Kokuangō You fell away. What more can I say? The feelings evolved. I won't let it out. I can't replace. Your screaming face. Feeling the sickness inside. Why won't you die? Your blood in mine. We'll be fine. Then your body will be mine. Kokuangyo snickered at the newcomers idea. "So barbaric. So juvenile. Do you believe you could beat me? Keeping in mind you have never encountered my servant, nor myself, and now that I am at full strength." More people were arriving. "What, were you planning on ambushing me after I accepted? Thats low. Low like a leech. I'm surprised that your bird hasn't eaten you yet leech." More and more continued to show up and Kokuangyo enlarged himself to three quarters of his full size. (12ft tall for the mathematically challenged.) "Oi. Calm yourselves peons. Drain out the piss and vinegar. Now I don't know about you lot, but I did not spend nearly two thousand years trapped in that sword to only ever have two owners. Nor did I get out of it to waste my precious blood on lesser beings such as yourselves." He interrupted his own speech to through in the word , "Brutes." Then he continued, "The fact of the matter is that our former wielders are all knocked out, and we're free, so why aren't we taking over soul society right now? Afraid of the generals little adder? Nonsense. I say we crush the worm beneath our feet while the opportunity is still golden rather than fight amongst ourselves." His tone quickly changed, "Any of you that try to stop me on the other hand." It was dark, and serious in contrast to his witty sarcasm. "Or, we act like heathen Barbarians and bash each-other over the head with rocks until somebody dies."

心の輝き køkøяø nø kąġąyąkι 心の輝き Light gives of itself freely, filling all available space. It does not seek anything in return; it asks not whether you are friend or foe. It gives of itself and is not thereby diminished. "A weakling Lieutenant's spirit is still a weakling Lieutenant's spirit. Despite your release from your master's prison, you are no stronger than you would have been with him, yet you taunt a Captain's spirit, one who has trained to release all of their potential? It's thinking like yours that will get you killed. If you continue to act and think in such a manner, I'm afraid I will have to cut you down here and now so that you will not be a burden to our goals, though I do not wish to. You all sound like little girls fighting over something stupid, enough." Kagezume's voice came from above and within a few seconds after his speaking, it became apparent that he was hovering several feet above ground, sitting cross-legged with his scythe pulled close to his bare chest. Kagayaki was standing just behind him, having decided that she would rather stand than sit. She was exceptionally quiet at most times, and that wasn't about to change. She seemed to be staring at the Seireitei walls that had been lowered because of their presence, as if to determine how to best get past them.
"I'm not sure what to think, to be honest." Kagezume said, tilting his head back to look at Kagayaki. "Let's look at this logically for a second; we've got four sets of powers, Hibiki's, Kusari's, Hideki's, and Kai's. I've heard Rei talk before about Oni no Kaze, and she seemed to think he was relatively powerful, but I believe she said her mistress beat him, and if she's on their side, then that could cause a problem. I don't even know Kokuangyo or his wielder, and we generally know as much as our former master, so that must mean he's nothing special. I do know of Datenshi, and the master seems to think highly of him, which is good. But Yasahii Ryuku... last time I checked, he was curb stomped by Hei who didn't even have us with him at the time." Kagayaki tilted her head to the side, having been listening only a little bit as she was still silently determining the best method of entry. With a mere nod to acknowledge his words she vanished, not through a method like Shunpo, but quite literally vanished so fast it look like she had teleported. "What in hell... Why did you... ******** it." Kagezume sighed and looked down at the other spirits. It doesn't matter who they are, I'll ********' break em'. 影爪 kągεzυмε 影爪

Shinji Takimono Walking along, looking for any clues, her electric blue eyes come across what appears to be a woman wearing little, to, if it was really, clothing. "Erm.....hey" With a waves of her paper fans, it was the best she could pull off as a greeting, as the sight of this newcomer really took her by suprise. Being a Zanpakutou spirit herself, she was well aware of the different shapes and forms they could come in, depending on the owner, but this woman made her wonder what her actual owner was like to shape her Spirit this way. "Do you by any chance know what is going on?" She was ordered by the other Spirits around division four to spread the word of their owner in their barracks. "Your owner could be in Division four...y'know, if you were curious...." She wasn't the social type, but her Mistress was knocked out and she needed answers, and to get answers, one must communicate.Rei Nagare Zanpakutō Spirit Fur-covered ears twitched as Rei turned to look at the being that was calling and speaking to her. "Yes, my mistress is the Captain of that Division, though I seem to have lost her." Flicking her tail back and forth, Rei turned to look all around, as if the person speaking to her was no longer important. She could feel several powers outside of the Seireitei walls, and it seemed as though they had gathered for a specific purpose. At least three of the signatures she knew well enough and that much was bothersome and enough to make her a bit nervous. "I wonder what is going on around here. There must be some reason I am no longer connected to her..." She said to herself, grasping her own tail in her left hand which was just a habit she developed for comforting herself. Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves.

(Kage Ookami, Defenders, 2nd Division Training Grounds)
((Kage Ookami is a set of 10 personalities. Each colour is coded to a certain Personality. Only one personality can take form at once.))
Kage awoke abruptly, face down on the floor. He pushed himself onto all fours and gazed down at the floor. His hands appeared that of a human, he was wearing a long dark coat with the hood over his head, that caused his face to be masked by shadows. A large chain dangled from his neck hanging like an oversized necklace. "I'm in human form?...Ryo?!". The sound of breaking branches and a thunp behind him made his stomache take a panic turn. The sound of confused voices flooded his head. "Kage? Where's Ryo?" "Kage?" "Hey, what's happening?" "Let me out!" "SHUT UP! I'm figuring it out. Geez, how does Ryo put up with us all? You wanna try multiple personalities in your head..."Kage said while pushing himself onto two feet. Not accustomed to two legs he hestitated to take a step. "Idiot, let me try human form, at least I'm kind of accustomed to biped." Kage knew only one of them could be present at a time. They were no longer usual summons. Thing's are now complicated. Kage turned to see the source of the noise and Ryo's limp form was lying face down on the ground. "What's happened to him? We were training and suddenly..." He whispered to himself. Frowning he approached Ryo's form and pushed him over onto his back. He appeared unharmed, just asleep. "Isn't there an infirmary? Whatsername...Uh...Yuki Taichou? She's a healer right?" Said Kamiko's uneasy voice. "Yeah..."
A short journey later Kage peered into the Division four's windows. "No one's here but loads of unconscious shinigami." He said frowning, now realising the seireitei appeared to be completely void of life. He pushed open the doors of the building and prowled the line of beds for an unoccupied bed. Gently, he rested Ryo's lifeless form on the bed and stood staring at him for a short while. A cough inside his head interrupted him followed by a sly hiss. "Perhapss we should find the source of this mess...""Indeed..." Agreed a low growl. Kage looked up and nodded.
Kage made his way outside, deep in thought and his hands in his pockets. A stance that Ryo commonly took when troubled. A sudden presence snapped him out of his thought and he looked around, suddenly hopeful that life still existed. Over in the short distance a large figure was wrapped around a tower. It's sudden appearance caused Kage to freeze. "I've seen that before..." "Stop looking so gormless, idiot. It's a zanpakuto spirit, right?" As soon as it appeared the figure was gone, not to be followed. "The Captain-Commanders, I'm sure...This means others are around here too." Kage answered, drifting back into thought, though slighty more alert and walking in the direction that would take him to the middle of the seireitei.

"Heard a voice and felt a odd sensation?" She didn't mean to say it in such a manner, but she was one to feel edgy without her master by her side. "It's the same for others too..." She didn't like the feeling she was getting, only one other prescence was known to her, as her master has only observed him once, and that was the same stifling, almost suffocating power belonging to one spirit. "Come to think of it..." She didn't want to sound rude, but the Spirit in front of her reeked of the other's scent, meaning they were generally close. "You should go look for her there...." Something she said however perked up her head, eyes growing wide. "You're the division 4's....wow..." Regaining composure, he places her paper fan in her left, outstretching her free hand. "Tenka, Spirit of Division 5 liutenant, Nu....." There wasn't a bad time for proper etiquette, especially to one of higher rank. Must make a good impression or it will be trouble for Nu in the near future.

∞ D atenshi : ∴ : R ebels ∞ ⌈ἐκπίπτω⌋ -------------------------------- Datenshi looked at the crow as it came around to him. His head twisted to the side as he threw out one of his arms to try and grab, though it was just out of reach. He stomped his right foot into the ground with disapproval and shook his head to rid him of the nerve. He looked over to where the crow flew back too and could over hear the conversation well. He moved around the corner of the building he stood behind and had glanced up as he did so, seeing who was above them, he paid no mind. As he continued walking he saw one of them grow larger and continue to speak highly of himself. Datenshi was going to place his input on the matter but Kagezume got to it before he did, so he held his tongue. He approached the group and stood around 5 feet from Oni no Kaze, and looked up to Kagezume. " I assume you are the self proclaimed leader, as you released us? You do your job well, already assessing the variables. It would seem to me your twin, Kagayaki, has found the first problem to us even trying to approach the Seireitei..." Datenshi shot a small glare to the now 12ft being near him, " The Sekkiseki stone wall. That's what I have the feeling of. The question I hold is how we would approach that aspect. They'd most certainly know we were coming in such a direct manner of action. Though we could use that to our advantage." Datenshi left it at that, and if they wanted to know more he would speak. He wasn't one to pass his boundaries if it would cause unnecessary conflict with in the group.

Tsuin-Keiteki Ouhi Aisu-Hebi
Ouhi Hebi The Leader of the Defenders

Thunder roared over the skies above, and Ouhi's growl followed with it. Her large body moved through the sky and came to a stop over the First Division's barracks. Ouhi lowered herself down, and a mass of twisting dark purple situated itself. The the mess of the ball came her head, her eyes opened, and they shone like two giant orbs of ice. She could see most of them, and feel them as well. There was a mass of spirits, then there was only a few in one area. Ouhi closed her eyes and raised her head in to the sky. She opened her jaws and another roar released itself. Snow began to fall around the First Division.

---Namihime--- ---Defender -- of -- Seireitei--- ---Zanpakuto -- Spirit -- of -- the -- Fifth -- Division--- Nami could feel a distant sinister presence that sent a chill down her spine that she ignored considering the presence wasn't nearby and was in the Rukongai. Then again that meant the people of the Rukongai were potentially in danger which could be bothersome if the presence was left to it's own devices. Still she couldn't help but notice it was surrounding by other presences that reeked of malice as well. Nami was quickly beginning to become worried about the whole situation though she didn't let it show on her flawless face. Lee wouldn't have wanted her to just sit around worrying about things that hadn't happened yet. So instead she kept her head held high moving forward with her silent graceful steps as she neared her destination only to be stopped after hearing female voices nearby discussing something.
Listening as they seemed to be around the corner she waited for some way to identify them receiving her answer after the talking seized as the spirit said she was the Lieutenant's spirit. Nami couldn't recall if she had had any interaction with any of the spirits as from what else was said she deduced the other was the Division Four Taicho's spirit. Still from what conversation she did catch they seemed to be as confused about the situation as her or at least that was the way it seemed. Feeling that they would mean no harm to her Nami continued forward around the corner until the two spirits came into her view and then stopped putting on a kind smile.
"Hello I am Nami. I was curious if you two knew what was going on? I just woke up not long ago to my Shinigami on the ground unconscious. Now obviously I am worried about him so I thought of visiting the Fourth Division though I no longer think the journey would be fruitful. After all there don't seem to be any other Shinigami conscious. It was odd for the Fifth Division to be so quiet but I assumed they were all out. Still that doesn't appear to be the case." Nami spoke with an air of nobility though that was just the way she talked so wasn't meaning anything by it. She looked up into the sky in the distance before returning her gaze to the two spirits before her waiting for an answer patiently. Then she heard the roar and looked in the direction of it again seeing the large spirit somewhere off in the distance. Still she didn't sense any harm from it so again returned her gaze to the others.

Ryuku smiling, let Yasahii down, whom had just now awaken in excitement. A youthful girl with white hair, brightly cleared skin, and large breast, now bouncing spoke, as she placed her hand on her hip, smiling, standing close to Ryuku. " Sounds fun I'd be delighted, being trapped in a sword for over 3 centuries has bored me. Just wish I had a chance to meet Kai. " She said, whispering the last part, however Yasahii had much more to say. "But allow me to get one thing off my mind, you giant beast. I'm nor weak, or a brute. I could expand beyond your limitations if I wanted to. So don't dare be little me because of size, those very assumptions could easily be proven wrong. " She said, now stepping forward, close to Kokuangyo, as she starred up, with threatening eyes, even though she was a female.
" Now-now Yaya, he was only being a douche, please forgive him. And if my little sis is in, I'm in too. What about you--bird man? I rather destroy stuff, than fight among ourselves. " Ryuku said, with a widening smile, hoping Kaze would join them, and partaken in destruction. For if he didn't he'd be our first victim, Ryuku thought, hoping he'd make the right choice.

Rei Nagare Zanpakutō Spirit After shaking the girl's hand, Rei's right went to her tail as she fidgeted with it nervously. "I don't know..." Rei looked away from the others and towards Ouhi-hebi with a worried look cast upon her face. Her ears perked up when Nami spoke to her, though she didn't really listen too closely to her words. After hearing something about the 4th, she looked over at the girl and jerked her head back in the direction she had come. "The 4th is right back there..." Despite the fact that she had been sleeping atop her mistress's barracks, she was unaware that the others were there for the simple fact that she wasn't paying much attention to what was going on. Had she even bothered to do so, she would know that Yuki was in her room sound asleep. Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. "The wise man never shows the tricks he has up his sleeve until the time is right, and yet I'm sure everyone here could tell you about your show off self and your powers. Meaning that EVERYONE can plan around you leading the attack. You are horridly wrong for basing any knowledge about me off of my pathetic servant. " He then turned his attention to Yashahii. "And I wasn't using size for any of those references twit. I was asking why we are wasting our time fighting amongst ourselves like brutes when we could easily go take the soul society. Though I suppose brutish strength would be the answer to opening the gate."

∞ D atenshi : ∴ : R ebels ∞ ⌈ἐκπίπτω⌋ -------------------------------- Datenshi's face contorted and then went to one that would normally be seen upon a pompous rich fellow. His voice was now deep and slightly raspy as he spoke, Tsuchi coming out, " You keep bickering about how we are fighting amongst ourselves, when you continue to press the very same point, issuing the furthering of this fighting. You could have very well left to do this as you saw fit long before any of this even happened. You could have very well not enlarged yourself to seem imposing to stress your power, yet you did, and you speak as if that that wasn't the point of doing the act in the first place. It would seem to me you are but a ridiculous excuse of a spirit and a walking, and unfortunately, talking contradiction to what you say." Datenshi's eyes were pure black as he spoke, looking up at Kokuangō, the feel of his gaze full of pity and demise. His eyes then, from the pupil, spread to pure white, and his face went to a softer tone. His voice was just as soft, now light and caring, much like a monk or priest, " Now now, Tsuchi. Do try to be polite the first time out. You will end up saying something you'll make us regret." The left half of his face went to Tsuchi's features, his eye becoming black there. " Quite Joukai. You are to soft. This is a war. Not a chess game, you can't just replace your peons and pieces upon loosing them." The right side of his face put on a sad face, " Hai haaaai, Tsuchi. I assume you are right." " Of course I am. Now get back in his head. Im coming." Both eyes returned to their normal greyish-blue color and Datenshi's face returned to normal, now in a questionable look, as if irritated with his Schizophrenia coming out at a time like this.

It gives of itself and is not thereby diminished. "I do believe I told you to shut up, little man. All of you, arguing like stupid little kids, it's saddening." Kagezume rolled his eyes and dropped down to the ground so that he was looking Kokuangyo in the eyes. "I'm not basing anything on Kusari, you insufferable twit. Had you been listening to the conversation I was just having with Kagayaki, you would have heard me say that I know nothing about you. However, I do know that your master is an exceptionally new recruit and being one of two spirits that is released from their Zanpakutō daily, I know exactly how it works when one is released. Their power is directly proportional to the power of their master. And from the little that Hei knew, you are but a little child." Kagezume turned on his heel and walked off from the group rather slowly. "Again, it is that kind of thinking that will get us killed. Brute force is not the answer to everything, especially not here, since the gates are made of Sekkiseki. And in case you have no idea what that is, let me explain it to you. It will kill you no matter how powerful you are." Kagezume stopped and slammed the bottom of his scythe into the ground. "But there is a way. You should know, if you are so goddamn aware of what I can do. Actually, it's quite preposterous that you would suggest brute force if you claim to know my abilities so well. Just remember this; knowing an ability doesn't automatically grant one the ability to circumvent it. Stupid child. Datenshi... come." A gust of wind blew past Kagezume, ruffling his pants and hair, right before he vanished in a cloud of dark mist and headed towards the South Gate of the walls. ((defender, 4th squad barracks))
Ryu floated silently above Tao's still body, staring down at him in the form of a small red dragon. It made a few squeaks, and than landed on the ground nearby. It's body shifted and began to take shape of a human. After a few moments the newly formed body looked around, it's eyes crystal blue and very reptile-like. "Well, well... it seems the Shinigami have once again gotten themselves into something they cannot handle..." His eyes shifted to a ever-changing green. "Yes, it seems they have. But which side to take is the question..." The eyes changed once more to the beautiful crystal blue, "I think you know that answer, I don't know if I must remind you - but if something were to happen to Tao we would either disappear or loose a portion of our power." He stretched, he wasn't used to the new body. It was taller than Tao, but not by much, but it was muscular. It was not the scary bodybuilder muscles, but a nice lean one. The eyes flickered to the green, but didn't speak for a few minutes. "Very well, we will protect the ignoramus, but," he turned to where Tao's body lay motionless, "You owe us, Tao." The eyes flickered back to blue, and nodded his head. "We will bring that up after we find out what it is that brought us out, and what has put him and the other Shinigami under this spell. Let us go." The eyes stayed blue, and he jumped out the window.

He looked at all the other spirits and nodded, bidding them adieu until they next met. He moved behind Kagezume and, upon his exit, left with a flurry of white and black feathers. Headed for the same area as Kagezume. Datenshi came into view near a tree line near the south gate, coming in at the head ethereally, all the way until he was completely there. He left his arms rest on his hips as he waited for Kagezume. Looking upon the gate he smirked, awaiting the battles to come. It might be a chance for him to actually stretch his wings.
