Akimi wandered into the building, bright green eyes peering around from a pale face framed by light blue hair. She looked a little uneasy, but at the same time completely enthralled by the sight. A human dance! How lovely~ Soon, she was grinning to herself, and with confidence restored and excitement boiling over, she strode into the room with a slight skip in her step. Of course, she quickly put a stop to that. She was supposed to be a boy. However, she was only 5'3", and the woman she spotted was closer to six feet. She suddenly felt tiny, but approached her nonetheless.
"I like your dress," she announced, smiling jovially at the woman, Ristuka. She herself was wearing black slacks with dress shoes and white button up shirt, with a black jacket over it. It looked formal, but oddly casual at the same time, the jacket left open and the shirt only partially tucked in. She wore a skull necklace around her neck as well, but it served an important purpose beyond just style. It was what hid her extra appendages. She was trying to blend in as a human. A human boy. And her technology helped her with that. Still, she had a couple extra features added for the sake of Halloween. It was her understanding that humans liked to dress up for this particular holiday. So added to her messy suit was a high collared cape, and very real looking fangs that glinted at the corners of her mouth. Of course, she didn't fully realize this school had actual vampires in it. She was still new. "Is your name Ristuka? I'm Aki. It's nice to meet you!"
Kira was nervous. She had known what she was getting herself into, but now that it was happening, she had butterflies in her stomach. She wasn't sure why either. Sure, it was a blind date, but did they really expect to stick with the person they were paired with? As far as she knew, the pairings were random, so there was nothing to say they'd get along in the first place. If he's an a**, I'll just ditch him, she assured herself, nodding her head for further confirmation of the fact. But for all she knew, he might ditch her. After all, who would want to be near her anyway? Her nerves had triggered certain.. little changes. She had her human ears intact, settled in place on either side of her head. Yet, she also had one, rounded cat ear. One little ear without another to complete the set. And to finish it off, a black cat tail was flicking restlessly around behind her, nudging her skirt down just slightly to make room for its escape. Still, she'd prefer that than it snaking from under her skirt and lifting it up.
The odd, not-quite-cat girl was wearing a simple outfit, consisting of a knee length skirt with light ruffled layers in black, with an orange, slightly snug fitting t-shirt that said "Boo!" and a light jacket to help with the chill in the October air. A pair of black converse on her feet completed the casual, Halloween themed outfit. She had her hands in the zip-up hoodie's pockets, pale skin contrasting sharply with the black material, as deep blue eyes peered around at those already arrived. Her brow raised at a male rocking back and forth on the floor after an outburst, and a scantily clad woman caused her cheeks to flush a soft pink, before her attention quickly diverted and landed upon a rather effeminate male with hair longer than her own. She blinked, stared, and then slowly approached him, flattening the single cat ear in the hopes that he wouldn't notice. It blended in with her black hair at least somewhat... but probably not enough. "Um, hey.. I'm Kira. Are you..?"

Sam comes in, bright eyed and bushy-tailed. "He" looks around, seeing only a few people he recognized. Looking around he smiles. 'Nice touch... she thought, seeing all the candles, curtains, and pumpkins. His eyes adjusted to the light, turning a light golden color. He walked over randomly to the punch bowl, thirsty. He walked away with his drink, leaning ageist a wall and sipping it occasionally as he looked around at the people, his right hand in his pocket. '...Wonder if anyone will notice...' Sam thought, she wanted to pass as a guy.. not just any guy though... a normal human guy. Her fox tail swished back and forth behind her as she pondered this, hardly noticing anything. Her ears popped up, alert to any sounds beside the music. She didn't look up from his drink, hardly noticing the people that had came in.
OOC: you may notice I say He... and She a lot instead of just one or the other... it's just how I type sweatdrop

Rawrshark stopped rocking back and forth and looked up at kira. he stared at Kira and finally said in a quiet voice that can bearly be heard."Am I what? Am I Rawrshark? I hope thats what you were going to ask..... if that is what you were going to ask then yes I am Rawrshark." the voices start talking to him again saying 'See its not that hard to talk to people' Rawrshark said quietly to himself "yes it is". he looks back up at Kira and stares wide-eyed and says in a quiet voice, "you probably think I'm crazy don't you?" he shrinks back further into his corner as he says this

Ristuka was still having an inner battle when she was approached by Aki. This caused her to panic and unlike most who jumped Ristuka froze. She took a couple of moments before replying to the short feminine looking boy, "Yes. My name is Ristuka but you can call me Riku for short if you'd like?" Her sentence had started off as a statment but sooned to more of a question. Why? She wasnt quite sure. Raising her head a little bit her sun kissed face appeared from behind the vail of black hair and neon blue streaks. Smiling softly she showed a pair of fangs that were very much real and yet they clashed with her wolf ears and tail.

Kira blinked, and her head tilted, peering past Alexandros and toward the rocking male upon the floor. She looked confused for a moment, quietly staring as she watched and listened to his words. "I.. wasn't talking.. to you..." she murmured, trailing off as her confusion seemed to grow, and she shifted nervously, her weight switching from foot to foot. Crazy? Yes, he did very much look crazy, and she was reluctant to go near, so she lingered closer to Alexandros, or the person she thought was him, and watched this guy, Rawrshark, from a distance. What kind of a name was that anyway..? She decided not to ask.
"Well... you are sitting in a corner. And rocking. And.. I think you're talking to yourself," she replied with a frown, her arms shifting to fold over her chest. Her single ear had lifted slightly to try and better catch his mumbled words. Yes, he was definitely talking to himself. "It's not hard to talk to people, when it comes down to it," she continued, still watching him with a wary gaze. "Just stand up, stop acting weird, and go for it."

Aki's smile remained heavily upon her lips as she watched this girl freeze up, oblivious to the reason why, and instead simply felt excitement at guessing the right person. This excitement continued as a nickname was given, and Aki's head nodded with over-enthusiasm. "Okay Riku!" she exclaimed, beaming up at her with her own fake vampire fangs. Nickname's meant friendship and closeness, right? She thought it did. It was the same on her planet at least, so that meant that they were now friends, right? And this woman trusted her enough to let her use a pet name! So the over-excited Aki started bouncing a little in place, looking over the taller female and examining her fangs with a start of surprise. "Ah! You're dressed as a vampire too?!" she cried happily, clapping her hands together. "An.. and a wolf..?" Her smile slipped a little, allowing her face to cloud over with slight confusion. Maybe it was a monster she hadn't yet discovered in her research. She hadn't had much time to investigate this.. Halloween the humans enjoyed so much.

rawrshark glared at her and knew instantly that he shouldnt interact with people that he doesnt know which is everyone. "I told you so." he says to himself quietly "this is why I dont talk to people" he says to himself again. the voices say to him 'yes..yes.. i see what you mean now... you might as well leave..or you can give this Sukai Sakaki person a try maybe she wont think your THAT crazy'. " I guess i could give it a try with her" he mumbles to himself. he remembers that Kira is looking at him and listening to him. he looks up at Kira again and glares at her.

"Im dressed in this dress and I have make up on but thats only cause one of the girls in my dorms caught me....But other than that everything is real. You are dressed as a," Ristuka leaned down and sniffed Aki's neck. She stood up again and had a very confused face. Once again she leaned down and sniffed Aki's neck, "Hmmm..." Ristuka's ears flattened out and her tail wagged back and forth slowly. This was an odd combinations of scent. "You are not a vampyre to say the least but you smell off....Like a human but somehow different." It sounded like a question but had turned into a statement abruptly.

Sukai walked into the room kind of nervous. Lights were spinning around in the room, and everything seemed so magical. She decided to actually look nice for this event. She had spiked her hair for this occasion, put away her normal attire and traded it for a more classy look. A simple black, sleeveless Chinese cut dress, black fishnets, and flats were all she needed. It didn't surprise her that many people had decided to be other things out of the ordinary. There were plenty of humans that populated this school. She had yet to find another vampire in her peers. Looking around she was surprised that a few people had slowly filtered into the room, and there weren't too many people dancing yet just the brave few that wanted to strut their stuff!
"So, where is this guy?"she questioned loudly looking about at the array of people.
She didn't really know what the guy would look like, and often times she knew these blind date things wouldn't really work out. Sukai almost back stepped starting to talk herself out of it. But instead of walking straight back out from where she came, she decided to venture into the scene.

Sam looked up after hearing the two's conversation. 'Nice advice...' She thought to herself before walking over to them, bored out of her mind. "Hey." The boy said with a smile, closing his eyes and cocking his head to the side. ((that's her signature smile by the way)) He looked down at the boy and smiled. "Rough huh?... he said, not once thinking he was crazy. Looking at the girl he smiled. "I like your outfit... it fits you perfectly." he said softlywith another smile, hoping she liked the compliment.

"What are you..?" Aki started, jumping slightly as the taller woman stooped to.. sniff her neck? She stiffened a little, looking confused, while her mind slowly registered the girl's words. "So.. so you're a real vampire?!" she gasped, her eyes wide with awe as she stared up at her, momentarily forgetting the odd neck sniffing. She didn't seem to take it as a threat either, like most probably would. It didn't really seem safe to have a vampire at your neck. But, Aki didn't have long to ponder over this, because she went on to speak further, claiming that she wasn't human. For a moment, Aki's face just went blank.
She stared dumbly for a few seconds, and then suddenly lifted her hand like she was waving off some invisible bug, brushing away the very idea. "Aha~ You're funny," she laughed. "Of course I'm human! It must be my pe- ..cologne." Ah.. she'd almost slipped and said perfume, but from what she'd found, only human girls wore perfume. Males wore cologne. "Oh hey, look at all that food!" she burst out a second later, trying to change the subject, and when shuffling over toward the tables against the wall, cape billowing behind her.

Rawrshark saw the girl walk into the room and pondered whether or not to approach her and ask her if she is Sukai Sakaki. he decided to stay in the corner where it is semi-safe. he wishes that they had shown pictures of the people that you were set up with on a blind date. the voices in his head start talking to him again 'i think thats her... you should go talk to her.' "no" he says to himself quietly hoping that she didnt hear him. "if she comes over here and talks to me i will talk but im not a good conversation starter." he says to himself again.

Again, Kira blinked, looking slightly taken aback by his glare. She knew she hadn't been the most cordial in her approach, but she felt she'd said what needed to be said. If he continued to act so odd, it was no wonder people would think he was crazy. He really did just need to stand up and give it a try as a normal person. Still, it didn't seem like he wanted advice. "Well..." she sighed, lifting a pale, semi-clawed hand to absently tuck some hair behind her ear. "Sorry for trying to help." She frowned at him once more, then started to turn away. After all, she hadn't even been talking to him. He'd started up the conversation in the first place. Didn't that mean that he was capable of talk, at least a little? Well, she'd just let him figure things out on his own, since he obviously didn't want assistance.
Muttering a few choice words under her breath, she turned her back and stepped a little closer to Alexandros again, hoping to correctly start up a conversation this time, but again she was intercepted. This new boy received a confused look, as Kira found herself wondering why people were willingly approaching an odd looking girl with three ears, but she quickly pushed the thought from her mind. Instead, she peered down at herself, then smiled lightly. "Oh.. thank you."

Rawrshark looks at the person who complimented him. "thanks?" he said quietly. "he doesnt look at me like im crazy" he says to himself. he shrinks back as far as he can into his corner. he looks at the guy who complimented him "............. why did you come over here to talk to me? if you were listening to what i was saying earlier you wouldnt have came over here." he mumbled Rawrshark glared at Kira one last time then went back to sitting in his corner ignoring everyone there. he just sat there and started to listen to his music again. he closed his eyes and tried to calm himself down. he didnt like most people and didnt like to talk much. [Spazz edit: Just a friendly suggestion for you~ Instead of double posting, wait and combine both posts into one. That way you can make them longer. And if you're talking to more than one person, and both are currently online, just wait for them both to post before you reply. That way you can respond to more people at once. You could kill two birds with one stone, so to speak, and also increase your post length, because this post is a bit too short again. This isn't a warning, just some tips for the future.
