Typo Positiv Wait, so you guys didn't okay this and aren't happy about it, eh? Hm, I thought it was something interesting. Turns out to be a copycat. Lame, Gaia, for taking the original ideas of members and using it for a game. stare No, we didn't okay it. And while I'm honored that we're in the game, it is somewhat... problematic.

Yeah it is kind of lame that Gaia can do that, but I think it's in the terms of service that they can use any of the users ideas if they stem from Gaia itself and do it with out the user consent. I know it's at least like that with the contests..
That is my favorite place in zOMG though since it references a lot of other things besides the GIB

what im suprised about is the fact there arent mroe GIB agents in zOMG. i only count 2. the concerned citizen in old aqueduct and angel nelson in barton, near back alley bargains in-game. anyone know of more?

Knoxlysia X what im suprised about is the fact there arent mroe GIB agents in zOMG. i only count 2. the concerned citizen in old aqueduct and angel nelson in barton, near back alley bargains in-game. anyone know of more? From what I've heard, Nelson is not actually an agent.

They really need to release some sort of info someone stating that they took the GiB Idea from a guild that was made before zOMG!. @Tim We always go off-topic Tim. That is how we are.

Yeah, I do rather enjoy that area. I just got there recently, and have been talking with ALL of the NPC's there, and there are quite a few references. I can understand why they put a GIB agent there, though. What with all the zurg talk in the area, it would only be appropriate considering the GIB played a big part during that event. Eh, after understanding the area there better, I think if anything you should be honored to have him there. You guys made Gaia history, and people are being reminded of it through zOMG. At least, that's how I see it.

As for the devs giving credit to the guild that created the concept? Maybe they will in time, maybe they won't. But anyone who has been involved with the plot of 2007 does know that it was us before the guild.

i think we should get a little recognition for the original idea but not like announce it to everyone. maybe put something up saying that the base of concerned citizen was us?

weren't we going to make an agent carathurs fanthread?
but i dont think many of the agents have gotten that far yet, so nobody really wants to write it. I would offer to do the layout, but then we would just end up with a load of sparkly black-and-pink graphics.
