thinking about sending him to a special zoo or stuffing him for a museum."
"Well, either way we've been ordered to keep him heavily sedated until the flight drew gets here, then they'll take over."
A lab in the north? A zoo or museum? I can't let that happen. If they take me away from here, I'll never see my beloved Silia or our chicks again. Oh, but I'm so weak, how can I ever escape? Achiu's foggy mind did it's best to try and calculate escape plans, but would he ever be able to come up with anything in time?

Maximillion continued on his way, his pace having slowed down a little bit, as he was starting to forget to mark areas here and there so he wouldn't get lost. "And to think... I wouldn't have to mark places if I had just brought my GPS..." He said, thinking out loud, shaking his head a little bit and rubbing the back of his head. "Well, I can probably get back without too much trouble, so long as I start back before it gets, to. Dark..." His speaking slowed as he began to hear voices up ahead. "Who could be way out here...?" He asked, as he sped up to a fast jog. After about a minute, he was about to see a large structure through the treeline. He moved slowly now as he peeked from behind a bush, seeing what was going on. He saw what looked like a large loading area for helicoptors. "Why would they need helicoptors this far away from the docks...?" He whispered to himself, before his eyes spotted a cage, and inside of that cage, a dragon. "Why in the world would they be keeping a dragon locked up like that...?" He whispered again, before something inside of him simply felt all of this was just wrong. Though he probably would regret it severely if he got caught, he began to make his way down, ducking behind a stone, box, bush, anything to stay out of sight when someone looked his way. It was a tasking and time-consuming process, but soon he weaved himself through the loading area, and got to the cage, standing behind some boxes nearby so he could stay hidden. He could see the dragon was awake, and Max spoke quietly, trying to get his attention. "Hey, hey! Its true that dragons can speak, right? Tell me how to open the cage, and I'll try to help you out of there!" He said, even now looking for a lock on the side he was facing. ((hope you don't mind I went a little quickly, but rescues require that sometimes, yes? xd ))

Anya stood on the edge of the cliff listening tentatively, and speaking softly into the Dictaphone, "voices heard were female, of an origin partway down the cliff face and to my right, very close hence my voice. Apparently there are two of them, one bearing young, the roar of the previous male seams to have scared them or at least made them nervous." Tristan's cold eye's couldn't help but twitch, the thought of doing this, talking with dragons, it was exhilarating.
Suddenly the exited twitch was replaced by an exasperated dart, "Aborting this opportunity, I'm currently on a cliff, the dragons are below, directly above the water." Anya didn't move until she had finished speaking, her movements where little more that shuffling backwards, but that alone was enough to disturb the loose dirt covering the rock. The dirt which had bean stable moments before gave out beneath Anya's feet, she let out a scream as she fell towards the sea. ((Edit.. sorry I keep calling her Tristan??))

Pleased that he could still shatter the air with his loud thunderous roar, Sa-ar sped up as he closed steadily upon the cliff-lined shore of the secluded island. His plumage whistled as wind rushed through it, as he wove through the air, almost as if swimming, closing in on the now defensive dragons who had been fishing just prior.
As the two contemplated whether to stand or flee, he eased up on his speed, raising his head, and puffing out the part of this that barely constituted as a chest int he scheme of his long serpentine body. The very exotic dragon narrowed his green eyes, evaluating the two pensive females, taking note of the one who was snarling. This only provoked him to bare his fangs back, ruffling the feathers on his wings and thrashing his scaly tail side to side. However, hostile as he was feeling, he also was prompted to try and speak.
"You there..."
Unfortunately, he seemed incapable of finishing this sentence. It'd been over a millenia since he'd spoken to another dragon, and somehow 'bow before me mortal' did not seem appropriate. Furthermore, he was still disoriented from his long sleep, therefor he was uncertain truly how to proceed. So he let his sentence trail off as he continued to shift and writhe in the air, continuing to look as impressive and intimidating as he could.

It was difficult sometimes for Achiu to speak human while in his dragon form, and it was made even more difficult by the fact that he was drugged. But he didn't think he would be able to transform, and even if he could, he wouldn't give these scientists the advantage. So he forced the words out quietly. "Yes, we can." He looked around, examining the cage. "I'm not sure. I've never been in this cage before." Finally, he spotted a heavily reinforced section behind him. "Over there. It looks as though there is a lock. The scientists no doubt have the key. Do you think you can pick it?"
As Silia watched the green shape, it quickly became apparent that it was a dragon. One like she could never remember seeing. But before she and Ci'nala had time to make the decision, Silia noticed some rubble crumbling from the cliff above and behind them, then heard a scream as the cliff gave way. She saw a young human girl plummeting toward the sea.
Having less than a moment to make her decision, she cried out to Ci'nala as she dove after the human. "Watch him!" She folded her legs and wings tight to her body, plummeting as fast as she could. When she was just feet away from the girl, the girl almost an equal distance from the water, Silia reached out with her clawed front feet and grabbed the girl gently but firmly. Once she was sure she had her, she unfurled he wings and beat furiously to stop their decent.
Making her way back up to the top of the cliff, she set the girl down just as the strange male stopped his flight and began puffing himself up, like some cocky bird. She didn't know whether this girl was worth it or not, but she wasn't going to let her be harmed in the mean time, so she pushed her so that she was hidden behind Silia's own body.
Focusing her attention back on the male, she got the feeling that he was trying to make himself seem intimidating. It might have worked, but at her age, there was little that Silia feared. She was fairly certain that if it came down to it, she and Ci'nalla could put up a fight. At least long enough for them to escape with the human and get back to her cave. "What exactly do you want?"

Anya gritted her teeth, she had hit a jagged outcrop on the way down, it had torn through her leg, then she stopped falling. It had to be one of the dragons, one of the female ones? Did it matter? She couldn't think, she was still scared, maybe the dragon caught her so it could eat her? Well at least it beats drowning she thought to herself. The dragons hand was slightly wet, this made her uncomfortable and squirmy. Then all she could think of was the pain, the blood, this was the first time she had experienced real pain, she had no intention of feeling it again.

Myia arrived at the island with a smile across her face. "This place is lovely." She smiled as she headed for the place she would be staying. She quickly dropped off her bags and changed into a light purple sundress. Putting on flat, white shoes and a sun hat, she made her way outside to explore. She was just there to relax and nothing more. Anything else would be a bonus. She hummed lightly as a tune came to mind. She was quite relaxed within her mind which seemed rare to her. She looked up into the trees as she heard creators chatting away with their own kind. "As lovely as it sounded. I must thank Lillia when I get back."
