26 now, but still in my "move to a new province and go back to school for no reason" phase. Habit of acting half my age so I expecting a few more years of the same.

Well let's see. The primary thing of my life is school. I've been going to a 2-year college for too long (switched majors 4 times). But finally I'm entering my last semester before I transfer to a 4-year college. The good thing of my extended time here is I'm transferring with so many units that I'll only need to spend 1 year and a half at the four year to get my bachelor degree in Social Science. Soon I'll have to look as to where I want to go for my master's.
I have picked up DJ'ing as a fun side-hobby. My vision and goal coincides so far with schooling so no sweat. I'm hoping to spend this breaking mixing and mashing better so that come the new year I can put out some demos and such to get better business. Life is good there.
I'm on student body for my college currently as "Senator of Legislative Affairs". I basically handle a lot of the boring, legal work with constitutions and bylaws. I am finding it slightly interesting. Overall it keeps me busy. Yet they expect me to do all my work in "the office" as we refer to it as, though they are so loud and off track and unmotivated that I can't think, focus, or be motivated myself. gonk
Overall, life is moving for me. Took my entire time here on Gaia so far, but I'm finally getting things working for me perfectly almost.

I like this thread, it's like a recap episode. If PJs was a TV show, what season would we be in?

Aoife hhh, I remember Velquist around here actually, but I didn't thin it's been THAT long since I was around... we have been separated since 2006 if pjs was a tv show i think we would be in season 8 or maybe higher....

It's nice to know I've been around since the original season. Makes me feel like the producer must keep me. I'm like any of the Griffins from Family Guy, even Meg. They are all essential or else something would be lacking, like The Cleveland Show. xd

Lessee about me... where do I start...
Well, I work as a Front Desk Agent at a hotel; been there for a little over year. I like it and hate it at the same time, lol. Graduated from college with an Associate's degree over a year ago in Hospitality Management. Erm... I am the oldest of 2. My sister is 20 and my brother is 25 with me being 26. Yahoo! Currently looking a place to call my own since I still live with my father at the moment. I haven't changed my username... yet. That is all I can think about at the moment. heart

I love this thread heart
Kasey: Your Achievement Unlocked is "The Human Keg" <3
I don't know much of what to update, my hubby/Zathy's brother went to school and I 'manned the fort' at home for three months. That was half his classes so now he's a second year certified Apprentice Plumber. However, the economy is still just shitty enough he hasn't got any work and has picked up a part time job as a shipper/receiver.
Maybe I'm not going back far enough? Hubby and I moved from icky city in 2007 to beautiful small ocean town and we love it here. I got a union job doing clerical work at the local hospital, and he started his Plumbing apprenticeship. He proposed shortly after we moved here and we Eloped in June 2008.
I still work at the hospital and now I'm in the Radiology department, still clerical work but this department is awesome and the other one was not. We got the first kitty I've ever had, my beloved Penelope, in August 2008 and she is loving and wonderful.
We are hoping hubby will get work Plumbing again in the spring, and then after his student debt is paid off he will sign up for the last two courses to be a Journeyman and then make lots of good money. At that point we will start seriously looking for a home to own instead of continuing to rent. We are also thinking kids soon.
I think that's about it. 2009 was rather hard and I'm hoping for bluer skies in 2010. <3

You rock sweetie. I have been SICK, which sucks. I have had a severe (and I can't stress that severity enough) headache for...well, today is day 11, although the last 3 days has been much less. At first, I thought it was just a stress headache...I am prone to headaches, and I used to get migraines, but no more...anyway, when it lingered on and on and ON I realized (finally) there was more to it. I had this last year as well, so I know what it is...it's Viral Meningitis! yippie! Characterized by a stiff neck and pain in neck/head...an inflammation of the meninges which is the protective covering over your brain and spine, protecting the central nervous system. I was vomiting sick a few days from the pain, and no meds help at all... I have done nearly nothing this past week and a half, and it's sucked. That's what's new with me... mad

Awww, poor Aoife!! sad Get well soon!! The only other things I can think to add: I *have* moved. To Cranbrook BC. It's a horrible place, with absolutely NO craft stores or anything of the sort. gonk I've done more wirework - which can be found here : Link! if you're interested. Umm.... Yeah. That's about it really. Nothing else interesting, I'm afraid. sad

@Aoife - get well soon!! I was sick just last and is still recovering. Drink lots of water and get plenty of rest. That will help.
@Naito - love the wirework!! I especially like the little horse, Elora's Unicorn. I don't think I've seen that type of art before. Is it really made out of wires?
It has been over a year since this thread was last updated whee . Nothing new here, except I'll be 28 in a couple of weeks cool .
