Got caught up with the voices of cleansing in his head and went off to find the vagabond himself? Before leaving he could give the next alpha-to-be (be that Milo's or whoever's) the instructions to watch the pack for him while he's gone. We can assume those in stasis went off with him, thereby excusing their absence while giving them a reason to be gone instead of "LOLTHEYWENTPOOF".

Also have Satoru to toss as one of those that need to be initiated in; he'd turn into an omega.

I've been wanting to turn Zelsius into an omega so badly but I can't figure how to do that ICly ;;

Well here's my thoughts on all this.

I like both the ideas of Danel either getting killed or disappearing. Each provide their own plot ideas and since I haven't been real active I don't have as much as a say as too which we should choose or who should be the next alpha. Although if the Heir isn't going to be an alpha I think there should be an rp of the heir and the next alpha either talking/fighting/debating on who should be alpha, possibly with the other pack members joining in?

It would add to the plot because some of the members of BH could fight for the position and once they lost start plotting the new alphas demise? I mean before everything died the pack was 'falling apart' and even if the Alpha and betas disappeared the pack wouldn't be fixed straight away, in fact it's almost expected that it would be even worse. There would be fights over leadership, wolves stepping out of their rank, chaos, you get the idea.

Also I think, once the alphas chosen mind you, there should be a new heir. (No offense to Tei!)Kinda like the betas I don't think the new alpha would want the old heir to be in any kind of position where he might try to take alphaship. Even if Fallyn doesn't want to be alpha still he'd be a threat. Another plotling could be thrown in using this........maybe a competition between the pups/adolescents to see who should become the next heir?

All just ideas but hey any little thing helps right?

I really don't have much of a say in this, but thought I should probably pop in. Just... all the waiting and stuff kinda made me fall out of the loop and whatnot. Though if things pick up I'll try and be more active with my gamma.

But... basically I'm with Cutie there. I kinda have a feeling the heir wouldn't give up the alpha position lightly considering he was supposed to be next in line and all.

The problem with the Heir is that Teigra is probably going to have to make the succession a way for the Heir to stop being such a coward. The only reason the two wolves I have didn't say anything about the Heir was because the God chose him. But they're losing the alpha, either the alpha disappears by himself, or something.

The Heir's going to have to change a lot, to lose his cowardly ways. The succession could be a way for him to break out of being a coward but I don't see that happening... At least enough to change some wolves' minds about him.

I'm sorry I've been so inactive as far as the Brotherhood is concerned. Whatever you guys decide concerning Danel is fine with me. It might be the easiest for him to just up and leave because the voice tells him to. It'd leave room for the Heir to take over the pack. He'd still most likely have to fight for succession, though and, in that respect, it may be the easier route for him to get tired of Danel's dictatorship and challenge him personally. The old alpha will die and the Heir's place in pack society will be sealed. Whatever you guys decide. Truthfully, I'd really like for him to be left alive for future plot points. That is, if you guys aren't too annoyed with my lack of leadership.

Once again, I apologize for my inactivity. I tried to get the pack going but then real life threw sh*it-storm after sh*t-storm my way.

Hey guys, sorry I let you all down as far as the Brotherhood went x_x; Life just...kinda sucked lately and I haven't been doing much of anything.

I've given it some thought, and if you all don't have a set plan of action, can it be said that Occidio seemingly disappeared after the usurping? Injured, most likely, so that it could seem as though he's dead but in the off-chance I actually have a slowdown in life and an RP muse I can play him? I'd really love to (I love his character, and I'm still flattered DT had such faith in me to pull off that kind of wolf). I just don't want to force myself into any kind of pack plans as...well I failed at that the first time around.

Could also potentially be quite interesting as far as an RP goes. But yes, if it isn't too much trouble? ;;() Thank you, and good luck with everything! <3

Just a note, guys: nothing moves forward in this pack if there isn't agreement from pack members on a new alpha. My application was on the first page, but I'll repost it here.

Milorganite
I would be fine with taking the nomination for Rummy to be alpha. If I was given that position, I would make these things pack priorities:
  • Pack meeting and redistribution of duties (someone would have to take Rummy's old manager jobs, betas would have to be appointed, and then other gammas would be split into teams. Omegas are, of course, pup stealers/sitters.) Ranked members who are no longer active would be considered lost/dead/demoted; regular gammas or omegas who were never roleplayed would just be in stasis and could return if their owners wished.
  • Initiation and indoctrination of the pups/adolescents from the last RP contest and the few who were stolen before the numbers cap was put in place.
  • Sending out hunting parties to find the vagabond, and cleaning up any messes he left.

Rummy is a micromanager; that's the kind of alpha-hood he'd have. He'd be on top controlling things but would most likely not take a big personal role. He is not emotional; he is not powered by revenge like the last God. He would run the pack based on what he calculated to be best.

OOCly, I would set up a nicer members list and write up RP requirements for ranked wolves. I'd also set up a system for those who have pups and adult males they want to join the pack. There would also be some kind of event system to encourage RP among the ranks, as it is very difficult to RP Brotherhood wolves outside of the pack.

I don't know how many active Brotherhood members there are and how many we need to make a decision, but that is my platform.

So, other ideas for the pack and the wolves in it are fine and good and there probably won't be a problem with them -- just know that, unless the owners of pack members vote on an alpha, there won't be any action in the pack.

Milo, most of those active in the thread have stated they're fine with you taking the lead providing you're active. The question is now, how to proceed?

I personally like to know the plan beforehand. So that's why I'm asking about how things are going to happen, ie what's happening to the Alpha? Are we RPing that part or just glossing over it? Will other omegas be chosen? Will betas be chosen in RP or out?

As I had stated before, fun as it would be for the Heir to step up, at this point, it'd be completely out of character for him to do so, because at this point in time, he's still a coward with nothing going on in RP to change that.

Of course, I am totally up for something happening eventually to change this, because it would make for fascinating character growth, etc... But right now? This current situation is bad for him all around. The old leader is gone? That was the only real 'power' of any sort that he had, that he was Danel's 'chosen heir'. It's earned him resentment and mocking among most of the pack, so if Danel is gone, so is that bit of protection.

Maybe that means this IS the start of that change for Fallyn. With the heirarchy in chaos, he's either going to have to find a way to step up and find some courage, or else he's gonna' end up dog chow. >.>

It's going to take a major event, or at least something to spark the start of a change, much like I hinted at in my RP entry. He's going to have to be forced to make a decision...to either become a sniveling coward for life, or man up and start proving he's not worthless. It'll take some work and a lot of RP, but he can change...eventually.

And that's not to say that down the road, he may not have been one day ready to take over for Danel...but right now? No, he's not, and I just can't take him out of character completely to do so. D=

Yes, but the reason I asked DT to a guild announcement was so as many Brotherhood owners as possible would get a vote in. Otherwise there's no real majority.
By the rules, the new alpha needs 75-90% of the vote, and proof of it.

Well then I'll throw my vote in in favor of Rummy

Dandrel would like to say that he is fine with whatever happens at this point.
We just had a baby boy on Jan. 8th so he's going to be occupied for some time and most likely won't be able to play his wolf for some time. Hopefully when the baby gets into more of a sleeping schedule or at least gets days and nights straightened out he'll be around more. <3

Silpha is on his way out of the BH in a plot, but he's still in it until it the plot hits the climax, which it hasn't. I'm not of any particular consequence at the moment on account of that, but seeing as the plot's been inactive for a while, I figured I'd at least throw in my vote.
I'm not sure about Ori at the moment, though. I was in the process of getting him into the BH, but then RL intervened and apparently the person playing Danel (whom I think is Elros? I am a derp and have forgotten somewhat.) went poof or something. :/

My vote goes to Rummy, anyway. Could be fun with him in charge.

I see that pippi has spoken for me already, but I will agree with whatever happens. If, once things get straightened out, Loki is needed for anything, feel free to ping me a message, and I will try my best to get to it quickly. I will be checking on things late at night, usually when the baby is keeping me awake anyways, so I may have time to do a little RP'ing.
